Olive Garden dried fettuccine alfredo

On April 2, 2013 my husband and I had dinner at the olive garden. We weren't pleased with our meal. My husband's fettuccine alfredo was very dry and he didn't like the way it tasted and wouldn't eat it.I complained to the waiter and she brought maybe the manager on that night over to talk to me. I thought maybe the meal would have been deducted from our bill but instead she brought over extra sauce and breadsticks. I wasn't happy with that solution because husband still didn't eat the meal.
We were on vacation but always eat at the olive garden in Poughkeepsie, Albany, and Kingston, ny. This is the first time I've ever complained and I hope it's the last.

Is there anything that can be done about it. Brenda DeCicco

Olive Garden waitress did not ask me for dessert.

My husband, my 13 year old son and my nine year old daughter and I went to your restaurant. I wanted to take some food home for leftovers so I asked for a take out case. My husband and son ordered dessert and the kids menu came with a kid's dessert. My waitress almost left when I told her I wanted a dessert. She thought that I did not want a dessert because I was full. Just wanted to leave some room for dessert. What did I do when this happened.

Did I

a. Start yelling at her for ignoring me.
b. Asked to speak to the manager and tell him to fire her right then and there.
c. put her in front of a firing squad.
d. have her shipped to Iraq to be beheaded
e. demanded a free dessert
f. Demanded a gift card and thrown a fit when I just got free dessert gift card
g. demanded a gift card and complained when it was only $25
h Simply told her nicely that I also want dessert.

I did "h" of course.

You may be wondering why I am posting this review.

Well most of the people would pick either "a" "b" 'e" "f" or "g""(and if they could c or d) but simply acknowledging that you want dessert got the problem solved then and there. I ask you why make a big deal over something that can be easily solve with saying.

"excuse me can I get some dessert too"

I have seen lots of complaints on here that can easily be solved by just doing that.

Well written prodigy of a review. And Yeah I have seen many members of this site do exactly as you are stating rather than choice "h". This just shows you if you do the logical thing you will get your problem solve then and there. Many people who complain would have gotten angry rather than simply being polite.

Olive Garden service

My daughter and I went to have some dinner and the hostess sat us at a table where there was no waiter. We sat there 20 minutes and no one came to the table, I had to ask where is our waiter or waitress. But once we got some service the waiter was very nice, Thing is I'm not sure if I will return to your restaurant because I had to wait so long to be waited one. The people next to us were complaining too. Maybe you should re-train your employees on customer service. Thank You

While I can understand a 20 - 30 min wait to be seated. I asked the hostess if I was skipped by accident seeing how MANY families were seated before mine. I had 3 adults a child and an infant for 5. I was given the response that they were waiting for a table. OK. I waited another 10 min for a 40 min total wait ...when I was originally told 20 mins. Folks I know when the time to complain is...after my wife asked a second time ...we were the annoying customer I am sure...but this is where my real complaint and the reason for this all this lies. We were seated at a table for 4 and were given a sling for the infant right next to...A TABLE THAT SEATED 5 ...THAT HAD 3 FAT ### PEOPLE ALREADY SITTING...THEY CAME IN 20 MIN AFTER WE DID! I AM SO PISSED IT RIUNED MY DINNING EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO OLIVE GARDEN TACOMA. This just happened tonight so I have not had a chance to write managment. And to top it off the heavy set hostess staff were giggling like little school girls...FU

