Olive Garden service

I placed a carry out order for 1 appetizer and 4 desserts at 3pm. Was told to pick up at 3:20. I called after arriving, and was told to pull to the appropriate parking. I said I'm sitting by a sign that says to go parking. She said she'd let them know. It's now 3:43. Parking lot is empty. I'm gonna walk inside now and get my food. As I'm quite certain it's now cold. Why offer this service?

Really? In 23 minutes you couldn't call back or walk your lazy [censor] into the restaurant to get your food?

Olive Garden unethical behavior

I did my order online, at the time of the pick up my order was not ready and on top of that the order was wrong. When I requested a refund, I was told that refunds with credit cards are not done immediately, that I should wait 3 business day. The attendant makes me wait more than 30 minutes to speak to a supervisor. I kindly told the supervisor that I did not mind waiting but how I'm supposed to have a prove that I returned the food if I don't get a receipt of return. He was very disrespectful and aggressive to the point in which he threatens to call the police because I told him I was not leaving the place without a prove of return. At the end all I received was a business card hand written in the back stating I will get a refund in 3-5 business day. The manager name is Courtney James from Olive Garden at Elmhurst Queens. After this experience I will never buy in any Olive Garden restaurant ever again.

Olive Garden reservations

I looked on the webpage to join the waiting list and it said please call for 6 or more. I called to get out on the list foe me my husband and my 4 kids and I was told she has to speak with the manager. I was then told that I had to come in person to get out on the list that they do not make reservations over the phone. What is the point of having the join the lost option if my family is unable to use it? They need to correct their page and say we don't not accept reservations. I am very upset and I will not do business with this company again

Olive Garden online to go order

I ordered food to go i got an email confirmation of my to go order the order pick up time was almost an hour after my order. I get to an extremely packed olive garden they have no record of my food or of my order. I showed them my email conformation they confirmed everything was correct. And told me I would have to wait for them to just put in my order in a packed restaurant with likely another 40 minute wait. It's Valentine's day I am trying to get home to my family and this was ridiculous. I am very disappointed and feel this should be made right. [protected]

Olive Garden food and beverage

I had an absolutely disgusting experience ait Olive garden this weekend.

After waiting an eternity to be seated, we received one of the worst services I ever had, in a restaurant.

The moment we sat down the waitress was impatient, rushing us to order. Even as we took our coats off, we scanned the children's menu and asked for an entree and side items. The waitress immediately scoffed at us, telling us that we could not have it.

My wife looked at me perplexed, unsure if she was reading the menu correctly. She asked again and the waitress argued that she had been there for over a year and no one had ever ordered that combination before so therefore we could not have it.

Frustrated and confused we chose an alternate option for the kids. We asked for more time for ourselves but requested to have the kids food made first. She brought out bread sticks and didn't offer any plates to eat them on. She brought drink but never came back to refills any if them. I asked again for plates and about fifteen minutes later she remembered them after I had asked a third time and resorted to using handkerchiefs that wrapped the silverware.

As I ordered a moscow mule drink for myself from the menu she interrupted. "What's that? We don't make those..." This happened right after the guy behind me asked for the same thing ( and even recommended it to me.)

When the kids were almost done eating, she came out with our first and only serving of "unlimited salad". After close to 45 minutes and after the kids had eaten their fill, the waitress informed is that our food was
ready but needed to be placed on plates and it was too crowded. Soon after, the manager came to apologize that the appetizer we ordered was no longer available.

Frustrated and starved at this point, I started looking for the hidden cameras convinced that I was being pranked. I asked her to bring the bill so that I could go home. She asked if everything was OK? As I explained my evening, her hands started shaking as she gasped in horror...she apologized profusely, covered the kids bill and sent us home with soup, salad, and... Bread Sticks.

I don't go out to eat often anymore due to my school and work schedule so this was supposed to be a special evening with the wife and kids. Time and money are precious to me and when someone wastes it, you can never get them back. So is trust and respect.
This wasn't at all a great and memorable experience but is one I won't quickly forget.

