I hate this cheap home.We bought it in Sept 2011, & its now March '12.This home is built so cheaply its pathetic.I did not want this brand of home, I knew it was cheap, but my husband wouldn't listen. The ceiling is cracked already in 3 places, the linoleum is so thin it pulls up when I'm vacuuming it, the a/c & heating unit is not enclosed in a closet & is so loud I hate it. It doesn't cool our bedroom either, while the rest of the house is too cool, just poor design & quality. The original one never would even work-it had to be replaced, & in doing this they scratched the utility room floor. The carpet is already showing wear, the appliances are very cheap, the bathtub is cheap plastic. I could go on & on. What a waste of money.I will never recommend this. oOak Creek Homes to anyone.BW

Do not waste your time!

The people at Oak Creek homes in Seguin TX are the most disrespectful, unprofessional, useless and rude. My wife and me were looking to buy a modular home, we had land and provided all the documents and permits needed for the loan. We worked in this project for one year doing all the job that these people supposed to be doing in order to sell us the house. We had to deal with three different sales representatives and none of them did anything right. When we finally apply for the loan to buy the house and having all the documents ready for the mortgage and excellent credit score , the manager Jon Olson called my wife telling her our refund check is ready and they wouldn’t sell us the house. He was rude and hanged up the phone on her. We went to the office in seguin personally to talk to this clown Jon Olson, he was very disrespectful and didn’t want to give us a reason why he dismissed our project. They handed us a refund check with a date of more than six months ago, even though we met with the main manager to discuss about the sale about two months ago. We were so angry to be treated and dismissed for no reason, Jon lied in front of our faces that we didn’t have the documents to work on the loan. We show the main manager all the documentation we have been sending to Jon Olson via email and we proved him wrong. After that the manager pretended he was interested in help us, but we walk away and took our business somewhere else. They finally refund us the 1000 dollars check which it was the only good thing they did. They made my wife and me waste a year gathering information, quotes and permits for nothing. We went to another dealership and they told us we weren’t the first customers who had been dismissed for no reason. The main reason is these people can’t keep their word on maintaining the price they offer even if you give the deposit check. So don’t waste your time and money with these crooks. Do your homework and research for better dealerships. Also the reviews for their products is horrible. If you want to be treated like second class citizen go to Oak Creek homes Seguin TX. The two outdoor cats living out side of their office have more brain than the people working in there. I will give them 0 stars if I could because they really suck.

WOW! My nightmare began 5/6/2017, soon as I signed on the line! The manager and salesman immediately stopped returning phone calls. Called and left messages for over a week, when I finally did get the manager he stated "he had been dialing the wrong number"? REALLY! up until I signed you always managed to dial the correct number. But short summary of my battle. House was delivered to Lufkin lot, i went to view house before it was delivered to my property. The house was a complete and total WRECK. Once the house was delivered and put together, i was able to get a clearer view of the WRECK! No only was the house not ordered the way i requested, the walls were busted, the boards were busted, not the 2x4s that the salesman sd i would have but 2 2/3s? No CAN LIGHTS as ordered. Crooked walls, kitchen window not centered, shower doors on backwards, window in dining area backwards, ceiling beam is hanging, shelves cut short and not meeting up to wall, backsplash not as promised, all the crown molding is pieced with sloppy chalking, which by the way I pd for upgraded crown molding and didn't get, sheet rock shorten, accent walls have holes with chalking trying to cover it up! Now they did send someone out from forth worth to do all the repairs, HE ONLY COVERED THE BUSTED BOARDS AND REDID THE SHEETROCK, everything else was left the same. And this is only a partial list of things WRONG with this house.

can you tell me your experience with financing? We were getting close to the point of a final loan amount and then told that we would have to switch to modular instead of manufactured (about $10k more for the same home) because FHA required it due to home/land appraisal in my area.

Ok...someone current in our position. Our house was delivered on 6/12/17 and is still basically in two pieces. The house was put together and "leveled" and the trim man found the back 1/2 of the house was 1/2" higher than the front. Got OCH to come out, look at the situation, and they cut the house in 1/2 to "level" it again. Now the front 1/2 and back 1/2 are out of side-to-side alignment. Didn't get bath upgrade paid for; didn't get kitchen ordered b/c salesperson did not transfer information to build sheet. All walls have cracks. Front bedroom walls have embedded glass. Floors have "low" spots. Researching HUD regulations (ours is a HUD-Code manufactured house) and set up does not meet coding. Am working with OCH "compliance officer" and working to hire an attorney at this point. Was told that the timeline in the 42 page contract we signed, was "not in our contract." But I am looking for site like this one as fuel. Thanks.

