I received a sms from Nokia Promo saying that I won 170, 000.00 pounds. Would you please tell me that this prize was right or just was a joke please.? and tell me what i do?

minites before I recieved such a message that I won some pound, but the funny thing that the munber of my mobile is very new, and my mobile is sony erricsson, how Nokia will give such a surprizes, , , it is very funny

Early this morning I have receive one sms with this message:

I didn't response since I am aware that a lot of false sms and e-mails are spreading nowadays for the benefit of those people who wants to earn instant money.

To the CONCERNED AUTHORITY - please do something to stop this kind of illegal transaction...

i got also recieved this kind of sms, i try to open the site but i cant find it...pls take action about this matter coz this people are trying to get rich on this kind of action...its a big scam...

I got the Same message, why are they asking us to send money we can cheat on them by saying, u can deduct this much acount from the cash money i won, i just wanna know did anyone get the money, if so i will try to do something to steall all there money and track them down to just grab those criminals.

They are manuplating with Nokia's name because these days everyone has a nokia phone and they can be cheated easily

hello i got that same message about the NOKIA PROMO on my mobile here in Australia, i was asked to send in my details which i did and i payed 750 AUD for the transfer of my price. I won 420, 000 USD but the amount that was paid to account was only 140, 000 USD. I want to know what happened to the remaining part of my money. I want to know who is responsible the bank or NOKIA.

LOL pages up and pages down with ppl getting this same message that I just got now. BUt still ppl are asking if this actually for real.

Im reporting the number in that they asked me to call. As I see it is different from some that has been mentioned already : ++44 [protected].

My prize was $500, 000...bah...could have gotten out of this ### apartment...if only.

Seriously annoying that I get this crap on my phone now. Also a little sad that all these scams nowadays, makes it non exiting to get a message like this, as we expect them to be fals. However it did tickle my curiousity so thought I would alteast take the time to google it and here I am.

Working in a company where we deal with money from other ppl, I have seen my share of fraudsters using other ppls details. Unfortunately it way too easy and so I give my advise to keep them to yourself.
