Outback Steakhouse Management and staff

I came in a few days ago and ordered the filet steak and asked for it to be cooked well done. The steak came out and it was basically rare to medium rare. I don't know how it goes from well done to rare, but I was very upset and disgusted by the unprofessionalism of the cooks and staff who tried to handled the situation. On top of that, the wait time for me was ridiculous! Almost 40 minutes to get some [censored] steak I didn't ask for and cold sides! When the manager came out to apologize to me, she was very quick and short with it and didn't seem genuinely apologetic. She had a attitude and then went around the corner to talk about me. These people act like we can't hear their conversations...Management should be replaced and these staff should have detailed, proper training because this restaurant is going to go down in flames. They already have a bad reputation!

Outback Steakhouse My service

I ordered fried shrimp and side of broccoli and cheese. My server Ryan W forgot to bring cocktail sauce so I asked him could he bring me some out. He waited on TWO new tables before he could get the cocktail sauce and of course those two tables didn't know what they were ordering right off So meanwhile while my food got cold. I feel he should've got me straight before he waited on those other two tables. We were there before those other tables. Bad business

Outback Steakhouse Food / customer service

On 3/24/19 my husband and i chose to spend our time and money at outback steakhouse. We ordered 2 beverages, 2 appetizers, and 2 bone in ribeye dinners with several add ons and a side of coconut shrimp. We both were full after eating our appetizers and first sides and therefore asked the waiter to please have our meals to go we would just enjoy them at dinner time since it was only around 1pm. He said it was no problem he would take care of it. Before we left i asked the waiter if he made sure everything was in the bag and he assured us it was. We payed for our bill and left.
We get home (which is a good 20min from restaurant put our bag on the counter, put our pj's on and began watching movies. Around 6pm we decide we are hungery and cant wait to eat our dinner. Upon preparing our meals i notice that my husbands steakhouse mac is not in the bag and now all he has to eat is a steak ( which was cooked medium rare and not medium). I was not pleased and decided to call to speak with a manager. Here is what i was told " we are sorry, you can come up and get your side. " i responded by saying we are not right around the corner, i can come and get his side tommorrow so that he has something to eat with his steak? the manager then stated that he couldnt do that it against policy and he could send us a $10 gift card in the mail to accomindate us.
So you bag our stuff incorrectly, we dont have our items to eat our meal, we offer to get it tommorrow and to accomidate us you tell us "we" have to get in our car and drive up today or we have to wait a week for a gift card in the mail". So you meen to tell me, after we "chose" to eat at your establishment verses numerous other steak houses, spend $100, tipped $20 and have to cook our own steak to make it medium and our order was not correct we are offered a $10 gift card which is really $8.00 because the side that was missing was a $2 upcharge. This is an insult to say the least. And horrible customer service if you want someone to continue to support and refer your business.
We have had numerous poor service in the past at outback with wait times & food preperation and havent eaten here in the last 2 years and decided to give it a try again, since this was a new location. So i now ask you "would you ever return to this restaurant or recommend anyone else to go here" after that kind of experience. Most likely not.

Outback Steakhouse The whole experience

On 2/23/19 two friends and myself entered the restaurant and were seated shortly thereafter. We were given menus... That was the first thing... It was about 1 pm. As I scanned the menu I noticed I could not find their combo lunch listed anywhere on it so I asked the waiter why I did not find it. He stated, "oh, you want the lunch menu? (give me a break it is lunchtime!) so I said yes, since it is lunch time. He comes back with the menu and I and my friends order the combo lunch that was listed @ $10.49, mine was a soup and hamburger. My clam chowder came and then my hamburger, the hamburger was missing 2 ingredients the onion and mayo. Ok so not a big deal I am thinking so I just ate it the way it was. The bill comes and I notice an extra charge beneath the $10.49 price of the meal and asked the waiter what that was for. He tells me that I ordered a premium soup so that would cost extra. I disputed that and he called for the manager. I asked the manager why I had to pay the additional cost and I showed her the place on the menu I ordered from. Her response was the same so I said why doesn't it show on the menu that fact? She opened the menu and pointed to the bottom of the section where it stated premium soups cost more! Ok so why would I read any further seeing what I want to order there is no reason I would continue to read the menu. I stated,"why is there no asterisk (a small star) next to the item I ordered that would show me to continue reading down the page so I would notice there is an extra charge for their clam chowder or as they put it their premium soup?"the manager flipped the page and pointed to the soup menu and it was similarly posted there. So trying to order a combo lunch was like going on a treasure hunt with the lunch menu. Needless to say I was disgusted with the way business is done here, I felt taken advantage of and totally manipulated. First, we get the dinner menu which doesn't show lunch combos, then my hamburger came wrongly made, then I am told I need to fork up extra for the soup I ordered... This was not a good experience! So, I said,"fine, charge me the extra here is my credit card but I will never return here again! So, she decides to take the extra charge off the bill... I said, no just charge me, there is no way I will ever return here anyway (I was thinking of the other problems I had as listed above and felt I would not be dealing with this if I went around the corner to the 99's restaurant) it wasn't the extra cost that bothered me it was the manipulation beginning with getting the dinner menu instead of the lunch menu and all that followed. So no one in the restaurant got a lunch menu at 1 pm in the afternoon and no one realised there was even a lunch menu to begin with! Anyway, I paid the bill and she took off the extra charge and my friends paid their bill. When we got outside my friend looked again at her bill and noticed they never deducted the aarp discount. Just another thorn in my side! I will never go there again... Sick of the manipulations that go on there and will tell everyone I know how outraged I was at having to waste my time dealing with it and my friends will spread the word in the senior center she attends and around town.