Oak Creek is very pour with the setup and warranty. I have been told everything is on backorder and nothing is done the whole year and then they say your year setup warranty is over use the 7 year warranty which doesn't cover anything. Nothing but total frustration as the half finished home crumbles around you from pour workmanship. Run Forrest run.

I've had an Oak creek Home 11 months, roof leaks, floor creaks, windows leak due to no caulking around them, all in all a very cheap and poor quality home. Their warranty is a joke. They will not answer the phone and if they do they promise someone will come out but no one ever shows up. When you buy this POS home you are on your own. They won't fix a damn thing.
I tell everyone to not buy one of these sorry boxes at any cost. Piss poor company.

we moved in to our oack creek home december 2014, it is now june 2015 and there is atleast one crack in every wall, the lino floor is coming up, theres a leak in the roof, theres a leak under the bathroom sink, the trim on the inside of the house is falling off and so much more. this is all in 6 months. I have emailed oak creek homes several times and they have told me that our cosmetic warrenty is already up and that they will not come fix anything. I think that is absolutely pathetic. How do you sell someone a home and use such cheap materials and do such a half a** job? I will not be recomending Oak Creek Homes to ANYONE. Oak Creek Homes are worthless theives with no morals that produce nothing but crap homes. if anyone decides to sue please let me know!

Piece of junk is right! I'm going to see about getting an attorney! Oak Creek homes claim to have a well built, high quality home and it is far from it. What a joke . 1 year and 3 months in and we already have a roof leak and many other issues

These homes are NOT built as well as they boast about. Their warranty is a joke also, oh yeah they have a warranty but it;s when they FEEL like GETTING back to you and then getting out to your home. This company is a scam, if you want a cheap built home that, I think, is expensive, go right ahead but be prepared to have problems and then wait 2-3 weeks for them to call back and THEN come out and that's an extra week or 2! This company is a rip off!

I was a first-time manufactured buyer in 2011. Previous to that I had always lived in site-built, quality homes. Oak Creek manufactured houses are built extremely cheaply. It is almost like living in a tent or shed. In spite of the fact that the house is a piece of junk, I was conned by Remax into paying $95, 000. When I tried to insure the house, I was told it was only worth $29, 000. So here is the first warning: If you plan on buying a new or used Oak Creek, get a full house inspection and appraisal so you dont pay 3X what it is worth. Here are just a few of the problems:
1.) Incredibly poor insulation, thin walls and poor windows. We suffer in winter, with the cold blasting in the paper-thin walls and cheap windows. I have had it 40 degrees INSIDE the house in winter, even with heaters and fireplace running. I have had it 96 degrees INSIDE the house in summer even with the a/c cranked on all day long and an astronomical electric bill. During summer, I can put my hand on an interior wall and feel blazing heat coming thru the wall from the outside! I can hear vehicles from the road 150 feet away like there is no wall at all! It wakes me up all night long.
2.) Junk siding and finishing work. The siding is not much better than painted cardboard. It is peeling up all over and if water hits it, it disintegrates. Around all the windows, the trim is cracking and developing holes
3.) Junk cabinets. Like cardboard with wood-colored stickers pasted on.
4.) Crooked doors, poor seals, wind comes in/drafty. Truly trash doors, I have to hang blankets up over the doors to partially stop the drafts. Had to tape up drafts around the door knobs and edges of doors and still the cold or heat comes in because they are paper thin.
5.) Windows again: very easily get messed up and are impossible to open, or jump out of their tracts and become crooked
6.) Walls again: dont let the kids slam a door or a whole section of the house can cave in. I could build a better house out of cardboard and wallpaper.
7.) Electrical issues, loose outlets, wiring problems, outlets out
8.) Not putting ventilation into all rooms.. Come on, people, how fun do you think it is to take a shower in a room with no heat in the middle of winter? ALL rooms need a vent from the central heat/air
9.) The shower and bath are so cheap I would expect to find quality like that in a rest stop in Mexico. Fail.. Could not even fit in a shower chair for handicapped family member into the 2" wide shower

I have more complaints but there is no room here. Fair warning to all home buyers: the oak creek mobiles may have a cute floor plan, but they are very shoddy construction, cheaply made, and not for a long-term home. Do an MLS search and find yourself a site built home. You can probably find one for the same price as a "trailer", and you will be much happier.

