Olive Garden service

I arrived for dinner with a friend at 4:09pm. We were greeted by two friendly host and seated immediately at a table per request. After trying to call for a server on the tablet provided at the table. A server came over at 4:20pm said our waiter was coming and he was busy, but he would take our drink order. He brought our drinks and at 4:26pm and then waiter came over and stated he was sorry but this was not his table and no one asked him to wait in us. I immediately apologised for lack of communication at his expense and said its ok we can wait for our waiter. Next the manager comes to see what is the problem. We had no problem. We were seated quietly waiting to be served. I then said it's ok we'll go. I get it sometime when we are serving customers it can get confusing with lack of communication. I just wanted them to understand that we all have to treat customers kindly if you want them to frequent your business. And never make excuses on why something isn't your section when there ate only 2 table with customers in the section. You may miss out on a generous guest.

Why do people who have the spelling and grammar skills of a nine year old child call grown women girls? Most likely the white couple was there before you and or made a reservation. Something you are forgetting to mention.

Olive Garden ugh worst ever

Has corporate ever made a visit to the Olive Garden in Columbia, MO? We just moved here from Houston where we were regulars at Olive Garden. I was so incredibly disappointed when eating in Columbia. The food was beyond inedible and the store smelled of rotten trash. The chicken gnocchi was gray and looked like dirty dish water. My husband who usually has 2 or 3 bowls couldn't even eat it. Will definitely not be going back which is a shame as it was our go to.

Olive Garden fruit flies in the restaurant store #1327 louisville ky

This is less of a complaint but rather a call to action. Over a month ago, May 1st and 2nd, I ate dinner there two nights in a row. On both nights my dinner was interrupted by the buzzing of fruit flies trying to get in my wine glass. Fast forward to to last night, June 5th, I'm having dinner at the same resturant and the fruit flies are still there. Obviously the local management has not been able to solve this issue. Maybe it's time to get some upper management involved.

Olive Garden food

Last evening (6/5/2018), my husband and I debated whether to go to Red Lobster or the Olive Garden. We chose the Olive Garden, where we hadn't been to for several years. I always loved their salads and that is why we went there. Waitress tends to our table, right off the bat, apologizing that our service would be a little slow as there was training going on in the back. She brings our salad. We dished it out onto our plates. No onions, tons of croutons, the salad dressing was too tart, was more like a grocery store salad dressing, not like we remembered our previous salads at all . We asked the waitress where were the onions. She said they ran out. Well, that's not our problem. She did comment that the kitchen should have sent someone out to get some. So, a salad with no onions, and tart dressing. The start of our meal. Our main course was okay, however I could taste it all night long after I went to bed. Our bill came to $40.83, plus tax & tip. A high price to pay for having a horrible salad. We do not plan on going back. Sorry

Olive Garden my manager

Hello Human Resource,
My name is Lillyana Stovall and I am employed at the Olive Garden Store 6413 at 14231 E. Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX 77044. I have been an employee at this store since it opened in March. Up until this today, I felt very great about my job at Olive Garden. I love what I do and the people I work with. However, today while working my shift I was made to feel embarrassed, singled out, attacked, and endured racists comment from my manager. Last week on Thursday I was told that I needed to make bread by Kim the manager. I went to make the bread even though I was cleaning my station after closing. I followed directions from my Manager, but, when I got to the station someone was already making bread. I went back to inform Kim of this, and she snapped at me saying, "I told you to make it!" I did not want to get in trouble, so I went back and made the bread. Then on Sunday, I was told that I was being written up for not cleaning my station. I was very confused by this because I know I cleaned my station and was checked out by Juan. I never leave my station unclean I even stay late to get it done correctly. I try to always do the best job possible, because, I value my job. I just wanted to move on but today while at work I felt like Kim was acting very inappropriate with me. She asked me to come talk to her. She took me to the dining area and asked me a few questions about how I feel about my job. When I tried to answer the questions, she accused me of having attitude. By this time, I started feeling uncomfortable and maybe even attacked. I especially, felt attacked and embarrassed when she started asking who raised me and how I was raised. I could not understand what this information had to do with my job. Then adding more insults, she stated, "Black people are already looked down upon and I should not give them a reason look down on us more." I felt this was a racist statement and had nothing to do with my job performance. I also, felt very shamed in front of other co-workers she could have taken me into the office to talk to me. I was told that my co-workers could hear her raising her voice at me. I am writing this compliant against Kim because no on should endure what I felt today. I wanted to go in the bathroom and cry. I hope this does not get me retaliated against but feel something should be done. I am writing you because she is my store manager and who else should I tell

Sincerely,
Lillyana Stovall

Olive Garden the service at olive garden on virginia beach blvd. va

Had the 3-to-5 early dinner, you would have thought we wanted a free meal. The waitress was not friendly just, ok what do you want. Long wait for food. Never saw her again . Second waitress was nice & efficent. Third one was ready for us to go . Will not go to Olive Garden again. But will tell all my friends about the experience.. Olive Garden was my favorite restaurant but not now. Our bill was $23.00 that wasn't a drop in the bucket for us.

