Hi! I bought 3 e-tickets on June 26, 2009 to a club called PACHA in NYC. At the entrance the security persons were very rude to us and we were not allowed to go in because one of the persons did not have a "proper" ID. I spoke with the manager and explained him that the ID was an International Student ID which foreign students have in the USA. The manager said he could not help us with anything but that we could get a refund if we contacted the company where the tickets were purchased. Ok, so I went home, and the day after I contacted the company.
That company is located in UK, I sent them an e-mail explaining the problem but nobody answered, and it's been 2 weeks since then. I tried to call the club from NY but the machine answered, I had to use a contact form on their website to get in touch with them. I wrote them and they answered that I could not get a refund due to the terms and conditions to which I agreed when I made the purchase. So here is my complaint: we could have entered the club without the person that had the international ID and we would have lost only one ticket(that is 24$), but because the manager told me right away that I could get a refund on the tickets I left that place and came home with the hope that my 72$ will be returned. I'm upset about the fact that the manager, most probably, knew that a refund was impossible, but because he wanted to get rid of us he told us that we could get the money back. So what do I do now? I want ot return my money or exchange the tickets.