They got me as well. Just beginning my adventure but sick of it already. This home is cheaply constructed, inferior carpeting and the tub, I admit I have to laugh when I look at it! If I were the manufacturer I would be embarrassed to sell something like this! This home is not like the ones we were shown on the lot! We have turned in our 3 page list and waiting for action which I do not expect to be timely. We had great service while the papers were not signed but once they were we went to the back burner.

I bought an Oak Creek Homes at the Mesquite, Texas office in March 2012. I choose Oak Creek Homes because of their warrenty. The house was delivered 3.5 weeks later and when I got into it I was so very upset. There were multiple tears in the flooring, The kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets were poorly constructed. The heating system did is smalled than the space allowed for it and not screwed into the wall. I have been trying for 4 weeks to get the inspectors out for the first inspection and thus far I have not been able to get an appointment. I put $20, 000.00 dollars down on my this house. The mortage co I am financed with recommeded getting a lawyer but I have not done that. I am making house payments but have not moved in. I cannot believe that this company can get away with this for so long. I have over 200 photos plus a video if I need for legal reasons. My daughter lives in a Palm Harbor home, it is 8 yrs old and doing fine. If anyone knows of a class action suit against Oak Creek I would appriciate the notice.

I am in Dallas TX. I like my single wide, designed it with 2 master bedrooms/bathrooms. 18’ x 76’ x 10’ ceilings and vents in ceiling.. New 3/2011.
Oak Creek had to cut holes in my roof to correct HVAC duct design. Gave me the opportunity to witness the lack of insulation. BUT, I used the opportunity to pull my surround sound speaker wiring (made a little progress today).
Issues I feel are important to protect your investment,
1. Siding needs to be SCREWED (not nailed) to frame of home. (Excessive cracks in Siding, allowing moisture), caulked (I guaranty all caulking is unacceptable), primed and painted (I used 27 gal). Check bottom of panels, they will soak up water like a wick. ** Manufacturer of Product, Siding Installation Requirements NOT Followed. This was Expensive and time consuming.
2. Seal ALL Roof penetrations. First rain came in thru Fire Detectors. Neither the Maintenance Company nor Oak Creek returned my calls. Cheep fix but very messy. Roof vents not secured correctly either. **I had the reflective barrier installed; Oak Creek used 2 sheets of 3/8” wafer board with the reflective material between the two.
3. All Toilets are leaking, add (Blue Sanitizer) in tank, it will show leaks on floor. Worked on today, cannot get Toilets to seal.
4. Install some form of roof over your Doors, Water and moisture will come in and will damage floors quickly. Working to add patios and covers.
5 Gutters are also required on mobile homes or siding will not last. Installed 2 x 70 foot long gutters with 4 down spouts each side. Aluminum, 5” gutters w/larger 3”x4” downspouts. 1 hour job/ $700.
I can’t tell what your homes elevation is. If your dirt is not at least a Foot/12 inches above grade and covered with plastic, you will have a moisture problem. (DO NOT ADD DIRT NOW; YOU MUST REMOVE DIRT TO CORRECT). I made them raise mine, 2 feet above grade.
If you want an easy project you will love. Add a Whole House Vacuum System; only empty the vacuum cleaner once a month. It is great because we have dogs, cats, and mud.
Another product is a device that alerts you when moisture is present, Amazon 3 for $25. I suggest one for Return Air Vent, Ice maker, and washing machine area.
I also suggest relocating the wash/dryer to the garage, homes on blocks can’t handle the constant vibration. This presents a sensitive and daily issue at my home, good exercise.

