Newegg shady rma service

I have been a Newegg customer for 6+ years and this is the first time I've had cause to complain. I had ordered several parts for a new PC and everything arrived in a timely manner. After putting everything together though, there was a defect in one of the RAM slots which caused the PC not to boot. After discussing with AsRock technical support, they recommended I RMA the board to Newegg. After shipping the board back to Newegg, they informed me that the serial number did not match the one they sold, telling me that the board did not come from them. There is no information about the serial number they are shipping on the invoice or sales receipt.
I know the S/N on the motherboard box itself matched what they say they sent me, as I have record of my wife telling me that number in a chat. I can only assume the hardware itself has a different serial number. The box did not have shrink wrap, and I do not know if brand new AsRock motherboard boxes have it or not. So basically I sent them back exactly what they sent me, and they say its not what they sent me. There is no way I am able to prove I did not switch out the boards, which seems ###ic in the first place. All the emails and chats I've had with Newegg contain copy/paste responses telling me the exact same thing.
I doubt it would help if I had even checked the S/N's on both the box and the hardware itself, as they can simply say I just switched it out with something else. I am hoping AsRock will be able to actually do something about this, as Newegg has been entirely unhelpful, up to this point, which is extremely disappointing. If they are able to address this issue satisfactorily, I will update this complaint.

I want to update my complaint. After my support ticket was closed, they sent me a link to resellerratings.com. After posting my review their, I was contacted by phone within 30 minutes, and talked to a helpful support member. She said she would honor my RMA, overnight me the new board, and give me a store credit.

When I first received the board, the BIOS chip was out of date for the CPU I ordered. I needed the S/N for AsRock support to send me a new BIOS chip. She was home at the time and got the # for me off the motherboard box, not the board itself.

I encountered the same issue. Newegg has sent the same "NON-Newegg" item back to me. I already filed reports to the related authorizations.

Newegg fraud detection

I've ordered my 32 GB of RAM from Newegg 3 times now. Every time, the shipping address is confirmed and the card clears, the order is confirmed. Then, after several hours, they label my account as suspended, cancel the order, and don't deem to call me.

I'm using my American VISA credit card. I'm shipping to my American address. Newegg however, continues to insist that I'm trying to scam them with my real money and my real address. I've already ordered all the other necessary parts from all over the world, Japan, Great Britian Amazon, and the American Amazon. I've had no trouble with anyone but Newegg and all shipments arrived on time, three weeks ago. Except for Newegg, who refuses to box the package and send it.

I've called many times and gotten no help. I've waited in line to speak with their customer service several times. I've emailed them and explained everything, I requested that they call me, and I've not received a call or email. All the help I've been getting is a notification that says my account is suspended again.

I'm very disappointed with Newegg. I have never ordered through them and would not recommend them to ANYONE.

Newegg customer service is a joke

Horrible business practices and Newegg's malfunctioning computer system caused me to have the single most horrific experience with "customer service". It took over 5 days to place an order for a laptop due to
1. they won't contact you until 1 or 2 days later if there is a problem with your purchase, then they do it by email that describes your transaction has been denied
2. Their computer system created another account (the reason for my charge getting denied) when I changed my password and email address, then showed no activity.
3. They cannot and will not work to make your purchase pleasant. If there is a problem, theirs or yours, and they deny your charge, you have to go back through the process of picking out the item and checking out. Even though they can see everything you did to try to purchase, they refuse to serve you by helping the process along with making the purchase active and completing it.
4. You can get nothing to do with a charge completed over the phone (can't talk with accounting). You must wait until the person you call contacts accounting and then they relay to you what accounting says... never good news.
5. If they tell you they are going to do something, don't believe it! At one point in the process, the representative told me they would send me an email update. Never happened. I had to contact them back. Karma got her, because she answered when I called. Then on the 5th day of this ordeal, when everything is worked out, (by worked out, I mean they figured out their system had screwed up and they unfroze my account) they offer to send my $1700 laptop out overnight to compensate me for the hassle and my time. Guess what? Jerks changed it to 2-day and didn't notify me.
I've read on here where someone from Newegg says happy customers are their goal. Don't believe a word of it. When it suits them, I'm sure they do a fair job, but they will not go out of their way to assist you with issues, even when it's their fault.

