OUTsurance no work done for third day

I was instructed by Outsurance to take my vehicle to the panel beater as soon as possible. I confirmed that I would take it in on Tuesday. Tuesday morning my vehicle was taken in at 11:30, the manager at THE PANEL BEATER requested authorisation and till today no authorisation was given and no work was done on my vehicle.

OUTsurance five weeks and no service

Had a car accident on 29th of July. Same day sent Outsurance police case nr, drawing of accident, description etc. Consultant that first helped me was Tumi. Today - 5 WEEKS later - my car is still standing in storage. Tumi never gets back to me, everytime I phone I speak to a different consultant - promises are made, never kept. Took them 4 weeks to send out an assessor - pathetic! Send me a mail confirming qoutation for VW approved panelbeater was approved - they phone that panel beater and say that I want to fix my car somewhere else. They truly give the worst service in the sourthern Africa, and if you're on here to try to sway your mind to join them or not - DO NOT! They are full of promises (like it takes a max of 4 days to complete your claim), take your money like clockwork, but when you have a claim, they just conveniently ignore you - if they had an office in Namibia I would go there and not leave until my claim is sorted. Lucky for them they are in Johannesburg - so Namibians beware this company! No feedback, no support!

I strongly agree with the complaint of no service. I had a car accident in August 2011 and its now December 2011 and still the claim has not been complete. Thank fully i had a third party claim but will never consider taking up an insurance policy with Outsurance. People pay on time every month but when you have an accident and require assistance there is waiting period for everything so you end up waiting months with pathetic service. No call backs, its up to you to constantly phone and check if your claim is processed and should the panel beater strip you vehicle and find something damaged by the accident you will have to go through the whole process again. What a waste of time, money and energy spent after paying your monthly premiums.

OUTsurance poor service

I was involved in an accident when a driver, insured by Outsurance, drove into the back of me on 18 July 2010. When contacted by outsurance I faxed them all the relevant details inlcuding quotes. I also personally took my vehicle to their own evaluator. Subsequently however I have just had no feedback from them. They have completely ignored my last 7 faxes despite same specifically requesting that they acknowledge receipt. I have also telephponed the claims handler directly but its always the same message 'she is currently busy on a call" and she does not call back. This is extremely disapointing. The merits are simple and their insured driver is clearly at fault yet when it comes to fixing my car they just remain silent. I see they have won awards for customer service but clearly they no longer feel they need to maintain these standards nor do they keep to their webpage and media promises.

This accident was over a month ago and as Outsurance is ignoring all correspondence I have no idea whether they intend settling or not. Do I have to incur legal costs just to get them to respond?

Another huge concern for me is that although my vehicle mentioned above is not insured by Outsurance I do have another vehicle that is insured by them. If i ever have to rely on them for this other vehicle will they also simply ignore me and leave me with the problem to resolve on my own? At this stage I have lost complete faith in outsurance.

After CarteBlance on 101 tonight we saw an advertisement about the father who talk to his wife and daughter. Its raining and the truck swifting
out... it is very disturbing!

This panel beater in Jhb south have no sense of urgency at all - donot come back to customer and do not have the care in the world.

ihave to constatntly make the follow ups myself.

they are based in Bbooysens.

No policy has been sent on coverage on any items for a long period of time, , , , policy gets paid but no info on what and what cover, , , , , want to completely cancel the plan due to bad customer care, , , numerous calls etc...
Policy within one week or cancelation!

OUTsurance claim

I was in an accident on 5 may 2010 with my geely ck1 1.5gt and put in a claim with outsurance. I got my claim number on 7 may 2010. Since I have been phoning regularly to get my car booked in at the panelbeater (Germatic autobody [protected]) they claim that they cannot get the parts for repairing my car but I gave them details of the only agent for geely in pretoria, chana gezina [protected]/sarel [protected]. They want to use someone that is not an accredited geely dealer. Chana gezina can get the parts within two working days. I'm not getting any assistance from outsurance or germatic. I asked for another panelbeater to repair my car but outsurance does not want to appoint another panelbeater. Please assist! I want them to appoint another panelbeater that will get started on my car immediately as I am a huge risk on the road now with my brake lights not working. I need this fixed asap!

Outsurance have contacted me on Monday regarding an insurance with them but unfortunately, I would like to cancel. I've phoned several times to [protected] and no answer from there side to inform them that I am no longer interested within their insurance.

Please cancel all my vehicle insurance viz. Toyota corolla 2003 model, BMW 330i 2003 model and BMW 330I 2019 MODEL with immediate effect as I am no longer owner of the vehicles.

It will be appreciated if the debit order will no longer be effected from this month end.

I subscribed to your policy from 1 April 1918. You quoted my R 800 and deducted R 1200.Please reverse the payment and cancell. This is unacceptable.

Outsurance is a scam company. They take your money and when it comes to a claim they come up with stories and lies. I am taking them up. They will pay me out.

MR. M.T. BARTMANN POLICY NO. OT4546918 CLAIM NO. [protected] WAS SUBMITTED AND AUTHORISED ON 28/06/2013. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS REPAIRED IN OCTOBER OF 2012. IT SUBSEQUENTLY STARTED LEAKING AGAIN. AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS TO OUTSURANCE AND THE ORIGINAL REPAIR COMPANY, INSTYLE POOL SERVICES, OUTSURANCE ISSUED A NEW CLAIM. MRS. BARTMANN PASSED AWAY AND MR. BARTMANN AGE 72, A RETIRED MALE, HAS BEEN FAITHFULLY PAYING HIS PREMIUM OF R1707.00 MONTHLY. IT HAS NOW BEEN 17 DAYS IN TOTAL AND AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS, WE HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED SATISFACTORY SERVICE. MR. BARTMANN IS PROMISED THAT SOMEONE WILL COME OUT AND REPAIR THE POOL AND AFTER REQUESTING TO SPEAK TO ONE OF THE MANAGERS, STILL NO-ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CALL HIM BACK. ON THIS INSTANT, 15/07/2013, NUMEROUS CALLS HAVE BEEN MADE TO OUTSURANCE AND STILL NO RESPONSE. THE SERVICE RECEIVED FROM OUTSURANCE IS UNSATISFACTORY TO SAY THE LEAST. MR. BARTMANN PAYS HIS PREMIUM EVERY MONTH AND YET HE DOES NOT GET ANY RESULTS FROM OUTSURANCE.

An Outsurance client hit my car. On the 23/02/2012 a lady named Natasha reversed into our 2week old car in a parking lot, she refused to give us her details and wanted to drive off as she claims it wasn’t her fault. Never mind that we saw her and hooted for her to look up but she continued to reverse and look down. Not looking where her car was going. After about 30min she finally gave us her name and cell number, we reported the accident at the police station. We have many witnesses as they heard the hoot and looked out the window and saw her hit us. Natasha is insured with outsurancece and now 5months later they claim to have a witness that contradicts our statement. We have proof that the witness is lying yet Outsurance don’t care, this is corruption, what is the world coming to? so anyone can just claim they saw the accident and the guilty party can get away with it. Ridicules and shocking this is fraud what do you have to say for yourself.

I send emails. phone all the time and nobody from outsurance is contacting me? WTF? i really thought outsurance was the best. BUT YOU ARE RIGHT, YOU ONLY GET A LOT OF LIES AND ### OUT! I was in an accident on Aug 10, today is the 13th of SEPT. I dont know when i will receive my car back as nobody responde to me.. NOT the panelbeater nor OUTSURANCE. Cancelling my insurance directly after i receive my car! OUTSURANCE IS OUT!