This was the worst Olive Garden experience I have ever had. I've been visiting different olive garden locations...on the east side on indy at washington street, lafeyette, and kokomo. However, i visit the castleton location the most. we always have different servers, and always see different ones working. Every time I see the manager, he never respondes to me or my guest, but talks to every table around us. Our server was horrible. We asked for waters, he brought out iced tea. We ordered our lunches and he brought out salad, bread sticks, and soup for myself. He was gone so quickly that i could not even ask him for an extra side of salad dressing. He avoided all of his tables, including mine, every time he walked by. I waited almost 10 minutes to see him come back, and it was with my entire meal at this point. I was still eating my soup and my guest had not finished her salad yet and he just moved it out of his way and set the plate right in front of me. I went to grab for the soup, that wasnt even half eaten yet, and he asked to take it away. After that, we didnt see him for another 10 minutes and when we did, he came back to ask us how it was and we didnt even give him a response before he walked away. He then came up again after some time and didnt even say anything and refilled my water glass right there, spilling it all down the side and not bothering to clean it up or say anything to either of us while he did so. When he came out and asked us if we had room for dessert, he was already pushing the check in my hand. I told him no and continued to eat my meal. He came back 3 or 4 times within 5 minutes, so I finally gave him the cash to pay for it. When I did, he asked if he needed to bring change back, which I find to be highly rude. He brought our change back, with no receipt. So my guest stood up and waited for him to come back around. When he finally did, he simply asked her, "what do you need?" and she asked for him to give us another receipt. He walked off towards the front...and came back after another few minutes and we watched him pull the original receipt out of the trash, all crumpled up, and gave it right back to us. This was the worst service ever and the manager wasnt even around to make a complaint to, but i highly doubt he would have done anything about it because he has still failed to notice his guests. We come in there weekly, if not, at least once in every two weeks. Its a failure to do good business.

Solution: don't go there. When you keep spending money at establishments that treat you terribly you let them profit from their mistreatment of you! I have not returned since our waitress dropped a chunk on parmesean cheese on the floor, then picked it up, slipped it into the grater and asked if we wanted grated cheese on our food! There must be GOOD resturants in your area that would treat you as if they wanted to please you with good service and good food. Spend your money there.

Big deal; they forgot NAPKINS. Mistakes happen. When you realised they forgot the napkins, why did you not check that everything else was there as well? I really do not think there is a need to be so rude over a simple error.

Also to Margarat...
Did you go for lunch time? Lunch portions are half the size as dinner portions. If this was the problem, we serve dinner portions at lunchtime if you ask for it (as well as lunch portions at dinner time).

And are you honestly going to complain about water spots? It's water. It's not like the silverware was dirty. Do you realize how much silverware we go through in one day? It's not like there is someone eyeballing every piece of silverware for water spots and hand polishing them. Remember... your at the OLIVE GARDEN... it's not a five star restaurant.

We don't serve water unless you ASK for it... with the amount of people who don't drink water, it would be a waste to give out water to everyone if they aren't going to drink it. And if you needed extra napkins... again... WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK YOUR SERVER OR ANY OTHER ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES?

This is what I don't get about the people who complain on this board... everyone seems to complain about things that they never asked their server about... The majority of use are just your average college kid trying to make it by in the world... none of us are mind readers.

You don't have to "write the management"... ask for a manager WHILE YOU ARE THERE. They will comp your meal at BEST and at WORST give you something for free like a dessert and they will usually give you a gift certificate for your next visit.

You never know why the three fat people were sitting at that table... they might have been getting seated somewhere else and then asked the hostess to be seated at the bigger table instead... That happens A LOT and it can really throw off the flow of how customers get seated. But we certainly can't say NO!

Also... infants are ALWAYS given a sling... for SAFETY reasons as well as for convienece.

I am so sorry you had a bad experiance, but next time, please DON'T HESITATE to ask for a manager while you are still at the restaurant. One great thing about the Olive Garden is that the majority of the managers know better than to send a customer home displeased... but we can't help you if we don't know that something is wrong.

And believe me... if there was a 40 minute wait, you were NOT the most annoying customer of the night...

