National Football League [NFL] nfl preseason game in winnipeg august 22, 2019

This was the most ridiculous, embarrassing game we have ever attended. My son is a retired professional athlete and we have been to major sports events all over the world & never experienced such a disappointing display. The lack of professionalism in refusing to play the first and second line starters due to a soft spot where the goal post was is such a cop out. Look at the field where the Oakland Raiders regularly play- it's the worst and they have the arrogance to refuse to play under these "terrible" conditions in Winnipeg!?! What a joke. No kickoff, an 80 yard field, it was a pathetic display. I believe the NFL and these teams decided to penalize the fans that spent a lot of money because the stadium didn't sell out. I bought 23 tickets for family, friends and clients. Such a disgusting game to watch, I was livid. There was nothing special about this sports event, if you can call it that, it was the worst and I want my money back. So disrespectful to the fans that wanted to experience a once in a lifetime experience, I feel bad for them. I know the difference and that's what makes me so angry about last night's game. Brutal. National Football League [NFL] game in winnipeg

This was the most disappointing NFL game I have ever been involved in. Between of taking time off work and paying out at least $1000.00 for drive from Calgary plus food, hotel and alcohol in Winnipeg. There couldn't have been a worse outcome. There was months notice on the NFL coming to Canada and they still couldn't get anything right. No pregame celebrations was the least of the concerns. If I was asked to do a job and failed I'd be fired. The game going to an 80 yard field because the NFL and Winnipeg couldn't get it right is inexcusable. We (the fans) expect at least a field for the players to play on. I'm so embarrassed to be a Canadian right now. To have these players and the NFL come to Canada and get a child's field to play on is shameful. All this money paid by the fans for travel, hotels and revenues brought to the city of Winnipeg is a farce. I wish I never believed it could be done right. Cause I would've never made this trip to a subpar "NFL" game. They could have fixed the turf before The even days in advance. To leave it until game time is a embarrassment to the NFL and Canada. Worse NFL experience ever...

Ashamed Canadian,

Roger Power

National Football League [NFL] nfl sunday ticket

I rent in a multi-dwelling unit (Condos with an HOA). I am not allowed to have satellite here, nor do they have the facilities installed to do so. Yet direct tv does not offer me the NFL Sunday ticket streaming service, which is made available to people in situations similar than mine (those who live in "multi-dwelling units" as stated on their website). I just moved out of NJ, and now I cannot watch my favorite team, the jets? Really? I'd pay like 350 bucks to get Sunday ticket. I'd install direct tv if I could, it's just not an option... how is this OK? The team I've watched for all years of my life and they decide my specific building is not offered the streaming service?

National Football League [NFL] the saints / rams officiating

Looks like the referees team won. Also looks like referees need to have their eyes examined before the game. They could have caused themselves harm in New Orleans not making calls like they didn't. Maybe the NFL shouldn't have sent refs fro Sothern California to officiate this game. It sure looks like their team won. They robbed the Saints and The Who Dat Nation. I don't know anyone that has confidence in the NFL officials now. But it sure looks like there team won. How crooked can the get?

The non-call in the Saints-Rams NFL championship game was the absolute worst non call in the history of the NFL! The Saints were robbed of a trip to the super bowl.  They are the true NFC champions but will not get to play the Patriots for the title. What a disgrace! It's absolutely stunning that such a blatant screw up happened in a major sporting event in the USA. Before the entire nation! This is bigger than just a sporting event gone awry. This is a betrayal of everything America supposedly stands for, i.e. work hard, dedicate yourself, sacrifice, persevere, and you will be rewarded for your efforts. These cheated athletes have worked most of their lives to reach the pinnacle of success only to have their ultimate reward ripped away by an official, someone with strong ties to LA. OMG! I'm a 62 year old fan of NFL football and have never seen anything like this before. And I started watching football at eight years of age. So what now? How about some justice? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I've become very concerned that there was a deliberate, behind the scenes effort by very powerful forces to push the Rams into the super bowl. Indifferent fans in LA, a very expensive stadium under construction, a huge TV market in LA...what a way to spur interest, to generate revenue, bolster TV ratings. How about conducting an investigation? Yes, change the rules, prevent something like this from happening again, but what about some justice for the Saints players, fans, the entire organization that put this great team together? My nine year old grandson is a diehard Saints fan, a football prodigy, who was blown away by the blatant missed call. He didn't understand how this could happen. I was at a loss to explain this to him. I'm personally so disgusted, blown away, that I may never watch another NFL game. The game has lost its integrity. The Rams are a great team but they are pseudo champions. I will not watch the super bowl. This incident should be thoroughly investigated. The official saw what happened. And didn't make the call. No one is that incompetent. It was intentional.

