North Bergen Park & Ride review: safety

There have been several welcomed improvements being made at the North Bergen Park & Ride:
* New Waiting Area by the Back Entrance gate.
* New Waiting Area by the Front Entrance gate.

When passenger vehicles enter the Back Entrance gate where the buses come in from the yard seldom do they come to a full and complete stop, even when they see commuters walking to the existing Waiting Area as the new one is being constructed. The STOP signs need to be on BOTH the right and left of the roadway and proper striping laid down for a commuter walkway across the road. Better enforcement needs to be in place as well.

I routinely use the lot four days a week and arrive between 6:15-6:45 depending upon the day. There is little regard for commuters walking across that street and someone WILL get severely injured.
