I too received this Offer from uk nokia this morning asking me to claim my prize in draw $100,000.00 pounds. I assumed that it was a scam straight away and hope any other new zealanders also realize it. But am annoyed that they have hit my mobile phone number.

Nokia scam of nokia promo

I received today, 27 september 2009, the same sms, claiming that i've won "(gbp) 550 pounds in the ongoing nokia mobile promo, and for claims i must call +[protected] and email "customer_nokia @yahoo.co.uk". Thanks to this webpage and other people's complaints, i won't even try to contact them.

I just recently received an email allegedly from Nokia stating I just won 200, 000.00 in (GBP). I was suspicious of the email but, before thinking through it, I provided a PO Box address to them, a home telephone number, and my full name. It was only after reading it again that I decided to investigate further and discovered that it is merely another criminal enterprise attempting to take advantage of a U.S. citizen.

I worked in law enforcement for many years and investigated fraud so I should have known better.than to even respond. The group of criminals perpetrating these types of crimes are from Nigeria and their government will not investigate, extradite or prosecute them. They have allowed these criminals to perpetrate fraudulent scams for years.

I suggest the U.S. and U.K. pass international laws allowing these criminals to be prosecuted in countries where they perpetrate their crimes. The crimes they commit are federal offenses for which they are never prosecuted.

Nokia fraudulent lottery!

Received a text message on my phone at 8am PST to "notify" me that I had won $250, 000 from Nokia Mobile Promotion.09. First question - why would I win money from them? They aren't a lottery company and I never submitted anything to them, so it was an obvious RED LIGHT to me.

They instructed me to send a scanned copy of passport sized photo with my full name to [protected]@live.com OR to call +[protected].

Don't trust them, they're obviously fraudulent.

Nokia service not provided

Dear Nokia Care:

I had a very bad experience at one of your Nokia Care Centre- Jyoti Communication .
I had given my mobile for a paid service as one of the charging port and head phone port was not working properly, they promised me to collect it after one day but they didn't deliver it on the said date . On the next day when i approached for it they returned my mobile saying that it is serviced and they have change my Hardware and Software and ask me to pay Rs.350/- when i told them that there was no software problem and it was only hardware which is not working properly, after dicussing among them selves they replied me that whether it is software of hardware you will have to pay the same amount . And confimed that they have not changed any software . They return my mobile without checking the fault . Next day when i used my mobile the problem was still persisting the same . i again went to the centre and ask them to rectify the problem the very next day but they refused to accept it and said that the time is 7 p.m passed and they cann't accept it now and ask me to come tomorrow . it was only 10 mins pass 7 p.m .

They could have taken my mobile back as it was fault on their side of not servicing the mobile properly . Those people were very rude to me and answered back without respect . It is highly shame ful as it is spoiling Nokia Brand . The people who were rude were.VICTOR AND SYED and the only person at your centre Mr.Gopal came to interven and provided me the good customer service though it was not his job. I request you to take deciplinary action against thoose two people who works as customer care representative but do not show care and respect to them. it was only due to people like Mr. Gopal you can sustain your name in the market. Kindly recognise him for his good work.

Nokia bad service

Dear Sir,

I am really frustrated with the nokia service, especially nokia service center, sector-2 noida. I purchased Nokia 5800 XM and the EMIE no - [protected] in Feb 2009. But the handset not perform good, Vibration not working, phone get hang and restart charger pin not working. I submitted it to the center and they told me that it will go to L3 because its new launched handset and you will get it back after 15 days. After 15 day I receive my handset but the issue is same, again I submit the set. They submitted the handset 5 times for L3. Some time for 15 day or 20 day but didn't receive any proper solution. When last time I receive the handset it display screen is cracked and charging is not working. Now again I submitted the handset on 1st Sept (Job Sheet no - [protected]/090901/20)and had word will Delhi Regional head and also branch head regarding it and sms me that you will get a replacement for this handset. On 23rd sept I receive call from the Regional head that collect your replacement handset. When I reach the service center they provide me old handset and told that this is new one. The Version of handset is RED but the firmware in handset is Blue. and they are saying that this is new brand set, and it’s repaired set of L3 as the handset have L3 repaired sticker. I didn't receive the set. Now I m calling Mr. Shailander ([protected]) (Regional Head, Delhi NCR) but he is not picking my call and even not replying on my sms.

