Nokia worst service from nokia care

I own a nokia 6300, my handset had a problem I couldnt hear the callers voice neither the caller could hear my voice, power switch was not working. I had given it for service to a nokia care in bangalore indira nagar and got it back after a month delay.

After a month of usage my handset had the same problem again. I have given it for service in nokia care bangalore this time in koramangala as the nokia care in indira nagar had closed down their shop.

The nokia care ppl told me that some seal had been removed and informed me that I had given it to local service centers for fixing it. Which I havent done (my warranty is still valid and there is no reason I should go to the local service center). Now they would charge me for the service...

The treatment in nokia care centers are below standards. They shutdown at sharp 6:30 pm and no service person is available till 10 to 10:15 am although they claim to work from 9:30 am. Called up their customer care no proper response. Their sms based service to check the handset status provides inappropriate responses.

Nokia is going to die, its been a good month and my x2 is still under repair, bran new in condition. what the [censor] are you Finish [censor]s doing with electronics, i'm oging to buy a samsung, coz you [censor]ed up [censor] have made life miserable for me, it was the third time that i had to go and get my phone and to no avail

battery problem

Dear sir,

I have Nokia6600 with BL-5c battery. mobile is working properly. but having problem in battery. battery backup is less from some days. battery get down(discharging) for every day without using more. so i removed that battery & then reinsert it to mobile. but again same problem. but i saw the condition in battery. battery thickness get increased(1/2 %) more compare to normal size. i think it will get explode within few days, if i charged.

so what can i do for this condition.

The bl-5cbattery replaced by another one, but the same too not properly w orking and storing the charge in aproper way. I think that the battery supplied is not a new one and it may be a used one or defective one. Please do the needful to replace the battery at the earlist

Nokia faulty phone set

For last 7 years, I have been using Nokia communicator only. first 9200 then 9300 and now E90. I have always believed in the product and service of NOKIA. But this time, I have bought the new E90 from Bangkok around two months back and got it home to find that I cant connect it to computer due to faulty mother board. Went to sales out let and they told me to download the soft ware, I tried telling them that I am a regular user and I have software already. but they refused. So I had to go to Nokia Care. They checked and decided to keep the phone to send it to main service station. I got the phone back only last week and they told me that they have changed the mother board. I was surprised and asked them, if they had to change the mother board, they should have given me the replacement as now its a repaired phone. But they did not agree. Any way I brought the phone and found out that this time their is lot of noice of disturbance to me and to the other side party , when on call. Again I had to go back to Nokia Care and again they have taken the phone and told me that come back after ten days. Their job No. is JNK9071001556 Dt. 21/10/2007. for the product no. IMEI; [protected], product code; 0544496 .

I can not understand, what has gone wrong with Nokia quality and service. I have bought the costliest phone by them and could keep the phone with me only for ten days and rest of the time the phone is with Nokia Care only. Why I paid so much o fmoney if again I to use the repaired phone. Why cant they replace the phone instead.

Kindly look in to it and advice.

Nokia very disappointed with the service

Hello,

I purchased nokia 6300 on 5th september and then got a display problem on 13th. Went to nokia in green park, delhi met manager amit sharma and told him. Asked him to replace the handset. He did not and i was forced to get it repaired. The whole display was changed and since then i got lining problems and hang problems. I went to the dealer and again to nokia, they wrote that if possible for dealer, then can get my handset replaced.

Then i met nokia Delhi incharge, name amit mobile number [protected], called him for two weeks, he said that he is putting up an email but nothing happened. He never took my call. Then i wrote a complaint to nokia on internet. This is the second time i am writing a complaint on internet. I got a call from nokia headquarters in nokia from mrs mohini saying that they saw my issue, will replace my handset with a new one. After three weeks they said that me to go to south ex outlet. Went there, met the manager Mr inder and they were giving me second hand used handset. Now when i noida they don't pickup the phone.

I purchased a nokia n 95 from Doha qatar, in December 2007.Used in Calicut, Kerala in India.since then had problems of hanging when operating/viewing vedios.After just a year was passed, one day, the phone started glow light in the display without operating it and could not stop it as none of the keys worked.
The set was sent back to the dealer who cut a sorry figure and said the repair cost would come QR1700 almost the cost of the new set that time .

I am still keeping it without being able to use it, hoping that some thing can be done through the company if taken up the case with them.I could finsd a suitable forum now only to notify the case through this media.

