I was checking my phone bill and received a charge from OAN Services for Kool Telecom. I called the number on my Verizon Bill for Kool Telecom and they stated that I signed up for the service on June 2nd, thru a website www.usprizedraw.com. I was charged $24.56. I told them it is impossible for me to have done that I hate those websites and I work 2 jobs and barely have time to get on the internet. The representative then was offering me 6 months for free. I said I wanted it off my bill and he told me that he was taking it off and but me in a list "do not bill" I have a confirmation number, but somehow I believe this is not the end of this after reading other postings.
Same thing just happened to me. Got the same 6 month free offer and I don't even know what it was for. BIG scam!
same thing here on my centurytel bill how can someone attach to your bill and steal money from you i don't understand would not refund the 22.95 and I did not sign up for anything I am POSITIVE. in the process of removing land line all together and go with satelitle internet

I too got a charge from kool Telecom on my Verizon bill and they stated I signed up ffor this service over the net. I asked when it was signed up and they said June 3rd at 5:19pm and I wasn't even home for that to happen. They told me they cancelled it and put me also on a do not bill list. They rfused to gove me a refund for the $17.76 that was billed. I will be keeping an eye on the next phone bill I too have a confirmation number I hope it's the last I hear from them.

PLEASE Don't let them get you. THEY CLAIMED THEY CALLED ME 2 CONFIRM MY ORDER, BUT I HAVE PROOF I WAS AT WORK. I DONT OWN A COMPUTER SO WHY WOULD I BUY VO IP SERVICE? FOUGHT WITH ME TOOTH AND NAIL OVER THE PHONE JUST FOR INFORMATION. I DO PHONE SERVICE FOR LIVING N I KNOW THE LAW N USED IT TO MAKE THEM TALK. MONITORING 2 C IF THEY REFUND IT NEXT MONTH OR NOT. WORSE STILL THEY BILLED MY DADS ACCOUNT N NOT MINE
