I tried this site out to sell a bicycle and had pretty good results with it. This is a more refined version of craiglist, but they have a lower volume of traffic. I am not sure why CL doesn't upgrade their look and feel to something like this site. It is free to post, so just like CL it is a great way to get people to look at what you are selling. I even posted a link on CL to my photos on this site. CL has that sad ability to only upload tiny photos online.

So glad you had these reviews. I almost got scammed buying a Yorkie puppy. They wanted me to send $100 Western Union and pay the rest when the puppy arrived. They asked for my address so I gave them the address of the local police department. OOOOHHHHHH I am so mad! Thank GOD I googled this website. I am so glad I figured it out before it was too late and I was out $100.

Other dogs were chained up with no food or water in sight, and even the horses looked like they were in poor condition. He said he would send all the paperwork for the kitten together with the health certificates and ownership papers. That just didn't seem right to me.

I recently responded to an ad on Oodle to purchase a Bengal kitten in Los Angeles for $300. The owner of the kitten responded to me from ***@gmail.com and advised me that he was located in Crescent City, California and would need to ship the kitten to me. His phone number was ***554 and I would need to pay the transport company $300 to ship the pet. The transport company requested that I send the money via MoneyGram to Joseph Spencer in Maryland, stating that it was the processing center.

The company started texting me from this number ***848, asking for a MoneyGram payment. I requested their website to verify their business was legitimate, and they gave me www.safepettransport.net. Immediately, I saw red flags such as no address listed anywhere on the website, the phone number on the website was not the one contacting me, and they were using a cell phone for business use, not a real 800 number. They were also using a Gmail account instead of a real business email domain.

Their email address is ***@gmail.com, which is another red flag because their email has a different company name and logo than their website. I then questioned the carrier service, asking for documents to prove the kitten was really at their facility ready to ship. I requested a photo of the cat in their care, a receipt of the registration paper the owner supposedly paid $30 for registering the cat with them to ship.

When I questioned the carrier company why they use Gmail instead of a real domain, they said they only use their domain for HTML email, which they had already sent an HTML email from their Gmail, so that was a lie. I told them I would not send MoneyGram because it is not recoverable if this is fraud. They then asked for my credit or debit card information by text along with the last 5 of my SSN. I refused. This is all communication via text with this carrier company.

I contacted the kitten owner by text and said please pick up your kitten, I do not want to work with this carrier company. He said now he is out $30 for registering the pet. Then I requested proof from the carrier company to provide proof of receipt for the registration, including the owner's home address and full name. They sent over an electronic receipt which didn't have a signature that matches the owner's name. It completely looked like fraud.

Then I requested the actual location address for the carrier service, and they refused to answer the question and said I am asking too many questions. Then I replied by email to the carrier company to stop contacting me because I believe it was a scam and not to contact me again. They started to harass me by email.

I texted the owner of the kitten and requested the address where he supposedly dropped off the kitten, and he refused to give me the address and said I should take it up with him. He didn't want to be involved, but he is completely involved in this scam.

So, in conclusion, I am not going to reply to them again. They harassed me by email, and they are a complete scam. I am filing a police report for harassment and for them to leave me alone!

This website is a complete waste of time. I was interested in a motorcycle that was posted by someone named "Sandra D." in Houston, Texas. We exchanged a few emails about the bike, which was being sold for an amazing price. However, "Sandra" then told me that she was in the US Air Force and had been relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii. I asked for a number to call and finalize the deal, but they freaked out and accused me of being a scammer.

I have all the maintenance records. Clear title. For pictures reply me with your email address and make sure you check also your spam/junk/bulk folder because they might go there. Thanks.

Them: It has 3160 miles on it. I've attached some pictures of the bike. It belonged to my husband who died in Afghanistan last year. The price is $2100 with shipping and all the sale fees included. I'm in Honolulu, Hawaii due to my job (I'm an Air Force MSgt. Too) and I have the bike here with me. I can deliver it to your shipping address (I'll pay for the shipping and insurance fees) and I'll agree to let you test and inspect it for 5 days just to be sure. As you can see, this person was extremely angry and defensive when I asked for a number to call. They accused me of being a scammer and used explicit language. I did some research and found that there are many stories like this on the website. It seems like the whole site is just run by scammers.

In conclusion, I would not recommend using this website. The ads need to be monitored better and the site needs to do more to prevent scams. Stay away from Oodle.com.

I read all the reviews before I decided to check out Oodle. I gotta say, I agree with all of them. I was looking for a Yorkie puppy for my son's birthday and I found an ad posted by Melanie Morman and Frank Karl. They said they were in Texas but then suddenly moved to Georgia. They said they were willing to ship the puppy to me for all of my son's birthday money. It sounded kinda fishy but I was desperate to make my son happy.

Then they told me that the shipping company only accepted Money Grams to this guy named Frank. I called the number they gave me and spoke to someone who said they were from UShip Transporters. But I could barely understand what he was saying. As soon as I hung up, I got a text from the seller clarifying what UShip was trying to tell me. It made me wonder if they were standing next to each other.

Luckily, I went to Walmart to send the money and they declined the transaction, telling me it was a scam after reading the email that I had received. I texted the number back telling them what Walmart said but I never got a reply. I'm just glad my son still has his birthday money and we can buy a puppy from a legit source.

These people are criminals and they deserve to be punished. I hope karma catches up to them soon.

i just got done disconnecting my facebook from my oodle account because i hated time line and deleted my facebook so when i go to modify 1 of my posted adds on oodle.com it forces me to log into my just deleted facebook account which is very menacing to deal with

they will discriminate against you if you are not a facebook user or if you do not sign up for their $50 a month service and will suspend you ad and say that you are i violation, when if you read their TOS you are not. Very ### website, do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and DON'T bother with these guys!

Got spammed by them. Tried to contact. NO PHONE number available (obviously too many people would be calling to complain about their spam practices). Tried the e-mail contact and no matter what captcha letters I enter over and over, it doesn't work.