I PURCHASED NOKIA 6210 ON 2ND SEPTEMBER 2008, AND RECENTLY GOT A DISPLAY PROBLEM. I WENT TO NOKIA SERVICE CENTER, AT MUMBAI ( M/S. HARMONY AUDIO, 9/15, MAMA PARMANAND MARG, OPERA HOUSE, MARINE LINES, MUMBAI ).

SINCE THE PHONE IS ON WARRANTEE, THEY PROMISED ME TO REPLACE THE MOBILE THE SAME DAY.

BUT I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED THE PHONE BACK. I HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY VISITING THEIR SHOWROOM 5-6 TIMES, DAILY FROM 06.04.2009, BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY PROPER RESPONSE, AND THEY REPEATING SAME ANSWER THE PHONE WILL BE REPLACED TOMORROW. EACH AND EVERY VISIT THEY RETAINING THE SAME ANSWER COME TOMORROW YOU WILL GET THE PHONE. I HAVE FED UP WITH THIS AND I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY TAKE UP THIS MATTER AND ARRANGE TO GET ME BACK THE PHONE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.

i have nokia E90 with IMEI number [protected] and i bought it for Rs 33, 500. last year in june and since then i am having problem with this handset.
initially i was having software problem with this handset but
In december this set was switched off automatically and after that it couldn`t start then i sent the handset to nokia care and then after 15 days i got it back and they gave me the in not a very good condition as it has been repaired and there was an hardware failure in the set.
After 20 days this handset again have another problem i.e the keypad stops working automatically again i sent it to nokia care and after another 15 days when i got my set back the same problem i faced again with my hand set and again the handset was sent to nokia care for repairing..
the thing is now i dont want this defected hand set back and i want it to be replaced
but i have no one to support me due to which i am trusting this consumer complaint forum and i hope u will help me on this issue..
hoping to get positive response and i get my nokia e90 replaced with a new one..

i purchased nokia 3600s on 3rdoctober 2008 and then got a camera problem on 9th. Went to nokia in shradha communication haldwani, nainital met some officials . they can not repair my mobile and said to me that your mobile has a big problem we sent it our delhi service centre . after 10 days it will come with us and you will get it. after 15 days i went there to take my mobile but the official told me that your mobile came in our service centre but the problem is not shortout. we send it again delhi and you will come after 12 days .
sir i am very disspointed with your facility. please replace it or repair it soon. i am in very difficulty without mobile because i sold my old phone.

Nokia set not working

I bought nokia cell phone model no.6233 on 06.09.07 from m/s. Monalisa dlw varanasi (Up) vide bill no.39 dtd.06.09.07 for rupees 8200/-
The detail of cell phone is as under.

After 15 days it started getting switched off of its own. The moment its put on automatically it gets off. Also battery back is very very poor.
I went to the shop from where I bought the set on 26.09.07 & shown him the set, he in turn spoke to mr. Ankit agrawal perhaps nokia dealer in varanasi. Mr. Ankit agrawal asked me to hand over the set to m/s. Monalisa dlw varanasi, I gave the set in original packing along with original bill same time, mr. Agarawal said I will try my best to replace this set with new one. Again on 28.09.07 I asked mr. Agarawal the status I was told that 99.9% it will be accepted for replacement as this has gone to lucknow. On 03.10.07 again I asked the status I was told request for replacement has been accepted & your replacement will be sent to m/s. Monalisa dlw varanasi & you can collect from him, I told him that I shall be out on official tour till 10.10.07, he said when you come back you can collect your set. When I called on 11.10.07 to mr. Agarawal, to my surprise I was told that request has been rejected & this has to be given to nokia care for repair. Then I contacted mr. Divesh ajmera & explained him the problem he also said that it can not be replaced & has to go to care, I told him if this was the ultimate result why it has been delayed somuch, where is my set, it was in lucknow. Mr. Divesh ajmera said that he will find out & call me back. But no response. Again I called him then he spoke to mr. Agarawal & asked him how he has said so, but ultimately I am victim.
To day I spoke to mr. Agarawal then he said that my set is given to nokia care varanasi by his staff. I do not know whwn I shall get back my cell.In this regard I spoke to mr. Sujeet chakborty & mr. Vivek dixit they are from sales of nokia in up east. I tried to contact tele. No.[protected] but could not get.

My humble request is to please help me to get my set replaced.

Nokia should work on its quality & quality control, why there should be problem in very short span of time. Nokia is very reputed company, but as I have seen on many many complaints in short span & their service (Nokia care) is very very poor.
Why should one wait for so much time for repair to get his small problem encounterd 2-3 weeks time.