It's too late for me! I was an idiot to have paid cash for my Oakcreek home. I wanted a modular home. They pushed me into a mobile. Yeah, they pushed, I caved. I sat with the salesman, trusted his inquiry as genuine when he asked what I was looking for in a house then proceeded to look at homes. It was raining outside as he took me to see several. I didn't see the outside of the house until it was too late; now I'm stuck with black shutters and plastic instead of the hardi-board that I prefer. The houses all ran together as one in my mind. I later realized the pantry I wanted was in one house, the kitchen in another... I did not realize this until after I gave him a deposit. I requested the deposit back. They pushed, I caved because they had my money. Now I'm stuck with a house I don't want. It's too small! There's no pantry. The outside is ugly. There's carpet instead of wood floors.
For all my cash money, I could have had a new home. Instead, I got a four year old house off the lot that has major issues. Cracks in the walls, uneven sink lines, a tear in the roof line, licked on paint-oh, but its Glidden paint-hey. It's all electric! I wanted gas! I hate how they took advantage of a weakling. The installation was screwed up too. They said they would install the house so how is that I have to pay an electrician to hook up the electric and a plumber to connect to the house. They said they would build the house pad and put concrete runners but when it came down to it they would not bring in dirt to build the pad. They made me use my own. As for the repairs, after closing they said I only get one shot a repairs! How incredible is that! I'm not supposed to turn on the water until they come out to inspect it either which may take a week or more. That means I pay a plumber to come out twice. Once to connect and again to test the connection. At closing, the lady was ready to go home, it was close to five. She hurried over each page and lied when asked questions. I got to read the documents after the fact. When we went over the page that says stop here if anything was not written that was agreed upon verbally as it will not be honored, I stopped. She pushed and assured me that the damaged door and torn blinds would be replaced as she had already ordered them. Oh, I hate this

My husband and I purchased a Oak Creek home from amarillo Tx, in about feb. of '10 and received our house in march of '10. I haven't had electricity go out but I have heard ticking and clicking in my vents that sound like mice, if I wanted nice I would have kept my old home! Not only that but I have 5 long cracks in the ceiling throughout the house and my counters look as if they are peeling from my walls, I also have a big bathtub in my master bedroom that looks as if it's peeling from the wall. The very back bedroom in the house will not warm up at all and the door is very very hard to shut. We are first time home buyers and they did take advantage of us, I would never tell someone to buy one of there homes! The service is absolutely horrible anything we call them with now they tell us it's out of their hands to call the ft. Worth factory. Mike johnson is one of the retailers and the other one is Rick, I'm not sure of his last name!

We've been in our home since July 2010. From day one it has been nothing short of a nightmare to get anything fixed. We sent in our 90 day fix it list and only half was worked on. Less than half of that was fixed right. Not only is the carpet showing seams, and has white paint splotches where paint from the ceiling dropped, and feels like there's no padding, but it was the wrong color! We asked for coffee bean and got beige. Plus there are nails coming up through the linoleum in the kitchen and bathrooms, and purple plumbing liquid stains on the linoleum on the kitchen floor. There are lumps and bumps throughout the entire flooring where carpet and linoleum were laid over trash and scraps because they didn't clean it first before they laid it. We didn't want to go through moving our entire furnishing again so soon and they offered no help to do it so we asked for a buyout on all the flooring and they insulted us with $1500.00. This is a $50, 000 mobile home and they only want to offer me $1500. 00 for my shotty, wrong color carpet, messed up linoleum floors. I still have many other things wrong with this house. Already had to replace the board in my GE refrigerator 4 days before the one year warranty was up because it quit making ice, and then everything quit and thawed. I lost $200.00 worth of food and when I emailed Audrey in Lancaster, I never got a response. She never returns emails or phone calls. I also bought my house from Tony in seguin. He got his commission and Oak Creek got their money, and now they are done with us. So much for customer service. There is no such thing anymore!

Austin sent out one of thier people and an engineer (also a oak creek guy.)..they looked the house over top to bottom and after 2 months the engineers report was sent to OC then to me.So far they have (OC) sent someone out that redid my ceiling completly and it is much better but not perfect(no cracks! all one color) now waiting for the tile and carpet people to come out.
The tile grout is bad and my carpet pad is too short and the carpet was never stretched...waiting for this to be resolved.I hopefully did not have any elec problems and I was at the house during the buildinng process and tried to catch all problems that I could when it was installed.I had the president of OC out here and he had alot of things redone before I moved in..these last things I have fought with them about and then turned over to Austin.Beside taking a very long time it finally is getting taken care of, I HOPE.

I found out the cash rewards did file bankruptcy so We can kiss that promise of ten thousand dollars good bye!
I hope Austin will see these complaints and help get these people put out of business.

