Panera Bread bread with meal

I visit various Panera Bread locations in my area several times each week and have been a loyal rewards member for years. Love the food, especially soups, and the French baguette bread is one of the main reasons I visit so much. Given the random nature of the hand breaking off of french bread pieces I am occasionally given a smaller than usual piece. If I don't have enough bread to finish with my soup I will ask for another piece and, without fail, the cheerful young associate will break off a piece and hand it to me. I only occasionally visit the Panera Bread Cafe #3324 in Jensen Beach, FL, and on June 5, 2018 I was in the vivinity so I stopped in and order a large bowl of soup. I was given a very small piece of French baguette, finished it quickly and asked if I could have another small piece. I was told that I would have to pay $.75 for an additional "side" of French Baguette. I was astounded and told the manager that I am never asked to pay for this at any other Panera Bread location. She told me that this is a "corporate" policy, so I asked how big the extra cost piece would be since the regular pieces are pretty haphazard sizes and she would not answer the question. I paid the $.75 because I wanted to finish my soup with bread, and also have a receipt. The next day I went to another of my local Panera Bread Cafes and ordered soup, then asked for an additional piece of bread and it was cheerfully given to me with no mention of this "corporate policy". I repeated the scenario the day after that at a 3rd Panera Bread Cafe that I frequent, with the same result. I asked the young associate about this "policy" and she looked quite surprised...said she knew nothing about that. At this morning's local Chamber of Commerce meeting I asked if anyone has had any similar experience, as I know most of te members do frequent Panera Bread Cafes. Two other members said they had the same experience weeks ago, and only at the Jensen beach store, but not at others. They both said they no longer go that that cafe. If this is a rogue cafe manager making up "policies" they will be seeing less and less of the loyal Panera Bread members.

Panera Bread terrible service

At the Panera Bread on 2000 Mallory Lane, Franklin, TN on Thursday June 7th, my daughter and I had a terrible experience. For the record we go to this Panera Bread two times a week. I work at Nissan HQ down the street and we use Panera Bread for catering several times a month. We have had issues in the past with this Panera but nothing like what happened today. My daughter was in Volleyball from 8:00am - 12:00. She had another workout session at 1:00. We ordered through the rapid order system at ~ 12:15. At 12:35 we noticed that a lot of people who ordered after us were getting their food. We asked about our order. An employee said the "raped order system" was screwed up but our order would be up soon. We waited until about 12:45 still no order. I went up to a gentleman who was working on the system and told him we couldn't wait anymore. I was expecting them to say that it was just about ready and they would give it to us to go. But they hadn't even started it. So he automatically just refunded my money. He didn't discuss any other option. I said my daughter was very hungry and she had a 1:00 appt. He said what can I fix for you fast? I said what do have that we could quickly get? He of course didn't come up with anything...but, clearly he was upset and annoyed that I was even talking to him about this. My daughter was in tears because we didn't have time to go anywhere else to get lunch. So, we left and my daughter has to wait until 3:00 to eat. We understand that computer issues happen but it was the way it was handled that bothered us the most. The gentleman that we dealt with was rude and disrespectful. As if it was our fault. He didn't even apologize. The focus was more on him and how terrible his day was because of this computer problem. I will never ever allow my department to get catering through Panera (we do training functions so it is typically a large $ amount) and personally my daughter and I will never go to a Panera again. And it's because of the way you made us feel.

Panera Bread lentil quinoa with cage free egg/turkey bacon sandwich

Hello,

My team at I at work always order delivery from the 3205 Washtenaw Avenue store and after 3 orders on seperate occasions we received the lentil quinoa with cage free egg without the egg or only half the egg. I called the manager and let him know this was happening. He agreed he would have a talk with the team and it would not happen again. It happened again on my next order!

Today I ordered rapid pick up for the first time thinking this would fix the issue. I asked the girl who gave me my order that everything was included. When I got home I was missing my turkey bacon sandwich. My team and I are no longer going to this location because of the constant forgetfulness and now we have spent money on nothing.

Panera Bread associate trainer elisa

When i went to check out and order my cashier was an associate trainer named Elisa. She asked me what i wanted in a very rude way and when i asked if they had something/asked for something, she talked back and answered me in an extremely rude way. While she was turning around to get something i think i saw her roll her eyes a little too. I also tried to act nice to her but i just couldn't tolerate it.

Panera Bread proper hygiene

Yesterday, I placed a to-go order at Panera (116 W. Township Line Road, Havertown, PA 19083). While I was waiting for my food around the food prep area, I saw one of the workers sneeze without covering her mouth or using a tissue, etc. It might seem silly to complain about this, but I felt a little bit grossed out. I understand that sometimes you don't have time to react and grab a tissue, but you can at least sneeze into your elbow or something. People who work with and around food should know how to properly conduct themselves when it comes to hygiene.

Panera Bread got my order completely wrong

I initially placed an order for my daughter on the phone I had the person repeat the order back to make sure she got it right and everything was good. The order was ready when I got there, but they had the order completely wrong. They had chicken on the salad even though I ordered it without (my daughter is a vegetarian). They also made her grilled cheese on the wrong bread.

