Nigel Richmond & Courtney Richmond.
Previously trading as: 'Interiors by Richmond' at
1. 53 Church St, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 1QY
2. Unit 1, Tannery Business Park, Bradford Road, Halifax, HX3 7HR

I represent a manufacturer that supplied the above. The goods were delivered and cheques were collected on delivery. The cheques bounced after several weeks and despite promises from Nigel Richmond payment was never fulfilled.

BEWARE - This man has conned manufacturers and the general public out of tens, possibly even hundreds of thousands of pounds. Do not have any dealings with any of these people.

Just to mention a few, I am aware of customers who have paid in full for goods which were never delivered. Manufacturers apart from ourselves who have delivered goods to Nigel & Courtney Richmond and never received payment. Landlords who are owed money, and countless other individuals who have done work for these people and never been paid.
If you have had dealings with Nigel Richmond and are owed money please comment on this forum so we can make other people aware of the risks. Addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, places of work etc all welcome.

Courtney was a personal trainer and he defrauded me out of £700 in total. I never got any of it back and part of it was for an apparent Adidas gift card that i now know to be nonsense. After countless emails phone calls and texts I eventually messaged his mother on Facebook and he then contacted me telling me not to. I told him the reason I did was because she brought him up. I reported it to citizens advice bureau and reported him for not paying me back he now has a county court judgement. But that’s clearly made no difference. I’m so sorry you’re all going through this. I thought he would have learnt his lesson. His father was banned from setting up business and looks like he literally does not care. I think this needs something bigger to really make it stop and involve police. I hope you all got your money back somehow.

looks like the vinyl wrap company has now closed after taking my deposit and 5 months of hell trying to get it back.
Mathew farrel, Sean farrel(which is the name he goes by at the moment) has now disconnected his phone.

Lets see what the name of the new scamming company will be.

@vinylwrapcompany.

Courtney Richmond and Nigel Richmond are total con men who have stolen hundreds of thousands from the general public, their friends and their families to fund their gambling addictions. Courtney was only last year found guilty of defrauding his own friend and stealing in excess of £20, 000 from him and was given a suspended sentence and community service. How these people have been able to set up another company to scam people with is beyond me. There is very little point in requesting refunds from these [censor] as I can guarantee you will not receive it - they have probably already lost it gambling. Your best bet is to contact your bank / credit card provider and use their charge back service and report the company to action fraud.

Did any of you get a full refund? I am currently dealing with them, we paid our deposit and have been waiting for a sample for over 2 weeks, when we requested a refund, as it clearly wasn't coming, they advised they couldn't issue one until we confirmed the sample was wrong..

I have had Wrap it right to our property to update our kitchen. These people are by far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Took major effort to get them onsite. Very poor workmanship, ruined our kitchen. Nailed panel onto our doors and left it popping through the vinyl. Gave me loads of excuses about bad staff etc..
They are well setup to avoid contact with the customer and any complaints, they have mail and call forwarding services, always call on withheld numbers and try not to give their full names.
I have spoken to Nigel Richmond, Courtney Richmond, Paul all claim to be the business owner/ director. They are non-limited company, operating out of Halifax although they try to tell you it’s Manchester.
They will not answer my calls or respond to my emails. ALL VERY SECRETIVE. Its been going on for 3 months.
I would appreciate any details numbers and or feedback on Wrap it right. Nigel Richmond, Courtney Richmond and the rest of them.

AVOID this company at all costs.

We have also been scammed by this company. I left a negative review on their Instagram and they called and threatened me. They are completely fraudulent. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. Make a complaint to Citizens Advice and they will hopefully be shut down.

Can confirm that wrap it right are scamming people left right and centre. We paid them a £200 deposit to wrap our kitchen. The morning they should have arrived beteen 8-9am they turned up at 10.20am, then they informed us the living room should have been cleared out to do the job and so therefor where not prepapred to do the job that day. They said they would come back on the sunday 2 days later and we said ok we would have the living room cleared out, we did this and sat and waiting 10.00 - 10.30 they were due to arrrive and still nothing, I tried to ring the technician Matthew who just kept cutting me off the phone. After waiting nearly an hour I decided to check my emails and at 10.00am that morning they had emailed me to say they were not coming the technician had phoned in sick. They told me they would initiate a refund with paypal I left it 3 days and contacted paypal direct they had done no such thing so paypal got involved and after 10 days we finially got our money back. We posted on facebook pages warning others of their scam and the owner of the company rang me up saying if I did not remove my comments he would stop my refund with paypal, I did not need to remove my comments as the owner of the original post had removed hers as they had theatened her with the same tactic. SO BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHAT SO EVER!

Courtney Richmond is at it again. He has set up a website called wrapitright.co.uk offering to vinyl wrap kitchens, bathrooms etc. Acting as a sole trader, he registered the domain in March of this year. He took money from me 2 weeks ago, failed to turn up and no refund has been made. Despite numerous emails, all he will say is that a refund has been processed. He has also taken down the wrapitrightuk facebook page, so I am sure that I am not the only one he has scammed. Contacting trading standards.

I was also a victim of the the Richmonds, losing over £1400 for goods supplied but not paid for
Beware!
If anyone hears anything about them please post it on here so that they can be stopped,
Their target market was old people and so far it looks as though they have taken deposits for over £30, 000 and never delivered but the list is still growing

Agreed. Both Courtney and Nigel Richmond are con men and scammers. They have operated under 4 different trading names in only a few years including comfy living interiors, interiors by Richmond, double AA furnishing (HX) ltd and now irb HX ltd. each time the companies are establish, debts mount up and then they wind the company up and open under a new trading name leaving the debts in the previous companies name unpaid.

In addition to this Courtney and Nigel have tricked and scammed money out of members of the public not in relation to their furniture operations. These activities include taking loans out from 'loan skarks' in other people's names, scamming their own friends by saying that they are going to invest money on there behalf, taking money for goods which dont exist and begging and blackmailing people into lending them money, which unsurprisingly has never been returned. The sums of money involved are not small. Courtney and Nigel have scammed (only what I am aware of) in excess of £100, 000 and this is without taking into account they money owed by their numerous failed business ventures.

They are crooks and I would advise everyone to refrain from having any dealings with these people, whether on a personal or business level.