I went out on a date and was completley shocked. The huge plate came to the table with what looked like a tv dinner portion all spread out across the platter as if I was not going to notice that my favorite meal the Tour of Intaly had turned into the Snack of Italy. I left the Olive Garden at 6750 W 95th in Overland Park Ks --still hungry after the meal. At a cost of $39.60 I am ashamed. I had to send back my silverware 2 timesbecause it was water stained- Abigail finally hand washed 2 forks and brought them to the table gleeming oppose to grey and stained from the dishwasher. We did not get water and had to take napkins from the table adjacent to where we were sitting. The manafer tried to look like she had no idea about why we were puzzled with our meal. Here is an idea cut out all the other choices and only serve the best that you have so when customers come they are not short changed. Even the meat was razor thin like a wafer instead of a chicken breast a little juicy. I am 44 years old and have been a patron of the eatery for over 20 years. If I wanted McDonalds I would have went there. No need to dress up Italian fast food with a fancy building named Olive Garden. We are not blind nor stupid. If we have disposable income to eat out we should be treated better than what I have been shown.

So...you hate fat people. We get it. Move on.

Oh, wait, you were complaining about not getting seated for 40 whole minutes - when you didn't have the common sense to make reservations. Wow. Instead of being intelligent and when told you were going to have to wait, did you check for even a second to make sure that your name was put down on the list? Did you even look twice, to see where you might be on the list, especially comparing group sizes?

I've been at a restaurant, told I'd be waiting an hour, was sat in 10 minutes because a ton of 2-person tables opened very quickly. Likewise, I've gone with a larger group like yourself, told we'd be sat in 20 minutes, and waited nearly an hour - not because the staff was incompetent - nor did I begrudge the SMALLER GROUPS that got in before us. Why did I not freak out? Because it took them a while to get enough tables together for my party of 8. I had a good time chatting with my friends and people watching while we waited for our seats. We watched them struggle with where we would be sitting, due to the sheer amount of people who were dallying and whatnot.

It is absolutely mindboggling that pretty skinny ninnys like yourself (since you hate fat people, one can only assume you went to the restaurant to nibble at your salad and say you were full two bites in) don't get how the basic system of a restaurant can seat 3 people before a group of 5 with a child.

Your table size did not open before theirs. That doesn't give you the right to cry about it. Hell, it barely gives you the right to jeer at all the pudgy people who eat at or work at that place.

I hope that manager hung up on you. Seriously.

Olive Garden treated badly

me and my daughter and grand daughter went to olive garden for lunch on 1-16-13 we were seated by 2 women a man and 4 out of control children, we had been there for 40 mnutes was just starting to eat our soup and had to leave or end up in jail because it was handled so poorly by the manager kyle, we were trying to ernjoy our lunch when a little girl reached over the seat to put a sucker in my hair then pulled my hair more than once smacked me in the back of the head and my grand daughter was kicked in the back of the head by a little boy who was standing on his head in the seat then we were continuously kicked in the back through the seat while the parents of these 4 children never corrected them . so we ask to be moved which upset the mother of the children so then we were cursed by the mother and then she flipped soup with a spoon at us and was never asked to leave so we were the ones who left without getting to finish our lunch my opinion if you cant control your children in public keep them at home

Olive Garden poor management

Store managers allow their friends who are servers to come to work with altered states of minds, who then provide poor customer service, and are known among the employees as thieves. YET, instead of taking care of these problems or confronting the non-sober employees, the store managers fire an employee for forgetting to enter a $2 coupon.

Incompetence, ignorance, idiots. That's what's waiting to serve you at the Collegeville, PA Olive Garden !

We went to Ashley Furniture to buy a couch during their "Sale". We did find a couch and were also interested in the chair that matched. We did not know if the chair would fit in the space we haDd, so asked if they would honor the sale price if we came back. (They said we had to come back into the store. Afew day later(our firsy available day to GO to the store)they no longer would honor the sale price for the chair as they said they would. They flat out lied. And it will also take 6 weeks to get our couch delivered although we could of piucked it up in the warehouse the next week?We will never shop there again and plan to tell everyone else the same.

