[Resolved] outsurance / house/contents claim

[protected]. Phoned outsurance today after the house was broken into at around 3am. They stole all our electric appliances. The consultant wouldn't listen to me even after they had sent letters showing that my policy was revised (increased) to not over insure or under insure my contents. Even after I'd read this letter to the consultant, they insisted that I'm not insured. They can keep that stupid coming out bonus they are robbing for!! I advise you not to insure with them. They are criminals!! Cancelling my policy ASAP!! WASTED MY MONEY FOR YEARS

    Customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the complainant have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where image of the company in question and it's services are concerned.

  • Updated response: Thank you for the detail. Our claims manager contacted your mother (our client) as well yourself and discussed the detail. We are insuring the actual building for our client only and nothing else. The loss your mother suffered after the unfortunate burglary pertaining to her household goods, is sadly not insured.
