Nordstrom the atmosphere of store in ottawa ontario rideau center

I have been going to Nordstrom more frequently in the past couple of months and when I walk in to the cosmetic department there is a very negative vibe. The most friendliest staff in that department are the few men that work there and s a few of the older women that are very plesant the young women have a bad attitude considering the Mac counter is the first place u see as it’s in the entrance I went in this past Sunday and a very nice and friendly man was helping us and needed to go the computer to put information in about a purfume I was inquiring about I think he was new and needed help asked a girl from the Mac counter for help and she was giving him attitude he smiled and was very professional but concidering your store is big on customer service to see that means the staff needs to comply with that in order for a store to stay strong and be successful the staff needs to change there snotty attitude it is a reflection on your company

Nordstrom dressing rooms

I recently was at the Nordstrom store in Alderwood Mall in Washington State. I was trying on some pants in the men's changing room area and walking by I heard a female going to another changing room. Based on what she was saying, I think she was a sales associate helping another man by bringing in other sizes. My complaint is the doors in the changing room have almost 1-inch gaps around the doors--there's no real privacy. I noted Nordstrom has done this before--they allow their female employees to routinely enter the men's dressing area. That would be fine, if the changing rooms were really private without door gaps that people can see through. I complained to the Nordstrom manager in the Men's clothing area. He was sympathetic, but I don't think he really cared. I may send a letter to Nordstrom, but only to tell them they've lost a customer--or at least to their stores where changing rooms offer no privacy. Yes, men care about privacy too! Don't you get it Nordstrom?

Nordstrom warren platform sneaker

I purchased a pair of the sneakers for $225.00 and in less than three months, the sneaker came apart from the platform on both shoes. The same complaint came from a customer who bought the same shoe.

Very shoddy construction. It is a shame, they were nice while they lasted. Nordstrom does not fix shoes. But, they should somehow make good on a purchase that should last longer than 12 weeks. I am trying to get the company, Vince, to either fix the sneaker or give me a new pair.

Nordstrom removal of trump line

The hardworking conservatives who spend money in your stores are fed up with your hypocrisy. You accept our money yet you unfairly drop Ivanka's line because of your political ideology. The responsible hardworking people of this great country are fed up. I will make sure that every person that I know, including my wife, who spends a lot of money in your stores, will no longer shop at your stores. Maybe you can cater to the liberal left. Oh yes they are on the street protesting and not working . Shame on you.

Nordstrom bad service

I made an online order and purchase a jacket from Nordstrom website. When it arrived it was damaged. I contacted Nordstrom online support and asked for a refund. They offered me a replacement but I refused and demanded my money back. They said that if I wanted to get a refund I was suppose to find their local store and return there. They said they'll call the store and tell about me.
So I went to their local store and when I explained who I was and the reason I came they immediately said there was nothing the could do. They refuse to help. I contacted the online support and they said that if the store refused to help then there was nothing they could do either. Terrible service!

Nordstrom total disrespect!

I have ordered some shoes from Nordstrom and was very excited about my purchase. This website is quite expensive and they sell really nice clothing but they usually make mistakes and refuse to fix them. Anyways, my shoes arrived on time, but the color was incorrect! I immediately contacted customer service and asked for an exchange and they said ok and told that I have to provide the return label. I checked the box and there was nothing there! Told them that there was no return label and they said oh well then we cannot give you a replacement. What a joke! It was not my fault that they forgot to put a label into the box! They said that there was nothing they could do and suggested me to donate the shoes. Well, these people here just lost a customer and I'll never order from them again!

Nordstrom very disappointed

I ordered a pair of shoes from Nordstrom as a gift for my husband. When my order finally arrived I was very disappointed since the color was absolutely wrong. I immediately contacted their customer service and asked for an exchange. They said that I have to send the shoes back. I checked the package and didn't find a return label! I contacted them again and they said that without a label the cannot accept the shoes. I am very disappointed! They sent me wrong color shoes and forgot to put a return label. I'll never order anything from them again. I'm very disappointed with their absolutely unhelpful customer service. Shoes a nice, but color is absolutely incorrect.

Nordstrom not funny!!