Olive Garden will never eat at olive garden again

Receiving 2-3 spam advertisements daily from Olive Garden. This company doesn't care about their customer's privacy. On top of that, they constantly violate the spam laws. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who breaks the law is a criminal! I will not do business with criminals! By the time I'm finished with Olive Garden, the whole country is going to know what a bunch of jerks all of these people are. On top of everything, I've never seen a clean restroom in any Olive Garden. As far as general cleaniness for the entire Olive Garden chain, I would rate the about a THREE! I'm taking them to court!

Olive Garden food, service, management

My favorite restaurant has been Olive Garden for 6 years now. My husband and I celebrate every special occasion there and always really enjoy the food and the atmosphere. However, tonight we had a much different experience. The OG we went to to tonight was not busy in the least. We were seated, and out waiter was not very attentive. For starters, he messed up our drinks TWICE, brought the wrong dressing for the salad, and when I asked for a second time for the one I wanted, he brought out another container of the same wrong one and instead of handing it to me, he just passed by the table, slid it over, and never made eye contact, as he was talking to guests at another table. I had to catch him, ask yet again for the right dressing, and finally he got it right. Secondly, the breadsticks that we got were so hard that they were flaking and broke off in rock hard chunks. You could taste that they were old and reheated. We asked for new ones, and the new ones were fine. When my husbands appetizer came, it was just as good as it always is, he said, so we thought maybe the meal just had a rocky start and would be fine. But when the server came with the rest of the food, he asked if i wanted more salad and I replied "no, i'm fine", to which he replied "so do you want me to take this or not" in a very aggitated tone of voice. I ignored the tone and told him to take it. When he sat down our food, my husbands was wrong, as it had not only the wrong pasta, but the wrong sauce as well. The waiter was already gone though. My chicken in my chicken parm was very overcooked and my spaghetti was al dente at best. Also, it tasted like the chicken or the sauce had just sat in salt for a week before it made it to the table. Before we got to the restaurant, we were both starving, but after just a bite or two of our meals, neither one of us had much of an appetite for that. Still, we just decided to tell the waiter we didn't care for the food and to bring our check. When we did, he said he'd be right back, and brought over a manager with no check. She said point blank "whats the problem?", to which I replied that the food tasted burned and salty, and it wasn't a problem, we just want our check and to leave. So she said "well, have you ever eaten here before? because i eat that chicken parm every night and it never tastes bad to me". she repeated that she ate that every night about 3 more times throughout the conversation. my husband then said that his also tasted bad and that we weren't going to eat it, we just wanted the check. She went on to say "well, i'll taste the sauce but we don't add salt so its not the food..." implying that the problem was us! As I repeated again that we just wanted our check, she turned around as I was in mid-sentence and said "have a good day" and as i went to ask yet again for the check, she cut me off as she was walking away with her back to me and just said "have a good day". So we sat there, waiting for the check for a few minutes before the waiter came over and said the whole meal was comped. We went to the front and asked to speak to the manager again because we wanted to pay for our food, and she never came up front. Instead, all of the waitresses and hostesses (aside from our own waiter) came over to say how sorry they were. We left with her business card in hand. I can deal with bad food. I can't deal with crappy management. I usually call restaurants comment line afterward to brag on the service or food, but this time, I really think the opposite is called for.

On Sunday evening my friend and I went to Olive Garden for dinner, he called to my attention the comments at the bottom of the menu stating if you have a food allergy please tell your waiter. I told the wait-staff I have an allergy to shellfish! She went to telling me half of your items are cooked on the same grill or fryer with the shrimp. Why? Half of America
Have some form of food allergies. There was not much left, I was so angry, had I been along I would have left your Place of business. I didn't want to stop him from eating so I ordered the braised beef, it was not tasty at all. Shellfish will send me to the hospital.
I will not be returning to the Olive Garden any time soon. Do you people not think of your customers? Why is there not a policy in place for food allergies, I call this food contamination and plan to contact the health department.