Please provide me the contact no. & name of the authority responsible for such type of problem.

I can see in the complaints that sets of nokia giving repeated problem after repair. Please take it serious, else I shall be forced to knock the door of consumer forum in varanasi.

Nokia waste after sales customer service

I had given my Nokia N73 mobile phone for repair to Nokia Care on 01.09.2007 (as an evidence I have job sheet given by them). On 01.09.2007, when I was given my mobile for repair they told it will take 1 week to repair. I went on said date they told sorry, there is major problem therefore it will take another week, this time it is 100% sure you will get it repaired. I said "ok". Again I went on same date, they told " Sorry H.O. not yet sent it to us come after 2 days". Like this I am fooled by them several times, till date (08.10.2007) I did'nt received my mobile, already 38 days are over. Whenever they told me "it is not yet repaired, come after ... days", I used to say ok I will come on that date. I acted in good manner with patience. But there is limit for patience sir. I am pacing so many problems from last 40 days they don't know it. I paid Rs.24,000/- for that mobile, so that it will function best and if it all there will be any problem, Nokia Care is there na for my help. but everything went wrong. Now there is no reason left to believe Nokia Care. I will wait for another few days and go to police station, really I am very upset with this point. After all I invested Rs.24,000/- for that, even not 1 year also over. That that investment is for 1 year that's all.

i bought nokia lumia 800 on nov 2012 for rs 19700 . not even 6 months went off my mobile suffered a problem in charging socket and problem in body paint peel off. i was asked to come 10 days later. i went on that day, the people in nokia care lost my sim tray. i was again asked to come 20 days after(nearly 1 month over). the problems were rectified temporally and returned to me one month after. nokia stopped extending the warranty services for my device. not even two months over from the repair the same problem exists again. when i approached nokia care they are demanding rs 10000 for rectifying the same issue which is occurring again and again. the people also accepted that it is a technical fault. no one from nokia hearing my queries and repeating the same answer "pay the cost". i asked them to take the matter to their higher officials or through my call to their higher officials but no repond from them! i am tired of this matter! please anyone help me!

Nokia product & service - total failure!

I bought a Nokia N6131 in Nokia Authorized dealer on 05th Nov 2006 and the product had two complaints just 6months after it was purchased. One was the Nokia charger failed completely and two the Mobile started showing SIM card registration failed and started getting switched off often. I had taken it to the Authorized service center and they told me Nokia does not cover charger after 6 months and i need to purchase new one which i did immediately and the SIM card registration failure was attended to. But 10 days after this the complaint started coming back and me being a frequent traveler was unable to use the phone for quite long time. I took it to i was told the best service center in town the second time and there also they took phone and returned it back saying everything is normal. But after 3 days of service i started having the same problem again. I'm now using my Nokia phone as a MP3 player listening only to Music and i ended up buying a new phone to use my sim card.

Nokia completely failed in its service and also if it is going to deliver such sub-standard products it is better for everybody to think before buying as your Mobile may not be a good one every time and you will end up wasting / losing money and time.

Nokia no replacement of handset even after sending a legal notice to the company

I purchased a Nokia 3250 mobile phone a year ago. It cost me around 18000 Rs at that time. Just 2 days after getting the phone, the phone started getting some technical faults. When I consulted the dealer, I was asked to go to one of the Nokia Care Centers at Bangalore. As directed, I visited a service center at Jayanagar. They asked me to go to the L3 service center at Koramangala. When I got there, they took my handset for service and gave me a job card. I was asked to come back after 3 days. I waited for 3 days and collected my handset. Two hours after collecting my handset, it started developing more problems. I called them back the next day and they directed me to give it for a second service. I did so and received my handset after around 4 days. The phone functioned fine for 2 days after the second service and it developed more complex problems after that. Then I tried contacting the Manager of that service center. He asked me to give it for one more service. When I asked him to replace my handset with a new one, he said it is not possible to replace until we feel that we cannot correct the problem. After a long conversation, he said he would replace my handset within 15 days. Though I asked them, I was not given anything in writing. They assured me that my handset would be replaced. One week later, I gave a call to check if my handset had arrived. The manager told me that it would take one more week and he also assured me that it would surely be done. One week after that, I called up the manager asking him if my handset had arrived. Initially, he spoke to me softly. Later he started speaking rudely and he said that my handset was ready. He also said that it was not replaced, but repaired. When I asked him about the assurance that he had given me, he said that it would not be replaced and though I was trying to ask him something, he hung up the phone. Without knowing what to do, I went there and collected the handset. From that day, my handset started developing more complex problems. It was serviced twice unofficially(without any job card). During these days, I was asked to call up nokia care line ([protected]) and every time I called up, they would find some reason and put me on hold. Each call would last at least 30 minutes. I have called that number at least 30 times by now.

