Olive Garden olive garden salad

On May 5, 2019, I got a take-out order from Olive Garden, 2789 Miamisburg Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio. I was very disappointed and did complete the online survey. As of today, I have not received a response. I was traveling from Florida to Michigan and decided the soup/salad would work as I could reheat the soup in the hotel room. When I opened the salad, I found three very large chunks of lettuce which were the core of the lettuce and inedible. Needless to say, the salad was tossed. This is not like any salad I have ever had at Olive Garden.

I did take a picture of the salad and hope I can attach it to this comment.

Olive Garden stolen cell phone while in oliver garden at gateway mall

On Saturday afternoon took my mom for her birthday to Oliver Garden Gateway Mall Brooklyn, went to ladies room, left my phone on table after eating and paying the waitress. I return to the table to get my phone and it was not there. I had a lot of memories in this phone all the pictures of my grand children and great grand baby my mom who is 87 year old. All my precious memories stolen and i am at a lost at who would take my phone and not return it. I think there are some dishonest employees working at Oliver Garden. I reported my phone missing to the person who take names at the front of the restaurant and also the two employees who are at the counter and another employee who is i guess a manager. She gave me a piece of paper from a register tape to write my name and phone number which i did and as of Sunday May 5, 2019 I have not receive a phone call. If this happen to me as a customer at oliver garden it can happen to anyone please be aware who are hired at the restaurant. I would appreciate it if someone have my cell phone who work at Oliver Garden its a Samsung S7 that doesn't belong to you please return it to customer service or a manager. I am lost without all my pictures and videos of my babies and mom. I also check with the waitress and the mployees that clean the tables. My name is Odessa White, Home Phone [protected].

Olive Garden ravioli, service.

On Saturday 4/27/2019 my wife and I went to the Midrivers location in St Peters Missouri. We were celebrating our anniversary. The waiter seemed to have an attitude from the start. He took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order. We had just sat down and he seemed aggravated that we were not ready yet. After we ordered they brought our salad and soup. I was finishing my soup when the main course was served. he took my soup bowl and did not ask if I wanted another bowl. He also took my wife's salad bowl before she was done with it. My wife's ravioli was dry and did not taste fresh. The waiter kept coming to the table and grabbing dishes from the table and was reaching in front of us while we were trying to eat. He seemed like he just wanted us to finish and leave. We noticed a new dessert on the menu that we were going to order but the waiter brought us our check and said we could either pay at the table or pay him and then left quickly. At that point we were done with the whole experience. We did not order dessert instead we went somewhere else and got dessert. We eat at Olive Garden often but that maybe our last visit. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening was ruined by your waiter. The Waiters name was I think JP. The store number is 1160, we were at table 70, it was about 5:00 PM when we arrived. Our check # 828640. If you would like to contact me my phone number is [protected].

Olive Garden chicken alfredo

A week ago, April12, 2019, I drove down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the funeral of one of my beat friends, Since my husband wasn't with me I decided to treat myself to Olive Garden. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. After it was served and I began yo eat I noticed a large piece of pasta was not fully cooked. (I was approximately 3-4 pieces about 4-5 inched in length, ) It took me several minutes to get my server's attention. When she came over I showed it to her and said, "This is not exceptable." She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said yes. He came over, I showed him the partially cooked pasta. He said that he had never seen that before. I asked if there was someone in the kitchen that checked the food before it was served. He didn't answer. He just stood there. Yes I had eaten most of the chicken and what pasta that was edible since I hadn't eaten since 4 that morning. I assumed that he would have at least offered me 10 0r 15 % off my bill but he didn't/ So I paid the bill left a nice tip for the server. I came back to Jackson and was not going to file a complaint; however, the more I thought about it I changed my mind. I would hate to see this happen to another patron. I stopped at Olive Garden because it is my favorite but after this incident I don't know if I will ever go back.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure I fully agree with SubSquirrel's assessment. Darden Restaurants have expediters incorporated at the back-of-the-house to insure that food meets their quality standards - is prepared correctly, is appetizing in appearance, and leaves the kitchen correctly and hot. It is a part of their training to inspect each plate before it leaves the kitchen. Salads and breadsticks are non-expedited items which are prepared by the table's server and bypass the expediter.