Olive Garden awful service, bad food didnt make up left hungry

ive been to olive garden a lot. However, everytime i go to this OG with my family, it always ends up being bad somehow. I actually went to this OG the night before with a friend and it was fine. However, we went the next day with family and it turned out bad again. We went aruond 9:15...first off, they served us cold soup...it was barely warm and basically cold...we got another kind and it was warm but the main one was just cold. My sister in law got her dish and immediately just said it was really bad and returned it--yes she had never had the dish before, but ive never seen her complain in my life...i was surprised-- it must have been really bad for her to complain...my mother's dish too was bad looking and hard pasta, and she had never complained about that dish befoer too. My dish wasnt made right the way I wanted but i didnt feel like complaining so i kind of just kept quiet and didn't really eat it but I was planning on possbily saying something.

After we got more soup and it was cold- then my mother said maybe we should get a manager since nothing was right---and we didnt want to get the waitress in trouble but just hope they could give us hot soup and better meals...the manager however...came to our table---listened and just said he'd comp all our meals...that's it and walked off---huh? we were surprised...i didnt want our meals comped-- i wanted hot soup adn my dish made the right way...i was hungry and obviously they didn't care... then no one returned...we kept saying...where is our soup? we waited and waited---and then my SIL said...well it looks like no ones going to be bringing the soup...the waitress came and then took the cold soups and my pasta dish from the table...we figured she'd bring out our hot meals made correctly...again we didnt want our meals comped we wanted the food we ordered...we waited and waited and then realized--it seems no one is coming to bring us our soups or pasta ? the manager then came back to say that they had no sauce for the pasta dish and apologized...huh? they had no tomato sauce...he said they didnt have 'that' kind of sauce, then said they had no sauce left at all--it was put away-- im thinking BS? its only 10 minutes after close...this is ridiculous...in fact they had just made my SIL's new dish...so thats just not possible...obviously they were lying because they thought they could easily just comp our meals and walk off... like...ok cool you get no food and u can leave hungry...not---hey we'll make it right for you? this was terrible terrible just such bad service...how could they do that? So we thought...ok we'll get our soup right? my SIL asked the mgr if he could give me a voucher so i could get some pasta next time...im thinking...i dont want it next time, i want it now? i came here to eat not get vouchers... i came for soup mostly too...and barely ate any...no one came back to our table to give us a bill, ask us if we wanted anything. Basically we weer treated as freeloaders or 'complaining customers' and yes we did complain but justifiably so and someone should have made our orders right. Cold soup and bad food just doesn't cut it...

Then the mgr came back to give a voucher with an ok sum of money on it---which was nice but again I didn't go there to get a voucher i went there to eat...the service we received was so horrible...just so bad...we were given dirty looks by a bus boy and when my mother asked for her food in a to go box--the one she didnt like the mgr said "u didn tlike it and you want it to go"? what? you didnt charge us however...you also didnt try to make our food right and basically was almost kicking us out...any manager would have made it right and maybe given a discount on the bill...I literally left hungry as all I ate was a bowl of soup and some bread and that's it...they lied and claimed they couldnt get any sauce for the pasta and had no soup left---but then they said "well we have cold soup" so I said ok if you can give me that as i came for the soup? and have eaten nothing now...