After searching for a good looking designer dress for my sister's birthday, i found the perfect dress on nordstrom. I was super happy about it! But when i received my order i wasn't so super excited anymore. They shipped the wrong item. It wasn't even a dress, it was a watch. I called them many times and spend hours on hold! After all that nightmare i was told that the dress i wanted was sold out. They also told “keep the watch, it is a nice present too”. I was so angry! Later i finally contacted their manager. The manager said that they found the dress i wanted and they were going to send it right away. I thought he was a real sweetheart. But no, he was not. Five days after the day that they said it was going to be delivered, i got a pair of men's shoes! I don't understand it was a joke or something else? That was not funny at all! I'll never order anything else from them!

Nordstrom seller is liar and doesn't provide money back

I placed the order on the website www.shop.nordstrom.com and the seller charged me within several minutes, but after that I got email from them that my whole order was out of stock. The seller promised money back guarantee within 30 days, but it was also lie. They simply ignored me within these days and after they informed me that it was too late to return money. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with this seller.

Nordstrom sales associates

I have an extremely disappointing experience to share at the Roseville Nordstrom store. I tried to exchange a defective handbag (the kisslock keeps popping open), and the Sales Associates in the handbag department just flat out refused to help me. They seem rather annoyed at me for no reason whatsoever! I have done nothing wrong and only wanted to swap out this handbag and (hopefully) order another style to replace it. But nope, these little bimbos think they're so high and mighty that they just refuse to even acknowledge me at all (I'm talking to you, old 4-eyed female hag and that filthy little short co-worker bimbo of yours). I tried to look around at your crappy selection of purses for an exchange, but after finding NOTHING that suited me, I decided I wanted to do an online order instead. I waited for you, 4-eyed hag, to stop calling your little wife on the phone so you can help me. But you stupid self decided to ignore me. Guess you don't want my business or money huh? Old hag? Fine by me.

I eventually drove to the Arden Fair location instead, where their Customer Service happily helped me with my handbag issues and even answered my questions in a positive manner. The sweet lady there had no problems with returning my defective handbag and even giving me my refund. Thank you Arden Fair.

I am angry at the Roseville Nordstrom and will NOT shop there again! I also don't understand why the Roseville store does not have a CS desk like Arden Fair. I was hoping to share my bad experience with the CS but apparently I can't find the CS department anywhere. So annoying!

It's really too bad. I like the Roseville location better due to the lower sales tax. But the horrible SA's in handbags needs to be taught a lesson. If you can't handle a customer with a return, DO NOT WORK THERE AT ALL. I just don't get it. THUMBS DOWN! Don't expect anyone to buy your crappy purses and be done with it, there will always be people trying to return it. Don't like it? Get off your ### and quit your job, and work at McDonalds, Gas Station, or hell, even the Bank. You won't ever have to deal with the stupid customer returns again. [censored]bags.

Nordstrom disbelief

It is a shame that good customer service can be so inconsistent within the same company. I recently received a package which was missing one of the items (Burberry Rain Boots). The weight logged by UPS clearly reflects that both items could not have been in the box. The Designer Team representative told me that I would have to dispute it with my credit card company, since I had received manual "adjustments and returns" in the past. I immediately knew this was from one of my packages which had returns from multiple orders inside of it, which was somehow lost (my mistake for trying to save them money on shipping!). Aside from that, there had been five incidents over the last couple of years where an item was either not shipped, or not credited from a return mailed in. All of these items were well under $30! Need I mention, that I have placed 233 orders over the last two years with them, not including in store business? We even bought our king size mattress from them. I was very offended that my integrity was being questioned, especially considering my loyalty to them over the last several years. I was shocked by this incident and do not plan on shopping with Nordstrom Online again, since they obviously consider themselves to be close to infallible. I never held them to that standard, and expect that with so many purchases, there would be an occasional snafoo. When deciding what to do in a situation like this, they should look at the entire picture. In this case, they only had to look at the package weight to figure out that it was considerably less than it should have been. Not refunding one pair of boots will cost them tens of thousands, conservatively, since I am 34 years old and would have continued shopping with them for the rest of my life. I hope it was worth it for them!

I attempted to get a listing of Christian Louboutin shoes that were going on sale. I called the 800 # and was connected to a store location that carried the shoes. I spoke with the most rude, kurt, and unwilling employee, who advised me that the shoes went to pre-sell today, he just reported to work, and when I asked if he could e-mail me the styles of the shoes that were going on sale, he told me that he would be very busy today and perhaps I could get someone else to assist me. I asked to speak with the Manager. A person came to the phone and abruptly told me she had just reported to work and she would e-mail me the styles without asking me what my issue was. I will no longer shop with Nordstrom as I have been a loyal customer.

