I called them from the yellow pages, based on their advertisement "30 years experience, Local Family Owned and Operated." As a single mom, I needed someone to trust. I had a clogged line. I was told on the phone that it would be $200 if they could use existing cleanout, and $500 additional if no cleanout was available and they needed to remove my toilet. I had a 2" and a 3" cleanout, but the plumber said he needed a 4". He then proceeded to remove my toilet, breaking the flange as well as one of the bolts. Besides the extra flange replacement and bolt replacement, he noticed a tiny leak which needed a $7.00 nut, which he charged me $130. The next day, I found out that the 3" is the standard cleanout size, and I was totally taken advantage of. The manager, James Flynn, made me feel small and stupid when I asked him about the plumber who did this to me. The more I complained to him, the more it became my fault. He was actually cruel. It was an unbelievably bad experience. Pay special attention if they send "Brandon" out to fix your plumbing. I can only assume that commission was his motivation.

I worked with company for years and not once have I ever experience anything like that. I contacted Orange Coast Plumbing and spoke to James regarding this post. What shocked me was with the volume of calls that go through their office, he remembered your call. He explained to me that you were not at your home when the service took place, that you left your father to deal the plumbing issue. That you home did have clean outs that were either the wrong size or non-directional. He stated the reason you are remembered is because you & your ex-husband were arguing in the front yard of your house, your dog ran into the street and was struck by a car. That you left without paying the technician, then later blamed "Brandon" for you dog and again, never paid your bill. Finally, they sued you and you laughed at them because you work for the court system. Finally when it came down to it you lost in court and "probably" were upset at the judgement and wrote your post. It took you about five months from the time the work was completed to your home for you to post this comment, 20 days after judgement was issued. You work for the court system and know that the court is impartial and made the best decision it was given. Either you did not present your evidence very well or you were wrong. Either way you should not be blaming Orange Coast Plumbing. Those are my thoughts on this issue.
