NJ Transit bus 73 newark penn station

The 73 line has limited pick up service on the line, however they do pick up at the Main St./Prospect stop in East Orange, heading towards Newark. As the bus approached I stuck out my arm and waived to signal I wanted that bus. There were no other buses at that stop at the time. The African American female driver literally passed me with no regard. I then yelled Hey running behind the bus Hopi g she would stop but to no avail she kept going and stopped to let someone off at the next stop. This is a repeat offense as I have been passed before. While waiting for the 73 I allowed two 21's to pass with the intention on getting the 73, but now I had to wait for another 21 and the line is way more crowded and takes longer to reach Newark Penn Station which results in me being late. In east orange and Newark most of the stops are discharge only therefore drivers should be alert and paying attention to passengers at the few bus stops they do pick up at. As I stated this is not the first offense and something needs to be done asap!

NJ Transit bus #6384

Today at April 28th 2018 at approximately 12:03pm NJ Transit Bus #6384 heading towards Newark Penn Station direction did not stop at its designated stop at Springfield Avenue & Prince Street. Instead it speed up and stop over Prince Street instead of before Prince street. Three of the four persons waiting ran towards the bus and was almost over Prince street when we saw the bus driver closing its door. It appears that the driver let a passenger out. The bus driver speed off. We were approx 5 seconds from its door.

NJ Transit rude bus driver on the b166

April 27th Friday while boarding on the B166 on Marginal Road with my child in West New York, NJ, the woman Bus driver snatched the ticket from me and said hurry up. It is absolutely absurd to receive such bad service from a bus driver. The bus # was 7702 and it arrived around 4:05 pm. This seems to be an issue from what I heard from other passengers on the bus. The bus driver was a short lady (brunette) who appeared to be very upset for some reason. As a Mother here in West New York I have always avoided taking the vans because of poor service and unsafe drivers. I sure hope someone can review my complaint and address it.

NJ Transit inhumane belligerent ignorant bus driver - nj transit (special needs person)

My 18 Year old daughter was on her way from school when she was boarding the bus. The bus driver was yelling at another rider that was in the back of the bus. In front of her was a special needs young person. He asked the bus driver a question and the bus driver said hold on I am not talking to you then told him to be quiet and wait his turn and was being rude asking him why he even bothered going to school. So my daughter said don't talk to him like that clearly he is not able to defend himself. The bus driver started yelling at my daughter telling her to mind her own business and then told her to get off his bus. She said you don't have the right to do that and he said call the police if you want, I don't care. In turn, my daughter was kicked off the bus for trying to protect a special needs young person. She was very upset and took pictures of the driver, the bus and the licence plate. This is unacceptable! April 19th around 4pmish. license 0XZ8972 bus 028 5665

NJ Transit bus service

On April 20th - I take the #83 at 5:25 from hackensack bus terminal. I get off at Christie street in ridgefield park and the driver knows this since I take this bus everday. He missed my stop and was rude to me when I bought this to his attention asking that he "stop here". My name is troy baker and it's been a long while since I've had to lodge a formal complaint. Fix this band fix his attitude. And if he feels the job is too much retirement is an option. You are in the customer service business and rudeness is unacceptable and I will not tolerate this. Once again fix this. I'm sure I am not the only person to complain about this driver.

NJ Transit ny transit train 4203

I am a resident of 1801 Egg Harbor Rd. Lindenwold NJ. Across from my residence there is a train track that is operated by NJ Transit trains. Every week day there is a train that stops in front of my residence and sits there with the engine running at a disturbing noise level. The train stays in front of my residence for at least 20 to 30 minutes. On Wednesday April 18, 2018, train engine number 4203 was the train causing a noise disturbance. I do not deserve to be harassed by these acts committed by NJ Transit. I will continue to video and document these incidents and file a complaint.