..this isn't right...this is really bad service... no one wanted free meals... we wanted our food made right...we left with nothing and a voucher which for me means nothing b/c i rarely go to olive garden...OG is a corporate type place and this kind of service is unacceptable... how can they refuse to make people's dishes right or give hot soup, and instead just say "ok you dont have to pay" and that's it... also my food was taken away and then I ended up eating nothing...they could have at least left the food there so I could haev eaten 'something'... some people might say-- oh u didnt have to pay and you got a voucher? what are you complaining about-- about everything? again i went there to eat and left hungry...and had to wait over an hour for no reason- you dont go to a restaurant to leave hungry...that's not ok? we could have gone to ANY restaurant however we chose olive garden, only to receive a terrible experience... the only person who really ate was one and that's b/c her meal was made right after she complained... my meal was taken away and I had to eat only a bowl of cold soup...absurd...we were also not treated well and almost as if we were trying to get free meals, or not pay or who knows what... the manager did such a bad job...of not making the food right, and just saying "ok im comping that meal and that meal" and walking off-- huh? that's not how managers act in a situation like that.. we waited an extra 30 minutes just for soup and food that wasn't coming and no one even told us it wasn't coming... this is how you treat customers...its horrible...my family members said they are never going back to that OG again and everytime they do go something bad happens there...which is true as I went the night before with a friend and service and everything and food was very good...this OG needs to get their act together and the way the manager behaved was just not acceptable...

catering to you? as long as you are a diner in there its their job to 'cater to you' and make your meals long AFTER close...with OG especially they let people in until close---to the last MINUTE...that means they are serving people and making food well beyond closing time...you can't operate a restaurant and then shut down before people have gotten their food, all their food...or are still in the restaurant...you are stupid... the meal was comped---again for the 100th time...we, especially I wanted Food...nto comped meals and vouchers.. i went there to eat and they didn't make it right...they just took our food away and expected us to walk off---that is unacceptable horrid service-- they also said they were going to bring us soup and other food but never did...they just left us hungry-- the only reason they got the voucher was b/c someone asked them to otehrwise they had no intention of even givnig a voucher---their response to badly made 'old' food and cold food was-- ok your meal is comped, your food is taken away and goodbye...not even that...just walking off with no explanation making us think they were bringing us our food...that isn't the way a manager or resturant should act-- they should make the food right...and give a discount on the bill if anything...no one asked for comped meals, not only did we want our food made correctly, btu they stated they would do so-- and instead, just took the other food away and didn't come back and left us waiting...that's not ok...

Olive Garden rude service person

We love Olive Gardens food but recently had an experience that has turned us away. We are on diets and sometimes like to order just the soup and salad offering. It is on the menu correct, so you would think tht it's acceptable?

We over heard a service person loudly talking to another customer about the money she makes and how people who order soup and salad and then leave a not so great tip bothers her. She was telling this directly to a customer at the bar. The waitress we had was very nice and accomodating, but sorry Olive Garden if you allow your emplotees to behave that way then you will have 2 less customers.

A www, give her a break. Have you ever waited on tables? It's hard work! And for the amount of work needed for unlimited soup and salad the %of tip off the bill probably isn't enough.

Olive Garden very bad service

I decided to take my children out to dinner Aug 29th 2011 and since it would be dead or near dead at that time I knew we would be seated fast and get quick service.Wrong, a very nice woman seated us within 5 minutes but then we waited about 15 minutes with no waitress in site...except for the waitresses taking orders from people who came after us. I told my children that if we didnt get a waitress in 5 minutes we are walking out and we did. That is and will always be my favorite restaraunt but this stuff cannot happen for what we pay for their food. Unacceptable service. I went to Carrabbas where I told them what had just occurred and they waited on me hand and foot. Greater service and I left a phat tip..

Olive Garden allowed child to drink

I dined at your restaurant in Florida and I ordered a beer with my food. I was dining with my 10 year old daughter. I went to the washroom after I had eaten my meal and when I returned I found my daughter drinking my beer. What kind of restaurant allows someone under the age of 21 to drink? I wonder how many employees went past my daughter and did not stop her from drinking. For those of you who don't live in the US the legal age of drinking is 21. My daughter was too young to drink and yet none of the employees who saw her asked her to stop. Just shows you how Olive Garden lacks care and concern about their diners". Sure they ask for ID when a person looks like they are under the age of 21!. However they clearly knew that my daughter was under the age of 21 and should not have drank my beer". This clearly shows that the employees need retraining". We are not talking about a teenager here who could pass for 21 we are talking about a 10 year old girl who clearly looks young.. Someone who isn't even in Junior High?. Why did none of the employees stop her". Clearly I should have enough faith in mankind to do something to stop a child from drinking, . I guess it is not safe for a parent to use the washrrom at Olive Garden

