Even i have gone thru this, i received a sms saying that i won 100, 000 GBP and was asked to fill up a verification form with my name and email address... i even contacted that person Dr. Anthony Floyd and he spoke to me over phone saying congrats for winning this amount... but after going thru this web site i understood that it is a fake mail...

Why cant Nokia do something about it... and try to catch these culprits for making fun of people and dupping them.

I too got a message from

I wonder if it is true or not. But I do believe that the world is not so generous that much. Nor do i think I am foolish enough to call the number given above. SO BE CAREFUL.

In fact we got an SMS saying that we won 84000 GBP from Micheal Udu in Nokia UK and we proceeded with them and sent them our information and we live in Cairo, Egypt and then we gave them our bank account to transfer the amount. Then we got an e-mail saying that we have to pay 550 GBP as transfer costs so I don't know whether this is a trick or a fraud or what i just want to make sure if so our info or bank account won't be used for any bad intentions.

I have received exactly same scam and unfortunately dint know much about him. However before it was too late, after discussing with my friends, I called my bank and asked them not to authorize any transaction without my permission. I also sent an email to these people saying I know its a scam. We really need to take more caution against such people who make a living out of robbing innocent people.

The wording and preparation of schdules do not reflect a proffecional company.
I hpoe that Nikia company will take this issue seriously and trace these scams to punish these cheaters and to be hanged in order to safe other people who will be stucked in these scams.

My uncle received a text saying that he won $165GBP. So i sent 2 emails, one to the above and the other one to Nokia Care line in Middle east & Africa
