Outback Steakhouse The bar area

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time, however lately it has gotten bad. The smell from the bar area is horrendous . It smells like mildew and rotten food I have complained to the manager and they have said that they don't smell anything. I am wanting to continue to eat at this establishment but the smell literally turns my stomach. I have tried to go through the proper chains of command, being the bar tender and manger of the restaurant but nothing has been done. To use the restroom a person has to walk by the bar and the smell will make you want to not finish your meal. It is to the point I refuse to eat in the bar area. This is a persistent problem that has been going on for over a year. If it continues I will not go back to this establishment... please look into this. Corporate looking into this establishment is the only way to resolve this as management wont correct the issue.

Outback Steakhouse The service/food

On April 11, 2018 at 8:19 pm, I placed a to go order at the Outback in La Plata MD store number 0386, and the SvrCK# is 149. I spoke with a young lady who took my order and I got the Alice spring chicken with a sweet potato and I order the 9 ounce sirloin with double sweet potatoes. The Alice spring chicken was horrible, it was burnt and hard, and the sweet potato was burnt as well. I don't live by there so when I got it and the food was not edible I called for the manager at 9:48 pm and was placed on hold for 7 minutes and 15 second. I hung up and called right back at 9:55 pm and the rude lady on the phone told me I had to continue to hold because the manager is busy. I told her I would contact corporate today and hung up. I am mad because I come there so much and the experience yesterday was horrible. From the service to the food. I left going to outback by my house years ago because of that. I want a refund or a gift card because I didn't eat that it got thrown out. The food was hard as a rock and burnt. I was so upset that is why I called back last night. We live about 15 to 20 minutes away. I have a outback 5 minutes from me and I hate that one because they get the orders wrong all the time and their service sucks. I would like to hear from someone in reference to this matter. Thanks in advance.

Outback Steakhouse Food and staff

We visited the Outback in Leesburg Fl on Friday night April 6th and we were a party of three. The waiter took our order which was a no rules pasta, Prime Rib dinner Medium and a Rib Eye medium. We made it clear to the waiter that the salad and French Onion soup we wanted with our meal we would like to enjoy and did not want the Entrée and those items to come out at the same time. He delivered the soup and salad and 2 minutes after he sat it down here came the entrée. I said something and he apologized. The Prime rib that came out was old and completely over done I sent it back. The rib eye was rare and it was sent back. A manager which appeared to be in training came over an said she would get new food right out. Well new food came out and the rib eye again was not done and they bought me a piece of rib eye steak which was not what I ordered Prime Rib. The Rib Eye was good but not what I ordered very ticked at this point. The same manager which appeared to be in training came back to check on us. I explained that the one rib eye was still not done but better and that I got a steak instead of Prime Rib. She gave us the bill nothing was offered or taken off the bill I said something to her and she said well you ate it. She got frustrated shook her head at me I asked for her card and she never came back with it period. I asked for the Proprietor I believe her name was Kelly Clueless on how to handle it . Offered desert as we walked out the door which we did not want and just kept saying come back let us take care of you again. AH NOWAY. I called her the next day as we also ordered a to go item which they forgot to put the salad in as well All she could say is come back and let us take care of you. The most stupid ridiculous visit I have ever had at OUTBACK. Every time we got to the Leesburg branch something is wrong. We will not go there again. That Proprietor look way to old to be doing a stressful job as that and she looked tired and short of breath.

Outback Steakhouse Food

Your employee that took our delivery order said our food would be at least 50 minute came in 20 minutes to soon to deliver fresh food. Steak was cold overcooked. Our salad's were wilted. This was our first time we ordered into our home and we're very dissapointed.
My grilled shrimp tasted like they had been sitting there not fresh at all.

Sincerely
Ricardo and Adelina Vasquez

Outback Steakhouse Discounts

We love the restaurants associated with Blooming Brands and Outback is our favorite! The disappointing thing is the lack of understanding of your discounts offered to military and seniors. At MULTIPLE Outback restaurants we have been told only one discount is allowed but your website specifically states that we get 10% for military and 10% for AARP (both requiring valid IDs). I now carry around the printout of your website showing same.