Olive Garden service

Went to Olive Garden today for lunch, ordered pizza bowel and bold your own pasta. We're there for 20 minutes before we got drinks and 30 minutes before we got our salad . The waitress was apparently new and when she brought the appetizer it was wrong. It was a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning to that Olive Garden, the manager apologized but by that time the whole meal was ruined and we had lost our appetites

Olive Garden service and food quality.

My daughter and I were driving through Illinois on 6-3-18, and stopped at the Olive Garden on 1701 East Empire Street in Bloomington, Illinois for a take out dinner, and continue with our drive. The first issue was that the guy behind the bar to take carry out orders was rude, and said he'd be with me shortly, no eye contact, and a chip on his shoulder. He continued goofing around with other employees and fiddling around behind the bar. A girl ended up coming from the back and took my order, she was laughing and said that they were about to run out of bread sticks and someone was driving to Peoria Illinois to pick up more. When receiving the order I asked for some salt and pepper packets and the guy said they were in the plastic ware bag. I took our order to the car, and we began driving. My shrimp was nearly raw and very rubbery, the pasta was starchy and overdone, with an incredibly small portion. My daughter ordered plain fettuccine alfredo but it looked like there was chicken in it, but it was bits of overcooked cheese sauce? There was no salt or pepper packets like promised. My daughter ordered an extra side of alfredo sauce and the container was filled to, at most, 1/3 of the way and it was very runny and tasteless. The bill was a very overpriced $36.85.

Olive Garden dirty eating utensils and wine glass

Visited my local Olive Garden Restaurant this Sunday evening only to be given a dirty set of eating utensils that were hand wrapped in a napkin. Manager is as called over to my table and shown and was given another set. While eating my dinner I then observed that the wine glass I was drinking out of was also had noticeably food on the outside. Manager was called to the table again and apologized and removed the wine glass. At this point we asked for our check and decided to eat the remainder of our food at home. Very disappointed with my visit and even more so how the Manager on duty handled our experience this evening. I will not visit this location in the future.

Olive Garden the food and service was good it was where they sat us.

Being only 2 of us, we were sat in a room of kids. They were loud and screaming, it really makes for a tense and not so nice dinner date with your spouse. We sat there listening to the screaming while trying to enjoy our meal. The hostess needs to pay more attention when sitting a couple compared to families. It doesn't matter whose turn it is next, do the couple a favor and sit them in a quieter place.

Olive Garden dessert to go

I had a decent meal even though service was a bit slow. Afterward, my wife ordered a piece of chocolate mousse cake to go for later in the evening. A few hours later, at home, she opened the to go box to find that it was a plain piece of cheese cake! Returning it tomorrow will only get a refund. Simple paid for order to fill. It's not about getting a refund for a slice of cake. We spent over $80 on dinner and the cake was only like $7. I'm upset that we were ideal patrons and spent a decent amount and left a good tip.

Olive Garden no discounts for seniors, no lunch discounts and no recognition for birthdays

On 5/29/2018, at about 11:30am, l decided to take myself to lunch for my birthday.

Ordered the chicken lasagna. Wasn't aware, I had to pay for the sauce and the meat separately. Deeply disappointed.

Was told you don't give discounts to seniors, lunch prices are whatever you see on the menu, and no birthday recognitions.

I'm under the impression, you want to get every penny you can get out of customers.

Will not be returning.

Most likely due to your poor English they did not understand you and that is why stuff was missing. Why should they give you something for free because of your poor English? Offering something for free is a gesture of goodwill. Demanding something for free is rude.

Olive Garden horrible salads/ service

We went for lunch to the Olive Garden located at 78th and Cicero in Bedford Park Illinois at around 1:30 on the 30th of May and the service that we received was poor but understandable but the food was horrible the salad look like it had died and maybe came back it was very very old and the service was just so slow and bad I had sympathy thinking maybe it was her first day but then found out no it wasn't never even knew her name because she never told it to us so it was very horrible the salad was just disgusting and then I was a little upset my daughter had paid the bill and did not even get the receipt so that I was able to find out the server's name and maybe call back or do a survey on there to let them know that management needs to keep up they do offer unlimited salads and soup so I do feel that their salad should been more presentable I mean tasteful even looked better

Olive Garden theft of personal property, I am a customer that goes there 6 days a week for 3 years and I had some things stolen off the table