Nordstrom customer service

A few weeks ago I went to the Kiehl's counter in Nordstrom to buy an eyecream. I was in a hurry so I just bought whatever the SA recommended. When I got home I saw that she had actually sold me a serum with absolutely no moisturizing properties at all! Well today I went to the counter to try to return it. The SA who was this dried up 40 something gave me a lot of attitude. She took the product out of its box and actually squeezed it. She said that it needed to be 75% full for me to get a refund...and she squeezed about 10% of it out! It was just so gauche, I was in shock! A ### SA sold me the wrong product and this even [censored]tier one wouldn't take it back. I was so tempted to make fun of her ridiculous flower/feather hair accessory (which is so 2007), but I didn't. I spoke to customer service and they fixed things right up. While the second lady I spoke to was darling, I am boycotting Nordstrom. It makes me sick that they have the worse customer service I have ever seen! The ###'s last name was Miller. I forgot her first.

Based on the complainants choice of words I would say she should stick to Walmart, Nordstroms is attractive to a more sophisticated customer.

After finding out some of the UGGs authorized dealers were running promotion. I called Nordstrom customer service for a price match, they promptly did the price-match after verifying the competitor's website and helped me put in the pick-up order at Westside Pavilion Nordstrom.

After 2 days of waiting, I checked my order status with a customer service online.

She told me something was wrong with the system, so the store never received my order. After she spoke to the store directly, she told me my order is ready to be picked up.

When my husband and I showed up at the store to pick up my order, the manager of women's shoes department refused to give them to me at adjusted price. I told her it was an order I placed with the customer service. She simply told me they don't do ANY price match on UGGs. I asked her if this is written anywhere in their price match policy. She told me it's not written anywhere but the store policy is that no price adjustment on UGGs. She further told us if any other retailer is selling UGGs at a discount, most likely they are fake. I showed her my Nordstrom.com order confirmation, but she still would not honor the adjusted price shown on the order confirmation. She told me that I have two options, 1. Pay for the full price and then I can pick them up. 2. Go to the price-match website and puchase potential fake UGGs at my own risk. She did absolutely NOTHING to help us with our order. Plus her attitude was HORRIBLE. I was totally shocked I was being treated like that in a Nordstrom which was best known for their customer service.

Then I immediately called the custmer service again, and they said they'll re-create the order and ship them to me instead; she also apologized to me about what happened in the store though it was totally not her fault. I also filed a complaint toward the manager while I was talking to the customer service, but did not tell her about the entire situation in detail which I probably should have done.

The next day, we went to the store to file a complaint hoping the store can take this matter seriously. The store manager seemed quite supportive to the other manager's decision. I also told the store manager about her bad attitude, she told me she'd look into this, but I am not so sure what will be done.

I'm writing a complaint letter to Nordstrom. Hopefully, the corporate level can do something about this.

And it's not Nordstrom that employes her... it's Keihl's. It's like a contract position. They are told that their location is at a department store rather than at a solo store. It's the same with Louis Vuitton people at Bloomingdales... they are employed by LV, not Bloomingdale's. So Nordstrom didn't hire those sales people, Keihl's did. Complain to them.

I am also writing a letter of complaint to the corporate level as the cosmetics department could not find my order in their system, and rudely told me if I contacted them before 3 pm there may have been something they could do, because the shipping people leave at 3:00. After two weeks my order never came, and they wanted to charge my credit card yet again to re-order and re-send the mascara I never got. Three days before I am scheduled to leave for Maui to get married? Yup, I'm taking my business elsewhere. Screw you Nordstrom. Hope you go under like Saks.

Nordstrom rude sales person

While visiting the clinique counter at Nordstrom, I was approached by a very sweet woman whom identified herself as the counter manager and esthestician. I told her about my psoriasis and was referred to Clinique by my Dermatologist. We were talking for 5-minutes, she was extremley knowledgable, helpful and kind, when this rude woman..margo., grabed her by the arm and said it was her turn and she was next. I had to explain all over again my skin problems and I couldn't believe how rude and ignorant this woman was. I asked for her business card and called the store to complain where my call was never returned. I left after being in shock that she would think this would make me want to buy anything from her. She also told me to go home and produce information about my redness before she could sell me any products.

