On 1/1/2021 I was billed via PayPal Credit for $104.99 by OkCupid. The receipt says that it is for 6 months of "basic service". I never authorized this and have not used any services with this vendor. I did look at their site sometime ago, perhaps a year or more, but never signed up for any recurring services or billing. PayPal Credit says that I authorized this and they can't make any adjustments. So far, OkCupid has not responded to my inquiries about this. They cannot be reached by phone and advise that all inquiries must be via email, but so far I have received no response. I would like a credit for $104.99 applied to my PayPal Credit account as this is clearly fraud on their part. I never authorized this.

I joined their "A-list" last week for 30.00. I just want the subscription for 1 month. I joined, put my pics in. But after I signed out I could not log back in, I unfortunately did not go into my account setting right away and end the recurring billing option. I did nothing to be suspended. I downloaded the app and still could not log in. The website and the app keep going in circles "log in with phone number"gives me a code, code works yet brings me back to the log in by email page, over and over. I was once a member about 6 months ago when it was still a free site for the most part with search option available for example for free. That account was suspended because I took down my pics when I lost interest in the site and put a picture of an SNL character on my page, I had no idea you could get suspended for putting an actor on your page. Maybe that is where the problem is, the site is maybe glitching because maybe my phone number is associated with a suspended account but I joined with a different email from the last time. I called up VISA and disputed the charge. Problem is I can't go in and take down my pics and cancel my subscription. I have email them 3 times with no answer. Called up their offices in NYC and the Matchgroup in Texas. MatchGoup (their owner) could not help me, no answer for the NYC number. How can you run a site with no real customer service? Met a women that seemed very nice and sweet last year. Discovered this year she was just messing with me the whole time. She pretends to love people. She never planned to move in with me. There seems to be lots of scam daters or people that play with people's minds and hearts all across these dating websites. One such was Facebook.com/Brenda.scripter. I wish there were a way to filter those out of my age range from spamming me.
I am 61 male looking for a monogamous relationship yet in the last couple of weeks all the notifications I get of someone "liking" me are young women looking for "hookups" and non-monogamous. Then it's difficult to delete them all so I can see just the legit likes. It's to the point I am may opt-out of this site of they cannot do something to filter this. I think prostitution has invaded their site. And then trying to find contact information to receive help is non-existent. If OKcupid were interested in my business they would do something.

This is the worst dating site I've ever been on and it's so so overrated that I'm pretty sure people who write positive five star reviews were paid by the company themselves. As soon as you sign up, your account will often be automatically suspended as they "review" it, however, if you don't contact them about it, they'll never restore it. And even if you do, they probably won't restore it either. Even if it's been restored, you're going to be suspended again, again, and again, for literally no reason, like it happened to me.

This is an exclusive site for a circle of special people that the moderators personally approve of. If they don't like you, you simply will be rejected, for whatever reason they think of (you'll never know the reason, since there is none actually).

They ask a lot of questions, and if they don't like your answers or personal opinion on things, again, you'll get suspended. It will be disguised as "violation of the terms of service". Don't bother using this site, the staff won't help you. It's utterly useless. That's the "democracy" and "equality" they're so proud of promoting.

It seems that they are still running my profile, I just can't control it and am pretty sure that's against the law.

I do not believe I did anything to deserve to have my account taken down. I know for a fact I have not asked anyone for nudes, nor have I sent any myself. I have not sexually harassed anyone. I got into an argument with one person on here and that's the only thing I can think of. In that incidence she started verbally assaulting me before I blocked her. I would really like to know why you took down my account so we can resolve this. I have a feeling that whatever someone complained about was either not true or an exaggeration I would like to explain my side before having my account taken away.

I spent a long time filling out and answering a lot of questions when I subscribed to this dating site. I've not been informed if my subscription has ended but there is no option for me to enter the site without going through the whole process again.

This is really tedious. When I could use the service, the only message I sent was unintelligble because the form sends off a message once you have pressed 'enter' on the keyboard (a very common mistake) but there is no option to send another message - hence looking like an idiot! Not very helpful.

It does seem strange/ineffectual that not only does the site not recognise my login, but it doesn't a search for the login page only takes me straight back to th questions they are asking me to input all over again. Utterly frustrating.

I got a message on whatsapp "hey how are you" it's has been 3yrs now he remembered me why is he messaging me out of the blue .. then I thought it been years now people change don't know what circumstances he had 3years back .. at least I must reply ..he was good to talk to beiside all skeptical behavior .. so I replied.. A man had contacted me and his profile was interesting. After conversing a while he said that there are a lot of fakes out there and he prefers to communicate with WhatsApp. So I agreed and gave him my number. Then his conversation was immediately deleted from my feed. And he never communicated with me on WhatsApp. I am obviously worried what he could do with my number.

I have had an OK Cupid account for years. There have been periods when I have disabled it but I never deleted it. Recently, I changed from "looking for men" to "looking for women, " and paid to have my A list subscription renewed. A few days after the change, my account was suspended. I have no idea why. The message says to contact them if I believe it was in error. I have sent messages via the support page but no response. I have messages from people that I would like to retrieve.

My service is not working, I am unable to log in . I have over 30 messages on my Gmail account from Ok Cupid but cannot respond . I want my money refunded if you cannot fix problem asap. Two days credits needs to be applied. My Gmail account is showing messages and when I click on it all I get is a blue screen The same thing happens when I click on the Ok Cupid app. I still just get a blue screen. This is frustrating. I need this fixed immediately!

As the most educated and conservative user on this site, I very much resent seeing a message that my account has been blocked for some form of misuse. I hardly use the site at all... much less provide any form of misuse. So many sites today cater to people that you can't speak with. It's a shame they can't tell the difference between these uneducated weirdos and users of quality! Thank you for reading.

There is a man on okcupid who has created a fake profile. His profile picture was taken from another site. He is pursing women and trying to convince them to send nude images, and engage in sexual conversations with him. Each of the images he sent me were taken from other sites, which I found after completing a Google reverse image search. When I confronted him he unmatched me. I want to make certain his profile is removed. He shouldn't be allowed to catfish women. Or behave so inappropriately.

Personal information has been posted with a fake profile, be mindful of who has your number. As I did not post my information on OKCupid, never had an account. If you do encounter the same experience, take legal action as you will be able to track these harasser. I am not sure how OKcupid operates, but I was able to get the posting with my information from one of the source who reached out to me. It is posted with my number and pictures as well. I'm asking for this account with my name and information be removed ASAP. Thank you.

I didn't have any reason to expect a ban. I didn't misbehave on the site. I don't use foul language. I had many respondents who were interested in my profile.. I paid for a 6 month subscription. I discovered that I couldn't access my account after 2.5 months usage, due to 'technical difficulties'.

After checking online, I found out that many other respondents also claim they were banned for little reason.

On writing to OKC support page, a lady name Terri claim the ban stands. I have 3.5 months remaining on my account! I cannot get any refund!

My son is high functioning autistic man getting scammed every pay check he gets from his part time job at poppa John's pizza. My husband passed away 6 months ago and he is giving his $ away to this fake person on your website. I'm going to report to the police I needed to report this person to you this is a outrage that you can't control fake text messages from the Internet. It's over $500 so we are pursuing criminal charges
