Omega 2000 Group tankless hotwater heater

I too have purchased a tank-less hot-water heater and I experienced much of the same as these other complaints. George is a crook! Anyone who wishes an another participant in any action against this guy and his company should contact me. Something needs to be done!

I am currently having the same problems these heaters don't work for me and George is no where to be found as far as customer service there is none I don't think that anyone else works at this company.
the phone number doesn't work its another company don't trust these people I am only very sorry I didn't do my homework earlier I am finding out a lot after NY purchase.
what a mistake!
don't be fooled by the price and thay have no local service help for warranty work I had to troubleshoot myself.
I am trying to get a refund from my credit card co

Omega 2000 Group cheap misrepresented junk

He advertises this equipment as being US manufactured when in fact it is low end dangerous chinese.
There are no instructions and the warranty is a sham. George sararu poerated from his mothers garage on a sprint cell phone. He is rude and just a common thief.
He has a f rating with the Los Angeles BBB.
If you google his name the facts are all there to see. If you google earth his factory address and corporate headquarters you will see a desert landscape and a shack behind some low rent housing. Be certain to view the street view.
I hope you have better luck than I did with this Romanian Gypsy thief!

I've bought several Omega Tankless.

George was difficult to reach but always pleasant to speak with when gotten a hold of.
He was introducing the Tankless models to a belligerent & imbecilic Country (USA).
I'm sure he bit off a bit more than he could chew but that doesn't make him a rip-off thief.

All Tankless Items (Even the top-brand) are made-in-China Low-Quality dangerous crap.
You think the Mainland Chinese Manufacturers have anything other in mind?.
Taiwan (Although Chinese) was the manufacturer of GREAT QUALITY Product right after Japan...but guess what? Japan & Taiwan all moved their productions off-shore to Main-Land China.

What does it matter where someone lives or operates their business from?...jeeeze I'm 60 kept up with Technology & am not offended by someone running their business out of a Virtual office., ...it was the thing to do even a decade ago.

What instructions do you need? there's an electrical Colour coded Connection & an In & Out Pipe & the Exhaust Vent pieces only fit on ONE WAY.

All warranty's are a Sham when you need them just like "Insurance"? It's there to protect the Insurance Company's Interest not yours but you won't find out about this until & unless you need them.

I'd sideline your vitriol & discriminatory bias, chief.

I have actually visited George, seen his "warehouse" and done business with him. Though I decided not to pursue further ventures with him, to call him a crook or scam artist is pretty harsh. In my opinion, he is not a particularly adept business man and really under estimates his responsibilitiies and liabilities as a distributor of low cost, imported water heaters (solar and instant). Yes, he over states the virtues of his products and does not appear to understand what is necessary in order for something to be deemed "Made in USA" ... but he is not alone in that department. He is alone in his business, withg no direct emplyees or a distribution network. He is pursuing "the American Dream". He may find that the manner in which he has done so will eventually cause him to loose sleep due to the nightmares of litigation, but in the end, I don't think it will be found that he has broken any significant laws or that he has enough resources to make civil action against him worth anyone's while, except of course the lawyers who encourage this sort of thing.
Generally, you get what you pay for and lthe Buyer Beware concept is well founded.
With that said... I know of at least one Omega LNG Tankless Heater installed and working up here in Alberta that continues to perform, though not quite as well as it might were the intake water warmer and the fixtures upgraded to avoid fluttering (common issue with all tankless heaters in older hmes).

Omega 2000 Group Non conforming product - ripoff

I am a builder in NH, that is currently looking for help in resolving an issue with a manufacturer / reseller in Hemet, CA. The manufacturer, Omega 2000 Group, appears to be nothing more than 1 person, George Sararu. He shipped me product that was not compliant to international or federal laws, and according to the federal code of regulations, by shipping me this product he is in violation of federal law. The products are 3 boilers manufactured in China that are only usable in Europe and not in the United States. He has refused to give me a refund, stating that is isn't illegal to sell anything in the US and I should know better. I have tried to resolve this issue with him, but he has elected to tell me where to go. We are not talking about a few hundred dollars here, he ripped me off for $5800.00 which just may make me bankrupt if I don't figure out a resolve. I have contacted the FTC and BBB, but I'm getting nowhere fast. I can't believe that someone with an "F" rating on the Los Angeles BBB with 28 complaints in the last year alone, and 6 reports on the internet fraud alert, would still be allowed to operate a business.

Sargon, plenty of people have run legitimate businesses out of garages (Dell started in a garage and Gateway in a barn).

The problem isn't where George decides to do business. It's HOW he does business. He's foul mouthed and insulting, not to mention a flat out liar when he boasts on Amazon about his American made products which aren't American at all.

George is a thief! Google this jerk. He is involved in several shady businesses. Google the address of his "corporate headquarters" becertain to look at the street view!

A couple of inconsistencies:
You call yourself a builder but:

Order the wrong gas and then order replacement burners. Unit once modified are illegal to ship over state lines because all the labels are now wrong. You got cut by the builder inspector and ask me for a new set of stickers. That illegal! Now you try everything under the sun to make it my fault and force me in to absorbing your total lack of knowledge.
It took you since August to find out that they are not certified ? You are telling me that you open the units, break the seals and then you see that they are "European standard" ?
If you are the builder you claim you are, you never hear of "universal power supplies" Those units will work on any power system.
In regard to return, units are worthless with wrong burner and only God knows what else you mess up.
Considering that everything you thatched when array, it is no way i will accept those units for refund.
