Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Furniture

I ordered furniture for my son in his new home, from Goedeker.com on September 21, 20221, this consisted of: Dorsten Slate Chair and a Half (2) and Dorsten Slate Queen Sleeper Sofa. This was paid in full on the date of September 21, 2021, thru Pay pal.

1. I never heard from Goedeker’s, never received an email or telephone call stating that they received my order. Luckily, I had the order number as well as my receipt from Pay pal.

2. I called and emailed Goedeker’s, in November to find out where my order was and was told that the two chairs would be delivered in December, and the sofa in February.

3. After that, I never heard from Goedeker’s.

4. In January I called Goedeker’s and was told that the chairs and the sofa would arrive together in February.

5. Once again, I never heard from Goedeker’s.

6. March is here I called Goedeker,’s and they said that it would be the 27th.

7. Here it is March 25, 2022, once again I called Goedeker’s they told me that I will hear from the shipper on the 28 or the 29 of March, as to when my furniture will be delivered. It will then take 7-14 days to deliver after that date.

With the customer service that Goedeker’s has I am surprised that you have any customers. I can not understand why Goedeker’s doesn’t call customers and give them updates or makes them aware that they received their order. My son has his heart set on this set, other wise I would have cancelled this order a long time ago.

Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Horrible customer/delivery services

My experience with Goedeker's has been horrible and painful. I bought a three piece sofa set for the amount $3, 300.00. The delivery of which took more than 2 months and still not completed yet -- 1st time they delivered broken sofa and would not return instead they wanted to charge restocking cost of 20%. They use quite ill-behaved trucking company. It becomes customer's responsibility to call this trucking company and stay at their mercy as when they will deliver. I paid Goedeker's white-glove service fees, but these guys just move in the furniture inside my home and did not put it together -- left for me to assemble. Dumped all the packing materials on my driveway -- I had to pay junk pick-up these garbage. When I called customer service, they are they were the most rude people to deal with. I will urge you all consumers, please think twice before you make any purchase with these guys -- they take full payment up-front to trap you. Be careful of these fraudsters. Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Ridiculous

Three times they rescheduled the delivery of my sofa.
Three times they lied to me that everything would be ok.
Three times I was so naive to believe them.
Because of these [censored]s I have troubles at my work because there's no one who could sign up for me. I live alone.
Each time hey scheduled I took a day off. Why don't they respect their customers and their time? Thus money they were supposed to arrive, but they didn't again, so yesterday they called me and wanted to reschedule again for the 4th time. No one guarantees they won't let me down again, so I refused and asked them to refund as soon as possible.

Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings What a joke of a company! Sofa was dirty!

We bought a sofa from www.goedekers.com and delivery service was terrible! Sofa arrived all dirty and delivery team really did not care about its condition. I then contacted Goedekers and told them that our sofa was covered with dirt and they said that was not their fault and that it was delivery team who was responsible for that. One of delivery guys said that when they received the sofa it was already dirty.
These guys were absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional and both sides kept telling me that was not their fault. I was not able to get a refund or exchange and had to waste extra money on the cleaning service! What a joke of a company!

I bought some stuff from the website www.goedekers.com. I didn’t like the services of this company, because they delivered my order with the delay, as well as the parcel was in broken box and some things were damaged. I contacted the customer services and asked to return these things and return money, but they refused and told me that they couldn’t take things back. I was surprised. Please post your comments.

Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Customer service is nonexistent

Over 6 weeks to receive my order of 6 appliances, and would have taken longer if I didn't cancel one of the appliances that was supposed to be "available" but wasn't. Everything they sold me had to come from somewhere else to their warehouse, where it sits until they fill up a truckload, only then does it go out. Customer service is nonexistent. They only answer the phone for new orders. I had to return an item for an exchange, and the nightmare has started all over again. It has been in their warehouse for days being "prepared" for shipping out. No response on when they will ship it.

Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Liars and dishonest

This company lies about free shipping. In most instances, after you have received a firm, fixed price from them, and have even paid for your merchandise, they will contact you with a "shipping surcharge." The charge is never disclosed or mentioned by their sales people. In fact. they will quote the lower price to get you to buy. Several days after Direct Number 1 mousetraps into buying and you think your order is on its way, the phone call springing the surcharge on you comes! Don't believe the representations of this company. Better yet, don't do business with them. They lie and are dishonest.

Do not believe them when they give you a delivery date on ordering. They promised us shipment in 3-4weeks from 11/9, it is now 12/8 and we are told not to expect it until the 12-14th, as of today it hasn't shipped though they say it will be going out today? Also you will spend at least 20-40 minutes on hold before you even get to customer service. All we can hope is that it will not be damaged when we get it.

