Awful Awful company to deal with!!!
I ordered a monitor with them as a present for my boyfriend.
It was delivered damaged (box had been dropped on its corner and had very obvious crack in the cardboard) which is obviously not Overclockers fault but the couriers. I thought Id try the monitor anyway and I figured if its not working thats what they/the couriers have insurance for.
Monitor didnt work and I asked for a replacment. They said they wouldnt send out the replacement until the orignal was sent back (fair enough) and I would have to send it back myself as they were having "problems" with the couriers. I decided I wasnt willing to hand out the £35+vat for DHL to bring it back and I insisted they send the couriers themselves as they were able to send them out to deliver items. I was told 3 days in a row that they were coming the next day to collect it and in the end I had to demand they send a courier and after sitting on hold for another half hour I decided to get a refund as I realised I was just being messed about. They sent the courier to the wrong address even tho i specifically stated it was my work they had to come to.
Trading Standards assured me that under the distance selling act I was entitled to a full refund including delivery charges as the item delivered was faulty. When they were processing my refund they first refused to give me delivery charges and then couldnt (wouldnt) give me an exact refund amount. I had to quote the Trading Standards distance selling act to them!
They are a bunch of ignorant smug idiots (with the exception of 1 of the tech support team) and I will never buy off them again!
If only I could get compensation for the money I spent calling them which amounted to almost £100!!!

I think they must work on commission for most money not handed back to entitled customers!

They are a completely horrible company. But you get what you pay for. They are the Ryanair of the PC Components Industry...low low prices...low low service. Give www.scan.co.uk a try. I use them now. So far so good.

I think JustinM summarises the company well. I have twice ordered high-end systems (£3000+) and twice been treated horribly. The second time (everyone deserves a second chance?) I was able to realise I was being treated like a mug and get it all returned quickly. I would caution against purchasing any OCuk assembled products. There may be value to be had in ordering single parts as long as you don't rely on them. This is a summary of some of the problems with my second attempt at buying a large system from them.
The water-pump was fitted by glued Velcro over the only intake cooling fan to the motherboard and processor compartment (all other fans in the case are exhaust). The case was ordered as described by OCuk as socket 2011 compatible etc. but the water cooling they had fitted could not fit a socket 2011 without being returned repair. OCuk said this was because the engineer had decided that it was more likely the build would not be for a socket 2011. Mr xxxxxxxxxxxxx claimed it was not possible at time of assembly to check what type of motherboard the case was for! Had the engineer checked the order he could have assembled a case I could use.
The water-cooling was not the type that Mr xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx would recommend for the case. Bear in mind the case was pre-assembled to Overclocker's specifications as part of an order including socket 2011 processor and motherboard, not mine. Also, at the time of order, having been informed of a delay for assembly I asked whether the case was the most suitable available for the order and it was confirmed to me it was. "The OcUK Watercooled Case range comes pre-assembled for your convenience. All of the difficulty of watercooling has been removed and allows you to enjoy the best performance without the hassle."
The order was incomplete missing processor, ram and SSD.
    I await my full refund.

I went to Overclockers.co.uk thinking they were specialists. BIG MISTAKE.
They are unable to put a PC together properly and, when it inevitably goes wrong, they've proved themselves completely useless at solutions.
My "Ultima Viper" PC has crashed/blue-screened on a regular basis since I bought it (voltage problems, apparently) and despite going to the hassle of returning it, problems remain. It developed a loud squealing noise but instead of diagnosing it they just changed the power supply (£75) then returned it. The second I turned it on the squeal returned. Quality!
By a scientific process of elimination (poking with my finger) I determined that the noise was actually coming from a cooling fan (£10).
The monkeys at Overclockers kept procrastinating until the guarantee ran out and now I have a pile of junk on my desk instead of a top-flight PC. It is just a matter of time before it goes out of the window.
If you want a properly-configured computer with half-decent service, DO NOT buy from these jokers. They honestly haven't got a clue.