In October 06, my advocates sent a legal notice to Nokia India Pvt. Ltd. telling them about everything that had happened and directing them to give a replacement to my handset. Few weeks later, they replied, asking for some information about the phone and my contact details. We replied back with the details that they wanted. Probably three weeks later, they replied saying that they needed time to process my case and would surely help us out. Till today, I have not received any call from anyone in Nokia. There have been no more replies from Nokia. Right now, my handset has so many problems that it is extremely difficult to use it. Many keys on the keypad have also stopped functioning. Currently the phone is in a very bad condition. Almost in a condition where it is not possible to use. I am facing too many problems with it.

I am also facing same type of problem. I gave my N72 2months back with some problem of "Hangign" the hand set . I called at [protected] but they gave only the consolation that they will try there level best and they even dont know what is the state of my Handeset and where it right now .
I am very dissapointed with the response of the company.
Now i am sending a legal notice to Nokia regarding my Handset.

Nokia selling duplicate products at its nokia care!

I am to going to sue nokia i had bought n70 a year back as few days back my display went blank, so i went to nokia care andheri. They replaced my display for rs 2000 they gave me my phone back after a week and gave the bill for the same but those bit**es broke my whole phone. So some features were not working when i went to Nokia head office they gave me proof in writing that the display nokia care replaced for me, was duplicate. So now i am gonna sue those bi**hes i have already registered and fir at police station and same has been registered at consumer court.

Nokia poor quality handset

Within two months of purchase, I had to take the phone to service centre for bad mic problem. Mobile was taken to second level repair. After a month again the joystick has started giving problem. After much deliberation I had chosen Nokia after listening to so many complaints from so many people, but I think i should have heard all these peoples. Nokia is not worried for the quality of the phones, this is realized when you go to any service centre of nokia and you will come to know how often the new phones start giving problem.

I had used another brand for 3 years believe me I had to take it only once to service centre because it had got wet.

hiiiiiiiii, i have a nokia N73 music edition, but last few days there is some problem in that.evrytime i on the phone, its shows the message, MEMORY FULL, DELETE SOME DATA, but the thing is that, mine memorycard is 1.5gb free space available, and i d'nt use phone memory for, data storage, only the contacts, and calender is there, but its shows that 44mb is full, and i unable to have any text message, any cal log, evry time i used to switch off the phone and further on it to have the message.the phone memory backup shows 39 mb .NBU file.rnpls help me regarding the problem, its very much irritating to have such kind of problem in cell, pls pls help me

Nokia screen started blinking

Hi I have passion of Mobile Phones & i've been using nokia mobile handsets from last 9 years which includes 9500, 9300, 8600 (luna), E-90, E-50 & 6300 in my collection.I bought a Nokia E-[protected] from Mumbai on 23rd Jan 07.It is a good handset. One day while using the phone suddenly the screen started blinking. On showing it at the Nokia service centre i was told that the problem is with the software & they would re-install the same. I paid them Rs.350/- for the same & the handset was handed over to me again in working condition. I have all the documents of the same. After a months time again there was a problem & voice was not going out from the handset.When i gave the same to the nokia workshop the Guy called Vivek who handled the handset earlier also told me that mic of the handset is not working & he would get it replaced. After 15 days when i went to collect the handset i was told by vivek that he has placed the order but the mic has not yet come. Further when i inquired about the availability of mic in bhopal i was told that it is available but i have to give the handset in bhopal service centre. I took the same to bhopal & gave the handset at Bhopal service centre vide receipt number [protected] dated 31st Aug 07. Now after all that the nokia care people say that it is not repaired yet. Someone suggest.

Nokia phone dead!

I had purchased Nokia 3250 on 5ht september 2006, the very first day i had problems with it, after rotating the keypad 180 degree's ie to music mode, it was not starting the MP3 player, also the 4 buttons of that keypad were not functioning, i approached the Nokia Authorized Center in Lower Parel, in Pheonix Mill Compound, Named BrighPoint. They took the phone and then repaired it and gave after 2 months, after 6 six months from repair, the phone died and was not starting. Its top rubber was eroded, but the button was functioning well, still they gave back the phone saying physical damage, after that i approached HCL Infinet, they say that the main board is tampered and will not replace the phone and repairing will cost 12000 rs, certainly i will get a Moto Ming at that cost, now i m thinking of launching a consumer case against these people, they can market their products but cannot repair or replace inspite of being under warranty!

