Netflix unauthorized credit card charges

I have unknowingly been charged for Netflix that I did not order, nor do I have an account with, on my credit card. This has happened on the 26th of each month since Sept.26/16 till Apr.26/17th. I had not looked at my statement as it was online and not a hard copy. The charges are $13.14USD from Sept26/16 till and including Mar. 26/17 and $13.20USD for Apr. 26/17. With the exchange, my card was charged:

Sept. 26/16 $ 17.84
Oct. 26/16 $ 18.03
Nov, 26/16 $ 18.23
Dec. 26/16 $ 18.27
Jan. 26/17 $ 17.69
Feb. 26/17 $ 17.67
Mar. 26/17 $ 18.03
Apr. 26/17 $ 18.44

Totaling $144.20
I would appreciate my card being credited for the 144.20 as soon as possible and the Netflix account be closed.
Thank You

Netflix awful content

Netflix is really beginning to suck. It's been the same crap forever, and when I just read what's on in May, I hadn't heard of 90% of what's on. Terrible tv shows, awful/unknown movies, etc. Probably going to switch to Hulu, which appears to be a lot better. You guys are a sinking ship, as evidenced by everyone I talk to agree and said that Netflix has officially 'jumped the shark'. Too bad

Netflix is definitely a sinking ship. Amazon far surpasses them in original programming and Hulu has better movies. I hardly ever watch cable anymore except for sports.

I agree. Most of the programs are trash, especially those produced for Netflix. The price increase apparently went toward producing these lousy shows.

Netflix take 13 reasons off the air!

This show targets teens. The content is not appropriate for children!
While I understand control of the TV, smartphone, computer is mine as a parent, children do their best to thwart control. If they view it at a friends home for instance.

After my daughter finished this series, she tried cutting and started talking about suicide as a way out of the horrors of High School.

My son's Middle school principal sent out a warning to parents and community resources we can access if our children are traumatized by what the show contains:

Rape
Self-harm
Suicide ideation
Bullying
A child who succeeds at suicide - in detail and for kids to watch.

The National Association of School Psychologists state, “research shows that exposure to another person’s suicide, or to graphic or sensationalized accounts of death, can be one of the many risk factors that youth struggling with mental health conditions cite as a reason they contemplate or attempt suicide."

Shame on you Netflix. Irresponsible!
SHAME ON YOU!
SHAME ON THE PRODUCERS!
SHAME ON THE WRITERS!

Someone said something about PARENTING! I have 5 kids and I control their lives! NOT THE TV. I've been teaching them about the bad and good since they where born, if they mess up, they will go to prison or about death, I use others peoples mistakes and mines to make a point. They appreciate life and so they try harder to stay that way, they know there is going to be hard times but also good ones Now they see other kids problems within their families at school.
I have been honest with my kids all the time, no reason to lie to them..i have no money or not feeling good, or work not good, they understand. FYI one of my kids gets bullied all the time and he can beat the living crap out of them and even myself wants to get their parents too. He knows I support him and that he actually has a way better life than those bullies and feels sorry for them.

If you are really mad at Netflix then kick them where it counts and cancel your membership. Hulu and Amazon have better material now anyway. I only keep Netflix around for Orange is the New Black. But Amazon's original programs have far surpassed Netflix.

Myself and other moms will have to cancel Netflix due to the inability to make changes. It was great when the children were younger but now we have little control. Parents should be able to control their own TV.

I as a parent should be able to block individual movies at my preference. I do not want to block all TV mature. I have a 15 year old that does need to make proper choices. But as a parent I should be able to make choices also. Been with Netflix over seven years would appreciate the ability has the cable companies to block individual shows.

Netflix dear white people

How is it you think this is in anyway ok? Would you show a programme called dear black people? No probably not. Just because it's white people it is still racism. I'm disgusted to a company like this thinking being racist is ok. I think I may delete my netflix account as my children can see this show when they browse. The only way to resolve this is too take the programme down.

