new beginnings day spa / unlicensed!

1 lees summit, MO, United States Review updated:

I was interested in getting permanent make up done so i inquired to new beginnings day spa and was shocked when i saw the prices but i later found out through a former employee that the owner did not even have a license to do tattooing! i cannot believe that just anybody thinks they can draw on people with a needle and give them something that they will have for the rest of theyre lives and not have to have a license for it! beware! i also realized that the owner who is a hairdresser ONLY was doing esthetic services on customers. for example; gx-99 body contouring and body wraps. she should be shut down and fined a pretty penny! this is absolutley rediculous

I would hope that the person that did this complaint did some research on permanent make-up and whats needed to render this type of service. You do not have to have a license to do permanent make-up. It is a certification program that you complete and the owner has her cosmetology license which allows her to do esthetic work, manicures, pedicures and waxing. If a former employee of this spa gave you this info.there is a reason why the person is a former employee. Before you start putting out bad info. and suggesting that someone should lose their livelihood do your homework.