It is:

*OFFER VALID THROUGH 12/31/2018. THE MILITARY MATES® 10% OFF DISCOUNT is open to servicemen and women with corresponding state or federal service ID, plus Military Personnel and their immediate family members who have one of the following forms of identification: (a) U.S. Uniformed Services Identification Card, (b) U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, (c) Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), (d) Veterans Organization Card (i.e. American Legion and VFW), (e) DD214 Certificate, (f) Veteran Identification Card (VIC) or, (g) Photograph in U.S. Uniform or wearing U.S. Uniform. Servicemen and women, and Military Personnel and their families with any of the foregoing forms of identification will receive 10% off their entire guest check (excluding alcohol, applicable taxes and including any Dine Rewards™ redemption, AARP® Membership Discount, Bloomin' Monday® or Walkabout Wednesday. No cash value. Void where prohibited by law. EXPIRES 12/31/2018.

Can you pass around to your locations that a customer can receive both a military discount plus the aarp discount?

Outback Steakhouse Food quality/pricing

I understand inflation, but for the amount and quality of the food you get I expect a lot more. I also asked to substitute the sauce and make it a larger container and they wanted $5 more! I could by 2 bottles of Wishbone dressing for that! When I got home they still got my sauce wrong and did not even give me the extra honey mustard I wanted. I do not even live close to the place, but was passing through so I figured I would do curbside and take it home. I do not complain while at restaurants, because of them retaliating and may spit in the food. Even though it seems convenient I would rather just go through a fast food drive thru line where paying extra for a condiment is not expected and they do not get it wrong.

Outback Steakhouse My food

I ordered food on 4/2/18 from curb side take away and when I made it home the ribs were raw. I cut them off the bone and they were bleeding. I returned the food and they told me my money would be refunded to my card the next day and it wasn't. I will never go back there again. The customer service was horrible when I came back to let them know I wanted a refund.

On 4/2/18 I ordered from curb side take away and when I went home my daughter ribs were raw. I cut them off the bone and blood started running out. I called back to the restaurant and they offered to remake the food. I told the manager I wasn't comfortable eating their food and I would return the food and I would like a refund. They told me my money would be refunded the next day on my card but it wasn't.

After receiving raw food from the Southfield location yesterday I will never go there again. I think their customer service should have been better. Since it was their fault my food was raw, but it was like they were upset with me for complaining about my child food being raw. They were unprofessional and never returned my refund to my card.

Outback Steakhouse Food/service/experience

So, I would like to start by saying my family and I went to Outback at least three times a month. They knew our names. We always sat in the same table (booth), and they even joked about renaming the booth for us.

Yesterday, we decided to visit Outback again. When we got there, the restaurant was packed due to construction limiting the patrons to the left side and the bar. We waited to be seated and placed our orders.

The food took a ridiculous amount of time to come out. I'm talking past thirty minutes. My husband and I talked about leaving but we loved the place so much we decide to wait it out. When the food came, my order was wrong, it was half hazardous plated, and it wasn't hot. Again, no worries, we'll just carry on. When I began to fork my broccoli to eat it, I noticed a nice sized roach/big thing on it. It was dead and glazed over with something.

I immediately put my fork and knife down, asked my husband to grab the manager, and proceeded to show this to her, making sure I don't make a fuss for the other patrons. She came over, looked right st it and said, "I don't see anything." I don't know if it was a refusal to accept the roach or what. So I point it out to her and she said "Oh. What is that?" I said "It's not broccoli nor is it steak. It's a bug." She just took the plate l, gave me a short apology, and walked off. My family and I got up and left.

I have pictures.
We will not be going back to Outback.

Outback Steakhouse Dinner/service

Tonight we visited the Bayamón, PR, location where when we arrived for drinks and dinner we were greeted by the discourteous bartender. We basically had to beg to make our order. They tried serving sirloins instead of filets. The whole order was wrong vegetables where gross and when the manager named Jesse cane he looked like some kind of a bouncer, dressed poorly and with a nasty attitude. We where treated terribly and our food was horribly. Terrible service. Then at the end they tried charging us for burgers and things we never even ordered. This people are horrible! Your store will fail and you will lose customers with this kind of treatment. Not to mention that we sat on the bar because they tried to sit us by the door when we got there because they supposedly didn't had enough staff to give us another table even when the establishment didn't have hardly any people. We litterally ended up waiting over an hour for medium rare stakes from an empty restaurant and they still got the order wrong and the food was horrid. Asparagus looked like they had been out of the fridge for a week and then thrown in the freezer and then burnt for a while. Horrible!