I don't trust this brand anymore and wish it will stop functioning after few years! Useless!

I have submitted my Mobile handset Nokia 3250 on 18.05.2007 to your Nokia Care Center, Preet Vihar, Delhi. It is sorry to say that in spite of repeated reminder and visited several times to Nokia Care Centre. But I have not received my mobile phone as yet.

In this context I have met with Shri Bharat Malik, the O/I of Nokia Care Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi for redress of my complaint but all in vain.

Since it is in guarantee period till August 2007. A line in reply may kindly be anticipated with in two days otherwise I have compel to go to consumer court for necessary action.

I got tarpped with my mobile in the heavy rain 2mths back. Effecting my mobile's memory card and keypad IC not working. I tried with 3 repair peoples they couldn't do it. Even nokia care people failed to search the problem. I am not getting original memory card IC for it.

almost same problem the phone was affected by water and it was taken to nokia repair centre somewhere in london it came back a little rugged, and then 4 months later it started behaving funny wont power on until it's been charged I first thought it was the battery I got another battery but same problems, then now i't not even powering on anymore, charge or not!

Nokia nokia e50 phone keys dead no update from the company for 20 days

I purchased my nokia e50 with (from a nokia dealer). The developed a problem within 6 months of purchase -the joy stick, select and options keys have gone dead and thus rendered the phone unusable.

I have turned-in the phone in Nokia Care - Kellys - Chennai on 7th September 2007 and was told that the phone has to be returned to the factory. Since then there has been no word on when or whether I would get the phone despite repeated calls to the Nokia-Care-Kellys. Poor product and service.

Nokia battery replacement!

I had submitted the 26 digit serial no. of the battery through product advisory of nokia.co.in on 15th August 2007. It is more than a month and I am yet to receive the replacement. No customer care telephone number,no email assistance. Waiting for the courier to come! Unable to use the phone due to faulty battery. Nokia's Customer Service officers at Bangalore are the WORST in the whole world. They don't know how to serve the customers. VERY VERY disappointing to note that the world's leading mobile manufacturer has world's notorious customer service center in India. My sincere advice to buyers of mobile phone: NEVER THINK OF BUYING NOKIA MOBILE PHONE IF YOU WANT BETTER CUSTOMER CARE AND AFTER SALES SERVICE.

HI friends,

I want to share my experience with NOKIA cell phones with you and want to ALERT you regarding the drastic drop in it's quality in recent years.

The Nokia that once upon a time was famous for it's quality and thus managed to get a upper hand than other player is now not the same.

Here are my experiences and sure that I am not the only one:

1. I bought a Nokia 6670 and after 1 year it's keypad started giving some problem, I took it to NOKIA care ( bigest mistake) they told me that there was some problem with keypad and they fixed it and charged me around Rs 300 but after one week same problem came again and after a long struggle they were ready to repair the phone again but again the same thing and after 2 weeks it again had the same problem. I thought that Nokia care center has some problem and took it to different nokia care they charged me Rs 650 and told me that they have fixed the problem but after 1 week the phone again had the same problem and when I took it again they fixed it but again after 2 weeks that phone stopped working after that neither I had time nor money to spend so I decided to buy new phone. But the excellent care of Nokia care didn't stop here please keep reading.

2. I bought a Nokia 2626 and on the first day I found that the display had some problem and the dealer had replaced the phone (again the quality).

3. I got a replaced Nokia 2626 and it worked well for 2 months and after that suddenly one day it stopped working and when I gave it to dealer, after 3 weeks he informed me that it is water damage and said that Nokia is asking rs800 to repair the set but I am 100% sure that the phone never came in contact of water but still I though that set may have come in contact to sweat bc's I can't think of any other reason.
So I collected the set from dealer and gave it to Nokia care myself and after 3 weeks this is the reply that I got

"ELS failed.liquid log on system connector, INTER track MISSING, so not in warranty can't be repair so RWR"

I don't know how without anything the set came to this state and when first time nokia was ready to repair it for 800 how come second time it can’t be repaired. I am sure that now nokia care is full of incapable guys who has no or very minimum knowledge and I can't have more strength to be with nokia and switching to motorola.