I would never use this company again. We have saved for a long time to update all our appliances. We inspected everything when delivered and had a smashed in GE Profile Range/Stove which they replaced. The 15 day inspection policy had passed and we were not ready to install the rest (Dishwashser Micro. Fridge) due to problems with our countertops. When we were finally ready to install the dishwasher, we noticed under the insulation a piece of plastic fell out that was glued to the back. We lifted the insulation and hidden under it was a smashed up corner. We are not dishwasher experts but this was simply hidden damage that only an expert would probably find - not the end consumer. We think this box fell on and caused the damage to the smashed stove.Most reputable companies would either refund or replace the product even after the 15 day policy due to the nature of the hidden damage. We were hung on by the Cust. Service Manager and now I totally regret using this company. An honorable company in this country would make it right and not take accept money from others in this way even with a 15 day policy. I am waiting on a call from the owner and will see if I hear or if they fix this problem.

I had ordered appliances and then later found out that I was being charged over 500.00 for delivery when none were shown on my original charge ( they claimed Santa Barabra, Ca was to remote of an area ). When I called to cancel the order they told me the order was sent out and that the charges would be reversed . Not only did I not receive the order yet ( 2 months ) and because the appliances were back ordered my credit card company had already paid the bill. I have emailed the company 3 times and called 3 times as well and to date NOTHING. I have an complaint filled with the state Attorney General but how long will that take. Nightmare company!

Thank you for your comments, however we are confused as to what specifically you are speaking about. The only shipping charge that may be extra is a ferry charge. This only applies when the shipping company applies an extra fee for having to switch to a smaller truck and pay extra fees for using the ferry, and typically only occurs if you live on an island. Unfortunately, we do not know about these charges until we set up the shipping of your item. Once the shipping company informs us of the extra fee we let you know right away. We do have this information on our website for your reference. You are not trapped into the order and we give you the option of canceling your order at the time when we inform you of the extra ferry charge and give you a full refund. Goedeker's Appliances and Furnishings Refrigerator delivery

Unless you are looking forward to an incredibly frustrating experience, do not do business with this company. Once they have your order, you are chopped liver. I ordered a refrigerator on october 5th. Today is october 27th. The unit has been sitting in the local freight depot for a week, waiting for the "installer" to pick up, but they cannot seem to locate the installer and get a firm date for install. When I call number1direct I have difficulty getting someone on the phone. When they answer and find that you are calling with a problem, they seem to out back on hold until you finally have to hang up and call in again. Looks like I am going to have to buy a new refrigerator locally and refuse their shipment and then fight them and the credit card company to get a credit. What a hassle!

Yes, see a shrink because I think you are crazy. You have a real problem. You order merchandise online and then complain that it is used...often. I am a victim of your criminal activity recently and you need help.

I am living an absolute nightmare. I ordered a GE Induction range, a GE Profile refrigerator and Whirlpool washer and dryer from Goedecker's on November 23, 2012 Two months later on 1/23/2013 at night time I received a damaged range and a damaged refrigerator that had to go back but the laundry machines seemed ok. When I finally got the stacking kit I didn't know I needed and while waiting for the contractor to arrive last Saturday, I decided to get familiar with my new machines. I pulled out the soap dispenser and to my horror there was a layer of white ### all over it. I turned it over and there was a white sticky gunky stuff inside the tube where the soap and softener are supposed to come out and a large brown spot on the container. I was shocked and speechless as I inspected the washer in more details. There are whitish water spots along with some greasy debris all over the stainless steel drum inside. The shiny stainless steel band in front of the machine I realized wasn't so shiny with signs of wear and white spots and dots all over. As for the dryer, the door is hard to open and closed and at the front edge of the drum, there are dark marks looking like dirty fingerprints.The sticker on top of the dryer has been mostly removed and further inspection revealed the upper left corner is bent. In conclusion, I received used machines. Fuming I called Goedecker's immediately and it wasn't easy to get a supervisor on the phone. Finally, Miss Shurwan got on to assure me that they would never sale used merchandises, and that in fact they don't even open those boxes when they arrive at their warehouse as they try to ship them out to customers as quickly as possible. Miss Shurwan asked me to send pictures with my reply to the email she was going to send me. I explained that it will be difficult for me to capture those small details like the soap ### inside the tube of the dispenser or the water spots inside the washer. She promised to call Whirlpool first thing Monday to inquire because Whirlpool must have package them like that. Well, this morning I received an email from Miss Shurwan stating that the Whirlpool rep told her that sometimes Whirlpool conducts random testing on some units and that would explain the condition of the items I received. She also advised me that should I chose to return those items, I would be responsible for the shipping cost and be charged a restocking fee as well. I can't even find the words to express my disbelief and disappointment that a store in existence for so long would stoop so low as to try to pass used or reconditioned merchandises for new ones to out of town customers for whom they know it will be difficult to have someone conduct an inspection or to just bring the merchandise back to them. In addition, I still don't have my refrigerator and my range which I was notified was on backorder. I called Whirlpool this afternoon, had two conversations with two different people. I was told that Whirlpool, as a manufacturer does conduct random test on some units but that soap ### in dirty dispensers sound more like used machines to them. They were sorry that the merchant in question would suggest that Whirlpool as a manufacturer would package and ship anything but brand new units to their distributors. That said, what do I do now? Does anyone have an advice for me?