This is an example of how working on commission can create a hostile work and shopping environment. She grabbed her by the arm and said “it’s my turn”. I’m sorry we’re you being helped by toddlers? Lol That was very tacky and most unprofessional of the second woman to get physical even. I can understand if she was at La Mer or even La Prairie selling 2000 dollars creams to use physical violence to get commissions from a sale like that. lol I’ve worked in cosmetics and it’s not for the faint of heart. My gosh you were only going to probably spend 50 bucks max on some clinique products and so to be so protective over such a small sale as to interrupt a consultation is very concerning. As for you the customer I would have expected you to not have purchased anything and run away confused. Ultimately you are the customer and you have a choice on any and everything so if you were enjoying your experience with the first woman you should have stuck up for her and said no thank you I don’t know who you will you please leave us alone. Things are so wacky in cosmetics though that it wouldn’t surprise me that a brand might stage that very event to boost sales somehow by the sheer shock factor. It’s why That brand that sounds like bars sells that cheek color that sounds like Morgasm. My advice to you is if your bold enough to expect a learning experience from a makeup or skincare professional then be bold and realize that you still get to choose who you will be getting the experience from not just the next cashier who’s available to assist you. These places expect you to choose but will do it for you if you have no preference. Oh also if you have psoriasis there’s not anything in that store that will correct the problem because it’s caused by your nervous system but there are things that will relieve your symptoms temporarily. There was this amazing product called by142 to whom I was lucky enough to meet the creator of and it cleared up the spot of psoriasis I was experiencing on my hand and I couldn’t believe it! He was intending for this cream to be marketed specifically to people experiencing psoriasis. Give that stuff a try

I want to know how I can put a complain on a Nordstrom manager and sales associate (shoe department) extremely rude sales woman and manager that didn't know how to listen to the problem I had with the shoes I had purchased at te Skokie Nordstrom. I purchased 2 pair of shoes that fell apart. I have been a loyal customer to this store and never again will I buy anything from this store. I know one person doesn't matter to them but I have never been treated the way I was by any Nordstrom employee. The sales girl named Rihanna I believe, do not go to her for any help she acts as if she is greater than the customer and cuts you off as well as speaks to other workers like you are not in her presence.. by the way she is there to serve the customer not have them regret shopping at Nordstrom.

I believe the women (and men) who work at the make-up counters are actually employed by the make-up brand itself, so I would go to Clinique and complain to them.

Honestly if I were you, I would have said to the second woman that you don't need her help, and then turn your back to her and continue to talk to the other way. You have the power here, you're the customer, you don't have to put up with that.

Nordstrom totally disappointed!!

I am totally disappointed and displeased with my latest online purchase with Nordstrom. I purchase two items (Michele Watch and Juicy Couture Hat & Scarf set) which totalled $216.87. I paid for the items utilizing a $200 Nordstrom giftcard I received for Christmas and paid the remaining balance of $16.87 with my Visa card. Unbeknownst to me, Nordstrom charged the entire $216.87 on my Visa card, plus took the $200 off of the giftcard. I immediately called Customer Service to find out why. I was given the run around and noone could tell me why or how this happened. I still have yet to receive my money back. Each representative that I have spoken with tells me she will handle it and get back with me. I have left my phone number several times and I still have not heard back from anyone. This experience has become a headache and I am sorry I ever visited their website to shop. I will NEVER shop online with Nordstrom again.

Nordstrom something always goes wrong

I visited Nordstoms earlier. I went to check out their Uggs. I asked them to get a the Bailey Button in size 7. First time I come they give the wrong style. Then they give me one that has a defect to it. Then on the third day I come again. Then they come again. They give me the boot. They assured me that it was size 7. I've owned uggs before so I know my size. I also came the other day to try it on too. I thought that it was a little to big. They assured me once more that It was size 7 and that nobody has ever worn it before.

I get home later and discover it is actually size 8. I've been to Nordstroms to get Uggs. I bought it. I've been to Nordstroms 3 times, and something has happened to make it worse. The wrong style, then a defect with the boot, and then the wrong size. It is tiring to keep on going back over ad over again. Can't they just get it right, the first time?

Maybe next time, they should be more careful of reading the style on the side of the box, checking to see if the shoes are okay, and then check the size too.

I love nordstroms but whenever I go there something always goes wrong. From the earrings to the Juicy Couture Jacket to Uggs...
