I placed my order for a 05 Solid Color DOT NXT Half Helmet - Color Flat Black - Visor no - Size Med - Meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218 on May 7 2007. I received my order confirmation of my order from Google Checkout on May 7, 2007 12:pm for the Helmet at the cost of $154.95. It is now Dec. 18th 2007 and I still haven't received the product. After sending many emails, I did actually receive two email from Gabby Stating, 'We have had problems with the Google email system, When you contact us please use [protected]@nexlsports.com not the Google email.

Shells are being assembled and we will begin shipping finished helmets June 29, we will expedite your order to 2 day and refund shipping.' and that my order was in Processing. This is the last email I have received. I have attempted to call the phone number and the voicemail box is full. I called today and the phone number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

I did some thorough research yesterday. As I had said previously my husband & I were investors in the co. we had not heard from Gil in quite some time.
One of the phone #s I located on line was an atty.
Gil commited suicide in his home Oct. 17th 07.
Go to Santa Cruz Sentinel Obituaries.
His full name was Gilbert J. Williams.

"I thought his wife's name was Gabby. The obit comes up with wife of a different name. Any way, they still owe me $170 for a helmet ordered in 2006. Fat chance that I'll see any of that. Even after the Ca. states attorny office called me for info on their investigation. They are the example of INTERNET RIP OFF!"

Add another person to the list of people nexl has ripped-off. I have reported them to every consumer agency I could think of with no resolution.

However, the reason I am posting is to get the word out that their website is back up. For a while, it was not working correctly and you could not place orders. Earlier this week, I noticed that they are now TAKING ORDERS AGAIN!

How many of us can they take advantage of before someone shuts them down?!

If anyone has ANY info. on this Co? It would be greatly appreciated! We invested in this co. several years ago. The last we talked to Gil Williams (co owner) was Nov. of 07. He informed us he was closing down his shop in Watsonville. opening at another location & thinking of possibly selling the biz to a co. in China. Gone is Gil... Biz phone disconnected, cell phone disconnected, home phone disconnected... And obviously our sizeable investment is gone as well as are several other investors. We do know Gil is also a legal resident in Paris (my husband travelled there with him several years ago promoting the products). Other than that? He's MIA.

I to, purchased a helmet from these sacmmers. It was only after I contacted the BBB that I got some responces to my many e-mails. Forget about calling, there is never an answer. I finally got my money refunded back to me after a year. They always had some lame excuse as to why my helmet was taking so long to recieve, " we had electrical trouble, we moved our facility, we are having computer problems," blaa, blaa, blaa. Do your buiseness elsewere. For those of you who haven't gotten your helmet or refund, contact the BBB. They helped me.