Let me enlighten everyone to the utterly ridiculous experience I had with Newegg's "Customer Service". Let me start by saying I have never been driven to take my valuable time to post a negative comment about anything on a blog site. It just isn't worth it. Needless to say, this experience was the worst I have ever had with any company at any time. So, I've had an account with Newegg since 2004 or so. On the 23rd of February, I ordered a mouse from Newegg and received it the next day. AWESOME! At that time I had to change my password because I couldn't remember what is was. At about that same date, the company I am going to work for agrees to buy me this nice MSI laptop ($1700). I send them the link for the laptop I want and the office manager orders from Newegg. 2 days later, I get an email forwarded from the office manager that says the order is declined. It appears that an email was sent 1 day after needing verifications or something and the office manager filled it out and thought everything was fine. So, no attempt to contact anyone by Newegg, just an email saying that the order is declined. Arrogant! I call customer service and find out the issue is that supposedly the phone number provided is different than the one on the account. This happened late in the day on the 4th day, so we move to day 5. I now have both possible phone numbers that it can be and phone customer service and provide this to them. The customer service rep tells me that she will forward this to the fraud department or accounting and the office manager should get an email within the hour. We move to day 6, where midday the office manager is contacted via email to say that the account information (phone number) cannot be verified. The office manager has checked and knows that this is not correct and that the correct phone number was given. Newegg has now made me look like an idiot for trying to get my new company to buy from a company that obviously doesn't want their business. So, I am told by the owner of my new company that I will have to buy the laptop and expense it. Day 7, I mull this over and decide that maybe I will try. Could be the office manager is at fault. I've had pretty good luck with Newegg in the past. Day 8, I log in and attempt purchase of the laptop with my Paypal account. I think everything is OK and I forward a copy of the charge to the office manager and think smugly that I could do what she couldn't in a week. Day 9, I get an email stating that my charge has been denied. REALLY! I call and talk with Claudine. Claudine is nice and obviously has some intelligence, because she listens to her customer and probes to see if they (me) have a valid argument. I explain to Claudine the situation and tell her about recent and past purchases and she says there is no activity on the account and that it was created on the 23rd, but no purchases were showing. After about 30 minutes, she finds that there are two accounts, one that was created when I changed my password on the 23rd. So, she tells me that she will talk with accounting and figure out the issue and email me before she left for the day. I didn't get the email, although I honestly believe she thought that someone was going to take care of it in a timely manner. Day 10, my birthday, I get to my computer about noon and no email. I try to login and see a message that my account is suspended. I call customer service and I get Claudine. Before I knew it was her, I start unloading about the issues and she has the account pulled up because she doesn't understand what she did wrong? She has to call me back and we agree that if she doesn't do that within 1/2 hour, I will really let her have it. She calls back 20 minutes later and we stay on the phone another 30 while she works through whatever other issues they have. They did agree to pay for overnight shipping on day 10 of my ordeal, but I'm not really feeling great. I did order again and will see if they will find another reason to try to keep me from purchasing this laptop from them. Meanwhile, the reason I was ordering this laptop was to create a presentation video for an American Petroleum Institute conference is Singapore. My desktop was seriously lacking the punch needed to do this in a timely manner, so it cost me hours of production. The only good I see in Newegg is Claudine. They obviously have issues with their computer system if they can't keep a persons account straight, but the worst is how long it takes to get a response about issues with charging. This is the 21st Century. Join it Newegg. Customer Service cannot take days to resolve anything, with no effort on your part. I can't really tell you why I stuck with trying to make this purchase, but I hope this information will help other consumers by educating them of issues I've had.

Here's an update to this dilemma! So, Newegg offered to overnight my laptop on March 2nd, It is now March 5th and my laptop is sitting in a FedEx Sort facility, so I won't be getting that until tomorrow. I was told to purchase the overnight charge and I would be refunded. I do this and then check the tracking number. This shows that the item was sent 2-day, not overnight. No notification to me.
I call customer support and ask for a manager and get Anna. Anna is nice enough, but you can tell she cares only enough to keep her job. She recognizes the utter stupidity of the situation, but defends everything; she even tried to blame FedEx for the shipping error. She explains that it takes 3-5 days for a refund. When I ask why it takes so long, she replies "What do you expect? We have thousands of customers". My thinking is they must be really, really busy with all the problems they are giving customers. So, at this time, I have been given the contact information of a Mr. Chris J. Bastain, supposedly a supervisor with Newegg. I certainly will not be writing this again, so I will be sending him the link to these posts and I'll let everyone here know if there is any satisfaction to be gained or any good coming from doing business with Newegg. Remember, 13 days so far and no laptop.

Newegg avoid newegg if you're the type of person who wants their coverage plans to be well worth the extra money

Their customer service was good two years ago. Today, I was treated like crap: hung up on during a phone call and ignored in live chat.

