I will not be buying any of your products for my family until Colin Kaepernick is removed from your advertising. Im making my stand. I really like Nike products. I have friends who work at Nike and i went to school with Phil's son Matt. Many Americans have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Im not saying you cant protest but good grief the Flag and anthem should bring us together not tear us apart.

I am utterly disgusted and offended that Nike would use such a dishonorable character, as Colin Kaepernick, to be any type of a reputable or inspirational figure in any shape, way or form. Thank God we do live in a country that allows freedom and free choice to all of our inhabitants. To blatantly advertise this man as some sort of hero whose overcome such hardships to get where he is today is a total joke and a slap in the face to every member of our Armed Services. THEY are the true heroes, and a source of pride and inspiration to our country, and who should be honored for their sacrifices and duty. What sacrifice has he made?! He's an over-privileged, over-indulged millionaire! There's no sacrifice or honor in that! Myself and my family will be boycotting your company and products. I will no longer support such a selfish and misguided company.

Of course, since you are in sports, you understand Kaepanick has limited football skills, have you watched his footwork? STAY OUT OF POLITICS! What hypocrites. You pay little girls almost nothing--what does that say about your social justice. You are a disgusting company in so many ways. Me and my family (and we are quite large) will NOT purchase any of your merchandise. Again, STAY OUR OF POLITICS. I have more to say, but I will not, I will remain civil. If only Nike was. The Category selection is absolutely innate.

My two brothers and our children have bought Nike products for years, however because of your support on Colin Kaepernick, we will no longer be purchasing Nike products. Your support of someone who does not stand for the National Anthem is UNAMERICAN. Some of my family fought and died for this country. They fought for and died this countries freedoms of which Colin is abusing this privilege and showing disrespect for this country. How can a company like Nike support someone who disrespects his own country.

Dear Mr. Mark Parker,

I realize that you have given much thought to your new campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick as your new poster child, a person who disrespects the American Flag, refuses to honor the Star Spangled Banner by not standing when it is played, and mockingly wearing socks depicting Law Enforcement Officers as pigs. Because of your decision to support him, I will stop buying Nike products. I have bought your products for years, but I know that you knew there would be customers like me that would stop buying your product because of your stance, and yet, you chose to willingly write us all off. If you choose to reverse your decision, I will gladly jump back onboard because we all make mistakes. But if not, I'm sure that the other shoe companies will appreciate my business.

The use of Colin Kaepernik in Nike's adds is insulting to servicemen who have served, been injured and died serving their country and proudly upholding our flag. My two brothers and myself all served in the Vietnam War and my father was a WW2 hero defending our flag. I will never buy another pair of nike's shoes or sports attire. My family and relatives will not as well as friends I have talked with. Addidas will be my next option and many others I have talked to as well. There are many ways to protest and have one's voice heard but disrespecting our flag is not one. Shame on Nike.

Everyone has a right to protest but I find it dishonorable to do so during our national anthem. The flag has no agenda and does not side one way or the other in politics. It simply represents our country and those who have fallen to protect us and our rights. I believe Mr. Karpenick disrespects our country by kneeling and I am ashamed to have ever owned a Nike product.

I am totally disgusted that you would use that entitled individual to represent your product. He has not overcome ANYTHING! He started kneeling because he was on the verge of getting cut from the team! He only was seeking media attention and you have played right into his hands. I will NEVER buy another Nike product for myself or my family if this is the type of person you want to represent you!

I am a US Navy veteran and stand proudly for the anthem. You have the right to do whatever you want, to elevate someone who never served on minute in my shoes (and the are not Nike), as you live in the greatest country on earth that have been blessed by the blood of my brothers and sisters in arms. Nike, I have always used your products in the past but no more! I will burn everything and never again chose to purchase a Nike product, due to your company using Kaepernick as the "Face of Your Product." Of all the heroic/great people in the world that could have represented Nike, you have chosen someone who disrespects our anthem. You show disrespect for the courageous men and women of our country, who have sacrificed and defended this man's right, to show such disrespect! I am appalled, as a mother of two son's in the Army, who have sacrificed not only their time away from their families but also their physical health. Shame on you Nike! I will be shouting loud and long discouraging others to also boycott your products!

I have owned several pair of your shoes over the years, and currently have 4 pair in my closet. Two pair of these shoes are the best shoes I have ever worn. However, because you have chosen to elevate someone like Colin Kaepernick to be the face of your product, I am forced to do away with those shoes and buy some other kind. I would normally give my old shoes to charity, so someone who has none would get use from them, however I will destroy these, because I refuse to advertise for you. I understand that it is your business and you can run it in what ever manner you would like, and that is true. It is also my money that I spend to buy your shoes and I can spend however I choose, and I choose not to give it to you. I will also encourage like minded folks to do the same.

If I was Bill Bowerman or Phil Knight, I would be firing the marketing people who decided it was in Nike's best interest to nominate this self-absorbed, entitled brat as the face of Nike for your 30th campaign. Time to suck it up and admit you made a HUGE mistake . . . you personally owe this woman an apology as well as the rest of the people who have supported since your early beginnings by buying your product. If not, your "do it" is going to be a "don't do it" for a long, long time.

I was very disturbed when I saw your ad supporting Colin Kaepernick's refusal to stand for the National Anthem. If Colin is not proud of our flag, he ought to move to another country. I've been a loyal customer for 30+ years buying several pairs of shoes every year. I will not buy another product with your logo on it since you've decided to go forward with the Kaepernick ad. It's disgusting and the worst part is when these athletes are asked what all this means...nobody can give an answer. What's the point?

My husband and I have purchased Nikes since the late 70's. We bought our children Nike merchandise during their childhoods. Now our little grandsons have been the recipients of your product, but no longer. Your company is promoting divisiveness and hatred which we can't support. This ad campaign shows a decided lack of character. It is up to the family, not a sports apparel company, to shape the patriotic character of future generations. Your decision severs our business relationship. "Just do it" now means refuse to buy Nike.

My wife and I have been Nike consumers for many years and used all types of your products with little complaint as to quality and comfort.

I am a Vietnam veteran and a retired police captain with 30 years of service. I know what sacrifice means.

The face of Nike is a spoiled brat who wore socks in his uniform depicting police offices as pigs and wore a Castro t-shirt!

I teach classes, (about 35 different persons a month) to men and women from all different walks of life. I promise you I will spend the rest of my time impressing upon all of them and anyone else who will listen to avoid the company that hates America and all the people that have sacrificed, fought and many died defending it's honor.

I hope you inform all of your retailers that the next time they have a problem in one of their stores, don't call those "pigs", call Colin.

One commentator was a little closer to the truth suggesting that Kaepernick should only be advertising knee pads.

It is sad that corporate America has lost site of what hard-working decent people have given so the corporate owners can simply spit in their face.

I am severely disappointed at your poor judgment is using colin Kaepernick for you campaign. It please me to see your stock drop significantly, and I will NOT support nike from this point forward, mark parker is a sick, and your company fails to exhibit any moral fiber, and I will NEVER even consider spending one cent on anything even affiliated with your brand, that is unless you shift gears and reevaluate what your values are. Co, does not know sacrifices in the way true Patriots do, and you inability to exercise any fair judgement or ethics in the way you do business. Sucks for you. There are plenty of other companies that produce quality apparel that don't support individuals who have truly made sacrifices for this country. Your campaign is bad, and I'm not buying it. Literally.