While I was there, I placed an order for my sons. The grilled cheese was done right but the other sandwich was not even close. I ordered a bacon, turkey bravo without tomatoes. What I got was a mystery. It was not on the right bread, and it had some random dressing. They only thing that resembled my original order was that there was turkey and lettuce. Other than that it didn't seem anything like a turkey, bacon bravo.

Very frustrating when we paid over 30.00 for three sandwiches and two out of three were wrong not to mention the salad as well.

We order on 6/5/2018 at 2:39 for both orders. One cost $18.86 and the other a little over $11.00. One order number is 279. I unfortunately don't have the other receipt but it was placed on the same day only just a few minutes earlier. The check order of the one order for my sons is 254379, cashier was Nicole and the last part of my panera # is 98882. The staff was friendly and everything was clean but just not good at reading and fulfilling the order. I would like to be refunded since we had to toss the two sandwiches and salad.

Panera Bread service/product quality

I ordered a peach/blueberry smoothie at Panera today in Cockeysville, MD. Prior to the person making it, I specifically requested it look like the picture, meaning more blueberry than peach. She proceeded to make it and it came out orange. When I said something, she dismissed me and said she used all the blueberries in the container and walked away. In addition to this smoothie, I ordered a large Asian Chicken salad. When I returned to work, I noticed I had two small containers of salad not one. First, I am upset about the total disregard to a customer and their request. Service employees today have no sense of "customer service" and maybe should look for another line of work. (however, management should observe employees and make sure they adhere to proper standards as well.)Second, there should be recipes with correct proportions of each ingredient that these employees should follow. I rely on the "ballpark" calorie count and I am sure if it does not look like what is advertised, then it probably is not the same calorie content or taste.

I am VERY disappointed with my experience and hope there are changes made in training employees. Also in satisfying your customers.

Panera Bread delivery time and service

I (Diane Juthe) placed a $350 order for delivery to Ferrotec (USA) Corporation in Bedford on 6/5/18 between 11:45 am - Noon. It arrived 10 mins early ... fine, but had I known that, I would have been at the office and ready to receive it. Instead, Panera had to wait in the Lobby waiting for assistance. (I arrived back to the office at 11:35, and they had just left.

Additionally, once I laid out the order, there were NO serving utensils, soup spoons, small soup bowls, and too many loaves of bread included in this delivery. Another bag from Panera (with these items) was delivered to Ferrotec 45 minutes later. (by this time the luncheon attendees had finished eating, and their meeting commenced.)

The company's founder (of Japanese origin, now in his 70's) was visiting for a very important meeting here. Not having the necessary utensils for this luncheon was uncomfortably embarrassing, and another Manager and I scrambled to find substitutions for the missing items which should have been included with the initial delivery.

I am requesting that Ferrotec be comp-ed 40% or $140 toward a future order.

Additionally, the online ordering system does not allow the user to easily cancel an order - I believe this should be changed.

Thank you for hearing my Panera complaint for the 6/5/18 order.

Panera Bread broccoli cheddar soup

I just purchased the broccoli cheddar soup less than 30 minutes ago... as i was eating the soup something got stuck on my back tooth, which didnt go along w/ the rest of consistency so I then spit it out. It was this thin clear whitish thing... After seriously observing & finding out the ingredients in the soup, this is not a food. Its some kind of FOREIGN object in my food I paid for... Only God knows what this is, I could have had some kind of reaction to whatever this is!

Panera Bread service

This message is LONG over due! I have had an issue with TWO stores and have been holding back a "complaint" because I don't like complaining. I Just Love Panera Bread food, however at the Douglasville location, I have experienced everything from Extremely long waits, wrong orders the MAJORITY of the time, and bad service. at the north druid hills store, they can not see to get my orders right and I have to learn of it either at the red light or when I get back to work and can not leave back out.
At the Douglasville Location, I would go out of my way to get off on Chapel hill road just to get a sandwich or a pastry... and a lot of times my order is wrong. my schedule is very busy, and I order for my kids as well, so we don't have time to turn around and get it fixed. especially with the LONG wait. sometimes the line is not long, however the wait is still ridiculous. not to mention they are ALWAYS out of something. like the cherry pastry that I went to get, the intercom was not working and I got to the window and their was none. OR the MAC n Cheese that the lady told me they didn't have, "no wait, we have some" and when my son got it was lumpy and dry. between baseball games, I took my whole family to Panera and not only did I have to get my order corrected, but my husband did as well. the manager that day was very nice at the expo line, and I watched him have to speak with the person giving him the food, AND have to speak with the girls taking orders... which reminds me giving the girls my order was like pulling teeth, and when the manager asked the lady to fix my food, she was not happy at all like "we" were the problem. on my telework day going to get a caramel latte, and it being so sour ( I had no clue what that was), and I turned around immediately and went back to the store. they HAD to fix this problem. and again, the manager was very nice and remade my drink, but why do I have to go through this every time? My son's teacher got me a gift card, and said " I know you love Panera Bread so I got you a card, but let me warn you... they are always out of something and you are going to WAIT for whatever it is". And she is right. they NEVER ask if you have a rewards card, so sometimes I forget to collect my points or use my rewards unless I ask them "Can I give you my Panera number please". I can go on and on, but writing this is starting to make me think I am crazy because I am still giving Panera business with there is a lot of food chains on the street close by. I keep going back thinking its going to be better and keep running into the same issue. The Douglasville store is the newest out of the north druid hills store, however it is the WORST one. I can get my order on time at druid hills, they will probably just leave something off my sandwich or give me the wrong salad.
Please talk to some one that can fix this problem. I have my Panera number, so hopefully my orders can be verified ( the ones that actually took my Panera #). I love Panera but it can taste so much better, if the service was better and they made the order as ordered.