My problem: I had a hard drive fail and was told that the "service net replacement plan" I paid for wouldn't replace the item.

They scam you into purchasing replacement plans that have loopholes for everything. I shouldn't be surprised though... the plan has a limitation of coverage for defects due to "acts of God." Seriously?!?!

Avoid newegg if you're the type of person who wants their coverage plans to be well worth the extra money.

Newegg ups mail innovations and newegg shipping

NewEgg has lost a customer. I ordered memory for a very good price. Newegg would not ship to my PO Box and this is where I receive all of my mail. Had to enter physical address. Once ordered, the package shipped UPS Mail Innovations. The package actually made it to the post office. However, the post office returned it undeliverable as addressed. Called customer service and explained the situation. CS rep offered a credit for price difference that would only apply AFTER I reordered the memory for the regular price.

Newegg had their chance. They have lost a customer. I have been doing business with them since 2003. Well, no more. UPS Mail Innovations sucks.

Newegg just down right pathetic

My little sister just had her first baby and I wanted to send her a gift. I ordered her a Blue Ray player and a movie from Newegg on 9/27. On 9/28 I received shipping confirmation on the movie and on 9/30 (3 days later!) I received an email stating "having difficulties processing your order" for the player. I called to find out that my bank was fine with the payment but that Newegg wouldn't ship it to the different address. In order for me to have it shipped there I would have to call my bank and have her address put on my account. Or my other option was to have it shipped to myself and then I would have to ship it to her. All i wanted to do was get a gift for my sister! I canceled the order and ordered it somewhere else. I will no longer be buying anything from Newegg and if you don't want a hassle you probably shouldn't ether.

Newegg - scam

Before Black Friday it was advertised that a 6 cell netbook was to be listed for $199.99 (Acer one) at 03.00 am PST. I received an email from Newegg at 02.42 PST for deals starting at 03.00 hours. There was no netbook listed but I decided to keep checking for it anyway so I kept my Newegg screen open, flipped back and forth on pages to see if it came on...

Newegg return policy

I recently purchased a "refurbished" laptop from Newegg. It was a stock photo, and the description included the latest operating system, so I was in for a shock when I opened the box and found a scratched up beat up laptop that was even older than the one I was trying to replace. In addition, it needs a new battery and sometimes it won't come on, or it goes off immediately, even when it's plugged in.
I contacted customer service at Newegg about returning it. They said I should take it to Apple and have it repaired. They are guilty of false advertising of their products and then not standing behind what they sell.
I will never purchase anything from Newegg again, and I will tell everyone I know about the garbage they sold me for $900. If they won't give me my money back then they are no better than a standard scam artist.

Be careful with Newegg! I was on their email list and offered an i Pad on 10/22/11. The add read original price $729 on sale for $499. Not being i Pad savvy, I thought that at $729 it was the current model. So i bought it for my wife for christmas. I then get an add from Newegg via email on November 26 that the i Pad (1st gen) is now on sale for $429. This was my notice that the i Pad may not have been the current model. I gave the i pad to my wife early and she figured out that it was an i Pad 1st gen. I immediately wrote Newegg on 12/8 and explained that it was a Christmas present that i didn't intend to open, but gave it to my wife early with concerns that it was the wrong machine. After five email exchanges, including sending them copies of the original ad and the ad that came out 35 days latter. Newegg's only response was sorry, you had thirty days to return it. It was like dealing with a very polite robot. I asked them to look at their own adds to consider the difference between the two and how the first was misleading but the answer was always the same--you should have returned it in thirty days--even if it was christmas present bought in October. So beware. Open what you buy from them and make sure it works and is what you want. You have to work fast because their "Customer Service" department is a misnomer. I will not do business with them again.

It's not fair that they said that the price had dropped. Wait, that's true. Well they didn't say it was the iPad, rather than an iPad 2. Wait, they did. This is a very valid complaint. Wait, it's not.

Newegg voided my rma without explanation.

I ordered a new monitor for my PC off of Newegg.com and received a defective product. The monitor simply did not work, when I plugged it in it was just a splash of colors across the screen. I considered the possibility that it may have been damaged in shipping, but the monitor showed no physical signs of damage so I decided to file for an RMA with Newegg. This was a huge mistake, apparently. A few days ago I got an e-mail telling me that my returned monitor had arrived at their facility (same day UPS reported that my package had been delivered) and that the monitor would be inspected shortly. I was told I would get an e-mail within the next few days with an update as to the status of my return. Instead, I get an e-mail today telling me that they haven't received my return (?!?!) and that the e-mail they had sent before was a mistake. I checked the status of the RMA and it is listed as "void." No explanation, what-so-ever, as to why they have suddenly decided to cancel my RMA/claim that they didn't receive it. I find this to be absolutely ridiculous. I used to love Newegg because of all the great deals they offer on computer components, but this seriously makes me wary of ordering anything from them again. What if I get another defective product? $150 down the drain.