That said, it's not reasonable that the expediter could sift through each bowl/plate of pasta to inspect each noodle...inevitably, a rogue noodle will slip through to the table.

On a broader commentary, the server is ultimately responsible for the product and manner (overall experience) delivered to each guest. The server should make a final inspection of each plate that leaves the kitchen to determine if it should be delivered to the guest (or not), as the server's livelihood is predicated upon the guests' overall satisfaction (tip).

Based on the particulars of your experience, (IMO) your complaint in and of itself does not warrant a concession (discount, comp). Only you can decide if this one noodle anomaly warrants your avoiding this restaurant going forward.

Olive Garden waiter

First of all the waiter got my order wrong, I ask for scampy shrimp classic because it was for my 7 yr old granddaughter and he brought the spicy, by the time I notice the baby had already eaten almost half and did not want to say anything because she did not want to get me upset, I realized when she was asking for refills, I waited for the waiter to come for like 7 min and ask to please bring us a refill, waited another 7 to eight minutes and he came to the table, ask me if there was anything I wanted than he said oh yeah your drinks and left came back and he saw that the scampi shrimp was on my plate and made a comment, (oh she did not like it, he said) I said not so much, I as k for the classic but you brought me spicy, he just ignore me. Than he sat this 2 nice ladies next to us and brought them a different napkins (the yellow cloth ones) and my mother said why didn't he brings us the same napkins, she felt discrimination and just stop eating completely, she just went to the restroom and when she came back she said let's go, so I waited for the waiter and ask for boxes and my bill, I ask him to please let me get some garlic bread to go and he said ok, do I pay for the bill and waited for him to come but my got up and said let's go, do I got up and the waiter saw me coming out, went back a few steps to get some chocolates and when we met while walking out he gave me some chocolates and said that the bread was in oven and had it to wait, I just told him naaa it's ok, no problem. But I was really upset that my mom had experience that, and I even gave him a 10% tip.
My mom was upset and I was disappointed, because it was my 2nd time. And my mom is a picky eater but the first time I took her she loved it, everything was so awesome then, but this got her so mad.
My mom is a cancer survivor and I tried my best to make her happy and please her some how but today, I just can't believe this happen. the first time I spent 130 and love it, did not anyone made us feel like we did not belong there. It was the opposite and we come from Korea Town.
But today I felt like he saw us like we did not belong there.
Therefore I will not be coming back.
Thank you but no thank you, I rather stay home and not have my family experience this ever again.
Sincerely
Monica Trejo. [protected]

Waiting seven or eight minutes for refills in a busy restaurant is not that long of a wait. they world does not revolve around you and the waiter probably had more than one table to tend to. Also how is it "discrimination" for not sending you the same napkins at the other people? If you would rather stay at home then stay at home. That way you don't embarrass your family and mistreat others.

Olive Garden no service

We were seated at a table at 8:25pm. After waiting for 15 minutes, we went to the front host to complain that we had no server. We did not even get water. The host just looked at us and said nothing. We went back to the table, called a server over and asked to speak to the manager. The server left and after waiting another 5 minutes, we left as we were being totally ignored. As we were leaving we noticed several servers standing in the kitchen area that look as if they were not attentive to their customers. No one spoke to us or asked us if everything was okay. This was the worst experience that we had with Iluve Garden.

Olive Garden waitress

Courtney, our waitress on 4/8 19 spent most of her time standing and talking with a friend (seated behind us) . She never offered us a wine sample. Never told us about the specials. I asked about the stuffed shells and of course she didn't know anything about them. I asked her to bring out the Mozzarella sticks we ordered before the main course. Took her forever to bring out the salad and bread sticks. Other customers who came in after us already had theirs. We finally got our main course and NO Mozzarella sticks, ever. I told her to forget them. I'm sure she forgot to order them. I asked her to help me use the machine to pay, I got all the way to "print a receipt", it wouldn't print one and she said it would print after the survey. That didn't happen. I had to get her to go in the back to get me a receipt. What a terrible experience. Awful service. Won't be going back very soon

Olive Garden product and service

Hello,
Me and my son went to the Olive Garden in Castleton IN on 4/2/19 and was treated like crap. The waitress was rude when I told her that the soup I had wasn't good, she just took the soup didn't offer another type of soup or nothing. The food was very bland, I barely ate my food and neither did my son. WHen I asked for a different soup she acted like she didn't want to give me any. The second soup was even worse. Not sure, maybe it was just an off day for the staff. But we were highly disappointed in our food and Treatment. Do better Olive Garden.

