Omnicity / Poor service

1 United States Review updated: bought our ISP. Our internet used to run great. Now it ***. I called and they blame it on our old ISP. But our old ISP MAINTAINED our network and kept us up. We had 24/7 support and service. This was with, basically a one man show. Now we have a corporation that owns our ISP. They suck! They don't keep us up and they don't get us back up quickly. They are just lazy and don't want to provide the customer service we have been accustomed to. We are changing providers. If Omnicity knew how to run an internet service, they might have kept us. We have been paying for up to 586K and on a good day we get dial up speed. That is pitiful! Just plain pitiful! We wrote to them and asked for faster speed to keep us as a customer. They told us they are providing us the fastest speed they have. I might as well have DIAL UP!!! Except dial up is more reliable and less expensive!!! Can you believe that! We are being suckered by this company and leaving faster than molasses in hates! Bye Bye Omnicity! Bye Bye...

    Omnicity is horrible! We had ND wave until it was purchased by Omnicity. We had WONDERFUL service with ND Wave, great speed and we were totally satisfied. Since Omnicity took over, it has been downhill all the way. I have left several messages asking for help due to the slow or NON-EXISTANT service to no avail. No one has ever called back. We have just now been able to get back online after trying for 2 1/2 DAYS!!! We always paid by the year to get the discount and now we are STUCK with this until March of 2011. DON'T GET THIS PRODUCT!!! They are not listed with the BBB and I am filing complaints with everyone who will yourself if you can! If there are any other companies out there that want to service the rural communities, Indiana is a great place to start!!!