We are a customer for approximately 18 years and have been a very steady customer for the last 3 years at the Wayne OliveGarden location going 6 days a week and have got to know the staff and managers very well and we were awarded customer of the year last year . On Friday evening May 25th 2018 we ate dinner and I had some personal property (electrictronal equipment for my television) on the table and me and my dad got up and left, leaving the stuff on the table, when we got in the car we realized that we left the items behind and immediately called up the Olive Garden and spoke with The manager Nigel who we are friendly with as my dad has known him 18 years and he checked with the server Juilo who we also are friends with we thought and Julio said it wasn't there . Nigel then abruptly said it was gone and he blew me offand acted like he didn't care and hung up the phone . I also spoke with Julio on the phone and he said it was gone and hung up the phone rudely . I called back 30 minutes later to see if anyone found anything and I spoke with manager Nigel again and he expressed annoyance that I called and said the stuff is gone and acted as he didn't care. We went back to the restaurant on Saturday and Nigel was there and would not speak to us and we spoke with Julio and he said a lot of things get stolen from here and basically said it was no big deal. We went back to dinner Monday and Tuesday and spoke about it briefly to some of the servers and they are acting as if they know who took the stuff but are not saying much but are aware of the situation. We are extremely disappointed in Nigel and the entire staff at the Wayne Olive Garden as we thought after all this time we had friends there as we tip extremely well to all the servers . We are not coming back as we disappointed and disgusted at what transpired and that nobody cared enough to look into the matter, instead we were rudely blown off . Multiple servers knew we had the stuff there and were non caring that it went missing as we had considered everyone friends

The original poster being a complete [censored] aside, who the heck eats at Olive Garden 6 days a week for 18 years? Let alone, eats out 6 days a week in general? I can't say Olive Garden's food is that good. Least to mention, they are throwing away an astonishing amount of money with their dining habits. It explains why they expect their "electrictronal equipment" to not be stolen when abandoned in public.

I am actually shocked about the comments left her regarding this situation. I used to work at Olive Garden. If a customer left personal belongings on the table or anywhere the items would be taken to a secure place and noted. If the customer was to call back to inquire about a left personal item hey would need to identify it and it would be returned. It sounds to me the staff stole it and everyone wants to blame the customer for being treated in a poor way after calling to ask about the left item thinking after years of being a good customer there would be absolutely no problem there with any staff stealing anything left behind. They were clearly saying food things about this Olive Garden location only to be treated very poorly when theft was an issue after leaving behind an item. Many things are always forgotten at places of business and there are policies and procedures to follow by each employee and rudeness is not one...I am ashamed of the comments left here!

It is not like he does not care. He has other customers . He is not being paid to babysit your property. It is not his job to look after your job, it is your job. The only person you should be disappointed in is yourself for being so careless. Grow up. Take responsibility for your actions instead of getting angry at others. Trust me you won't be missed. You have a very childish attitude. FIrst of all you refuse to take any responsibility for your carelessness. Then you have one bad experience(that is YOUR fault) and you won't be back. Trust me you immature child you won't be missed.

WOW. Wake up, punctuation class is over, if you think this is about punctuation than you are really missing the point and the education system has failed you . This is more about common decency the lack of proper protocal when an item goes missing and the complete lack of humanity, for you to imply by me forgetting something on the table it’s ok for someone to steal it instead of turning it in is appalling and disgusting on your part . I actually feel sorry for you if you think that way .

I do take responsibility for leaving the item on the table for it to be misplaced especially since I thought common decency would be to turn the items in . I now know that the Olive Garden and it’s management support a disgusting lack of humanity and support the theory that if you leave something on a table it’s there for the taking I don’t think God ever supported stealing but the Olive Garden does, i am sorry I left my stuff there on the table and will now go to a restaurant that has a more decent code of ethics

Olive Garden manager's actions

I went to to Olive Garden 1138 last night. I had been to this location about a month ago, and did not enjoy the servive I had then. The issues that happened during the first visit are as follows: When I came into the lobby I had asked for a window seat. And although there were window seats available, from what I could see, I was seated at a table without a window. During my meal I had asked for 2 more breadsticks, but the waitress only brought back one and said that she could get me more salad but only one breadstick. I am overweight and left feeling that maybe this was the reason why the salad was more of a push by my waitress. And I left doubting whether I'd be back or not.
So last night, since I didn't enjoy my dining experience the first time, I thought I would get a glass of wine and a get an order to go.
I was happily surprised to be greated by the bar tender (Christopher V), not only did he take my order and got me the glass of wine that I ordered, but he also took the time to suggest a new wine that Olive Garden just started carrying, and gave me a sample of it. With the excellent customer service that I got from Christopher, I was feeling better towards Olive Garden.
My complaint with this visit is when the Manager Oshea approached Christopher shortly after he had given me a sample of the new wine. She reprimanded him for giving me to much of the sample wine. She wasn't yelling but she was loud enough for myself and other patrons to hear, and the atmosphere that was joyful before, became a stifling lull after her reprimand, and made me feel guilty for even accepting the sample. Before Oshea, came into the room, I was thinking next time I come back I'll have a full glass of the new wine, but after observing her behavior, I'm now again not sure if there will be a next time.
Even though the customer service from Christopher was excellent, it's hard to want to go back to a place where there is only one person I got good customer service from.

Thank you for listening
Sheri Prince