Olive Garden rude staff and poor management

Went to the Ramsey, NJ location on 2-9-2018 and I will not be returning. I was given attitude by staff member Skylar when I asked for a highchair. I had to walk from the table with my son in my chairs to go ask for a highchair since no one brought us one. She said "they are getting it" with attitude. I said no actually they said "she can't have one at that table" after we wait 30 minutes for a table and requested a highchair. The girl standing next to her said just give her one and Skylar rolled her eyes and walked to get one. Our waitress Rosa P was unfriendly. Once we were leaving I had my son in my arms and Skylar hit the back of my leg with the highchair and I said "you just hit me" she said sorry while still walking. I went up to her while she was standing next three the manger Monquie and said "is there a problem?" She said "I already said sorry". She looked at her manager and she "I tapped the back of her leg." I said "I had my son in my arms you hit me and never looked at me when you apologized". She turned to her manager and huffed and rolled her eyes to which all the manger did was tell her to go to the back. I was assaulted by a staff member and the manger did nothing but say"there's nothing I can do about this but apologize." I'm pregnant and I was walking out with my son and was hit and that's all she could do?!

Olive Garden food

My family and I went to Olive Garden in Colonie NY on 2/10/18. The food was awful! My pasta was hard, my chicken over cooked, there was a hair in my daughters grapes and when I mentioned it to the waiter he apologized but did not bring her any new grapes or offer her a substitute. The food was all around bad. For the price of your menu it should be much more edible

Olive Garden workers talking about an affair

My family and i were eating dinner when a worker busser maybe and a manager were talking about their GM having an affair with his manager, and how he cant do his job anymore. It was appaling to hear this with my kids during dinner. I suggest your workers and managers show a little more respect to their coworkers and to those eating. We visit the Verron Hills and Schaumburg Olive Garden often. After this experience, we will no longer be going to either location.

Olive Garden roach in my daughter's food

I was at the olive garden on 19 in port richey fl. My 5year daughter was eating her meal and her grapes. She got to the bottom of her grape dish and there was a live roach moving around. When the manager came out Mr Anderson his response was oh well we spray every two weeks and bugs tend to come out. WHAT REALLY! that's all you can say. That's horrible and I'll never go back to that olive garden again

Olive Garden bad dine in experience

My family and I went to olive garden in Columbia, MO for dinner on 1/25/18, we were not happy with the experience at all. So we were sat down at our table, the waiter took our drink orders which was no problem. Then we had ordered Calamari for appetizers. It took a while for the calamari to come, and when it did it was such a small portion that we've never seen before. Other olive garden locations gave a much bigger portion and we were expecting the same amount, but it was not. And we paid 10$ for it too, we even complained to the waiter why the portion is so small and that we are paying 10$ for this and he said he's not sure. He didn't do anything about it. Then he took our orders and I ordered my dinner entree and the soup that comes with it, same did my husband. Well we got our entrees but never got the soup, had to remind the waiter twice that we were waiting for our soup since the soup we usually give to my daughter. then he finally brought it when we were half ways done with our dinner. We had asked for extra bread sticks because throughout the whole dinner we only received one basket, the waiter apologized and said that they are a bit slow on the bread sticks, we never got the bread sticks. Then I had asked for a salad refill, never got that either. Then I had asked if we can get bread sticks to go and he said he'll see what he can do, never got them. So then he brought us our check and we paid 50$ (including tip) and we left a bit hungry. This was our first time stopping in at this olive garden location and we were not satisfied and felt like we just wasted our money. I am not sure that I will want to go to another olive garden location to dine in. If possible, I would like to request a refund. Thank you.

