Olive Garden there was a beetle inside of my chicken that was served to me.

I went to olive garden last night which I dreaded in the first place. I haven't been in years because I have gotten sick from their food. My girlfriend wanted to get salad so I figured I would give it a try because it has been almost 3 years. I ordered the salad along with the chicken parm. The food came and about halfway in a cut into the chicken and realized I cut a beetle in half that was embedded inside of the chicken. I immediately called management and showed them what I had found in my food. I was very disgusted and disappointed. Please see the attached photos and hopefully the video will upload.

Olive Garden poor customer service

We checked online and the site said there was no wait to be seated. When we arrived there was several people waiting in the lobby and outside. When my party of 2 walked in and spoke, the hostess Karen did not respond. She didnt even greet us until she had finished telling her joke. It was as if we weren't even there. To top it off, she said there was a 30-35 minute wait...for a party of 2. The customer service was terrible, which resulted in us leaving and going to a different restaurant with better service...and it was not an Olive Garden.😡

You do not deserve a full refund or free meal. If you are that desperate for free food, there are soup kitchens and food drives. Or better yet get a job so you can afford to eat out. Quit lying on the internet.

Olive Garden employees not providing the best service

My husband, daughter, son-in law, 2 grandchildren and myself Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. Olive Garden on Broadway Tucson AZ. We went in
and no one was waiting for a table. They said 25 minute wait. 3 employees
were chatting at the hostess station. No one went to look to see if there was
a possibility. Restaurant seemed fairly slow. We said the children are small we do not need a large table. Sorry and they chatted between themselves. My daughter looked behind the hostess stand and said here is an empty table.
Well after a little discussion we were seated and everything else was great.
My husband and I own a small business in Benson AZ and realize employees do not always have the business best interest at heart. If this were my business I would want to know about these issues.
Thank you

Patricia Barrera

Olive Garden service

I am a former Olive Garden employee and I have encountered several occasions where the current manager, Celeste, has provided unprofessional service. This past Wednesday I went into Olive Garden to eat with a friend who is currently employed. Since her shift was almost over, I decided to wait at the Bar top for her so we could eat together. I was walking towards the bathroom where I met with a previous coworker who is still a current employee who I was catching up with. Now we were not standing in the middle of the dining room, we were off to the side out of sight. Celeste then approached me and sarcastically said, "what are you doing?" So I said, I'm just standing here waiting on my friend and talking to this person. She then preceded to say, "Can you please go sit at the lobby" in a very smart tone. Thinking that was very rude, for lack of words, I made my way to the seats provided in the front. Since I was treated like dirt and not like a guest, I got my food Togo and left feeling unwelcomed. My friend was cut, but was unable to leave "incase the restaurant became busy" that's why I waited so long for her to clock out.

***Im choosing to leave the names of the employees out so no one gets into trouble or treated badly.

Since I'm already on the topic, I can also tell you of an occasion when I was still employed there. My family had come in for dinner and I was serving them at table 313 which is a bigger booth which seats up to 6 people, Celeste came to me and said, "can you rush your family and get them out of here quickly because we need that table for other guests." Which offended me a lot. With her being a new manager I feel like she handles matters very unprofessionally. I hope that you will these complaints into consideration. Thank you for your time.

Olive Garden service on july 20th around 8pm

Had the worst visit by far at the waxahachie tx location. Went with my family for a nice meal I'm 32 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old that is autistic. My husband goes in before we even get my son out to ask for a booth and a chair at the end of table because aka I'm pregnant and so my son can sit beside my husband and not try to run around. Seemed to be no problem well get inside waitress that isn't even our server or waiter helps us at first I order our food and say I needed my meat well done being it's the only way I can eat it and she said that would be no problem, she seemed nice, but at this time even after ordering i was still waiting for a chair. Our actual waiter comes with food i ask about a chair to be told i could not sit at end of table because it would be in the way. I check my meat it was not well done asked if he could take it back and fix it and he comes back 10 minutes later to tell me there is no way they can cook the meat well done, which makes no sense because they have before. So I ask for just the noodles with out the meat he comes back with it after another 10 minutes by this time I'm in pain because of the table putting a lot of pressure on the top of my stomach because the table and seats were way to close together. I start crying after I say something to the waiter and he makes the comment well I can clean you a seat at a different table so you can just sit and eat. I asked why would I want to come pay this much money to eat with my family and have to sit across the room away from them just to eat. Makes no since. Then he says well I can get you a to go box and you can just take it with you. I asked again why would I pay that much money to have to take my food home and eat it cold that isn't right. He had nothing to say and so I just told him by this time I'm crying and in pain and just want to leave for him to take it off of the bill because I couldn't eat it under the situation and just want a to go box for my sons left overs. He takes it and leaves after 20 minutes he brings the ticket with a tiny box not big enough for the left overs of my sons leaves again after another 5 to 10 minutes finally shows back up with a bigger box then leaves before even taking the money to pay for my husband and sons meals. After waiting another 10 minutes I had had enough took the money to the front and left was not even offered a receipt and Then cryed my way home because of the pain. This is no way to treat any customer and will not be returning unless some serious things change. No one should have to pay that much money for a meal and go threw this...