In case you have any plan of buying a nokia phone I will suggest you to visit any nokia care shop and you will come to know about the customer’s frustration with the quality.

In case anyone knows about any legal possibility in this case and had such experience please let me know.

I had purchased one mobile 5300 in the month of August 2007 and now it is causing me lot of trouble the mobile battery is gone down not working properly since whenever i call up somebody, or i listen to the songs the battery goes down, and i am really upset with it. Also my headset is not working properly and if any body calls me up i cannot pick up the call and speak thru my headset it is so embarassing even if i am in train or bus i have to talk thru the mobile itself.

Please do something regarding this prob.

I do agree with Jyothi Krishnan. I am also having the same problem. I purchased new mobile for my brother and because of issues with NOKIA Batteries, I checked on the Website and came to know that my battery is also part of the faulty component sold by NOKIA. I tried several NOKIA Care but all in vain. ALways NOKIA care people will guide to go somewhere else but if you ask them for purchasing of new Battery they will definitely entertain you.
I don't know what if this Battery blast.

I am very disappointed by seeing this.
So, a suggestion for people that Never Never purchase NOKIA phones.

I purchased NOKIA N-70. Something has gone worng withe th phone. Phone is not working. I have handedover to NOKIA CARE vides [protected]/070922/57 dated 22/09/2007. Still I am not received any responce. Phone shoiuld be retuned in a weeks' time. i am loosing abusiness.

Your company is absouletly failed to fulfil the after sales committments & that to of a sub standard quality. Look in & returnt teh pohoe to a customer or if the same is not repairable repalce it. Instrument is within the gurantte period.

Nokia poor quality product!

I am proud and I feel privilege that I am associated with Nokia (Connecting people private operator of india) but I feel sorry to say that your services are like government departments once customer is buy your handset you think that you had become a dictator and customer is will act as puppet. Which is not good for future. because day by day market is going competitive. Sorry to say your services is very very poor.

I submitted my set nokia n73 ME at nokia care center Phase 5 mohali (I m sorry to say these words persons associated with such an reputed concern, they don't even know how to behave with customers, they use very rude language) 02-August-2007 and received on 14-august-2007 but problem as not resolved no display changed and more over ear piece is damaged and whole body had lots scraped. Needs to be display & handset body to be changed as per new job sheet mention. Again i am submitted my handset same day to Nokia care with new jobsheet after discussion with Nokia Careline executive (Reshma & Shashi). Till date i am not get any status and phone.

This is to bring you in notice that your management at main service centre in lajpat nagar, delhi is worst, irresponsible, careless, mannerless and all what to say.infact old service centre that was in the basement in lajpat nagar was superb never had the complaint with the management or with the given service earlier.but this new staff is botherless no sentiments about their customers, being rude with the customers which is not at all expected from NOKIA the brand on which the people trust.that to all this happening in Delhi the major city.The management can make company's name and can even spoil company's name that is what nokia people in delhi doing.maximum people are now scared from submitting their handset for service..one day people ll be scared from purchasing nokia handset as one year warranty ll be of no use.
Few days back i submitted my nokia handset at nokia care centre lajpat nagar, delhi.while submitting the handset i was been told that by evening we'll call you at the given number and let you know whats the problem and how much time it ll take so that i can make a move for my home town meerut.but i dint get any call and when i tried to contact the service centre on the number printed on the job sheet to know the status of my handset no one bothered to pick up the call and answer.after two days i went to the centre to know the status i was told that it will take time as i had to leave for meerut i asked for any contact number so that i can know about my handset i was given with one number and said not to call on it just message on it and we'll get back to you.so, i went to the home meerut and after 3 days messaged on the umber to know the status atleast to know what went wrong with my handset but noone messaged or call..after few days they picked up the call and behaved badly.this thing went on for 25 days and then i went to delhi to pick up my handset i received it in such a bad condition but still noone cared to answer or listen.
Being the holder of an expensive handset this not at all accepted from the service centre staff not to even attend the customer to tell what went wrong with his handset, when he can take, and such a harsh tone.i think first they should be taught how to how to deal with the customers and what are they?