The blown pass interference call in the Saints/Rams game is the WORST mistake in the history of the NFL! The NFL - Roger Goodell needs to fix this and have this situation re-played, which evidently he can do. If this is not grounds to do that then nothing is! This robbed a team of the SUPER BOWL! How can you just say Oh sorry, we made a mistake? This is not an ordinary situation and you can't treat it like any other game! You could handle this with integrity and do the right thing, but I'm guessing you won't because it makes more money to have the Rams in the super bowl even though they should not be there. What a slap in the face to every Saints player, coach and fan! That team worked so hard to get where they were and you rob them of what they deserve with ONE ridiculous no-call that EVERYONE saw! This is gut-wrenching for them (and for us)! Your refs were pathetic, and THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! You have a Sunday coming up where you could have that last few minutes replayed, DO YOU HAVE ANY GUTS OR INTEGRITY AT ALL?

National Football League [NFL] referring calling the games for a certain team

Seriously considering boycotting the NFL, I really just want to watch a game that is called fairly for both teams playing their hearts out. It's so blatant I don't know why players are penalized but referees are not held accountable for their no calls or wrong calls. What's the purpose of the replay ? Seriously NFL it's a challenge enough to win a game but you have to play against the referees as well! It's absurd for the amount of money they make and the nfl as well.

National Football League [NFL] playoff game coverage by abc / espn

Watched the postgame speeches in the Colts locker room. Immediately after the last speaker finished, all of the players dropped to one knee without so much as a nod telling them what to do. They were going to say a prayer.

The NFL and its TV Network partners immediately switched to the broadcast team to get to a commercial.

What is wrong with showing players wanting to voluntarily say a prayer even just the start of the prayer?

The NFL and its TV Network partners spent all of last season focusing on the kneeling in protest movement. And, they lost millions of viewers because of it for various reasons.

I am not a religious zealot. But, was it so important to leave the locker room at that moment.

It's All About The $$$$$$$$$$$$

National Football League [NFL] the philadelphia eagles vs dallas cowboys on 12-9-18

The first play of the game was a fumble recovered by the Eagles. Instead the officials gave dallas the ball. Later in the game they called offensive pass interference on Dallas Goddard (Eagles) and negated a touchdown. The officials in this game were lousy but this 2 calls changed the outcome of the game. All of the officials in this game should be FIRED. It's obvious that they favored the cowboys and the nfl wants to help them but this is dishonest and now the Eagles are going to miss the playoffs because of bad officials. I knew football was fixed this just proves it. I will never watch another football game an hope more people follow this game was pathetic! P.S. Jason garret was shown shaking all the officials hands after the game Disgusting!

National Football League [NFL] not receiving item paid for

I ordered a gift card for my son in law for Christmas from N.F.L. Official Shop Website and was charged by credit card but never received it. I have called them 10 different times and have been told 10 different lies. I am so embarrassed because I have told my daughter and son-in-law all these delivery dates and I just know they think I am lying. There is no one to call or write to complain about this I have came to found out. Something after the fact told me to go to Google to see if there was someone to reach out to but what I found was all these complaints about fraud and folks experiencing the same with no where to turn. You know what makes me so angry is that the N.F.L. is aware that this site is up and involved in these activities using their name but there is nothing they can do about it. I don't know what to do. I have the most talented, loving, respectful, smart kind hearted son in law in life. He is the best dad to my grandsons and best husband to my daughter, I just want to shout it from the rooftops. And my Christmas gift to him is never arriving because people choose to work for a fake company and take others money with no regard. What am I going to do?

National Football League [NFL] stupid rules ruining the games

Congratulations nfl you finally got what you wanted... You finally took all the defense out of football! The stupid penalties the defenses get for what are actually clean tackles are absurd... Stop with the rule changes already... Football is a contact sport... If the primadona quarterbacks can't handle getting hit then they should find another job! You have already pissed off most of the fans by not dealing with the idiots who are kneeling... Do you really want to alienate the rest of them by taking half of the game away with the penalties for tackling, if we wanted to watch quarterbacks and wide receivers play catch untouched we would just watch the quarterback challenges! You and your idiotic rules are destroying the game. Whatever happened to real football, when it was actually fun to watch. Now it is just plain boring and the player stats are nothing more than an insult to the real players of yesterday... You know... The ones who actually earned them! If you need proof look at the rams - chiefs game... Those scores are completely ridiculous.. There is a reason why in 52 years it has never happened before... It's called defense!

National Football League [NFL] missing items, shipping problem.

I ordered several items last week after seeing a 20 % plus shipping sale on the NFLShop. So far I have only received one item I purchased and after I spoke with customer service I was told that they have no time frame when the rest will ship. I'm not understanding cause they have the same sale going on and all the items I purchased are in stock saying ships within one day. Now after complaining I keep getting the run around and emails saying ... Thank you for shopping with us. We know how excited you are to receive your merchandise. We are still working on a shipping update for order. I just would like the items I purchased in a timely manner, within reason, even a logical reason would be appreciated.

National Football League [NFL] rules

Why is illegal use of hands or illegal contact down field called on players that are on the complete opposite side of the field away from where the ball is thrown? The same penalties generally go uncalled when they're committed against the player to which the ball is being thrown to but the ball is deemed un-catchable!

Why sometimes a defensive player jumps across the line and gets back and no penalty is called and then other times it is called encroachment!?