Olive Garden restaurant atmosphere

We frequently visit this olive garden location... Approximately 4 to 5 times per month. The last couple of months or so we've noticed the restaurant doesn't operate as smoothly as it did with the previous manager. There are nights when rooms are closed and there are lots of people up front waiting to be seated and they are told it is a 30+ minute wait... They are either over staffed or under staffed... Seems more chaotic than normal...
We are just concerned patron's... Thank you for your time...

Olive Garden removing menu item

Discovered you AGAIN took the Braised Beef Tortelloni off your menu. That is our favorite and what we order Every visit. I rarely eat meat but Love the braised beef! Nothing else on your menu was as exceptional for us. We tried other items but Always went back to the Braised Beef Tortelloni. We stopped going to Olive Garden when you 1st took the Braised Beef Tortelloni off the menu and started going back when it returned. One manager told us she had a lot of people complain when it was removed and was one of the top sellers! SO, that being said, why take away a top seller? You keep plain old spaghetti and lasagna forever that are nothing different than at home so it's a huge disappointment that we will AGAIN Not be visiting Olive Garden.

Olive Garden terrible service, not clean

Hello my name is Sheila Robinson, My husband Gary and I went to the olive garden in Dearborn Michigan on ford road 03/27/2019. we visit olive garden at least once a month and most of the time we go to the Middlebelt Livonia area, but we had shopping to do so we ended up at the Dearborn location, it was terrible from the time we walked in they made us wait for a seat when there were clearly no one there, then we were seated my husband had to send his silverware back 3 times because it was nasty with food then we ordered unlimited soup and salad our soup was not hot at all the salad only looked as if they only had lettuce in there, it was loud people were playing music from the other tables, the waitress came back only brought us 1 breadstick at a Time my whole experience makes me not wanna come back to olive garden which used to be one of my favorite places then to top it off they charged us for something we didn't even asked for and had to have them take it off the bill, made my day off a total waste. I think I need to be compensated for my bad experience

Olive Garden service from front desk and manage

I had a call ahead for 7 at the Olive Garden Weslaco Texas. When my got to the location I went up to the front and explain that I had a call ahead. Unfortunately, they did not put my name down they forgot to. So my party had to wait 45 minutes, even though they said 30 minutes. When 45 minutes hit we asked when we were going to be sorted because everyone who was coming was getting seated first. They weren't going to sit until my husband and mother in law confronted them about what we have seen. They were making excuses and stories that didn't make any sense. My husband raised his voice and was furious. They sat my party down and the manager Sandra came to our table loudly and said so who was the one yelling to my front people. Everyone was looking at us, and my husband told her that he did. Then she was just being so ugly and unprofessional. I have never been to a restraunt that was that bad. My party just wanted to celebrate a birthday and cancer free congratulations. It was just so horrible that this happened to us and I am hoping you will fix the problem and hire professional employees. THEY RUINED OUR NIGHT. I will no longer be going to the Olive Garden in Weslaco Texas.

You ate the chicken so what is the issue? I can understand asking for a discount. But you did not even give them a chance to correct the issue. That is if you are not lying about the food being cold in the first place. Obviously you you have no shame. A normal person with morals and values would be ashamed to ask for a full refund on food that they consumed. I don't know why you have such low standards. DId your parents raise you this way? Or are you just like this yourself? You have no shame. So tell me how did you get the money to pay for your meal? Did you beg on the streets with some BS story about how you are a single mother with four kids to support after leaving your husband who abused you?