I didn't realize that so many people have the same issues. We purchased our home in June o 2008 and it was not delivered until November, we were suppose to get a home from a different lot that was custom built but after it was brought to the Seguin location, they sold it to someone else while we were waiting for them to come take our old one down. We waited five months and it was problems and promises all the way though, We finally had to get a lawyer to draw up papers for them to actually get moving, One thing that was said to us was if we get a lawyer then they would stop any dealings with us. We finally got in to our home that was build and brought from Ft. Worth, altought it was not what we were told it was going to have and the upgrades we were now in a bad position because we had no ware to live., so we think after we get our new place all is good. NO! all the trash, bricks and glass was left at the site from them breaking down the old place was left behind . The first thing to go out was the electricity on one side of the house, then the crack starts outside the house and goes from the ceiling in my room all the way to the other side of the house and in the living room it is about 1/2 inch wide, and yes we called the insurance company but they refer us back to oak creek. I looked for complaints on oak creek at the time we were purchasing the home, but never found anything. We are located in Seguin, Texas and we dealt with Tony, Brook and Laura.. Good Luck to you.

I agree that the Oak Creek co. is not what it promises! we started in April 08 looking at homes..because of traveling with work we finally decide on the modular we wanted built. It was promised that we could have Christmas dinner in the new house only that it was wrecked upon delivery to our land! We were not to worry they would have it fixed...finally it or should I say the other half finally made it to our place. The people that were to put the house together stated they didnt know exactly how to install the hinged roof. The same people were in charge of putting the siding on the end of the house where it was put together..this too they did incorrectly.I had 9 pages of COSMETIC work that needed to be finished. We finally got moved in Feb 09! To make a very long and sad story short, I have since had problems with floor tile coming up, carpet not having the correct or too short of padding, cracks in the ceiling, etc., after many attemps I have contacted Austin and am awaiting the results of thier investigation of my house.I too am waiting to get my CASH REWARD of 10, 000.00 this year..I have done everything they have wanted on thier list., but
I read online they had gone bankrupt...I hold OakCreek responsible for my money they promised me.

If we are all having the same problems, someone has got to know a LAWYER to represent our complaints as a whole. Satisfaction in the form of a check from a lawsuit is our only option. My emails alone are enough to win a court decision. What do you think?

I purchased one last month and Oak Creek Homes Ft. Worth is not returning call for the initial setup. Three holes cut in roof to correct hvac, back door hits dryer because of design error, trash in all the secured plumbing areas. These days if you have expectations of quality, you are doomed for failure. This home is lumber and nails. Anything can be repaired by you cheaper than letting those idiots do more damage. Get it fixed yourself and move on, you will thank yourself. It’s like lending money. In reality you give it away and if you get it back, it is free money.

I purchased an Oakcreek Houme in January 2007 and have most of the same complaints that all of you have suffered through. I tried and tried to get Oakcreek to bring my home up to established codes as HUD and The State of Texas demands, each time I was denied and ignored. My home still remains riddled with things like plumbing on the ground, main electrical wires pinched when both sides of my home were joined. This company has to answer these problems. My half cedar log siding is falling of and wind and rain along with hail has created a unsafe home for me to remain in. I am a lung cancer survivor veteran and my doctors have suggested that I move due to mold and mildew behind the defective siding that could take my life if I keep breathing the fumes. Good News my fellow Oakcreek homeowners; Contact your state's dept. of Licensing and Reguation Enforcement Division; In Texas the Web site:www.license.state.tx.us. File your complaints to this agency in whatever your state has available, trust me, I have sent men to the hospital. www.kerry_barr@yahoo.com.

I am thinking of purchasing an Oak Creek Home. Is there a reason these complaints do not contain the Dealer, the person’s name they contacted for service, and information that could be relevant toward correcting future service complaints?

Do Not deal with Oak Creek in Houston! they used a company to lay my foundation which was horrible work. the house has many things that need to be fixed and wouldn't you know the minute the house is set I get no answers. they won't return calls or emails. so I don't have shower doors, cuts in the kitchen linoleum, a broken kitchen island. the pendants are missing from my lights.

We are getting the run around as well. When we purchased the home and moved in, we noticed that every time it rained, the electricity on one side of the house would flicker. Also, the fuse box would trip my bathroom and son's room. Well, now that we've had a wet winter, we have NO electricity on the whole right side of house. We keep calling and they have "lost us on their database" and they say that the owner of the community is liable. Then they say that the electrician who did the work when the house was placed out there is liable...I say, no...you're the builders who contracted shoddy work, so honor your 7 year warranty! I will not take this laying down... Sure, you took my money and now that you have it, you don't care of your workmanship. I will tell everyone NOT to buy your homes and I will make a sign to post on my property telling others looking to buy out there NOT to because they are CROOKS. I would also like to know about any Class Action suit.

