None-Personal ComplaintCashier corruption

I am no longer amazed that Target let our credit card information get hacked. I recently had a personal check stolen from my home. The theif went to our nearby Target location here in Alabama and purchased over $200 worth of merchandise using my check. Now allow me to ask you this question. Do the cashiers not check for identification when accepting a check? Of course they do.See the Top 10 Worst Complaints in Birmingham, AL The theif did not have my identification so how did they pass this check? How about the theory that the request was not made by the cashier. So that leaves us with the logical conclusion. The cashier was in on the transaction. So who is actually responsible? Poor management and poor employee security and poor background checks. Yes Target lives up to the name except we the consumer are actually the Target.