Outback Steakhouse Food was horrible

I went to the outback in gastonia and waited 15 mins before anybody came to my car.. my husband got the steak and lobster and I got the sirlion.. this is the first time we have ever ate here. The food was cold I guess because I waited for someone to come to my car when I got it home the steak was so hard and burnt we couldn't even eat it I even upgrade foe the broccoli and cheese I had 1 piece of a broccoli. My husband said I don't know if this is real lobster it don't taste nothing like it I said well I guess we won't eat here no more this was a waste of money we could of ate at Logan's and it would of been alot better and cheaper.. I can't figure out why this place stays so packed out but like I said this was the first time we have ever eaten here and probably will be the last..

Outback Steakhouse Emergency services bill

On January 27, 2016 I was eating at your restaurant at 12120 Lake Underhill - 1049 Orlando, FL - managing partner Melissa Simone's, when I contracted food poisoning. I became violently ill and was in the rear of the restaurant . The manager on duty called for EMS. At no point did I ask for assistance from anyone. Except to please ask my husband, Michael Goldberg, to come back and help me. When EMS arrived I was coherent and stable. Instead of allowing me to simply leave out the back door with my husband, they forced me against my will to get into the ambulance and go to the hospital. Three months later, I started receiving bills for the experience. I finally resolved the issue with the hospital and doctor. However, this bill with the EMS was evidentially not resolved as I thought it had been the last time I spoke with someone at Orange County Fire and Rescue. Therefore, my issue is that since I NEVER asked for the ambulance and voiced my desire to NOT be transported to the hospital; I do not feel obligated to pay for the EMS. In my opinion, since your General Manager made the 911 call against my wishes, you all should bear the responsibility for this bill.

You are full of crap. No one can force you to get into an ambulance against your will if you're at all coherent and reasonable.

Outback Steakhouse Manager service attitude

Unfortunately this is not my first comlaint about this restraunt. On 3-14-18 I visited the store approximately 8:15 pm. At around 8:45pm I went to the restroom and heard the manger Lindsey in a verbal confrontation with one of the employees. It was loud enough for me to hear in the eating area near bar. This is very unprofessional. I've complained about this location before. I was promised gift cards I never received. But it's not about that. It's about the poor service I've recieved there. There is a very pleasant young lady that's a manager and bartender. She's very professional and kind. A real people person. Maybe more employees like this will help.

Outback Steakhouse Management, service, and food

We ate at the Outback restaurant in River City in Jacksonville, Fl. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. We were a party of four adults and one child. We had the worst dining experience at this establishment. We had to wait over twenty minutes to be seated and an additional fifteen minutes for a server. I had to stop a server and ask who was supposed to be helping our table. He forgot to bring us our bread and he took a long time bringing our drinks. He didn't put in our appetizers order and he ended up bringing them after our meal. I asked what was going on with my daughter's child meal and he said sorry he had forgotten to grab it. His service was terrible and disorganized. My adult daughters had their food order incorrect. They asked for medium well steaks but were given medium rare instead. One daughter asked for a side of broccoli which he forgot to add and didn't bring it until she was finished eating. We had a to go order that came with a drink and he never brought it to the table. He refilled my sweet tea with unsweetened tea and after repeated requests for another glass I just gave up. This entire meal was a disaster and I will never dine at that or any other Outback again.

Outback Steakhouse I am writing to provide information on very rude service.

MY family and i on the night of March 11, 2018 went to the Outback in Methuen Mass.We were a party of five and did a call ahead phone call. When we arrived we were given a beeper and told twenty minutes by the Supervisor at the hostess desk.I checked thirty minutes later when i saw a lot of empty large tables available and this very aggravated Supervisor we have to wait for people to leave. When an hour had passed the Supervisor started calling for a Mark party a of five. I have been there over an hour and there are no other partys of five waiting.I said to her how long to we wait for the mark party to appear and she said a half hour.I said to her you told us twenty minutes its over an hour and the Mark party are not hiding in the bathroom. With that she slams the beeper into the cabinet and as she walks away say to the hostess to seat us.This person seems over her head at doing her job and is a liability to the Outback Franchise.