Totaly Agree on all above post, not only will you get this from oak creek, but any other Mfg. House, What I need to know is IS THERE ANY CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE pending against oak creek ? have floor problems with our 98 model they missed some of the floor joist with the nails by more than 2", and then they tell us that it was due to our A/C leaking. PLUS on top of this most banks won't loan home improvment loans on these...

I purchased an Oak Creek home and it was finally ready to move in in July, 09. We have been in less than 4 months and I have discovered Powder Post Beetles in the wood used to construct the home. It will have to be bagged and poison gassed to hopefully get rid of them. Exterminating inspector is coming on Monday to see if he can determine the extent of the damage. I have also noticed how the attitude changed at the dealer after they received their money. I have contacted my attorney and am going to have him handle the problem. They not only are responsible for the exterminating (which I understand is very expensive) but we will have to be out of the house for probably a week. Don't know yet what all I have to move out of the house. I have a 3 yr old granddaughter who lives with me and has respiratory problems so what is this poison gas residue going to do to her. They also will owe me for the devaluing of the new home because of the beetles and for future inspections forever. This home replaced our home that was destroyed in Hurricane Gustave and we were very displaced for a year. I just can't believe we are going to have to be displaced again.

Additionally, did any of you participate in the $10, 000 Cash Rewards incentive they offered? I got scammed on that also and am considering a lawsuit against them for a the very least the $1200 that was added to my loan to participate in the program.

I really wish I would have found this web sight before I purchased an Oak Creek Home. It is only now that we have been living here for about 2 months do I realize how poorly built they are. We bought the model number 2299 out of Amarillo, Tx. My son has no electricity in his room and hasn't since we moved in. Thats right my two year old has lived without electricity for 2 months. I have been calling and calling and can't seem to get anybody out here to fix it. They already have what they wanted from us. Our floor by our front door is peeling up, our garbage disposal broke, we still have lose insulation blowing out of the vents, the air conditioner they installed had to be shut off because it was sparking, still waiting on a new door because the old one shattered when they were putting the house together, starting to think now I don't even want it because one of the other doors is already falling apart as well because they are poorly made. I just went into my 10 month old little boys room to make sure he was soundly sleeping when I heard somthing. I quietly listened, from what I can tell there is a mouse scratching around in our ceiling. How discusting. If these houses are so well manufactured like they say they are then mice shouldn't be getting in so easy. And no, we aren't dirty people. I keep a very clean house and it makes me want to cry that we just blew $107, 000 on a home where my little boys have to live with mice and who knows what else. It kind of makes you wonder what this world is coming to. All people care about is money. They don't care about you or your children or obviously what kind of environment they are responsible for building, as long as they are getting paid nothing else matters. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. So anybody out there who is thinking of purchasing a manufactured home from Oak Creek Homes please don't. They will willingly take your 100, 000 dollars and give you somthing in return filled with uncountable problems, crappy insulation, and more fermaldehyde than you have ever dreamed of. If I could afford to give it all back, I would in an instant if it meant that my kids could grow up in a healthy environment. Hope this helps you make up your mind. Thanks for listening,
Lindsey from Texas

We also purchased an Oak Creek modular home, we was promised to be in by Christmas and maybe as soon as Thanksgiving. Well that did not happen, the foundation was poured incorrectly, therefore the house was not level the back wall begin to drop so the floor was unlevel, it has been a true nightmare since we did the closing on this house. When we was looking to purchase a home from them EVERYONE was wonderful and always there to answer phone calls etc, but as soon as we closed on the house the customer service has been horrible. We got to move in our house AFTER Christmas with problems in the house, was promised they would be taken care, well this is now May and our house is still not fixed correctly, I have a list of problems I am trying to get them to fix. DO NOT BUY from Oak Creek, they sound wonderful at first but when they get there money they are HARD to get a hold of and get anything done.

Yes, our house was also built poorly. Shortly after our house was set up, we had a 3 page e-mail of problems. Finally after several attempts and threating a law suit someone finally got back with me and corrections were made-but here we are a year and a half after our house was set up, and we have cracking walls, rotting exterior, defective carpet and more, and their reaction was "well we have already made several repairs on that house-so you just need to file a complaint with the state"-which is exactly what we are going to do, along with hire an attorney and take them t0 court.

Their salespeople are definitely educated in deception-we were promised so much, and 0nce they got our money, all sincerity was gone.

My advice to anyone reading this and thinking of buying an Oakcreek Home, do some more looking, because the quality of the home is not worth the cost.