Outback Steakhouse Restaurant service

Arrived at 6:30pm at Sanford, Florida location. Plenty of tables and booths available. Was told there was a 20 minute wait. Asked for a manager, no one available. Hostess was worthless. Too many restaurants in this area to put up with CRAP service. So, I walked out and decided to tell my story to the world so others could avoid a restaurant that obviously has no idea was service means.

Outback Steakhouse Service/food

My wife and I brought our daughter here for her birthday 1/18/2019. As well as her sister and my mother in law. It took over an hour to be seated and we were treated as if we were in the way and a bother, rather than welcomed guests. We finally get a table and since my daughter wanted the special she seen on TV. The waitress acted like we were cheap and put her attention elsewhere when I asked about it. So we end up all getting 4 course meals. All the steaks came out wrong. The waitress didn't bother to have them fixed, said the manager was too busy when I asked for one. Forgot to give us the desserts. It was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had! Won't be back!

Outback Steakhouse Food

(this is my second attempt to cast this complaint) my family and I celebrated my mother's 101 birthday at the outback steakhouse in waldorf maryland on january 5 2019. (it was about 14 to 20 of us). I ordered a special which consisted of 2 crab cakes, 1 lobster tail and grilled shrimp. The shrimp were spicy, the crab cakes were not crab cakes the only edible thing was the lobster tail. After speaking to other family members they had similar complaints. I spoke to the manager and his answer was "we get a lot of complaints about the crab cakes". I am so sorry we picked outback for the celebration.

Outback Steakhouse Dine-rewards.com

I went to dinner by myself, for my birthday, at outback steakhouse, # 3917, on january 15, 2019. My bill total was $ 21.18, and I did not receive any rewards. It was outback steakhouse # 3917. This was my first dinner, after I had signed up for the rewards. I even gave my phone number to the waitress, who was leticia b (#441). I checked my reward balance and it was 0. I thought you had to spend $ 20.00? To receive the reward? Not a very nice birthday present. Ticket # (number at very top left of customer copy) is 0116, dining on january 15th at 5:47 pm, svrck: 3. So, kindly let me know what's going on.
Sincerely,
Sylvia sheaffer

Outback Steakhouse Curbside service

I drove up for curbside at OUTBACK within about 3 minutes a girl came out with my bag of food. It totaled 35.18 I proceeded to hand her a $4 dollar coupon that I got in the mail & I showed her a $10 promotional gift card that was on my phone. She then took my coupon, took my phone and my credit card and disappeared for at least 15 minutes. I wait in my car wondering what was going on why is it taking so long, finally I gave a few more minutes then got out of my car & walked in side Outback. As soon as I walked in there was a manager there along with the girl, I said what's going on, the manager then said "oh don't worry we're not doing anything with your credit card" and then the manager said they had trouble doing both the $4 dollar coupon and a $10 promotional card at the same time. Time on the originals receipt was 12:35p when I ordered. I drove up at 1p & signed final receipt at 1:18p.
How is original bill $35.18 & final charge $20.13, I only had a $4. coupon & $10. promotional card off=$14. (Not $15.05 off).
I am upset that they took my phone & then they took over 15 minutes to charge my card, while I sat in my car waiting & my food was getting cold.

Outback Steakhouse Food/service/bathrooms

We have always been loyal customers of our local Outback in Southern Pines NC and have never posted a negative review but felt we needed to today. We visited around 3:30 pm before the real rush time and found the following conditions to not be up to par. First the bathroom facilities were not clean and smelled horrible as well as the paper towel dispensers not working in the men's bathroom. After ordering, we had to ask for bread instead of it being brought to the table automatically, and then when the salads arrived, there were no croutons. We asked a waitress and she said she would bring them and never did. Bread was tough when it was brought out. Hate to see this Outback get run down!

Well, one way to avoid this is to cook your meals at home. It takes one person to get feces all over a public toilet, maybe the restaurant staff didnt know . I shudder imagine the person handling my food is scrubbing toilets and underpaid . I cook my own food and avoid restaurants like the plague .