Please help me to put complaint to nokia and get me my handset back beacuse from last 4-5 month i facing thsi issue, waiting for your reply

3 times nokia care & 2 times has been sent to Nokia Company by Akshay Care
Status :- Not satisfied, not able to use the handset.
last time akshay care return me the handsets by stating it is liquid damage, not repairable
My Concerned :::---- within last ten months of span my handsets given to Akshay Care, ( nokia centre ) 5 times. Its tooks approx 15 days to get return back to me each time . last time I have recd. the same after 18-19 days (After my enquiary) by giving above statment.
Its gives mental haarashments to me as my total worked based on communication, I have to borrow the handset from other.
After 4th complaints Akshay care refused me for the replacement of handset, , , , , ,
5th Complaints :-----handset nos. Key, nevigation key not working properly ... I hv demand to akshay care executive for replacement, , , , they said once again we will forwared the handset to company for repair purpose ... after my follow up on I hv come to know that handset is ready, when I visit to centre, , executive told me that it is liquid damage & not repairable ...
Why this is so? on 4th time I request for replacment & next time they are giving such statment which is not acceptable... Five times giving a handset for repairing within the ten months of span, it is self explaintary that handsets is defective ...

Requesting replacement of handset & please dont give me reson that liquid damage not comes under warrunty...

On 3rd & 4th time I have requested to your care exe. for the replacement of device which hasbeen denied by your exec. by stating that "Kuch nahi hota, Zarurat nahi hai, tik ho jayega..."
And now after 5th time you are giving such statment which is not acceptable by me ...
You have to find out some other solution for it as my money is not for charity ...
I have purchace this device of approx.Rs.7800 /- & now I am using others mobile which I have to borrowed from them ...

Nokia i am so frustrated

Dear sir or madam,

Kindly be informed that I bought a (5310 express music) nokia mobile from egypt on 19/11/2008 & this cell phone was sent to (Ring) - the service center that's responsible of the warranty - 3 seperate times, because the phone couldn't switch off, then it was sent for 3 more times to (Nokia care) because the phone couldnt switch off again & because of the camera & stayed there for 3 weeks (From 20/8 till 11/9) , & after I received it, the camera was down again!, & I handed the mobile on 16/9. Now, they refuse to change the mobile with another one, claiming that the warranty date is 10/9/2009, even though I bought it on 19/11/2008.

I know sir that nokia is one of the best cell phones in the world, this is why I chose to contact you because I believe you'll have a direct contact with them & will help me to take back my right, thanks a lot for your precious time, & please I would like to have a direct contact from you.

Have an N86 Nokia Phone since November 2009, phone started freezing, then wouldnt turn back on, put it in for repair beginning of march 2010, received it back 2 weeks later supposedly all fixed, THEN had to reset the phone as they didnt do it properly, so had to get on the internet to try and solve the problems. Fixed those problems then the camera on the damn phone wouldnt work, so called the Nokia centre as per usual it is your fault not theirs. So monday hoping to get at least someone half decent to listen to what the problems were, but NO she just talked over me and wouldnt listen properly, and told me to look up where the nearest Nokia Centre was and take it there so they could have a look at it. So at the end of the phone call she asked me to do a phone survey on Nokia...well guess what, she failed. Honestly if she had been in front of me i would have slapped her. She couldnt get my name and address right, now isnt Nokia a multi-million dollar company? and im guessing by the cost of the phones they charge us they are making a killing. What i would like to know is why they just cannot replace the phone, and give the store a credit, if i ever have to deal with these people again i think i would rather saw my foot off, as the pain wouldnt be as bad as putting up with their mumbo jumbo ### down the phone. I think when i need to upgrade my phone again it will not be a Nokia, they were once classed as the best phones, but their greed and intolerance of the public will be their demise as people wont buy their product, and will learn to branch out and give other brands a go. Nokia it is the last phone i buy from you, and if i keep getting these problems with this phone until i am up again to upgrade, i am going to take it alot further with The Department of Fair Trading, and Media attention to your company.

