We had a full installation of 13 windows and 2 doors. 1 rear and 1 front composite door.
Catalogue of errors below -
16/1/2018 - Installation very untidy, needed to be cleaned.
3 items identified required attention -
1)Trim around 1 x window needed
2) 2 x screws requiring tightening on 1 window
3) Front door not closing properly - needs slight adjusting
13/3/18 - Engineer visit, No call to arrange time leading to missed visit.
22/5/18 - Engineer visit, attempted adjustment to door with allan key, no other work. Very discriminatory and derogatory attitude to Mrs Bentham.
03/7/18 - Engineer visit, fitted trim and tightened screws, requested re fit of existing door frame.
01/08/18 - Fitting team, arrived, identified destroyed frame unable to fix. Requested further visit to re fit new frame.
21/08/18 - Engineer visit, arrived with only 30 mins allotted time to fit new trim, not fit new frame as required.
24/09/18 - Engineers visit, came with new frame, fitted poorly, left with clear daylight around frame and not weather proof, unable to lock properly. expanding foam gun broke so couldn't finish. Assured that it was sealed adequately. Rubbish and off-cuts all over garden, screws discarded on to next door neighbours' drive way. Expanding foam waste all around garden and outside pavement. Torn wallpaper around door frame requires remedial works
Received email from Tracy Hindle, service manager, where it was agreed what was to happen at the next visit.
18/10/18 - Engineer visit, came to remedy. Arrived with no materials stating that whole new fitting was required including new door and frame. inserted further expanding foam in to cavities around door frame, again not fully weather proof, or secure.
29/10/18 -11.02am - called to inform of re fit date of the 20/12/2018. Not acceptable as door is not secure or weather proof, given the sub zero temperatures presently. We have 3 young children, having to live with this.

Throughout this period of 9 months there were numerous calls made to Safestyle UK to arrange and re arrange visits.

We are seeking compensation for the following -
7 days lost earnings needed to be at the property for the visits.
Damage to wall and wallpaper around door frame.
Contribution to heating bill caused by draft around frame.
Interest refund for door not fitted correctly.
Total refund for door fitting.