I am writing to you this complaint for your poor and disgusting service of your NOKIA care centre at Bangalore. Let me tell you some brief about my story, I purchased a nokia N73 model mobile set from Mobile Zone(No-16/2,Buddha Vihar Road,Cox Town, Bangalore-560 005) on 05 June, 2007. after some days the set start giving problem , when i use to call up someone or someone use to call me i could hear them properly but the other person could nothear me at all( Communication Problem) and the phone use to get restarted automatically.
So I submitted the mobile set to your service centre at nokia care at Coles Road. In the month of October twice first time thay said Virus problem they need to Format memory card and handset memory. they gave me back my handset within 15mins i came back home again i had same problem with handset, so again went back to them on 27 october 2007 I received the same mobile after 30th October 2007 , and according to your centre the mobile was sent to Nokia head office and it was serviced completely . But with in two days the mobile start giving same problem also apart from the hearing problem my handset used to get restarted automatically.

I have submitted my handset today again with Nokia care centre, and they said the problem is in Software and they will send it to Head office for rectification.

The people who work in Nokia care center dont even have manners to speak and you have to wait for hours together when ever i have gone also i have bunked my office twice just to get my hand set repaired.
. Today i have also called Nokia Customer care at Bangalore which is 080 [protected] and I logged a complaint on that number, they gave me my complaint id number which is 2-2m8nsn and they have asked me to call them back on 20/11/07 and they will tell me the exact status of my mobile set.

Now I am expecting Nokia to replce my hand set and give me a brand new hand set .

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your kind notice the following information for your immediate attention and action.

Being a customer from South Karnataka (Hubli) I had purchased Nokia 6280 Series on (08/12/2006) .with EMI bearing NO. [protected] Within two months I noticed a complaint that my set was on Camera Standby mode, which was immediately notified to the dealer (Nokia Priority) who attended to my complaint I was given a set with new EMI bearing No. [protected]. After 2 months.

After using it for 4 months, again for the second time the same problem persisted, for which I had to approach the dealer and handed over the set on 28.8.2007 for rectification. After 2 months I was told that the set cannot be repaired and hence I was given another EMI bearing NO. [protected].

Immediately the very next day there was the same problem where the set was again handed over to the dealer.

Looking to the above repetition complaints, I would like to demand for New Model set of Nokia of the same price at today’s market price.

Hope the matter is clear, and expect your good self to look in this matter and sort out the issue at the earliest failing which the matter will taken seriously.

i had by the nokia N70-1 in month of july 2007
and in next month i have got charger problem i had replace charger in next 15 days
again i have problem in instrument that is charging
i have submited mobile in nokia care seens last 20
now also dont get delivery or proper information about my handset.

am one of the unfortunate owner of a nokia phone, with a 5LC battery, that comes under the endangered battery eligible for replacement. On 28th July, I went to their website, punched in my battery serial number and was happy to see that it flashed a message that the battery would be couriered. in fact after a couple of days, it said, that the battery was couriered on 28th itself! what efficiency! Till today, nothing. In the meanwhile, tried calling up their helpline ( A Banglore number, for which you pay STD charges) and after some automated messages, hung up after five or so minutes. Then, we approached one of their "Priority Centers" who directed us to NOKIA PROFESSIONAL center. There, they said that if I had not put in the web request, they could have replaced it across the table! They said that it now will take its own course.

I called up the Bangalore number. Waited for ten minutes and then got through to an employee (call center ) called Neeta. She asked for my name, phone number and the battery serial number. Then she gave me the information that "YOU WILL GET IT BY COURIER". I asked her whether it has been couriered or the likely date, month and year when they would courier it. She snapped back saying that it has been couriered on 28th August. I asked her for some courier details like consignment note number etc for follow up. She said that they do not keep such records. Obviously, it has been lies all along. I then asked her to give me the contact number or mail id of someone higher up. She snapped back saying that I will get the same response. In frustration, I spent one hour on the net trying to find out if there is some address on which I could voice my protest. I could find none.

What is horrifying is that a company like NOKIA, supposedly the world's largest, has no customer care number nor an email id where one can protest. Truly a company that will not survive long, if this is the way they are going to treat customers. In our family, we have four NOKIA handsets. The next one we buy will be anything but NOKIA.

1. I purchased a mobile of nokia company model no-N70-1 Music Black, IMEI no-[protected] on19/02/07 for Rs. 15400.00 from cellpoint, shop no-D/24, Madhusudan market, station road, Rourkela-769001 as per cash memo no 6127.

2. The said mobile accessory Nokia 1GB reduced size multimedia card MU-13 started giving trouble after the purchase i.e. no memory card inserted etc.

