I'am making this complaint owner-operator independent insurance it's a big joke. My truck and trailer was stolen I've did everything they ask police was call with incdent report.They ask for my cell phone and other docments its all about get over on small owner-operator.I have been out of work for over four month I had to pay for me hire attorney. please go some were else

I CALLED TO GET AN INSURANCE QUOTE AND ONE OF THE QUESTIONS WAS IF I WAS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN WHICH I AM BUT I DON'T SEE A REASON FOR THE QUESTION FOR INSURNACE QUOTE. SERIOUSLY, TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
I filed a claim to OOIDA about cargo insurace. My reefer broked .cargo claim was denied, they looking for any excuses to no pay anything .after 8 months they send me a letter we wont able to pay the claim because you used mobile mechanic to fix your reefer. They are scamers, they using lies to collect money from the truckers and then after you filed a claim they wont able to pay anything puting your small bussines in risk .
they are scamers .I will not recomend OOIDA.
I have a bad experience with OOIDA. They are a racial Insurance company and ask the race before giving you an insurance quote and took them over two weeks to get a quote which was a joke as well. $8400 for a safe company and driver who only drove 40k miles last year safely with clean records. The business only made about $10k for the year and they want even more than some of the other real insurance companies. They asked the origin and race and Lorie in the Insurance Dept told me (later they said no Lorie works here but I have recordings) that the underwriters ask that question. Wow what a lie, no constitution or what? Any time we complaint about any thing OOIDA looks the other way and no response.