Outback Steakhouse Service and food

My husband and I visited the brandon florida location last saturday evening around 710-830. I ordered a top shelf margarita, whuch tasted like sour mix, that was the first problem. I ordered that alice spring chicken and i know how much it it suppose to be smothered and covered, I order this quite often . My husband ordered the lobster tail and steak special. He ordered it medium and it came to the table burnt. Our waiter was not the person who delivered our food and after receiving our food, our waiter was no where in sight nor was there a manager on the floor. The place was packed and we knew if we waited for the waiter to come and redo our meal that we would be there another hour. so with that said, for the amount of money we spent we expected way more like we do each time we visit outback. we visit the fishhawk location about 2 days a week. We chose the brandon location because it was convenient after a day of shopping. Please get back to me ASAP about this matter.

Outback Steakhouse Manager and service

I visited Outback Steakhouse, Montrose location, 110 Montrose W Ave., Akron, Ohio 44321 on Sunday, February 25th. We had talked with them on Saturday to make them aware of a party of 15 for Sunday afternoon. We called ahead and was told 2:30 would be a good time. We arrived on time and was seated immediately. We had 1 server, which was doing the best he could while waiting on our table, along with several other tables. We sat 30 minutes before our appetizers and drink orders were taken. We got out drinks within 10 mins, it took another 20 minutes before our appetizers arrived. We ordered several appetizers, the cheesy fries were cold and the firecracker shrimp were too hard to bite and chew. We were told that the shrimp we were served wasn't the normal shrimp used for this dish, they had run out of them and used the fried shrimp and it was fried to hard. We asked to speak to the manager, she came and was very rude, we just asked if she could get some help for our waiter because we had a large party and he was doing as well as he could but it was too much and we had been waiting a long time. She said they were short handed, people called off and she left. Didn't try to apologize, acted like we were bothering her. We received our food after 4:30..two hours after arriving. Needless to say several meals were cold and incorrect. We asked for the manager again, she said she couldn't come back over to our table, she was the only manager there. Our waiter was really a nice young man but got caught in the middle with the manager saying she wouldn't talk to us, we could leave, she would comp all the food, just don't touch or take anything from the table. Now, we have eaten at the Outback since it opened and never have ever we experienced nor seen a manager so unprofessional and outward rude. We saw several other workers, at least 4, standing around, laughing at our waiter because he was running to all the tables he had to serve. I believe if they were shorthanded, those standing around should have stepped up to help by cleaning tables, get drinks...working as a team. They didn't hide the fact they were laughing him and all the mistakes that were being made. I had more of a problem with the manager refusing to come back and talk with us. Perhaps she was stressed because she was running around like she didn't know what she was doing. I didn't get her name but she was working at this Montrose store Sunday afternoon. We did just what she said, we got up and left the table...it was horrible and very rude to keep sending message through our waiter. I've eaten at the Outback for many years and this is the first time I've ever filed a complaint. There were times when the service wasn't the best, themanager on duty would come out and apologize and let us know what was going on. I'm not sure what's going on at this location, the past 3 times I've eaten there the kitchen has had major problems. Not sure what's going on, but I felt Zi needed to Past the

Outback Steakhouse Bonus gift cards, st pete tyrone store

I've been buying all my holiday gift cards for my businesses here for years, and enjoying the bonus cards for our family. This year, as always, when I purchased them, I was told yes, they'll be accepted here until 2/28. A week or so ago, the last time we were here, I was told the same thing. Tonight, I was told they will no longer accept them because they no longer have a button for them!

I asked to speak to a manager and Kayla cane out. She was rude and dismissive. She did get permission from one of her bosses (Luke, Karen, or Bryan) to allow me to use these gift cards tonight. But she said no more and I've 2 more left. I explained I will never return as a customer and I'll never buy more gift cards here. She didn't care, she said have a nice day, dismissively.

I can't believe this is how you now do business. Does this store have a new Manager? I've spent a lot of money here but never no more. I won't even come here to use gift cards.

Outback Steakhouse Rude service

Hello myself and my family took my father out for a birthday dinner tonight 2/19/2018 at the Outback Steakhouse on Jericho turnpike in commack ny. I had requested they sing happy birthday to him as they were singing for other customers as well. Not once but twice I had to request this. They never came by then on the way out to pay the bill I mentioned it to the hostess her response was "oh well maybe next year" . That was the rudest inconsiderate thing to say. Especially it was geared towards my father who is 76 years old. Her attitude and demeanor was unacceptable. We have eaten out at outback many times but after this incident I highly doubt we will be going back there again. She was snotty and sarcastic with that remark. Myself and my family felt so bad for my father as he was upset that she spoke like that and laughed about it. Young people like herself definitely do not belong working in a steakhouse as she has no respect for the elders.
