Ocean Basket We were not happy with the calamari tubes

Pay day and we are thinking what are we going to spoil ourself with. We all decided that we should have a treat and we decided to buy ocean basket which we normaly do every month even the staff knows that. Mike and Gibson thank you for the friendly service you always provide when you take orders you guys do it perfectly and keep it up but as for the the person who does the grilling i have no words for them.

We ordered Three platters for one and one taw prawn prince 12. All was perfect and tasty but we were not happy with the calamari tubes, they were burnt very crispy and quite overdone and did not taste good at all. We ate but eating something that you dont enjoy beleive you me even your face changes until the last bite. It was not a very good experience and i trust that this will not happen in future as you know that times are tough and R85.00 is a lot for just lunch.

I still have the receipt as well just in case. All in all the cubes just spoiled everything.

Ocean Basket The chips were old cold and the rice was cold as well

Our dinner at Ocean Basket was cold and tasteless! That's fine but when we complained at the restuarant - the manager turned a blind eye and disappeared instead of an apology or explanation He offered us a pan full of CHIPS! What an Insult! This is by far the worst eating experience I've had and the response from the manager was even worse.

The Prawns were white, not sauteed and tasteless, the calamari was cold, white, not sauteed- the lemonbutter sauce was thick on the prawns, calamari and mussels. The chips were old cold and the rice was cold as well. The only thing that was well done was the fish. Now tell me - how on earth do you insult me with a pan filled to the brim with chips after such a stuff up?

On Monday 210909 their head office and spoke to Brendan Mc Ghee who took down my contact details and I haven't heard anything from them since. Is he also doing a disappearing act? I'm sure you customers are worth more than just a pan of chips!

I hope this matter won't be taken lightly.

I have made a sim swap 5 weeks ago and still can not make any calls. I have phone Vodacom but have not received any help. I also went to Vodashop in promenade (Mitchell's plain) but to no reveal please help me. I have bought me air time but when i try to make a call the operator responds with my service has been suspended. Please help! [protected].
My airtime expires soon. I can only receive call.

Ocean Basket You should train your waiters properly

I went to Cedar square ocean basket the frist time 2 weeks ago. ordered a platter for one where i asked specifically for the prwan heads to be ut of. I received my order with the prawn heads still attached and instead they left of the calamari heads. I saw this as a simple mistake and all was forgotten. Last week I went to the ocean basket again, and once again that did the same thing to my order. Te left of the calamari heads and the food was also presented badly. The floor manager did not seem very sorry about the inconvenience caused and even though i ask for the bill and returned my food, i was still hagred for the starter and drinks - this cost should have been carried by ocean basket due to their bad service. You should train your waiters properly!