Olive Garden eggplant parmesan /slow service

My family and I went to Olive Garden on 2/1/18. I originally ordered the shrimp scampi, but returned it because the noodles were over done and the flavor was bland. I exchanged it for an eggplant parmesan, but was unable to eat it in the restaurant because it took 30 minutes plus to come out and my kids were getting antsy. I attempted to eat the eggplant parmesan the following day at work, but found a hair in my food between the cheese and eggplant. I haven't been to Olive Garden in a while and am very disappointed in my experience.

Olive Garden manager

I'm an employee who was extremely wronged, they didn't pay me the amount they were supposed to pay me several times, yelled at me for no reason in front of staff and guests, and the manager retaliated by giving me more work, not releasing me when supposed to, talking about me, and adding work only to me. The list goes on, I haven't even received my retro pay from the salary they botched. I'm talking to legal council and want somebody to know about the Fayetteville Olive Garden and if nothing is done I will seek high help.

Olive Garden poor food quality, served cold,

On Febuary 4, 2018 we ate at Olive Garden in New Port Richey Fl. We were a party of 3 and have been going there for years. First of all we were never offered to sample the wine . Which is something Olive Garden has always done. The menu is also misleading. The offer the all you can eat is back but when you get there the prices for each dish varies. Not very fair especially if you want to try something different and are charged the higher amount for the meal. We all had the all you can eat chicken pram. The food came out cold. The macaroni was like mush. It appeared to have been not only over cooked but was sitting in water for an extended period of time. The macaroni appeared white in color even after adding addition sauce. The sauce was watered down and did not adhere to the macaroni. When we complained they replaced only the macaroni not the whole dish. There was no flavor. We also feel if you are paying that price for the all you can eat menu the additional portions should be the same size not smaller. The soups were all watered down and had no flavor. Very few beans or vegetables in the minestrone and pasta figoli.. The chicken broth usually has substance non noted. We took home the canola trio one of them tasted sour. In addition they were out of several things on the menu. It was roughly around 6:45 p.M. Our over all experience was not pleasant. If it hadn't been for our server the night would have been a total disaster. He was pleasant, efficient and did his best to make us happy. If not for him we probably would not consider going back to Olive Garden . I feel we should be reimbursed for our meals. Our bill was roughly $65.00 for food that was really not enjoyed. The quality of the food has really gone down as well as the portion size of the appetizers. Such a disappointment. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and go back to being a quality restaurant for families to enjoy.

Olive Garden I am complaining about a manager

Bar manager Asel Able continuously harasses workers and says very rude and disrespectful things.

Yesterday's shift, he made a server cry y telling her she's a sucky server infront of other employees.

He also continued by threatening employees who were off the clock and out of uniform by saying: if he for one guest complaints about us being loud and disturbing that we would all be fired. The employees were not loud and were off the clock.

These are examples of recent events in which manger Asel was rude to his employees. I believe he needs to be retrained in management or written up.

Olive Garden unfair treatment of breast feeding employees

I work at the Olive Garden in Highlands Ranch Colorado. I am a mother of 2, have worked for Olive Garden for 4 years and Olive Garden does not provide me with any place to pump my breastmilk for my baby. The options have been 1. The employee bathroom 2. The target changing rooms 5 min drive away. This has forced me to pump in my car. My milk supply has suffered severely from this. Customers have seen me pumping in my car, and this makes me feel uncomfortable. I am just one woman, in Colorado. How many other women in Colorado or the entire United States are subjected to this unfair treatment?!

Olive Garden slow and unprofessional service

Re: Party of 12, Service on 1/20/18, Olive Garden 1370, Table 42, Server Evan B.

Dear Sir or Madam:

On Saturday the 20th of January I and 11 of my friends had lunch. I called ahead to let the manager know we would be a large group. We were joined by 3 extra people at the last minute.

We were not seated for 40 minutes. Then when we did get a table, we didn't get water for at least 1/2 an hour. I finally went to the bar for 2 glasses of water! Some of our group are over 70, and/or have some health issues and had to take medicine.

