Scammers — I used padmapper/zumper to list my condo unit as a rental. I sent myself an inquiry through the site, pretending to be interested renter, to see if the site works. What happens next is crazy — I got 4 contacts from strangers asking if I wanted to see their own condo units. They said that they have condo units to show me! So, this site basically allows strangers steal potential renters for my unit, to get traffic for their own units. Shameful. Never again.

Can you remove "studio rental listing" for 718 San Bruno Avenue, San Francisco?

I removed Zumper studio listing so Zumper doesn't show studio for rent at 718 San Bruno Ave., S.F. online but Padmapper online public record still shows studio for rent. I couldn't figure out how to remove studio listing from Padmapper. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE REMOVED IT. THANKS

On Monday evening a posting went up for a unit at 1625 Larimer Street in Denver, CO for $680/month. Description said it came fully furnished with utilities included. As I am looking to move within the city this peaked my interest. The rent seemed extremely low but I thought if it was only for a short time perhaps it could be perfect and I was interested in learning more from the owner.

I inquired about the listing Monday evening. Tuesday morning I woke up to an email from a Dr. McClain with some broken english explaning why the listing was so low but they were no longer in Denver to show the apartment. Nothing seemed super out of the ordinary so I filled out the application and sent it back to that email. This morning I woke up to an email stating I had been approved to live in the condo without being allowed to see it and this person was requesting the security deposit be paid in full with first month's rent before they would mail out the keys.

Although I cannot find this listing on Pad Mapper anymore I would like to report this listing as a scam. Not to mention, the second email I got this morning was from the same email address but signed by a Jayson Phillips.

I really hope you do file this as a scam. The email address I was receiving the application and information from is: mcclaiin. [protected]@gmail.com

I got a call from a person who wanted to rent my apartment and he said that he found it on Padmapper. But as a matter of fact, I never provided any information about my apartment to this website.
Yes, I found it and wrote an email asking to delete this information because I temporarily have no apartments to let.
They did absolutely nothing. They just ignored me. I can't do anything at all to remove something I haven't ever posted...

I signed up for the website www.padmapper.com. I filled 3 applications for different houses and apartments, and it was mentioned on the website that within 4 hours the agent would contact me. I waited couple of days, but nothing. I tried to reach them, but no one replied to my emails. I really was disappointed in this website and waste a lot of time. Not recommended. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this website.