Within 6 months of Purchase the Nokia Cell Phone 2255 started malfunctioning. We took it to the Customer care and they repaired it ,but only after one month of repeated visits and phone calls. Even after repairing it once,all the problems weren't solved entirely.

Further, after another one month, the Handset developed cracks and further broke in 2 pieces. The Handset was not misused and was used very carefully.

I want to tell everyone that NOKIA RELIANCE HANDSETS are really very fragile. After taking it to the Customer care, they denied to service it saying that they do not cover physical damage.

Nokia repair of the mobile

I, Harsh gave my mobile Nokia 7210 supernova for repair at Nokia Care, Hanamkonda, Warangal, A.P. on 13th August (job sheet number : [protected]/090813/4) . The mike is to be replaced. The person told me that it will take maximum of 10 days i.e. before 23rd August they will give it back to me. But still after 1 month, it has not been repaired. I called there many times, but there is nor result. I mailed a person, but he didn't reply.

Nokia got sms winning a award of 500000 gbp

I have received a sms on my mobile that I have won a award of 500000 gbp from nokia co-operation uk. please note it is nokia co- operation uk .tel no +[protected] add - nokia house . summit avenue sothwood, farnborough, hampshire GU 14 ong UK . now I have been asked to send 500 gbp for courier chargers to deliver the parcel containing cheeque, winning certificate etc .

pleas advise me whether it is genuin or a fraud . should I send the money or ignore

Nokia no feedback / no updation

Dear Sir / Madam,

I was given my Nokia 1108 handset to you for servicing. My Job Sheet Number is [protected]/090908/38.

As per the job sheet, the delivery date was 08.09.2009. 08.09.2009 evening I approached the service centre, but I got the reply that “Your mobile is not ready” and once it is ready we’ll call you and inform the status. But till today, I am not getting any reply / feedback / call from the Circuit world.

In my job sheet, two numbers are given for contacting the Circuit World. The landline number (6585111) status was switched off. But initially, the mobile number ([protected]) was ringing and busy. After that the mobile number also switched off.

Whereas my job sheet status is “Closed - Repaired” shows in the www.namscareonline.com

I herewith attached the job sheet status taken from www.namscareonline.com

Kindly confirm the handset status.

Nokia battery problem & customer service

In my life time first time I have purchased Cellular phone nokia 1061 on 23/08/2009. on 07/09/2009, after 15 days mobile clearly started showing battery not charging. I went to mobile shop with Bill of purchase. I suggested me to go in nokia customer care centre No. 570_504867. In the nokia customer care center I spend two hours, there I requested one person, he told me to sit for half an hour, then one miss told me wait for half an hour. In this mean time one person come Named Colonel Kishore, then owner himself come down to serve him without coupen. He also assured him to deliver his cell phone tommorw in Rolta office. No one caring sitting persons. Then two more customers went who came behind me to the counter.
Counter lady at last called me. I told her my battery problem. I typed my job sheet ([protected]/090907/27) & told me to give my ulternate mobile /telephone number which I don't have. I told to write my e-mail ID, she rudely told me we don't accept it. Now you can go & ring on [protected] after 15 days means after 23/09/2009. See how Nokia cares the customers. No substitute battery is provided so, I don't have any option than switched off my cell phone.

Nokia officer at nokia care abu dhabi just respected the locals

I am a nokia e71 user. my memory card cant be read by the software inside my mobile. so, I went to nokia care at defence road abu dhabi. the queuing machine didnt work. so, I made a line until one half hours in front of an officer who has black skin and speaking arabic. maybe he is local or yemeni. every new customers coming without making lines behind me,.. he accepted their collection papers. until I asked him, when it would be my turn to get the service. and easily he said, I dont know. I have plenty people here... I was really angry coz he didnt respect woman at 22.30 pm still making lines for more than half hours and he still accepted locals who didnt make any queue? that s stupid ###ing crazy.. I gave him my last words. and left that imbecile person... and I hope that I will never buy any nokia. aamin.

i would like to inform you that the people are sitting there are very good people cause i am from india

and the they are arabic people and they respected me cause i was respected them if you are not help full

with the people no one will help . i will give an example i went to the service center and there was more

then 7 customers then customer came after me asking the service people the help him cause he need to go

meeting, you know what was the answer from the service poeple just ask the customers to give the Q

number and come to us we can not reject you other wise you can go and come back after you finish your

meeting Note (( that man was a Local )) all the people who was there are from India Syria Sudan

and Eygpt so please dont say some thing is not correct cause the people will not beleive you for this ...