Our waiter really did his best to accommodate us. He had an almost impossible job with our group and another large party near our table. I don't understand why he wasn't given some assistance! We did tip him very well because he deserved it.

Worst of all was we received no apology or show of concern. I approached the front desk at least 4 times. At one point there were 3 people just standing at the desk, one of whom I think was the manager. With as many issues as we had the manager and/or another staff member should have checked to make sure we had everything we needed!

Our group has been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and would like to continue to do so.

Very sincerely,

Carol G. Lotfi

Olive Garden poor food & customer service

Tuesday evening I decided to use my $30 gift card, that was an Xmas gift, to Olive Garden at your Blue Springs, Missouri location. I ordered the food to go & sent my fiance to pick up the food. Granted he was not very knowledgeable about what I had ordered & what should be included, but he shouldn't have to be. The restaurant should be plenty knowledgeable for him as to what should have been included.

When he returned home I noticed immediately that all of the food was so cold it was chewy. I was willing to overlook that since it was, after all, carryout. But when I started looking for the dipping sauce for the calamari & the lasagna fritta, I realized there wasn't any. I can't imagine there is anyone that would want to eat plain, dry calamari or lasagna with no sauce. I also ordered the stuffed mushrooms & chicken marsala. The mushrooms were cold & disgusting, but I didn't feel like dealing with those as well, but I was highly irritated about the rest of the appetizers. I called the restaurant & asked if they serve any dipping sauce for the items I ordered. She replied, "they serve a marinara sauce & ranch". I told her I got neither & she put the manager, Andrew, on the phone. When I explained the situation his attitude completely reflected how much he didn't care. He asked if I paid with cash or credit & when I replied gift card he was even more rude like I'm low class because I used a gift card. How does he think that gift card was purchased? Obviously with MONEY. He said he would email me an egift card for $9.50 to replace my appetizer. I informed him that my appetizer was more than that. He asked what it was & I said the pick 3 appetizer sampler. I said it cost somewhere around $11.50. So he said, "fine, I will send it for $11.50". I said, "thank you". When I hung up the phone I looked up the price & it was $11.79. I'm not trying to be petty but shouldn't he know how much that should cost? So I don't even get the full amount & any taxes on it. So to replace it I get to pay that part again. Would it have been so detrimental to your establishment to say here's a $15 coupon for the trouble of getting home, expecting a nice dinner & having to eat something from home anyways, because we can't get it together & send the correct or any condiments with the meal? I am seriously disappointed in the whole situation. I can honestly say that if I had never eaten at your restaurant before that night I would never step foot back in those doors & would advise others to follow suit because honestly the entire meal was ruined by the cold food that wasn't edible without dipping sauce, the inconvenience it caused, the rudeness of the manager that represents your company, being treated like lower class because I used a gift card & the feeling of being purely defeated when all I wanted was to have a delicious meal in the convenience of my own home provided by a restaurant that I used to classify as fine dining & have always enjoyed in the past. I probably will never use the $11.50 coupon Andrew sent me because it's not worth all the trouble it caused. I usually spend at least $100 every time I step foot into your restaurant, which is at least 15 times a year. I understand that is not a fortune you are receiving from me but $1, 500 a year is at least average & a manager treating me like I'm lower class & not even offering to cover the full cost of the item that was not edible through no fault of my own, was a slap in the face. Usually it's my fiance & my 13 year old son & I that dine at your restaurant. I would appreciate a response & at least some form of effort made by reaching out to me & trying to reverse the negative impact my last experience with your restaurant has made. I appreciate your time & I apologize for the complaining but I felt very strongly that someone higher up should be made aware .

Olive Garden new lo carb option

Olive Garden please do your research! There are millions of people that were excited about your spiralized squash and zucchini item why would you add pasta it defeats the whole purpose! Very disheartening ! Guess I'll be sticking to grilled vegetables in place of pasta if you add extra squash and zucchini and leave the pasta out you'll get a much better response!