Newegg empty boxes

I am posting this again (did already on one review site) just to vent my frustration:

I am somewhat conflicted with my review of newegg. Ever since i got into computers since this year January, i've gotten mostly every single component from newegg. My experience until my recent order of a couple of video cards have been terrific.

About a week or so ago, i order a couple of open box video cards which were priced terrifically. I also order an expensive motherboard to go along with them. Mind you this is for a person that paid me money to build him a computer. I wait, and the day arrives when they come in the mail. The UPS guy puts three boxes on my porch and i proceed to pick them up.

This is where the problem starts. I open the first box, and the motherboard (evga p67 ftw) is perfect... just like i expected from newegg. Second comes the video cards. I open the first box that's suppose to contain the video card and it's filled to the top with tons of packing paper. I just think it's good packaging until i get all the way to the bottom and find nothing!

I think to myself they must have had a shipping error and package both of my video card in one box... so i take a look at the last unopened box, and i still find nothing!

So i basically loose 500 dollars... which was paid to me by a friend for a computer. Luckly he is a friend and he didn't kill me.

I contacted Customer support and i tell them that i am missing TWO video cards and was sent two empty boxes... i don't think it's my ups guy since i order stuff from newegg alot and other websites and the guy is very trust worthy. She files and claim and i do get a refund, but only for one video card? I still am down 260+ dollars.

I have yet to get an email from her, but My UPS guy comes knocking on my door asking me if i have a damaged item i need to send back? I scratch my head thinking i never got anything from them except a box? And seeing that atleast they sent me big enough boxes to fit in products that needed to be shipped from my house to my customers... heck i used them. (i have tracking numbers from usps sending motherboards to three different people that i used the boxes for)

So now i don't know what to do... i received half of my money back, and have a guy looking for items that i never got. I feel frustrated. I loved newegg, i had some time today so i calculated how much money i spent this year on them (minus the video cards) 3698.06!

And i'm a college student! it might not seem alot but i feel like i've been a loyal customer ever since i peaked an interest in building computers. Now i will have to find somewhere else to shop :(. I live in IL so i have to pay taxes at microcenter or tiger direct :( "

Newegg rush processing scam

Having just been informed that my "Rush Processing", "Guaranteed 3 Day Delivery" order will be showing up 7 days later I like to help others avoid the aggravation.
DO NOT waste your money on "Rush Processing", it is a useless option!
Even though you pay the $2.99 there is NO GUARANTEE that your order will ship that day. It is a total waste of money.
All the fee does is put an extra money in their pockets...Newegg is laughing all the way to the bank.
Don't bother calling customer service about it either, all they will do is apologize and leave you hanging.
I've been a customer for over 15 years and they could care less.

I'd just like to point out that if you read the FINE PRINT on the RUSH PROCESSING FEE, it says, "Newegg offers Rush Processing for orders placed before 12PM PST for a small additional fee. Newegg will put forth its best efforts. We cannot however, guarantee that your order will ship the same day. If we fail to ship your order on the same day, we will refund the Rush Processing fee." - found http://www.newegg.com/HelpInfo/FAQSearch.aspx searching for RUSH PROCESSING.

Newegg shipping/return policy

I ordered two watches valued at roughly $200 each for my sons' birthdays. The Newegg shipping stated that they were to be shipped via two day shipping. However, the two day shipping occurred after Newegg took more than 48 hours to process the order. As a result, the watches arrived six days after I placed the order--which was too late for my sons' birthdays. So, I purchased watches locally for my sons. The fine print on their shipping policy states that the shipment will occur up to 24-48 hours after the order is received. My shipment actually occurred more than 50 hours after they received my order. I never even opened the package when I received it, and when I went to return the watches, the returns had to be made through Blue Dial Watches, which apparently is the company that Newegg had the watches shipped from. Blue Dial has charged me a $25 processing fee ON EACH WATCH for the returns. So I have been ripped off by $50, even though they failed to honor their own shipping policy causing the watches to arive too late. Please, please don't purchase from this company. Horrible customer service. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. Seriously read all of their shipping and return details. It is completely one-sided. There are plenty of other extremely honest and good companies online to order every single thing you could order from Newegg, and usually they will honor the Newegg price. Do not purchase from Newegg.