Olive Garden quality of food

We dined here last night in Prescott AZ and before we left payed for a slice of cheesecake Togo home with us. We got home and when we went to eat it it was awful like it was past it's expire date. We tossed it out. The time before that we had a issue with another Togo order of a different cake it was cut like so small and all falling apart in our box when we got home. We really are very disappointed in the quality of the deserts lately . And pay like 7.00 a slice. My email is [protected]@gmail.com, my name is Gidget Trainor

Olive Garden service - table 62

Today, 2/8/2019, my husband and I, my daughter and grandson and a good friend of ours that was visiting from out of town, went to this Olive Garden for lunch (around 1:20 when we were seated). Three of us ordered the All You Can Eat - Soup, Salad & Breadsticks and one ordered the Alfredo Pasta and All You Can Eat Soup & Breadsticks and a Ice Cream Sundae for my grandson. Well, our waiter took a Long Time to ever come to our table. When he did, he took our order and said "I will be Right Back with your Salad, Drinks, & Breadsticks...15-20 mins later, he showed up and I said...jokingly with a smile, "We thought you forgot us" and he just chuckled. No apologies, nothing. We had specifically ask for No lemon in our drinks, but there was one inside anyway. Didn't want to ask for a new one because it took so long to get the first. First downfall. Well, since my friend didn't order salad, she was left with nothing to eat but breadsticks while we started on our salads...another 10-15 mins passed and he came back with her pasta. I asked about our soup that we still hadn't received? His response...Every Time...Oh, yeah, right...you got the...I'll bring that right out...not. Well, this happened Every time we needed something. It took over 30+ minutes for us to get our salad refilled (and with 3 people eating salad, that's one serving each), took 10-15 minutes after the first bowl of salad for us to get our First bowl of soup and forever to get breadsticks refilled. Lets not even discuss getting our drinks refilled! Oh, and the ice cream sundae...well, he totally forgot that. After about 40 mins, when he returned again, we ask, where's the ice cream?...again...Oh, yeah, their making that now. Really? It was supposed to come out when we got our food because that was all he was eating. It was Excuse after Excuse as we wondered when our All You Can Eat meal was coming? After asking 3x's, my daughter and I still never received a 2nd bowl of soup until we were tired of waiting and were ready to leave, so it was wasted. Needless to say, we were all Highly disappointed with the service we recieved there today and the lack of food that we received for what we paid for. Although our waiter was polite, he seemed to either not be trained well in service or he was highly distracted by other things. We were seated in a cove and it looked like that was the only place he was serving and with only one other couple in there with us, we didn't understand the hold up. As we were paying at our table to leave, 2 ladies had been seated next to us. We watched as they were talking to each other about how the waiter still hadn't been to their table to take their order after quite some time. I love Olive Garden food, but if this is the kind of service we can expect, then we will find other places to dine. I am requesting a refund of $28.23 which was the cost of myself, husband and daughters food. My friend paid separately. Thank you for considering my request.

" I said...jokingly with a smile, "We thought you forgot us"" That's not joking, that's some passive-aggressive [censored] behavior right there. And expecting a full refund after you ate all the food? Get over yourself.

Olive Garden price/selection

Brand new to Twin Falls Idaho we finally got in without much of a wait. Very disappointed with the lunch menu, we paid $45 for two entrees and one appetizer. We were not offered unlimited salad or breadsticks. We felt hurried and rushed to pay our bill so the table could be free. We will continue to serve the two other Italian Restaurants that are already established here.

Olive Garden treatment

On Saturday, February 2nd, around closing time, I was having dinner at Olive Garden when I was very disappointed in how staff was being treated as well as over hearing the customers complianing when they walked away. This one waitress was doing her best to fulfill their needs and they were rude to her every chance they had. This was a group of 6-8. They had ordered meals that could get refills. Every time they needed refills, she put the order in and they would keep getting on her for taking to long. She tried to explain to them that she was waiting for the meals to be cooked and would help them with drinks and such. They even walked outside and when they came back in made it loud and clear that they were being treated badly and that their food was taking to long. I believe that they had their orders filled 2 maybe even 3 times in this time period. I even over heard them telling a manager that their son had Autism and that he deserved his meal for free. Toward the end of the evening, when paying for their bill, the waitress went to go ring everything up to be paid, and at this time I overheard them say how easy it is to make compliants to corperate and get gift cards to have their meals for free, and they are doing it again. I also heard a couple of them say lets get out of here before she gets back. At this time, I got up from my table and went outside, because I was going to get there license plate number if they were ditching the bill. I was able to get the photo, then walked back in and waited for the rest to leave, making sure that all was paid correctly. Against my better judgement I did walk over to their table and get a name that was signed on the bill. Her name was Susan Sharadin, and yes I did report it as well to the manager on duty. I wanted them to know that the waitress was not at fault during this whole situation.
