Netspan Group Rip off

I purchased thier postal package and found out within the week that the information was available from the post office for free. I contacted Netspan and told them I didn't want the package and would like a refund. They told me to send it back and a full refund would be sent out 7 days after they recieved the package back. Fed-Ex sent me an email stating who sighned for it and when they recieved it. I called to make sure they had gotten the package and have gotten the run-arround every scince. I've been told the recipient doesn't even work for them, they don't know anything about my claim, "I'm not in the computer", and can never reach the supervisor. Further research into their company shows a history of ripping people off and makes me wonder if I'll ever get my money back.

They had an add in the paper for local post office job openings. My husband applied and on March 16, 2009 they took 129.45 out of our checking account. My husband was told that when he gets the materials to go online and take the test. However, they failed to tell him you cannot take the test with the US postal service unless the job you are appling for is open. I felt then that something was not right. he called back and they gave him a line of BS and told him if it did not become open in 6 months we would get a full refund. i called numerous of times and got the run around. When i requested to speak to a supervisor i was told they were all in meetings or the call would have to be reviewed and they would contact me. this is crap. I just tried calling again and now the number is no longer in service. how are these people getting away with this!?! whom do we contact for help!

Netspan Group scamming money

I saw an ad in the paper for a postal position and I called the toll free number. The told me in order to be considered for a postal position I had to pay for the exam materials which cost $124.00. Therefore, I gave them my credit card number. When I received the testing material I then followed the directions. I had to go to netspangroup website then it directed me to the usps website. I signed up and I searched for positions in which there were not any available openings. I called netspan back and they advised me to check the website every two weeks because that is when it is updated, but if I do not receive a job in 6 months or offered a job and fail the exam I will be entitled to a refund. I was told to call back by February 20, 2010 in order to receive my refund. I called the number today and it is now a none working number and the website is now closed. I have four children and I can't afford to just throw away money. These people stole $124 from me and I don't see how they could get away with scamming people like this.

I bought testing preparation material for postal exam. Now there is no website and the phone number does not work. I was told that if I was not hired within 6 months I was entitled to a full refund of $129.45. I have been scammed! I just want to bring these people to justice and hopefully get them put in jail! I would love to see that money refunded to me one day also!

I bought the NetspanGroup postal exam in 2008. I contacted them 5 days after receiving my package on April 22, 2008; I talked with a man sounding like he was in his 20's. I called [protected], Iwanted my refund because the post office in my town told me it was a scam. The man I talked to denied this and said he would send me the refund of $99.50 with out going through the procedures to do the refund. I never received a check and the 1800 number I tried to call again said it was unavailable. I was unhappy to find I had been scammed. I pray these people go down one day; I doubt I will ever see that money again.

I too was scammed. I was told that the test cost $140.00 and they would find me a job within 30 mile radius of where I lived. It's been since Nov. 2, 2009 and no exam packet yet and the number you can't get through. It doesn't exist.

Hopefully you paid by debit or credit card...call your bank refer them to the web that states this is a scam and tell them you want to dispute the charges. They will credit all the money back to your account and investigate, if it turns out this is legit, which I HIGHLY doubt, they will return the funds, but not before they make them make good on their promise to provide a good or service.

Good luck, I too was fooled by them but I did not completely trust so I have gotten my case resolved. You will likely not have the opportunity to bring any justice to them as they are almost assuredly on to their next scam now and the company that was is no more. They made a run at a bundle of money, probably did pretty well and have now moved on.

Know this; "Justice is mine, says the Lord". Whether Christian or not, there is a power greater than us that can do much more than you or I can even imagine. Get your money back and thank God (or not) there is an internet to help us air our experiences.

Netspan Group Fraudulent Company

I am very disappointed, I spoke to customer service in November received materials for U.S. Postal Exam, however come to find out they took my payment and I am left with a book I will probably never use. I tried calling the telephone numbers I have and they are no longer in service. I am sure they are working under a different name so beware!