Also we ordered
Kids menu chicken(which was over cooked) and spaghetti with spiral noodles instead of spaghetti noodles with a tea
For my husband the creation your own spaghetti noodles with pesto sauce and raspberry lemonade
For me the create your own with spiral noodles with cheesy garlic Alfredo sauce and meatballs(well done) and sweet tea(which I didn't even get to try)
With salad on side and breadsticks that were dry and could tell they were not seasoned or even fresh.

To too it off they asked for Id even though I was 24 at the time, three years older than the legal drinking age.

Oh and my two year old is autistic because of them. When I went to their restaurant about three years ago I was pregnant with him. Nowhere was there a sign saying that drinking during pregnancy is dangerous, and they clearly knew that I was pregnant. But they did not even refuse to sell me alcohol nor did they try to talk me out of buying alcohol. So I have a feeling that because of them serving me alcohol while pregnant that is why my son turned out autistic.

Olive Garden manager attitude, product, service

Purchased food to take home, soon arriving at home found food to be burned as well as the breadstick that I ordered extra of were so hard that I could've played hockey with them. I called the restaurant located on route 85 in Waterford CT and asked to talk with the manager. When I was talking with the manager Andi she apologized however I was told that she couldn't do anything about it. That she didn't have enough authority and that the Gm was on vacation. Now I spent $50 on awful food and you can't do anything. I asked for the DM's info and she wouldn't give that to me either. I had to drive back to the restaurant located 2 towns over to get my money back. This is the kind of service found not only here but everywhere and this company needs to train there people to handle conflicts and get the orders right the first time.
I do expect to here back from the DM and meantime I have no desire to ever return to this location.

Olive Garden observed my server kissing, touching, and hugging a male server repeatedly throughout our meal.

My husband and I visited Olive Garden near Mall 205 on 07/18/2017 around 5:30 pm. Our Server, Trina was polite to us when visiting the table but as the evening progressed what followed was completely disgusting and unacceptable. We observed her REPEATEDLY through our meal kissing, touching, and hugging another server who was dark complected with a beard. We also observe her following this server around the restaurant all while our table needed assistance and we had to wait extensive periods of time. We felt SO uncomfortable and out of place. I was too embarrassed to even say anything to our server about this, what was I even supposed to say!? Not my place to ask someone serving my food to me to refrain from PDA and to pay sufficient attention to her assigned tables. My husband asked an employee that dropped our food if this was a normal occurrence/practice and the response we got was, "Ugh, Yes they are like that." Judging by their response it made them feel uncomfortable too which is understandable! I will never return to this location again. I am completely disgusted by what I was forced to see my entire visit here. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior in a restaurant. Seems like these two have made their job their own personal make-out booth ! This grossest experience I have ever had while eating out .

Olive Garden poor service

Today at lunch time we went to our local Olive Garden which we have visited often. 7/19/2017 at 12.00 PM. Check 53900. Server Maria C. We were seated promptly but then waited 10 minutes for our server to appear after we pushed the call server button at the table. She apologized and said she had been in the kitchen but many tables around us were greeted and served drinks before us even though they were seated later. She then brought our salad before beverages and salad contained a spoiled piece of tomato. When I mentioned it she said she was going to call the manager but no one ever came to look at it and she came back and took it away with a comment that it was "probably just a seed or something". I then noticed that she stood at the table next to us and talked about family issues for at least 5 minutes! I have to wonder who else was waiting! She said she put a rush on our food when she waited on us and mentioned we were unhappy with the wait to be greeted, which was fine but this did not make up for the initial wait because of what I suspect was also her visiting. Food was fine but service very disappointing. We are long time customers of the Dubuque restaurant but we will wait a while before we return as management apparently didn't care about speaking with us as former staff would have!

Olive Garden billed incorrectly

On 7/8/17 we visited store #1414 in Bloomington. Waitress was very nice but over charged us.
There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 Soup & Salad, one Garden Salad, 1 Lasagna Fritta & 1 soup.

We were charged for 3 soup & salad, 1 Lasagna Fritta, & 1 Garden Salad for
$ 47.23 with tax.

I don't believe that's correct. My husband signed the bill without looking at it...sorry.

Olive Garden soup and salad

Have visited for years different Olive Gardens, but the one in Tallahassee has really gone down.
Visited a few weeks ago and ordered soup and salad. The salad was not fresh but was wilted. Did not say anything. When came down to the soup it was watered down. I have never seen this before, so sent back and ordered different soup, same thing all watered down. No goodies in it all.
So, assumed just bad day for Olive Garden.
While gave you another try on July 16, 2017. OMG took one bite of soup and sent back showed to server. Ask for minestrone soup figured how could you go wrong with this. It had one bean in it, no vegetables just the one bean.
Server tried to say we just put pasta in it only. It was watered down too.
I will not be back, two time and that is it for me.