NJ Transit return bus service-six flags great adventure

My family and I went to Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday, April 14th. We were told the LAST bus out of Six Flags would be 7:30pm, so to be sure we didn't miss the bus we left the park about 6:50pm and reached the bus line at approx. 7pm. A bus picked up the people in the Newark line, and some from the New York Port Authority line shortly after (around 7:15pm or so) because the line was extremely long (about 150 or more) so obviously everyone could not fit on that bus. We were told another bus would be coming soon. We noticed a line of NJ Transit Buses idling and not taking any passengers as we stood in line. When we asked the NJ Transit lady why they were just sitting there and not taking passengers she ignored us. About 30 minutes later, we asked what was going on. She said "I'm going to get the bus now". After waiting in line for at LEAST an hour, a bus finally came a couple of minutes AFTER 8pm! So not only were my 2 small kids and myself and husband waiting for AN HOUR so were over 100 other people! The unorganization was unimaginable! THERE WERE BUSES THERE AND THEY JUST SAT THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR WHILE WE ALL STOOD OUTSIDE FREEZING (TEMPS SUDDENLY DROPPED FROM 7PM TO 8 PM TO 45 DEGREES WITH HIGH WINDS!) I know weather is not the fault of NJ Transit but THE DISORGANIZATION IS! Buses WERE SITTING THERE WITH DRIVERS WHEN THERE ENOUGH PEOPLE ALONE IN THE NEW YORK PORT AUTHORITY LINE TO FILL 2 BUSES! What is the reasoning we asked the NJ Transit lady that was organizing buses. Again, got nothing but a rude look and a backhanded comment. It's ridiculous! Either we should get a refund for this horrible and rude service OR be credited a future round trip for 2 kids and 2 adults to Six Flags Great Adventure so NJ Transit can redeem their despicable service. One more thing. I would like to add an update. Unfortunately I was so angry at what happened that I took my anger out on my kids. Unfortunately I hit one of them hard enough to give them a black eye. I told him to say that he was playing soccer and the ball hit him in the face. His teacher asked him how he got the black eye and instead of telling him what told him to say he told her that I punched him. He first said that he got hit by a soccer ball but the teacher did not believe him. His teacher reported me to CPS and both my children were questioned. My daughter confirmed that when I was angry at the bus company that I hit my kids because they were making noise. Now I am told that if i do not take anger management classes I may lose my kids. I want them to pay for the mental agnish that they made me go through. They made me so angry that I hurt my kids. I did not mean to. I was just angry and my kids made me even more angry.

NJ Transit bus driver 552 from atlantic city departure at 12.25 on 4/17/18

I take 552 from Cape May County to Atlantic City many times a week. most of the time I say that the bus is late till 30minutes sometimes. but today was the worst experience I had because I didn't catch the bus on time despite I rushed, but I saw the bus just getting off the terminal. I stopped the bus by the front side on the sidewalk, then one of the passenger gave sign to the driver. he just ignored me by purpose. where is the humanity consideration? as a customer we should be patient when we wait for a while but there is no chance when we miss the bus station on time and the next one will be 40minutes later.

NJ Transit bus

Route 177. Bus 7847. It's Friday, April 13, 4:30 pm. The first hot day of the season and the bus has no AC. Do you not check the bus before it leaves the garage? And the bus driver just shrugs his shoulders. And this is after waiting 1/2 hour for a bus to even come in. The 166 doesn't seem to have a lack of buses. Plus every Friday the 167/177 line is waiting for buses. Can none be brought in ahead of schedule in the event of traffic? I don't know who is running this company, but they surely are doing a bad job. I only hope you experience the same.

NJ Transit 113s

NJ Transit bus #113S is ALWAYS LATE Totally unexceptable why does route 113x gets 2 buses before the 113S shows up! I will star a petition with signature of all the passengers who normally take this bus ASAP. Also I will include all passengers that are waiting for a late NJ bus 113 S. Prices Are high enough and people and NEwYORKS are irritable folks as it is you need to ensure your drivers make it in to the stop at schedule time. If not let the other early buss 113x take folks from 113s... it's that simple people!