Have you or anyone else in the comments actually watched the show? If not, you need to take a few steps back.

First of all, if White People hadn't given Black People enough hatred, discrimination, and barely concealed disgust in our history alone, never MIND the current state of things, perhaps they wouldn't feel as though there were a direct issue that needed to be addressed. If your argument in response to our country's history of slavery is, "Well, that happened before I was born, what did I personally do to you?" Then, quite frankly, you are missing the point. No one (living, anyway) is being accused of shackling POCs, the problem lies in our countries lack of remorse. Slavery is still mentioned in times like this because White People are doing a terrible job of acknowledging the past and actively working to make sure it doesn't happen again. It's not even being swept under the rug, so many people are still so proud that they have descended from slave owners.

Second, we're going to put a stop to all of this, "I don't see color" B.S. because that's a lie. When people start saying that, then that's when we start thinking that openings like "Dear White People" are 'offensive' and 'racist'. The title doesn't read "Dear Crackers". They are addressing a specific group of people. Are you white? Are you black? Or maybe Polynesian, Korean, Indian? Denying color can very easily turn to denying a very important part of ourselves. Why have different cultures if we're all the same? Because we're not. We as a whole need to start embracing other colors as much as our own. Notice I did not say appropriating. There are plenty of ways to appreciate cultures that are not your own without stealing them. My point is, look at your skin. Is it pale? Are you white? Then apparently, "Dear White People", is addressing you. The title has no hate in it, only acknowledgment. They are being clear in who they are speaking to. If you actually bothered to watch the show, then you would see what a fabulous job they did in exposing all sides of this issue. They reveal how both sides can be so angry with the issue itself, that even White People who are not racist can be portrayed as though they are, or get frustrated with how their own people are spoken about. They discuss the Police problems, again, both sides. This show makes it very clear from the beginning that the goal is not to spread more hate but to spread awareness of just how faceted the problem and the people involved are.

Lastly, while I do suggest a certain amount of parental discretion regarding how much sex occurs in this show, we should be teaching our children about the stains of our past and present, not hiding it from them. We should be showing our children what is wrong in the world through a loving and perceptive lens. You cover your children's ears because "Black people yell so loud", but maybe they wouldn't if they actually felt heard. White people have been writing off POCs for so long that they, quite justifiably, jump to the defensive. They scream and they fight to be heard because it has become standard to assume that they won't be taken seriously if they were to be polite and respectful. And where do you think they got that idea? Probably from White People who scream "Reverse Racism" every time a Black Person speaks out.

Netflix netflix compared to showbox

Ive had Netflix for about 3yrs now and I just have to say it is a scam! We have to pay for it OK fine but then you go on Netflix scroll and scroll and scroll some more because all the episodes are old American dad, Family guy, Always sunny in Philly, The Office, Bob's Burgers the list could go on and on. Now if you go on showbox don't have to pay for it and you can stream it to your t.v. But the funny thing is they have all new shows Baby Daddy, Simpson's, Family guy, Seinfeld, futurama, two broke girls are on there smh WHY PAY FOR NETFLIX AND GET NOTHING GOOD TO WATCH YOU CAN PAY FOR CABLE AND WATCH MORE!

Netflix bill nie saves the world

Netflix has sunk to a new low in broadcasting absolute filth with this new show. Under the disguise of environmental concern for the world, you had the nerve to create a rap about sexuality that is very offensive to some people. What gives you the right to infest young people's minds with this? The ice cream video was also extremely offensive. We discussed, as a family, if this continues to happen, we will be canceling Netflix. Many friends share this same decision.

Bill Nye Saves the World was never touted as a children's show. You are the parent. Your family is your own responsibility and no one else's. I don't care the propaganda either, but it's not your place to say they can't have this show.