once a waiter at olive garden refused to serve me because i am not exactly pretty...do you see me complainting that the waiteer is sexist? no he is entitled to his opinion //i have self esteem and like myself/ that is my advice / also women have to be good mothers and they can never fail, the father has no responsiblity and neither does the restaurant / it is the mother's responsibility to always watch the child...so you can't blame anyone but yourself. it's the victim's fault or else the fault of teh victim's mother / no one to blame but the victim or the victim's mother / also don't criticize me for not being perfect / i like myself and accept myself with all my faults / i have lots of fautls but afer all no one is perfect

You are a very irresponsible woman leaving your beer on the table in front of a ten-year-old. I agree you are trying to scam the restaurant - no doubt if the waiting staff had taken the beer from your precious child you would have screamed for a lawyer and claimed staff had assaulted your kid. If I'm wrong, and you are for real..did you punish your daughter for her stupid action?

How is it the fault of the restaurant for the ten year old daughter drinking the beer when the ADULT/PARENT with the child is the one whom ordered the beer that SHE WAS DRINKING. Does that person really think THEY ARE ABSORBED OF ALL RESPONSIBILITIES‘. Give me a break. The restaurants didn’t order the beer…you did. It is the parent or parents responsibility to teach their children what the can and cannot are. I mean really give me a break. To expect somebody else to do your job for you… What’s up with that?! REALLY? IT’S CLEAR YOU ARE THE ONE WHOM NEEDS TRAINING NOT THE EMPLOYEE.

It is not the job of the restaurant staff to babysit YOUR child! They evidently didn't notice what she was doing, as they were focused on their tables, like they are supposed to be. If you cannot parent your child, consider placing her with a friend or relative. Failing that, consider foster care.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe a server didn't actually see your daughter drinking? Maybe no server walked by, or maybe all the servers that did pass were carrying plates and food and couldn't see your daughter. It's annoying when parents blame other people for their own child's behavior. Shouldn't you be the one to stop your daughter from drinking by acting a parent and teaching her better?

Olive Garden returned item pepperoni pizza

I have experienced this same error for the third visit at the Olive Garden.
I ordered pepperoni pizza with 4 times pepperoni and when I received it
on 6/12/11 16:20:05 I received it without tomato sauce on the pizza. This is my third experience of this incident. I spoke to the manager on duty she stated, " We don't put tomato sauce on the pizza". I informed her that when I had this same thing happen to me the previous manager's statement was "oh what's a pizza without tomato sauce?" " We fix this right away and they did and they did not charge me for it. But this visit the manager took the pizza back and stated, "We'll make you another one with more sauce". Which never existed. When I received it, it was made without extra pepperoni on it. So she said, " would you like me to have them make you another one?" I said yes. When I received it for the second time it did not have the extra pepperoni, so she took it back and had them do all over again. Mind you that I was there with my children and my grandchildren and two friends to celebrate my daughter in laws birthday. They had been served and had eaten their meals while I was still waiting to be served. My son had got off from work at 8:00 a.m. and played at our church at 11:00 service when it was over we chose your restaurant to celebrate her birthday he was tired and wanted to go home to sleep and we also had a 1month and 1/2 old baby, and a 5 year old with us as a party of 5 adults. The third time the manager bought out the pizza it was burnt around the edges of the crust. She asked me, " with a smirk attitude, "is this ok for you?" I answered I guess so but you see that it's burnt. She did not respond. She said, " I want to make sure you get what you ordered", At this point my appetite was ruined. My hold evening was ruined I could not even enjoy the burnt pizza. If you would like to see a picture of the pizza I can give you a copy of it for I did take a picture of it. When I thought about her saying well you don't have to pay for it. I felt like I had been taken because I came home with a burnt pizza. I know that she would not serve that to her family member or choose to eat that way for herself. I eat here often and as I said this is the third time this has happened to me at this location but the previous managers were apologetic and made me feel that it was a honest mistake. But this manager was doing whatever it took to get me out the door without paying but not satisfied. It is now 10:50 p.m. and I have to go to work but I could not rest because I feel that I have not been treated fairly and there was no apology give for the mistake. All she wanted me to do is leave. So the bottom line was I was sent home with a burnt pizza and all I can remember the manager saying, "Is this ok for you?' At this point my son was trying to get his wife home for a birthday gathering at his home and want to take a nap before they arrived. So I had no choice but to leave when I did. Please help me out, I am feeling very hurt and I don't want to stop going to this Olive Garden. But I could not sleep without getting this off my chest. Our table # was 71, Roxana, D was our waitress, our Id# [protected], the manager's name was Andras Plasztan.
If I have to go another source for satisfaction I will because I feel that I have been violated of my rights.