Netspan Group Billed but no materials mailed

I viewed USAJOBS.online.com and found the post office was hiring in the area that I was relocating to. So, I applied for the post office job in the new area through NETSPAN GROUP. I spoke to a Ms. Foster and she went through all the details and told me it wld be a one time fee of $119.00 for the post office study guide materials for the exam and also a 29.95 fee for shipping and handling. I was told that if you past the exam you would get a $119.00 refund. I was told I would receive the study package material in 5-10 business days. I called a [protected] number in 14 business days because I hadn't received my study package and was told by a Ms. Baker that it was a mess up with the order and Fed Ex would do express delivery and I should receive my study package in 2days or less. I called the [protected] in 4days and receive a fast ring. Still trying that 800 number for over a month now and still the fast ring.

Netspan Group Scam

I saw an ad in the local classifieds about immediate postal job openings and to call this toll free number. I called it and got suckered into buying the packet of information (for about $100) and, come to find out, there arent even any jobs open or testing dates open in the San Angelo, TX area. I am very upset and feel that I was taken.

I was looking for jobs online and came across this post office job. It said I had to pay 119 for study material and had to pay for shipping and handling. Well I was telling my family member about the post office job because I been looking for a job when I got out of the Army. I was happy because the economy is bad. She told me that she heard that no matter what you score on the test they tell you that you failed and keep your money. So I looked into it and sure enough a hand full of people was scamed from this company Netspan. Obviously I don't have much money or else I wouldnt be looking for a job. Then this happens and puts me in the hole even more. I just think these people should be sued for this. I can't believe people would do this with the economy so messed up.

I saw a ad in the paper saying there were immediate postal positions available, so I called the toll free number and they advised me that I had to pay $124 for the exam material. The packet was mailed from a company called the netspan group. So I went online to the website to sign up for the postal job and it took me directly to the usps website. There were no job openings so I called them back they advised me that the website positions are updated weekly so I have to keep checking it, but if I don't receive a position or if I fail the exam I am entitled to a refund and to call back by Feb. 20, 2010 to receive my refund. I purchased the packet on Aug. 20, 2009. I called back today, the phone number no longer exist and the website is closed. I have 4 children, I can't afford to throw away money. This has taken away from my family and I just can't understand how people can get away with this.

I am very upset and feel very stupid. I paid over 100 bux for this packet last November, excitedly pursuing a job working for the postal service. But, of course there are no jobs and the phone number you call for the refund has been disconnected. Oh, and the site has been closed. I'm a student with no money, and I patiently waited for my year to expire so I could finally collect this refund I so desperately need. How do these people sleep at night? Anonymously, so we can't go after them...

I have to agree with all of you; I purchased the packet as well through Netspan group in 9/2009 since I've been out of work since June. I paid 139.40 and spoke with Melissa Colton, in which advise me if I score less than 70% I would get a refund or if I do not get a job with 6-12 mo. I believed all of it due to back in 2006 I've ordered the same packet and went to take the test and scored more than 70% and didn't get a job from them so therefore not eligible for the position. So to me this all seem to be true; unfortunatly I tried calling them now because like everybody else no positions available and no examinations in Delaware. I tried calling back the toll free number, [protected] & [protected] Melissa Colton gave me to get a refund and for days it saying "ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY PLEASE TRY AGAIN". I am going to proceed with this to a higher lever and will be willing to be part of the class action to sue this company who is taking advantage of people through rough times.

My husband and myself has been out of work for months. We need to find employment very soon or we will lose our home. We saw the ad on Career Builder and called, got the package and found no leads. We tried to get a refund because we need every penny we have. The website has been closed and the when we called the phone number it's no longer in service. We have been taken. We feel so stupid. We just needed leads so we can find work to survive these very hard times. We are with who ever wants to take legal action. We could of use the $150.00 for food. Very sad!

My name is Chrystal Gulley. I purchased the Netspan Group testing package in January of 2009. Included in the package was a pamphlet indicating grounds for a refund. A person is entitled to a refund if there is no testing site within a 100 mile radius of their home within a 12 month period. As soon as I received my package, I immediately started studying. Everytime I went to the website to see if there were any testing sites in California, the website would promt "no examinations in California". I attempted to collect my refund by contacting the company, and not only is the number disconnected, but the website no longer exist. This is ridiculous! I invested my money in good faith and I was scammed, right along with everyone else. I am totally interested in taking this matter to another level. If anyone is interested, let us see how we could possibly form a class action suit against this fraudulent company.