Newegg horrible ethics horribly unorganized

I have never worked with company so inept in my life. We ordered a TV that arrived damaged, they can't seem to keep track of phone calls we made to rectify the situation and now they are flat our screwing us and not refunding our money. Outrageous. We have more than given Newegg the opportunity to make it right and they do not take us seriously. Each time we call they just pass us from one worker to another and lie saying the problem has been fixed. They have lost far more than $1400, they have lost my future business and the business of my friends. Buyer beware.

Newegg is very unorganized...compared to Amazon at least. Sometimes they charge you 1 day before it even ships. Everytime Amazon charges me. I can be reassure it ships that same day. Why cant newegg be like that. My business mostly goes to the jungle store. Sorry newegg you keep getting left in the dust while my money flys to them.

Newegg rma issued but newegg decided to void it

I ordered a item off the newegg.com website. I recieved a defective item and completed a rma request for the item. Newegg decided they didnt want to deal with replaceing the defective item so they voided my rma with out waiting to get the returned item. Now I have to jump through hoops and deal with the company that they bought the item from. This is a sham of a company that doenst want to deal with customers at all. They just want your money and dont care if you are satisfied ot not.

Newegg very disappointaed

I tried to buy a Xoom tablet from Newegg. I signed up for the preferred customer plan so that I could pay my account off in 12 months or less. First I was accepted, then I was declined, then I was accepted...bottom line, despite the fact that I have an excellent credit rating, Newegg wanted me to buy with a credit card, rather than buy on their credit. So forget about applying for a Newegg Customer Preferred Account. Even though they say you've been approved (for $4000 line of credit in my case), apparently it means absolutely nothing. Newegg may have good prices, but if you want to buy on their credit plan, forget it!

I have a credit card with new egg called the "bill me later" card or "preferred customer" card. the promotion they offered with this card was 6 mo's no interest no payments. the first payment was due in june.

Back in March they withdrew 2097.00 from my checking account. When they did this, I called them and said I never authorized this charge, and they reversed the charge a week later. within that week I was charged almost 300.00 for a few overdraft fees because that unauthorized charge put my account in the red. I had a few automatic payments set up and they withdrew.

After calling them and telling them about the fees, they said they'd have a manager call me back. A week later, and after several calls back they said to be patient and that someone would get in touch. After this week of waiting, they happened to charge me again for the full amount of my balance, 2097.00. At this point I called my bank back and had them put a block on the company. At that point I racked up a total of almost 500.00 in overdraft fees, along with the 2097.00 they took, and did NOT refund this time.

After talking with my bank for a few hours, someone said they understood and agreed with me that what they did was illegal and sent them a fax saying they needed to refund the orig amount along with the bank fees. After almost a month of repeated calling, and getting NO ONE to cooperate with me or call me back I finally decided to try an ATM dispute with my bank until I got it situated as I needed to pay rent and bills and was almost kicked out of my place because of this charge.

Well, here I am and its now June. No refund what so ever from this place and I just got done talking with them and was told for about the hundreth time, SOMEONE would call me back. i doubt they will.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? How do I even go about filing a law suit against a credit card company? would it be possible to get damages if i get kicked out of my place and because my credit score is now almost 100 points lower than it was because of other things I haven't been able to pay like my cell phone and power company now that im close to 3k in debt over this?

How are you blaming newegg here? It was obviously your banking information was stolen. The only one you should be mad at here is your bank for letting this go through when you have never done business with them. Your bank should be the one taking charge and protecting you. Until newegg receives a notice from your bank or the police that it was fraudulent activity, why would they refund it?

Small Business Account - What a JOKE - Not a real help to those in Small Business.

Several are going to file a complaint with BBB and so forth from what I hear.

Watch out for their NEW Business Account they offer. You'll get an email welcoming you to your new account, "Deferred Billing Application Approved". Next, your receiving rude emails with invoices attached, from someone at New Egg, you'll respond...but they never reply back...like they drop off the face of the earth. Then a few days later another email, just with invocies, no introduction, no may I help you...you respond, once again you receive absolutely no response from this person. These are not "canned" emails, this is NOT one of those "unmonitored" email accounts. This is a live, living and breathing human being. Rather rude contacts and I have the emails. It's been a pure nightmare.