Dear sir,
I had bought the premium nseries mobile handset of your company on 22nd september 2008 from hotspot outlet whose address is hotspots retails ltd. , 19, netaji subhash marg, darya ganj, new delhi - 110002. My model is the red coloured nokia – n76, imei no. – [protected]. About middle of july 2009 i started facing trouble with my inner display of the mobile. The inner screen would become wavy at times. I ignored the problem because this thing would happen for only a few seconds and then get back to normal. But then by the 19th or 20th of july the inner display screen of my n76 mobile handset became totally blank. I went to the hotspot outlet from where i had bought it to complain because i had taken utmost care of my handset and i knew that the mobile phone had not suffered any damage from my side. The people there told me that it was probably a small problem which would get solved just by getting its software upgraded at one of nokia care centres. They gave me the address of the nokia care centre at gole market namely m/s gulati communications, 90, bhagat singh market, near gole market, connaught place, new delhi-110001.In the meanwhile the inner display screen of my handset would come back for about one hour or so and afterwards again go blank. I could not go to the nokia care centre immediately as i suffered injury on my right arm on the 20th july2009. Only after there was some relief to my right arm; i went to the aforementioned nokia care centre on the 27th july in the afternoon to get the problem rectified. They checked my handset and claimed that there was some liquid damage to the set and i need to pay rs.4500 to get it working again. Although the handset was under warranty and i had told them that there has been no damage from my side to the handset, they refused to fix the phone without the money. As i had already bought the phone for rs.13000 that too without my husbands consent, i decided to pay the requisite amount so that at least my phone starts working again. They made a job sheet and gave the date of 8th august 2009 for the delivery of handset. As i had seen the haphazard and poor way of working at the centre, i did not go on the 8th august to collect it, instead i called them up to confirm whether my phone was back from the workshop or not. They asked me to pick it up on the 10th of august2009 after 11am. I went and picked my mobile up on the 10th august and paid rs.4500 for the job. I have a receipt with me dated 10thaugust with stamp and a warranty of 45days written on it. I took my phone back but by the 12th of august the display screen had gone blank again. As when i had gone to pick up my handset they had told me that they would be shifting the nokia care showroom from the above mentioned address to the first floor on the main road of the same market above some odeon sweets on wednesday that is the 12th of august, i did not go there that day. The next day that is the 13th of august 2009, i went to the new showroom. I met the owner of m/s gulati communications there, as they were performing a havan at the new showroom, it was not functional. I was asked by mr. Hemant gulati to submit the phone after the 15th of august as he said it was going to be a long weekend and according to him the staff would not be available to take my complaint. So knowing our indian way of working i went to the old showroom again on the 17th of august to resubmit my phone. I was issued a temporary job sheet as their computer was not working. I was given a estimated date of delivery on the 22nd august2009. As i had gone there so many times i had got friendly with mrs. Rashmi gulati, who is either the owner or the mother of the owner of m/s gulati communications. She assured me that she will personally ask her son mr. Hemant to look into my matter. I called up mrs. Gulati on the 22nd august to know about the status of my phone, she in turn gave me her son mr. Hemant’s mobile number which is [protected], as she told me that her son has been personally using my mobile. I was very surprised to know that my handset has not been sent to the factory for checkup regarding the blank inner display problem, rather it was just being used by the owner. Despite all this i called up mr. Hemant and spoke to him about the status of my phone. All he had to say to me was that there was nothing wrong with my phone and although he has been using it for the past few days the display has not gone blank. I pleaded with him to get it checked properly as i did not want to suffer mental agony due to my mobile again. I was asked by him to collect the handset on the 25th of august so as to be sure that my handset is in working order. I went and collected my phone on the 25th of august2009 from a mr. Rajinder and got my earlier receipt marked on the same date so as to get the benefit of the 45 days warranty lest my handset give me trouble again. A girl named kusum working there sighned the receipt with a note saying that my handset was delivered to me on the 25th august 2009. As i was not satisfied with their way of checking my handset, i, while returning the job sheet wrote a little note on it stating that i am not satisfied with the job done but am nevertheless collecting my handset from them. My handset worked for exactly six days and on the evening of 31st august 2009, as i had feared, the inner display screen became blank again. I called up mrs. Gulati and told her the problem, she in turn made me speak with mr. Hemant gulati. After my complaining he asked me to come to the old showroom on the 2nd september 2009, as he was little busy the next day, to submit my handset again. But as i had lost my patience and had become extremely disappointed with the nokia service, i insisted on coming the very next day to submit my phone. On my insistence he asked me to go and meet a mr. Rajinder and submit my phone and get a loaner handset issued from him on the 1st september 2009. Finally i went to the nokia care centre, gole market on the afternoon of 1st september 2009 and resubmitted my handset model no n76 with imei no. – [protected]. I was issued a new job sheet, number – [protected]/090901/22. They have given me a delivery date of 10th september 2009. But now after so much of mental, physical harassment and monetry loss i have decided to complain to you directly. I would be extremely grateful if you would look into this matter on a priority basis as not only would you be losing a loyal customer but also gaining an anti nokia mindset in return. I would like you to either get my handset rectified completely or reimburse me with a new handset of an equal value of the full amount that i have spent on this handset, that is rs.13000 + rs.4500 = rs. 17500/-. I expect to be heard and have my problem solved on sos basis from a reputable company like yours.