Why is the illegal "pick play" in which receivers criss cross in order set a pick on the defensive player never ever called? However, when the outside reciever is literally one step up making him technically on the line or one step back making him in the back field making to many on the line or in the backfield causing illegal formation we get that call as if a team gained any advantage whatsoever?

Why are so many of the defensive penalties automatic first downs?

When the ball is punted and its not caught by the recieving team and the punting team watches the ball hit the ground and roll then they simply touch it and it's a dead ball. When the same punt lands inside the 10 or 5 yrd line the punting team can't just touch the ball they have to have possession of the ball?

National Football League [NFL] all the unnecessary calls in the nfl

It takes a lot of air out of you when there are so many flags on the field. In watching the Broncos vs. Chiefs 3-20+ yard players were brought back on penalties, penalties that shouldn't have been called. They called shaq barrette for a roughing the passer penalty for bumping a young mahomes when later in the game on a sack a 300+ pound defensive tackler brought his full weight down on Keenum without a flag. Let's make it fair, either call them or don't. Ed hockley being in my opinion the best ref in NFL history's son has botched this game. You have become so soft it's hard to continue to be an NFL fan.

The officials have cost Greenbay 2 games this year. UNbelievable, even the comments from the announcers of the game agree. I cant watch another game again its heart braking to see teams practice and work so hard all year, just to have the officals make unbelievable terrible calls. Calls that cost teams games ! Something needs to be done! We need to punish officals for bad calls. Until this changes I cant watch another game!

National Football League [NFL] officiating washington redskins dallas cowboys

QB Dak Prescott is already in a sliding motion going out of bounds, giving up on the play as #37 of the Washington Redskins is in a stopped motion but clearly initiates unnecessary and illigeal contact by leaning down his left shoulder causing direct contact to the head of QB Dak Prescott (whom again) is giving up on the play going out of bounds. A personal foul penalty should have been called in accordance to the NFL rules.

National Football League [NFL] the call on the cowboys vs redskins game

It was a offside on defense and got called on the cowboys and got cheated on the field goal and the whole game was like the refs was on redskins team the whole game look into this officials should be calling game equally and fair. This refs shouldn't be in the game if one of the teams is his favorite team because the calls start being just on the other team

National Football League [NFL] fine on burfect

Do you realize that you're basically punishing burfict for plays that just 8 years ago were shown as "hard nose football"? Ray Lewis made the same plays with NO fines or suspension and is in the HOF. I honestly think that the NFL is rigged and uses the officials to enforce a win. There are multiple calls by officials in key situations that have changed the game in favor of the larger market team. You want to talk about why you're losing viewers, it's because you're rigging games and punishing players for no reason.

National Football League [NFL] refs

Another horrific call in the Giant-Panther game with 14 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Three Giant defenders diving for the ball on a pass play. One Panther diving to catch the ball. Perfect defense. Absurd call for hitting defense less receiver. Giving them the first down which then led to a touchdown. How many bad calls can refs make? Every year there are numerous horrible calls. When will fans have a consumer advocate to do something about this? It is painful enough to watch your team lose, but to watch these refs just take over a close game with such a horrible call is downright depressing. It is time for ALL fans (because we all get screwed on these calls sooner or later) to demand that a consumer advocate be appointed. And that FANS choose the advocate. The NFL obviously can't provide us with quality refereeing. NFL fans unite!

National Football League [NFL] officiating

If ever there were questions regarding officiating neutrality in nfl games I think the MNF between the Chiefs and Broncos showed that there are some zebras in someone's back pocket. Three major non-calls swung the momentum of the game to the Chiefs: The obvious pass by Mahomes beyond the line of scrimmage; the lowered head by Hunt on Simmons; the expired play clock that allowed Mahomes more time than should have been allowed to run a play...all these just stink to high heaven and bring the subject of honesty in officiating to the fore.
If these officials are not reprimanded then it will be obvious to all that the NFL is not a sport, but a money driven fixed system.
Just another reason to turn off the games and enjoy something more satisfying.

National Football League [NFL] officiating

The NFL has finally found a legal way to control the outcome of a game. With the new rules they have created a team of totally inept old men that are ruining the game. I don't know how others feel, but I'm personally done spending my Sunday afternoons watching yellow flags every other play. They are indeed ruining the game of football and turning it into "patti cake, patti cake." We all know that there is offensive holding in the line on every play. Now they are calling it many times a game. They have no idea how to judge defensive pass interference and are totally inconsistent on when it should be called. The NFL site states that 'these guys are really good." these guys are pathetic.

Good bye NFL football and gutless Roger!

National Football League [NFL] rule on tackling quarterback

The new rule that further protects the quarterback from tackles and/or sacks is completely horrible. I'm from Chicago and watched the Redskins-Packers game today (September 23). The sack that Clay Mathews had on Alex Smith was COMPLETELY legal: he didn't hit helmet to helmet, he didn't go for the knees, etc. It was a good legal football tackle...AND I'm not a Mathews fan, either.

If the officials are going to continue to flag those kinds of plays, we are no longer watching football. It will be closer to flag football than real football.

I completely understand the desire to protect the quarterback...I do. But the line has been crossed (actually crushed) between protecting the quarterback and keeping the game that Americans love pure.