Panera Bread dirtiness of plates

Hello, my name is Irina Jury and I eat at Panera regularly. Last time i was there, I got my usual (mac and cheese, bacon turkey bravo etc) and my plates were disgusting and dirty. I have added pictures. There were black specks on the borders, red bits that were not part of my food and green slime all down the plate. I was wondering if I would be able to get reimbursed/a gift card if possible. I eat here often and something like that is unacceptable. My Panera number is [protected]. I was at the Panera on Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. THANK you.

Panera Bread service

I just left Panera and ordered an asain seseme
Salad with extra wonton strips. I went to pick up my order and then they mentioned that they didn't have the wonton strips after I already placed my order. I was upset but ate my salad anyways. I went back up to get a butter for my baguette and then I saw a bunch of wonton strips sitting there. I thought this was poor service in that they didn't tell me that they were out and then I think the right thing would have been to ask if I wanted something else to order or that the wonton strips would be ready soon. I was unhappy leaving Panera and usually love it here.

Panera Bread online ordering

I placed an order originally through paypal at 11:30 am on 6/1/18. At 12:30 I called the restaurant (8200 Transit Road Amherst, NY 14221) to find the status of my order and I was told that they could not find the order and to re-submit it online. Finally, at 1:20pm I received my order. The drinks were mislabled (one was a cafe latte, the other a chai latte, ) and so one of the people that ordered took home the wrong drink (we are all coworkers) and we did not get our proper drinks.

Panera Bread management's bad attitude

This will my third time going to your store located on merchants plaza and being utterly disgusted. Every time I come in They get my order messed up regardless of how many notes the cashiers leave, so today when I order my food I ask the cashier name Drea to please leave a note but to also verberally let them know not to put any vinegar on my food. As she is telling the lady behind the counter she turns around and starts screaming at the lady telling her to talk to another lady cause SHE WANTS HER TO STOP TALKING TO HER... Myself and a few other customers were disgusted and embarrassed for her. I felt bad for her so as I was leaving I felt the need to apologize to her because if it was for my request she wouldn't have been embarrassed like that.. She shook my hand and told me that it was ok and no need for me to apologize and that the manager was just overwhelmed and that she is really a nice lady.. Very graceful she was.. But as I stated before this is the third time I've seen the same manager be rude and disrespectful to the other workers. I hope that someone sits her down and talk to her regarding how she treats the employees there.. I'm not sure of her name but she is a tall white women with short hair and glasses and was wearing a flowered shirt..

Panera Bread overcharge 5 times for an online order

I work for Century Communities as an Office Manager, we use Panera Catering often and order on line individually. Tuesday the 29th I decided to treat my employees to lunch, my assistant ordered on line the total was 70.45 but I was charged an addition 211.35 as my card, was charged 5 times (please see the attached picture of the transactions) and bounced back and forth between the cafe in Norcross and customer service. Initially we spoke to Greg at the Cafe and we were told the charges would be reversed in 24-28 hours. Greg suggested we call customer service at 855-372-6372 for faster resolution, so today 5/31/2018 upon seeing no resolution in my bank account we called the number and spoke with Cody for 25 minutes, very apologetically now after speaking with Jess the manager in customer service manager still 45 minutes later I am being told too bad either wait 30 - 45 days for the refund or get in the car and inconvenience yourself further on my time to go and fix our mess yourself. Sooo disappointed and unhappy will never use panera again. [protected]

Panera Bread drive thru

I went through the drivethru today and picked up 3 meals. 2 Greek salads with no tomatoes and extra dressing and a broccoli cheese soup bread bowl and 3 bags of chips. I did not get extra dressing for the salad and noticed that both of the salads had cucumber on them. They are not a part of the salad. I also did not receive 1 of the 3 bags of chips for sides and did not get a spoon for the soup.

Panera Bread order

I called my order in on Saturday, May 26, to be picked up on Sunday the 27th at 11am. I arrived right at 11 and there was not any orders in the rapid pickup station. I ask and was told that it would be another 19 minutes. What is the point of calling something a day early and it still isn't ready when you come to pick it up? I am only told "sorry" ! This time the girl didn't even acknowledge me she just walked off shrugging her shoulders

Panera Bread rapid pick up order and management

I ordered rapid pickup at the island park ny site and when I opened my bag there was a half eaten sandwich in my bag. The manager just took it away and had a very nasty attitude. There was no silver wear in my bag as well as no chicken in my poppyseed chicken salad. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with my visit today. I order Panera at least once or twice a week and I will not be returning to this store ever again.
