Obama 4 coin set / product not as advertised

1 United States Review updated:

Concerning the 4 coin Barack Obama coin set, advertised by Montel on TV and website. Supposed to have a $1 gold-plated coin, Kennedy 1/2 dollar, Illinois quarter and Hawaii quarter and 4 certificates of autheticity. What I got has 2 Hawaii quarters, none from IL. On the collector's folder descriptions (which is different from the one shown on TV and web), it say "A State Quarter" for the one that should be from IL. I got 1 certificate of authenticity (also different from those advertized). The coins are not as slick as they look on TV. I ordered by phone - 5 sets at a discount, excited to share and was also talked into buying an "Obama Inaugural Coin Collection" (3 more coins - coming soon - sight unseen). Nervous about that... can't find any pictures of them online... would not recommend ordering from them.

Don't buy stuff off of TV. Don't believe the historical hype either about Obama. He isn't really the first black president. He is the first bi-racial president. If he is 50/50 then why does it go to the black. What's with that? Not only does he talk white, dress white, act white, and live in the white house but he is also 50% white.

When Leroy Jenkins and Shaquonda have a baby that grows up to be president then I will give it up for the first black president. Until then we haven't had one.

This historic hype and part of history crap is just media spin and something to market. Which you bought hook line and sinker. Enjoy your first non white presidential coin set.