I have purchased a brand new piece of nokia N76 shelling out 21,000 bucks six months later i notice that the steel coating of that phone is beginning to peel off and the phone looks as if it were some duplicate make, i dont know if this is the manufacturing defect or is it that the pieces sold here are duplicate, mind you the shop i bought it from is one of the popular shops in hyderabad.I have approched costumer care in hyd they have made duplicate coating and after two it started peel again so i want to replace for new piece i am taking it very seroius

I have purchased Nokia N76 1month back from Indiatimes.com with 1yr warranty. Within 1month my mobile sliver color panel is losing color.

So i took to customer care center in Bangalore / Indiranagar for repair or replacement, but the people at customer care where not responding to the problem.

Now Indiatimes or Nokia people are not communicating with me. A product which i bought for 23K is not worthwhile.

Bought a highend mobile thinking in mind that the customer care support and product support will be good. But totally got cheated.

The metallic chrome plating just peels off. battery life is v poor. SW firmware is v unstable. and loads of ather problems. But the most disgusting is the chrome plating which started peeling off after the 4th day from purchase. Nokia has a discussion forum where this has been mentioned but nobody at Nokia is bothered about it.

And then they say that Nokia means Quality.

Yes. I 100% agreed this statement.

I had purchased Nokia N70. The silver panel had come out within the warranty period. The customer care people asked me to go to the service centre. But the service center people told they won’t change the casing. There is no guaranty for the casing. I had purchased the phone for Rs.23,000.00 and within 6 months the problem occurred. I sold the phone only for Rs.6,000.00 and bought a Motorola Rocker model. It is cheaper than the Nokia N70 and the performance also good. It is a touch screen phone also.

After that I learned one best thing about the Nokia.

“We should not go for Nokia high price mobiles. One is service problem another one is the O/S”.

Nokia nokia care dont care about customers

I bought a brand new nokia 7210 supernova cell phone with one year warranty n after 4 months, MIC was not working ( outgoing voice ). I gave to the nokia care on 21 july n after so many visits n call i got the cell on 11 aug with the same complaint my handset back either repaired or nt, again the same situation on 26 aug09, still on 1-sept-09 i m waiting & struggling to get.i dont kno why such a branded company is givin the worst service.in my life wont buy nokia phones n would suggest other to buy cell phones other than nokia.

Please help me to get the same.