What's funny, is some of the equipment we received, had already been used or opened, had a person's name at the Windows start screen. We did NOT buy store returns or refurbished items. So, why did we receive them? We were billed for "New" not "Used". We didn't complain at the time, but after this nightmare, we should have. Some items came with packing so the items were well protected, others arrived with ZERO packing for protection. Most of the boxes looked like they were drop kicked, which New Egg can't control that, but they CAN control using PACKING. I guess that's what happens when your nice and let something slide...it comes back and slaps you in the face.

If they dont help this time, file a complaint with small claims court. I will never use newegg.com or bill me later services ever again, my complaint and dispute is small compared to your problem! Thank goodness. I ordered ram, I never received, they sent it US Mail, I told them when I filed a claim to ship it UPS, and again they sent it US Mail. I filed a claim again because again I did not receive it, this time for a refund I was denied it. Since I used their preffered account, I called them, and had the charges reversed only to have the billing reoccur the following month on my statement stating I must pay. So I am out $39.99, and no memory and I am forced to pay so my credit is not ruined. This this nuts or what?

Stay away from newegg.com!

Newegg I was the victim of identity fraud

I was the victim of identity fraud and I suspect Newegg is how they obtained my information. When I contacted Newegg and verified my account they confirmed that another name and shipping address other than the one associated to the account was who purchased a laptop. Not only did Newegg charge my account with them and ship the laptop but then "could not disclose" the name of the person they shipped it to to protect their privacy. I asked to speak to a supervisor but one was not available. Later the supervisor called me and said the same thing that they cannot share any information about the person who stole my identity. I am now working through the Whittier, CA police dept where Newegg is located. I will of course never be doing business with them again and shame on them for protecting their money in spite of doing the right thing for a longtime customer.

Are people really this stupid? Some one charges something on your credit card and its the companies fault they got your credit card info. People blame online websites for allowing fraudulent charges when the identity thief provides all the correct info. How is the online retailer supposed to know its not you? People legitimately buy things online and ship it places other than their own address. The only one the blame is you, take some responsibility here.

Newegg rma - coupon bait and switch

I've been trying to rma two defective video cards to newegg.com for a few weeks. First they wanted to charge me a $55 restocking fee for defective merchandise. Then, when I got that cleared up, they knocked a whopping $120 off my return because apparently they had put some sort of coupons or something for some lame game in the shipping box (Which I did not want nor did I have any intention of ordering, they just magically came with the order). I didn't send these back because I didn't even know that I had received them (I still don't even remember seeing them in the box in the first place), and so now i'm out $120 for coupons that I didn't use for two identical copies of some crap game that I didn't want in the first place. To top it off, I just checked their site for the same video cards I returned and they're basically the same price as when I bought them, only now they don't come with any sort of magic coupons, so they pretty much just ripped me off for $120. Nice, eh?

I've placed over $20, 000 (Yes, twenty-thousand) worth of orders with them over the years and have generally been very happy with the service, and i've always told my friends to shop there. Not anymore. Buyer beware!

Oh, and if someone from newegg wants to verify the veracity of my complaint, my order number is [protected].

Newegg bait and switch / changes product description after sale

This company is extremely dishonest and deceptive. I recently purchased a product that in the description was supposed to include a few items. When I received the product, it was missing something. When I contacted them, I pointed out the omission and instead of sending the missing item to me, they simply changed the description on the website. I have both versions with the exact same product number...one includes the item, the one after my call with them does not. They were incredulous that the item description was not changed, but I have all the proof. When confronted with proof, they denied everything once again. I have since put a block on our company from ordering anything further from them and will never do so again. This was by far the most unethical people I've ever done business with online. Avoid at all costs!

Newegg scammed me this week in the identical way. Newegg must have sold the company to a dishonest new owner or they changed management. I have been buying for YEARS and spend THOUSANDS of DOLLARS. They refused to send the missing part and deleted the words right off the item when I returned and clicked on it.
NEW EGG HAS TURNED INTO THE MOST DECEPTIVE AND DISHONEST COMPANY!
THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO BUY
I WILL COMPLAIN TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU

Newegg fraudulent charges

The so called secure site at Newegg.com is not so secure. I was hit with a fraudulent charge from this site on 7/12. When I called to inquire When I called to inquire about it, "their computer was not working well". They could not find what I had allegedly purchased. They were able to find my name and personal information but were not able to locate the purchases. In short they told me they could not help me to go to the police and file a police report, and to go to my bank and file a fraudulent charge claim.
End result, newegg’s is not too secure so its BUYER BE WARE.
