I have paid my New York & Company credit card in full a few months ago. I paid it for whatever current balance I had at that time, over the phone with an extra $10 and they assured me that I don't owe them anymore money. After 3-4 months, I found out that they are still charging me late fees and finance charges. Under the current economy, it is so hard to believe that big companies like this are taking advantage of consumers at this very tough time. I am hoping you could help me get a refund of what I just paid (again), because I feel like I should not be billed for anything after I paid in full and in good faith. Could you please help me? Birthday coupon

I was told in order to use my birthday coupon, I had to pay full price to get the $10 gift coupon towards my purchase. That was in September. I was furious and I went today and a very nice young lady helped me and made me wanted to continue to be a customer however the manager at that time was rude and unfriendly.

I am very unsatisfied with my card being declined. I buy so much clothing from this company... I wish to file a formal complaint. I was denied credit with a decent credit score.. I don't want anything else to do with this company and please stop sending me emails...

I was with my girlfriend shopping at Mall Of America there was a manager who has dark hair short and bigger. She had said she was sweating because she relapsed to one of her co workers I thought it was wrong to say in a store with people around. The girl with all the tattoos helped us we like her a lot.

I went to buy some clothes today and the service from one of the employees was horrible at the Lehigh valley location & the fitting rooms were filthy the garbage was full and had dirty diapers in them clothes all over the floors

UPS lost my package and admitted to it several times. The supervisor called to get information from NY & Co. to refund my money back and UPS said they've been getting the run around. It's been months and NY & Co. continues to give me the run around with why they are not responding to UPS. Customer Service at NY&CO are the most unprofessional and rude ppl I've every had to deal with. I'm now at the point of contacting the BBB, CEO and President to report them. Any other suggestions, I'm open to.

I have been a customer of NYC for years and they have never been known for customer service however, I had the worst shopping experience on 4/30/2013 at their Alpharetta, Ga North Point store. I shopped for an hour got ready to purchase my items which were over $300 and I asked if I could have my items left hanging and was told no by the cashier. I thought surely this is a mistake because I'm spending my money it's a few hangers and I'm sure NYCO cares if I am happy as a customer so I asked to speak to the manager Kristen and asked again and she told me no because they had to hang other clothes that evening.. I left all the clothes at the store and was shocked they allowed me to leave empty handed because of hangers I'm sure the company doesn't even pay a penny for. The next day I called their customer service dept which was terrible and was told NYCO has a hanger shortage and they could approve me to have 3 hangers. This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. They miss the point of ensuring customers are happy and having a great shopping experience. Using discretion and wisdom does not hurt. Even Walmart ( who is not know for CS at all) bags your items the way you want. They obviously don't care about service and therefore I care not to spend my hard earn cash with them. There are too many choices and when they end up truly suffering like so many other businesses that missed the boat on CS it will be too late. Don't ware your time or money with NyCO.

It's interesting that I have had a similar experience of rudeness. I changed my billing address and confirmed it a second time, yet they continued to send statements to the old address from 3 yrs ago. They charged me with late fees and reported my account as delinquent. When I confronted them over the phone, they said they only send to what's on file. They were very rude and continued to transfer me without any resolution. And when I'd ask what's on file, they wouldn't tell me. They are crooks and I too will be reporting them to the BBB.

I am going to close my account with NY and Co b/c after reviewing my receipts, I discovered that I have been overcharged multiple times. I started out adding up the totals on one receipt and discovered that the total was almost $27.00 higher than it should have been. I then decided to check my other receipts (lately I started shopping there quite frequently and now have several receipts) and found additional errors with the totals. On two of my receipts, the subtotal was correct, as was the tax amount listed, but then the final total was several cents too high. It may only be a few cents, but those are my cents, not to mention that a few cents taken from every customer adds up to a nice extra profit for the company. That kind of "computer error" is against the law. The other issue I have is that I have been charged an "additional tax" and I have no idea what it is for. The receipt breaks down the tax as state tax, local tax, and then an additional 1% tax. None of the other stores I shop at have some random additional tax that they tack on to my expenses.

I was curious to see if other people had the same complaint about being overcharged but I don't think people tend to check their receipts that carefully. I haven't yet tried to resolve any of my complaints since I just discovered the problems tonight, but I plan to go to my local store tomorrow to see what they plan to do about it. It makes me mad that I have to even mess with this, but they are probably counting on people not wanting to make the effort to resolve such issues. Hopefully they will take care of everything at the store, but either way, I won't be shopping there anymore.

I agree with you. They are rude and they also told me they had no "boss" there was no above them that would listen to my concern and then hung up on me. I work customer service for a large complany, there is always someone higher to assist you.

I have a reall BAD EXPERICES LIKE YOU i droped my check in the stored and check was cleared on time a month later I got a letter saying I did not make a paymnet and they start charge me late fee.
I call store manager she confirm that she has transaction number and is willing to talk to account center above
I call account center the person name "JACKSON" is really RUdE and unprofessional I then ask talk to his manager he told me he has no BOSS
I call back get another person is able to talk to his BOSS "Austn" however he has no help either basically he want me go to my back get my bankstatement and get a store receipt mail it back to them even they are the one make a mistake and wasting my time on the phone
call store manager back line was busy all day
I then have to drive back to store talk to manager again
I close my account and not to go back to this company anymore also will make a complain to BBB about their rude bad attutides and wasting customer time for their own mistake..
you need to go to BBB to make a complain about this company
