Omaxe Packers & Movers / Pathetic service, damaged goods, short delivery

My experience with the Omaxe was horrible , In delhi office Mr Goel Ph. [protected], fixed the deal by promising good service, & also i believed in the aggarwal packers & movers, so instead of the higher quotes compared to other I booked through Omaxe only for good service. My goods was picked up on 14th March & I have requested the delivery on 25th March,

On 22 nd march Mr Surender [protected] called & said the goods have received & take the delivery immediately otherwise I have to pay the damage & the transportation charges from the ware house, I sid that the requested date was 25th & I cannot accept before 25th, discuss the issue with delhi office, He said to me that now i will not call u for delivery , U have to follow & call one day before the delivery, I said why there is need to call, u deliver the goods on 25th (Sunday) it will be ok for me.

On 24th I called surrender, he did responded & asked to call on 25th morning by 10.30AM he cannot say anything about the delivery. I called on sunday but the mobile of surrender was not responding till 1PM , & then I called delhi office Mr goel , He assured that the goods will be delivered & i will get call from surrender , but no one called , in the meanwhile i kept trying surrender finally i was able to connect surrender by 2 PM, He said that he did not know anything about the delivery, & gave the another no to call [protected] (Mr sushil gupta), then I called mr sushil gupta, he said that today is sunday & its difficult to get the transport & the labor, but he will try his best, finally my goods was delivered on monday night at 11.50PM, by continuing following up with Sushil, surrender & delhi office [protected]). Only I had to call non of then called back as promised for each call that they will revert with the latest status, Hope u can understand getting delivery at midnight, & before unloading they have taken the balance money tis was ensured as i requested that i will pay, U pls unlod the goods, they started the activity only after getting the bal payment & that also by cash, I requested for the cheque payment but they refused. But initially I was told that You can pay the Bal amount after delivery by cheque, but it was taken cash & that too before delivery. During the delivery they have just dumped the goods in my house & left, no removing of the packing material. Also I was told that the fridge washing M/C & glass Items will be packed in the wooden boxes ,in there ware house for the transportation, that was not done.

Broken goods as below:

Desert cooler body crushed= Rs 9000.0
TV tolly crushed= 1000.0
Sofa Broken (Teak wood) = 17000.00
Centre table (teak wood & glass)broken = Rs 5000.00
2 Plastic chair broken = Rs 700.00
Wooden stool broken = Rs 250.00
Inverter batter damaged = Rs 3000.00
Fridge damaged from side , front & Bottom = 14000.00
Mirror broken = Rs 150.00
Mixer cum grinder broken = Rs 4000.00
Crockery/Utensils broken = Rs 2000.00

Missing Part(Not delivered)= Folding cot Rs 500.00 & if one item is missing I do fear that as the time passes we may find certains other Items missing, because many boxes were damaged & opened,
& I was having no option accepting as it is at the midnight, I tried to call the the concerned person but non of then responded, (sushil. surender, Goel & delhi office)

Also the kitchen grocery Items boxes were damaged & the Rice/Pulses packet were eaten by rats , looks from the small paper cuttings found in the boxes.

    Pathetic service, damaged goods

    Omax Packers - for pathetic and horryfying service:

    I happened to read the above compliant after gone thru a similar type of horror experience from the same set of specimens like Narender Goel, Sk Goel ( phone nos 9811059398, 9999011150). They use the name Agarwal packers, give lots of promises to grab the order and ultimately arm-twist by their unfair means to put us in the most tensed, horrified position so that they can make the most of their businesses and grab the money.

    IS ANY ONE THERE TO SAVE PEOPLE LIKE US ???

    It was agreed that they would take 70% after loading of material and 30%, in cheque, after delivery and re-arranging the goods at the destination to the satisfaction of customer. Toll promises were made about efficient packing, handling and promptness in delivery of material in safe and good condition. The materials were lifted on 30th April, packing was done in all promptness but while making the payment started insisting on 100% payment, so we need to make numerous calls to all but they started talking in different wave length altogether and when the initial discussion were brought to their view, finally agreed to take the part money but insisted on cash payment and promised that you can pay the balance after delivery and re-arrangement at the destination and that too after deducting for the damages/shortages if any. When the materials landed in destination point, the driver of the lorry called me and insisted for cash payment of the balance so that he can come and make delivery and he asked us to provide for labours for unloading and re-arranging. This talk was shocking to us and made scramples of call to one and every one to get the clarity. But the horror story continued as every one uniformly insisted on cash payment before release of lorry from the border check post. Threatening calls started coming that they will dump/discard the material if the payment is not deposited. Finally they sent person to collect the money- only by CASH, who was not ready to give any kind of receipt for the money. One needs to take the risk of paying the money to unknown party that too in cash. Finally after delay for over 10 hours, the lorry reached the location at 2 am, with materials visibly soaked in rain and packets in torn and damaged condition

    My lisst of Broken goods are as follows:

    Terracota stand fully broken (Org cost 2500)
    Glass paintings broken glasses - 250
    Wall clock broken completely- 400
    Wall clock - glass broken- 150
    Cloths damaged to water logging - 500

    Kitchen grocery Items boxes were damaged. There is no way we can get any help

    ANYONE WHO CAN HELP US AND DO NOT TAKE THE SERVICES OF OMAX at all in life!

    Yes i have similar experience too. Really this is a bad name in the Packers Movers Industry. Plz do not take the service of this packers movers.

    Omaxe Packers & Movers - Do not use their services!

    I have shifted my goods from Ghaziabad to Blore, my some items are missing, Most of the Items are damaged & some are fully damaged. They have left no Item without damage, also charged for full insurance, but they did not insured the goods, & now no one is responding, when given call everybody is in meeting.

    Pls do think many times, before using their services, otherwise you will pass the most difficult time.

    I have shifted my house hold from Ghaziabad to B'lore thru Omaxe Packers & movers delhi, all the goods are damaged, Items missing, Charged for full insurance , & now no body is there to contact , the contact person Mr Goel saying, do what ever you want to do, they will not give the claim for the insured goods for the items missing & damaged, horrible service & highly unreliable company,

    dear sir,
    i am disagree reg services of AGARWAL PACKERS AT BHOPAL. manager mr KHARE he is cheater for example fivin following.
    1> he is tacking 100% advanceforpacking, forwarding, insurance, service tax etc.
    2>they are not forward by exclusive truck even not insured when we pay the insurance amount.
    3>i can understand surcharge WHY DON'T BREAF invoice which
    define SERVICE TAX this is again cheating with SERVICE TAX DEPARTMANT.
    OVER ALL THE CONCLUSION IS AGAARWAL PACKERS IS THE BIG DEFALTER WITH RESPECT TO COSTUMER & SERVICE TAX DEPARTMENT

    DEAR SIR,
    BY GETTING SERVICES FROM AGARWAL PACKERS DAMAGE CLAIM IS TOO HIGH .THEIR BEHAVIOUR MR. KHARE AT BHOPAL OFFICE IS NOT GOOD TOO VALGUR.

    We must go to consumer court in such cases, so it will not happen or reduce the chances of happening same with other customers.
    We should go to the police and inform all these so they get some hard words atleast to do better for next time.
    If we keep mum it will keep on happening with someone in regular practice.