NJ Transit bus driver

Currently on March 8 18th 2018 I am on the 319 bus to New York from Atlantic City I was on 319 from toms River at 9:20 and I got on the wrong bus instead of going to New York I went to Atlantic City I explained to the driver my situation as soon as I realized I was going south and not north. when I was getting off the bus I went to ask the driver of the bus I was on at the time where do I buy a bus ticket before I could even ask a different driver jumped down my throat telling me that he dealt with enough [censor] today That he wasn't dealing with any more [censor] He already had the cops at his bus earlier Which had absolutely nothing to do with me so there was no reason for him to be extremely nasty to me and rude Before I was even allowed to get my question out before he verbally attacked me and continued to tell me that I needed a ticket to ride on his bus all I wanted to know is where I get a bus ticket from I wasn't asking for a refund or a new bus ticket and it wasn't even his bus that I was on at that moment I was getting off the bus that I accidentally took to Atlantic City. So my question wouldn't of been directed towards him it would've been directed towards the current driver then when I go to the bus to pay I tryed to give him a $50 bill he tells me he can't take it which is fine but then he made a comment about why am I walking so slow to go get a ticket. I just had a C-section about a month ago and I think I was moving pretty quick which I shouldn't of been almost running to make sure he didn't leave me purposely. I know he may of had a bad day but I had a bad day too and I got on the wrong bus and I just had to pay $80 for two tickets from Atlantic City to New York after I paid from Toms River to ac because of the day I had I didn't have a good day either and that's why I ended up on the wrong bus because I was so aggravated I was only paying attention to the bus number because the bus schedule told me that the 319 at 920 from toms River went to New York Never thought to think there was another bus going to Atlantic City at the same time I had an extremely bad day I had a death in the family and then I get on the wrong bus because of what I have going on and the driver was extremely nasty to me before I even got on his bus I don't care what kind of day he had it was very professional and he was extremely rude and extremely nasty I have never had such a bad encounter with the New Jersey transit bus rider and I take the bus all the time and it honestly makes me want to never take New Jersey transit bus again he doesn't know the kind of day that I had the other bus driver was extremely nice I know I cannot get onto a bus without a bus ticket I didn't need him to tell me that before I could even ask where do I buy a ticket I don't know what [censor] he dealt with today that he said he didn't want to deal with no more [censor] today but It had nothing to do with me I didn't ask for my ticket back I wasn't trying to get a free ride but I didn't need him accusing me of trying to do some [censor] before I could even ask where to buy a ticket I'm not familiar with Atlantic City. Call he was acting like I purposely got on the wrong bus why would I purposely get on the wrong bus he acted like I was some bum on the street trying to get a free ride which you were on the bus I was getting off of the driver told you that I accidentally got on the wrong bus but he didn't care he had no type of consideration no god for bed I didn't have $80 to buy two more tickets to get home I just would've been stuck people make mistakes and I don't think I should've been treated like that and spoke to the way he spoke to me being as though I'm a female even if I have been a man he still shouldn't of spoke to anybody the way he spoke to me I am not his child I am a grown woman with children of my own. I would think that a New Jersey transit driver would've had a little bit more consideration considering he knew I got on the wrong bus on accident because personally if I had seen somebody do it and I knew they got on the wrong bus and they were going from one bus to the next to get on the right bus and the driver explained it to them I wouldn't of made them pay for another ticket. The driver should've had a little bit more consideration I had a day from hell I didn't want to get home at one 2 o'clock in the morning I thought I would be home at 11:30 why would I purposely do that and purposely spend an extra $80 for me and my spouse to get home. He had no consideration for the day that I had all he was worried about was the day that he had when you deal with people all day you're supposed to deal with people a certain type of way he has absolutely no people skills when I got on the bus finally after buying the bus ticket that I moved a little bit too slow for him to get but I just had a C-section about Four weeks ago I damn near ran which wasn't good enough for him. My incision could've ripped open I could fell anything could've happened Because I had a rush because he made it very clear he was going to leave me. I literally had about two minutes to get my ticket and get back to the bus and then when I got on the bus he made a comment again about it's about time we can go as if I was holding the bus up. I asked him for his name and he refused to give it to me. Inside the bus terminal my spouse explained to a New Jersey transit cop what just happened and he gave him a customer comment form. I would like for somebody to call me Because I would like to know what is going to be done about How the driver treated me. I have never had a bad experience with the New Jersey transit driver until 10 every driver I have ever came in contact with has always been extremely nice and friendly I've never met a driver that was so rude And nasty it blew me away honestly. My name is Rachael Lovely my phone number is [protected]. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience.

I purchased a disabled rate ticket and he was too dumb to understand my state i.d. card which documents the the disability. He spoke broken english. He drove at excessive speed the whole trip.

NJ Transit lateness/out of order ticket machine

On Monday March 5th, I decided to take the train to work for maybe the 300th time since working in Madison. Taking the train is okay most of the time but I can not sit around and wait for something to change if I don't speak up now. The tardiness with NJ Transit is intolerable. I walked to the train station which took me about 15 minutes so that I could catch the 9:36am West bound train to Dover. Upon arriving I had to walk up the stairs to the island platform to purchase my ticket. It would be easy to say that the ticket machines were flawless and worked to it's standards but sadly I can not. One of the taller ticket machines have not been able to properly work in a little over a month which is ridiculous. It does not take cash and every time someone makes a complaint about these machines that are located in East Orange, no one comes to fix them and God forbid you are running a tad bit late and have to run to the center platform because there isn't a machine on the track three side of the platform you then miss your train. When in Madison, buying a ticket is easy and there are never any issues with the machines at all. Furthermore, after buying my ticket I waited for the train which should have arrived in about 5 minutes because I'd just heard the town hall bell ring and that signified that it was 9:31. I waited and waited and sooner or later more customers started to leave the track to find other means to get to their destination. I then gathered the courage to ask what time it was from another soon to be passenger and he told me 9:49 and at that moment the train arrived. I know thirteen minutes doesn't seem too long but when you have to go to work it seems like eternity. If you hired someone to do a job and they arrived 30 minutes late wouldn't you be just a tad bit upset? New Jersey Transit needs to do better because millions of people are depending on them. Upon boarding the train, not one train conductor apologized for the tardiness and proceeded to take my ticket which I indeed owed them but not after making tons of people late to work including me. I depend on the train to take me to work and many times it has failed. I should take responsibility for my own tardiness and find another way to get to my destination but when I already spent money for a ticket then this becomes a problem.