3. I informed you about this problem over telephone & visited nearest Nokia Care (PAYOJA SERVICES). Lastly I deposited rejected MMC Memory card for replacement by new one dated on 10/04/2007 & Job sheet no:-[protected]/070410/3

4. It is obvious that the MMC Memory card delivery as your head office has taken so long time and I was subjected to harassment & negative replies from you as and an inquiry was made.

5. My investment has gone waste & besides this you have also subjected me to mental agony & harassment .

After using Nokia handsets for the last 14 years I recently upgraded my 6310 to the new N70 after an unfortunate incident with my old handset and the washing machine. I purchased the new handset under a 2 year plan and I am currently paying off 2 handsets.

4-5 Months into the new contract my N70 stops charging. I decide that there must be a problem with the charger and purchase a new one. Luckily before leaving the shop, I ask the attendant to check to see if it works on the phone. It didn’t work and the attendant proceeds to try numerous charges, none that work.

I rang the shop where I purchased the handset, and they advise me the phone is under warranty. They advise to either return to them or direct to Nokia. I made the journey to the Melbourne central business district filled in the forms, and the phone was returned for repair to Nokia.

2 weeks later I receive a call from the phone shop, saying my phone has been returned from repair. I take more time off work to gratefully receive my phone. When I present the docket, guy comes back and advised me that due to water ingress Nokia refuse to repair the handset. Not satisfied, as after the last phone I have been careful not to get the unit wet.

I discuss the situation with the shop attendant. I am thinking that there has been a miscommunication somewhere as the phone is working fine, just not charging. He tries a couple of charger units and then I notice he uses the same handset. I have 2 flat batteries, he kindly tries his own battery in the phone and no problem phone works. To keep me on line he lets me keep his battery, and gives me the number of the Nokia care centre. (2 days wok lost to date)

I ring the care centre, they assure me that a technician has looked at the unit, and in fact it has been damaged by water and the phone will not be repaired. If I like to return to the care centre they will open the phone in front of me to show me the water damage. (This of course would be 3 days lost) I argue that if the phone had been affected by water surely that the whole unit would not work, not just the charge.

Well trained the operator assures me that not only had the phone been damaged by water, but it was only a matter of time that the rest of the wiring will decline and they will not even repair the unit even if I pay for the repair.

Still not happy they supply me with another number of complaints, unfortunately sir you are a good customer but Nokia policy Blah Blah blah. At this stage I start using my wife’s Samsung phone. Difficult as I am used to the Nokia software but I get used too it.

Couple months latter I have some time off. A friend comes round and I notice he has the same handset. ‘No complaints’ I ask to try his battery, and my phone springs to life, no problem. Still not happy with my previous attempts and with some time on my hands, I search a couple of forum problems to see if anyone else is having similar problems. OHHH look, numerous people around the world are having problems with both the chargers and the handsets. Many unhappy Nokia customers. So I call the care centre. Discuss the problem. No we are unaware of any inherent problems with the handset. So I ask to make an appointment to come to the city so they can open the phone and show me the water damage.

Yes sir. First you have to come to the city with the handset and make an appointment. (Now this is a 2 hour journey both ways) then you can return a week later and we will open the handset and show you the problem. After much discussion with the operator on my value as a customer, the waste of time and money making the 2 trips, offer to pay for the repair, sorry we will not attempt to repair even at your cost. Finally an option. Post the handset to us and then in 5 weeks return to the city and view the water damage. All not acceptable.

I offer to take it to another repairer and if he finds no water damage they could then cover the cost of the repair. No an unauthorized dealer will void any warranty/ responsibility if he opens the phone.

So still not happy I make a complaint to the Nokia website. I attach over 10 complaints from web forums with people experiencing similar problems with the same hand sets. After all it tells me they care about their customers; let us know your problems.

A few days later I received a reply from Nokia, see attachedDear Mr. Barrett,

‘No inherent problems’ Still not happy I have filled in there customer Survey and asked them if they have assured the other 15 people of which I attached complaints that they also are imagining the problems with their handset’s.

Anyway keep it up, I certainly intend to. Nokia have got away for too long relying on peoples dependence on keeping the same brand phone, as they are used to its operation. Well I assure you after switching to my wife’s Samsung phone there are much better products on the market. Ditch your Nokia and buy a phone from a reputable company that knows how to keep a loyal customer happy, water ingress or not. It is not worth the stress dealing with a company with so little regard for its loyal customers.

I am currently collating similar complaints that I am finding online and sending them to Nokia, please post your comments and complaints. It is a great way to let these companies know that we are not alone, not without a choice, and not a pre written standard response, but in fact are customers