Olive Garden I'm complaining that the management in location was incompetent, by breaking several state tx laws

Good Afternoon,

I'm writing this email with major concern on how Olive Garden hires and screens there employees? With major concerns of nightly or daily Managers! I visited a Olive Garden Restaurant.
( 5439 W Loop 1604 N, San Antonio, TX 78254)
on Friday July 15, 2017 between 7:30 pm and 9:45 pm
I was very shocked to see the type of behavior that the management was allowing! First, there was a waiting line for about 30 mins. and during that time, customer's were ordering Alcoholic beverages from the bar, and then walking out into the parking lot drinking them, or standing outside of the front door, still outside of Olive Garden drinking and getting in the way of other guest trying to get inside! I have pictures as well! Then, when I went inside to the Bar area, there are small children (Minors) sitting at the Bar eating! A HUGE No Go! I could only imagine if a ABC Agent would have walked in and seen that, what type of ON THE SPOT Fines Olive Garden would have recieved! Not to mention that there was an adult at the Bar that clearly should have been CUT OFF by the Bartender, and those children were now subjected to his obnoxious behavior! Sounds like a potential Lawsuit to me! So, I asked to speak with the Manager who was absolutely no help and told me that Olive Gardens policy is that they can seat children anywhere that they want! I then tried to explain to her that whenever Olive Garden's policy is, it doesn't supersede the State Law when it comes to children sitting at a Bar, and Guest drinking outside of the establishment! I then politely asked her, for her name and or employee identification # and she refused to give it to me stating that she doesn't have to give customer's that information! I said ok, I'll just contact corporate, and we'll see what they have to say about this Horrible representation of a Good Restaurant!

Olive Garden food

I became very ill after eating at your Charlotte location. I've worked in food service about 5 years, and know that it might not have been the food itself, but how it was handled. That being said, the salad mixed used was far from fresh and the lasagna was cold when I got it. My bill was about $20. I don't mind the price, but I would expectat that price point not see resulted like this. Please make sure the cooks and waitersaren't cutting any corners at the hands of food safety. I would appreciate reimbursement if possible.

Olive Garden add on from server

My husband and I visited the olive garden in clifton park, ny today. The waitress was very nice. We ordered our drinks and food. Our server asked us if we would like dipping sauce with our bread sticks, such as marinara or Alfredo. We said sure, both would be nice. Well... She never told us there was a charge of $3.49 for each! We couldn't believe it when we received the check. She had offered it sounding like it was complimentary. We paid and left, didn't say anything. When we went to the parking lot the next table over was talking about the same thing happening to them! So I searched complaints on line and sure enough the same complaint from other people are on line. I truly feel like I had one pulled over on me! So then I decided to call the store to let the management know what happened. Her name was Jessica. She had me on speaker and heard someone laughing in the background. When the girl really started laughing at the end of our conversation she picked the phone up and took me off speaker! That was the management! She offered a gift card, I said I didn't call for any compensation I just do not want the same thing happen to the next family going there. I'm totally disgusted!

Olive Garden management

My husband and I recently went to the Olive garden by melinia in Orlando FL, well it was busy and we decided to go to bar...The bar tender was doing the best she could she was BY HERSELF on. Saturday night with tables, service bar and the bartop...The manager came up and instead of asking if he she needed help, helped himself to a ginger ale...Her bar busy and dirty, she was stressed and doing the best she could . Other server's came to help, Lisa our bartender rung in our drinks and appetizer, but another server came to help and took our food oder, well apparently our food was never rung in .. we were there 2 hrs total and never received our entree's... Bottom line is your manager he was a man, night management on 7/15/2015 came to us and said he'd pay for our check BUT NEVER took dirty plates away from and guests that were there for 20-30 mins ..He doesn't need to be a manager...It was highly unethical and as a person who worked in the service industry watching an amazing server and bartender like Lisa suffer and struggle because she got no help from her management is unexceptional, we go to this location all the time and we will attend again bc of Lisa the bartender but other we wouldn't...Please coach your managers that they need to be aware of the whole restaurant not just togo!

Olive Garden chicken fettuccine

To whom it may concern:

You can ask anyone. My favorite restaurant is The Olive Garden. Every birthday or special event I choose to go there. I suggest it for every social event too. The last time I visited I was not happy. And I have never been unhappy with any of the food there. I am 33 years old and have been going since I was a kid with my parents. The portion was so much smaller than usual. Why? The prices have not gone down. The plate was smaller and there was a very noticeable difference between now and before. I didn't even have any leftovers. I always have at least a little. It really makes me second guess my options for the next time. I felt like I was getting ripped off.

Thank you for listening.