Olive Garden bad service/bad wine

I went recently for my mothers birthday to have a nice family dinner. We were asked by our waitress if we would like to sample wine and we said yes. She poured us a little and when we tasted it, it tasted like water. We don't know if it was actually water instead of wine, but when we told our server she just shrugged and didnt even offer to change the wine or get another sample for us. Also she failed to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks and never brought us any. To end the bad service, when we told the waitress it was my mothers birthday and we expected her to get a dessert and receive a song from the staff, she didnt get anything. I dont understand why other people got a song for their birthday and my mother didnt. And apart from that we were charged for the dessert! If I would have known that they were going to treat us like this i would have bought a dessert from the grocery store and sang myself instead! When we went to dinner we expected to have a good time, but instead we got a server who just wanted to get us out of there as fast as she could, she had no attention to detail and my mother had an awful birthday dinner due to her rushing.

Do you really think the Olive Garden staff care it is your mother's birthday? Let me tell you they don't, and why should they? Honestly, the birthday song and free cake thing for an ADULT is so irritating. And BTW if you don't want to spring for a $5 dessert for your own mother on her birthday then why the hell should Olive Garden foot the bill for your tightwad ways? Get a life cheapskate.

They charged me for my b-day dessert and didn't sing to me either. I don't think that is something they normally do at Olive Garden. And the wine samples are free, so unless you are planning on buying a glass they usually will give only a small sample. Olive Garden is always extremey busy so the waitress may have had too much to handle with tables. The only thing you can do is contact the manager about your experience there and hopefully left a small tip for the waitress.

Olive Garden refused service

My mother, sister, niece, and her son, and his friend were refused service at the Olive Garden at 47 in Broadway in Wichita Kansas. This happened on Monday May 23. Two groups arrived at Olive Garden separately. The first group was composed of my great nephew and his friends. The second group was my mother, sister, my niece and my ex-brother in law and his wife. The second group arrived about 30 minutes after the first group. The first group had been seated but no one had come to take their order. The second group was seated and a waitress had come, but quickly left. The waitress came back after a few minutes and said that the manager had told her not to take any orders. Both groups of people promptly got up and left. No reason was given as to way service was being withheld.

The appetizers came back cold and chewy and so did your sons? How is it Olive Garden's fault that your sons were cold and chewy?

And yes, if it's "very busy" as you describe it, you're going to wait for your food and for a table that holds six.

What time did you go? Were you given one of those electronic alert devices for when they could seat you? If you waited 45 minutes to be told anything, then that is a valid complaint. If you went during a rush hour and had to wait 45 minutes becaues all tables were full then that is not valid.

However the wait for the food is rather long. You should have refused your cold food or asked for management though. They can't resolve an issue they do not know about.