Outback Steakhouse Baby back ribs and ribeye steak

I ordered a full rack of ribs and my wife ordered a ribeye steak. The manager told me they were out of full rack ribs and all they had were half rack and the manager told me, since they were out he would let me get them for half of what the full rack cost. In which he didn't. He charged me the full price of the of the full rack of ribs. I didn't pick up on it till I got home and was going over my ticket. It was me wife's birthday and she had ordered a ribeye steak medium. It came out very well done and she could not eat it. So the manager finally comes to table and gladly cooks her another steak. It took 25 minutes to get back and by that time I was through. My wife don't weigh but 85 pounds so she was filled up eating baked potato and broccoli. We got her a Togo box. We didn't get eat at the same time. What we had been looking so forward to since we are seniors and don't dine out that much turned out to be a huge disappointment. We live on a fixed income and forty nine dollars is a lot to us.

Outback Steakhouse Product

I made reservations at outback at 1230pm yesterday for 2 people for 730pm. Am a nurse at Venice hospital worked Christmas Eve and now New Years Day night. Was looking forward to a lobster seafood meal we had planned and we were finally seated and order taken by 9pm and was told they are sold out of lobster... So disappointing when you work 13 hour shifts at Venice Hospital and make reservations ahead of time and can not accommodate the doctor I'm dining with and myself who serve the community and give other customers lobster that came in later as we saw that is horrible indecent respect to us. WE
could not even believe our eyes as we saw you serving others and could not accommodate us as we made our reservation earlier and are medical personnel. VERY DISSAPOINTING experience how your restaurant treats doctors and nurses in the community and caters to other customers and states oh we are sold out of lobster!

Outback Steakhouse Curbside to go

We placed our curbside order to go at the Cedar Rapids Iowa location. The resturaunt was very busy, I asked the server if our order was complete to the ticket (with everything in white foam boxes it's hard for me to tell without opening every box.) Upon arriving home 15 minutes later I found it was only about half correct. The list of what was wrong is below:
- no bread
-Cheese fries not served with any ranch
-Bloom petals served w/o any Bloom Sauce
-Kids chicken No drink and had 9 fries in box
-Adult bloom burger had no toppings just a burger and bun in the box nothing it was to have to make it more than a hamburger
-2nd Adult entree was a menu special had incorrect soup, was missing the desert
We called back in asked for the manager to assist in making things right I gave him the list of what was missing he said he would have it sent to the kitchen and asked how long until
I could return to p/u, I explained it would take me 15 min to get there. Upon arriving back at the resturaunt I was greeted and they said they would have the missing items in just a couple minutes (as it should have been since my other food was at home 15 min away getting cold... 25 minutes later I got the recook items). The items delivered to me were still wrong I went thru the bag and had to send her back to the kitchen for items still... she couldn't get it correct which is frustrating. I attempt to be patient with resturaunt and especially ones that are busy...
Ultimately plain and simple, I paid $56.00 and I didn't get my money's worth... The meal would have cost the same if we were in the resturaunt, and serving half of the food then partially fixing it 35 minutes later would have been totally unacceptable. If providing curbside service is part of your business model and you charge the same for that service/food that you charge in the resturaunt then the quality of food and service should be the same or better. I feel we got less than superior quality food or service even with the "re-cook"
This experience changes my opinion of the resturaunt entirely, if the manager would have expressed his apology for the issues to me when I returned that would have been a start, but we shouldnt have paid 56.00 for this meal... I could have gone ally of places in town and got as good or better service.. Outback is a resturaunt we enjoy because it's special to us.

Outback Steakhouse Service

Server-Darryl R

We were seated & took forever to get our drink order, when we received our drinks I asked for Sweet/Low & never got it until I asked another waitress after our food came. I got a salad with my meal & when we received it I had to send back because I went to put salt on it & liquid came from the salt shaker all over my salad so sent that back out & never received it back. Our appetizer came out the same time as our food.
The manager took care of everything but overall the service was horrible

Outback Steakhouse Poor service!

There was long wait for our waitress. After taking our order and waiting at lest 15 + minutes we were able to flag the waitress to again request our drinks. When the drinks finally arrived there was ice in mine which I asked to be delete. After waiting a very long time our main meal was served by our waitress. Then within a few seconds another waiter finally brought us our salads. This is not the way we had planned/ or eat our meas. I do not like eating a salad with my meal thus I didn't finish it. I had asked for A1 steak sauce when ordering my meal. However this didn't come with the meal. I had to ask the waitress again. When I was half way through my side dishes the sauce was served. The food was very good but the wait, timing and repetitive flagging down asking for items that were ordered up front did not make this meal very pleasant. Matter of fact we did not receive the copy of our bill with the survey printed to contact you. We are members of your rewards program and love taking our guests there to eat. This is not way to keep your customers returning.
Location: Outback Steakhouse in Wyomissing, Pa..