My name is Jalea Gardner and anyone can reach me by my email :[protected]@yahoo.com

NJ Transit bus schedule

I am an everyday public transportation bus rider. I take the 406 bus everyday morning and night to get back and forth to work. Now the reason of my complaint is: the 406 bus (Philadelphia via Lincoln Dr.) Is scheduled monday through friday and has a scheduled bus stop pick up time of 6:22pm. At Covered Bridge Road in Cherry Hill. The bus stop number on the sign is 15535. My issue is... Not one day mon thru friday does this bus ever pick me up at the bus scheduled time. Its always 30 min. Later. Today 2-28-18 i was not picked up until 6:52. So this is a huge issue. Not only is it an inconvenience for me but for my family as well. I am also traveling from that bus stop to the walter rand transportation center to catch the second bus i need to catch so i can go home. And thats another 30 min to 45 min waiting time due to the 406 always being late. This is a huge inconvenience. As an everyday bus rider to and from work i would love to have something done about this since i spend alot of money each day on a bus that is not reliable. And im pretty sure im not the only rider that has complained about this. I hope you can help solve my issue. You can contact me by email at [protected]@gmail.com Thank you.

NJ Transit #815 bus (get here on time, fix your my bus app)

On Friday, February 23, 2018, the 10:55am NJT #815 bus is supposed to arrive here in South Amboy on time.

Guess what, it did not. The #815 bus goes to Woodbridge Center Mall. Plenty of commuters here in South Amboy had to wait 20 minutes until the #817 bus came. I commute to Perth Amboy, the next suburban city in suburban Middlesex here.

Get your act together! Also, update your My Bus Now app!

NJ Transit bus route# 128 from manhattan (port authority) to north bergen

I got on the bus route#128 at Port Authority Bus Terminal Gate# 325 on 3rd fl heading to 67th St, Blouvard East in West New York at around 10:14 PM on Fri, Feb 16th 2018. My stop is at 67th St. And right after the bus stopped at 66th St. bus stop I pressed the bell in order to get off at 67th St bus stop and the 'stop requested'sign was on. But the male driver did not stop and just passed by. So I told him to stop and he did stop between 66th and 67th St stop. If I did not tell him to stop, he would go straight to the next stop which is 69th St, which is two blocks away.
So as I was getting off I asked the driver why he did not stop at 67th St. stop. And do you know what his response was? He yelled at me, "Jesus! Can you wa-i-te to the next stop? JESUS!".
Excuse me, why do I have to wait to the next stop while you are missing the bell and passing by my stop and not stopping at my stop? So I told him, "Next stop is 69th st., which is two blocks away. You were supposed to stop at the right bus stop but you did not and just missed my stop." And this guy goes like, "Jesus, I sopped before!" he yelled at me again.
Excuse me, he stopped before? Of course he did because that was another bus stop.
So I told him, "The one that you stopped was 66th St. stop and there is another bus stop after that at 67th St. stop, which was mine that you missed."
And then he was like, "What's wrong with you? There is another stop after that!"
Excuse me, what was wrong with me? Really?
Can someone please tell me what was wrong withe me? I just wanted to stop at my stop and didn't want the driver miss and pass by my stop! That's what I've been paying for, for the monthly pass for 11 years!
Any excuse?

NJ Transit unnecessarily touching

Friday February 16th, I took the 11:32am train from South Amboy, NJ to NY Penn station. A few stops before the train entered the tunnel to our final destination; a NJT Employee made it a point to stop what I was listening to on my headphones, grab my attention by waiving his hands slightly above my face and then said to me "you have beautiful eyes ". Immediately after he patted and grabbed my forearm at least 3x; to which I replied "do not [censor] touch me". This employee passed me at least 2 times before the train reached its final destination in New York City.