PS: The waitress did apologize several times stating that the kitchen people were not following the order she had wrote.

Outback Steakhouse Service

We ordered our appetizer with our drinks shortly after being seated. We where served our salads and waited over 15 minutes before we could get someones attention and let them know we did not have utensils. The appetizer came as we were finishing our meal. I had to ask for it twice. We felt ignored as the waiter paid plenty of attention to a nearby table. This is not the first occurrence of bad service at this location but is certainly the most terrible experience I've had on an anniversary dinner ever.

Outback Steakhouse Product and service

I have family that we only get together twice a year. We decided to have our gathering at your Outback in princeton WV. Started out fine with the appetizer but I had to flag a different waiter after waiting 15 minutes for one of our drinks. He then came back and said they were.out of what my wife ordered. We received.our meals which was so salty we couldn't eat it. All of the meals except 1 was like that and each was different. A young woman came out claiming to be the manager and ask what the problem was. I tried to explain what was going on and that all.but 1 of the meals was unfit to eat. So she said she would reorder the 4 meals which left 1 of us eating by himself or wait and eat it cold. We have been to that place and ate several times without a problem. I dont know what was going on this particular evening but I have to say that this will make me think twice before eating there again. If I am going to pay 160 dollars for a meal I would expect to at least feel like they cared enough to make it right with us being they ruined 1 of the only 2 times per year I get to see those family members.

Outback Steakhouse Rude customers and bartender

Went in to eat dinner with my 8 yr old daughter and like always my daughter headed to the "bar" to sit because this is where we always sit. And rude customers at the bar we're trying to say that a child cannot sit at a "bar"! I clearly told them this is a family restaurant and we can sit anywhere even at the "bar" because it is not illegal in the state of Florida! Then the bartender asked us what we wanted to drink after standing there looking at us like we were aliens or something. Then as she, the bartender is at the other end of the "bar" she was speaking with a guy (customer) about my child sitting at the "bar". Then when she comes back to sit our drinks down she had a bland attitude like, really do I have to wait on you. And so I stated that this is ridiculous how we can't come in a restaurant and feel comfortable to have dinner without being stereo-typed because of where we want to sit! We got up to leave and an assistant manager came up to me and asked to speak to me because I told the guy sitting close to me that if he had a fuc$ing problem with my daughter sitting at the "bar" to say it to me and not when I'm walking away. Then Kathy the manager asked me to come talk to her as she is walking out the door and tells me that she can't have that kind of "language" in her restaurant and I asked her if it was a library, school or church? Because that kind of "language" goes on all over the restaurant and she didn't know what to say of course. Then I leave and go back to ask her name because she of course did nothing to defend us and make us feel welcome, and she acted like she didn't understand my question. Then, stated to me my name is Kathy, and I'm not asking you to leave and I told her yes you did when you walked outside and told me about my "language in her restaurant." I'm not spending my money where I am harassed because my daughter and I want to sit at the "bar" because customers don't believe a child should sit at a "bar" and have management do nothing to correct the misinformation that customers have and the rudeness of the other customers! I know people who have stock in Outback and I will be sure to let them know how "unfamily-friendly" Outback is.

Outback Steakhouse Length of time serving drinks, meals, condiments

On Friday, December 2nd at 6.30pm, our whole family attended the Outback Steakhouse at 8338 Pineville-Matthews Road, Charlotte, NC 28226.

We were a table of thirteen people, there for a birthday celebration.

Being a Friday evening, it was understandably busy, but the length of time we had to wait being served our drinks, appetizers, main meal, condiments and other extras (straws, lemon with one water which never came at all) was totally unacceptable.

All of us had to wait around half an hour before our drinks began to arrive.

We had to wait even longer before any food ordering was taken.

Appetizers eventually started to arrive sporadically, with some of the table finishing their appetizer before others had even been served theirs.

A few main meals were being served before others had received their appetizer.

Some had finished their main meal before others had even received their main meal.

A few people were sitting at the table with no food at all in front of them, while others were eating their main course.

Our Server (S. Devin, Service Clerk 6) was waiting on our table all by himself, with no help.

We never had a visit from the manager to ask us how our food was, how the service was, if everything was ok, etc.

We paid in groups and were again waiting so long for this to be finalized, that we all had our coats on and some of us were standing up at the table waiting to leave.

We arrived at 6.30 and were not finished until around 9pm.

For the total cost as a whole, we were extremely disappointed as we spent most of the time waiting on everything and watching others at our table eat and feel that either a refund or a gift card for us all to return to eat all together next time, would be in order.

My husband's portion of the check for three of us is attached.