Offering adult content to adults is well within the scope of Netflix. However, presenting a well known children's programming "Science Guy" with such ridiculously offensive adult content on Netflix is a horrible misjudgment on the part of the program decision makers of Netflix. If "Bill Nye, Savior of the World" (a rather offensive title in itself) is not removed from the Netflix menu, I will be removing myself and family members from Netflix.

Netflix supernatural tv show

I am very disappointed that the television show Superbatural was removed from Netflix. I thoroughly enjoy watching television shows on Netflix and was very disappointed to discover that a show I had been watching was suddenly removed from Netflix without warning. I feel like this is unacceptable as I pay for the account and it's services. I feel that there should have been some form of warning that the show was being removed.

Netflix audio

The audio starts in 5.1 and I don't have surround sound. Having to change my audio to stereo after each episode is an inconvenience. Startup audio should be able to be decided by the user not the assumption and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of viewers who don't have surround sound so standard audio should be auto. It seems like Netflix is not giving attention to detail.

Netflix girlboss

Dear netflix,

I have been a fan for quite some time... However, i've been noticing the very questionable rise of, what I would call, vehemently driven innuendoes centering around afro-american people, particularly black men. This over sexualized narrative needs to stop! Myself, along with many friends who are patrons of yours have arrived to the very same conclusion. And this conclusion was strongly emboldened with the show "girlboss"! Just 3 episodes in, and I was already sickened by the blatant overtones made clear by the main character's best friend named, annie, who claims to be in love with her newly-met and clearly incompetent bartender boyfriend named dax, played by a black actor. She constantly references all aspects of the relationship with comments about his "huge d*ck" (First episode). She even made a comment in the beginning of the 3rd episode echoing the words "ding dong monkey song" nodding to her plans with dax later in the day. And of course, sofia, her best friend & main character, sheepishly shrinks with laugher, treating her friend like an obsessive fool.

This is disgusting! As people who support your content month by month, we deserve better! We're tired of the "unattractive white girl screws hot black guy" narrative, only to be used as tools for their immediate gain with no substance to bear. It is teeth-gnashing and toe-curlingly obvious and we wont continue to have this plague the minds of our children any longer...

Please take down that show or me, my friends, and colleagues will cancel our accounts all at once! I am an established business owner and will have no part in supporting a company that denigrates the very people that line their pockets...

Thank you

Kevin little

ding dong monkey song was her suggestion for sophia's ebay store name. nothing at all to do with dax. she didn't say all black men have big dicks, just dax. finally, she is not unattractive at all and is not at all out of her league with dax, who has average looks. you are the reason race relations have turned to ###.

Netflix jessica jones

Marvel markets itself to kids and families, but Jessica Jones is mostly soft-core porn. Every episode is filled with scenes of graphic sex that continue on for several minutes. It adds nothing to the show and is just there to attract 'certain viewers'. Shocked that Netflix would promote such material. Daredevil and Iron Fist had a couple small suggested scenes, but nothing like this. We tried to stomach our way through the first few episodes by fast forwarding, but you still see everything and it's literally 10% of the shows content. Add in the language and blasphemy and you end up with a disgusting embarrassment of a show.

Netflix your show, dear white people

I think it's horrible that with everything going on that you would run a show like this. As if our country isn't divided enough? This is very controversial and if you think other wise you are part of the problem. It's because of media and shows like this causing division. My family have been Netflix subscribers for s long time but we are willing to part ways. Many other people I know feel the same way. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm voicing mine. I'm tired of everything being biased and turned into a race thing. Shame on you Netflix.

Netflix racist propaganda garbage {dear white people)

I just saw the trailer for "Dear White People" and immediately canceled my account. I find it really sad that Netflix has bought into this "It's not racist if you hate white people" narrative. ####ing disgraceful. I'll be having my family and friends cancel their accounts as well.

The basic premise is "don't do things we (blacks) don't like or we'll come destroy your (whites) property?" Somehow this is supposed to be a GOOD image for blacks? Ridiculous, it's horrible on both sides of the writing!

Netflix netflix announces racist series based off of discredited mtv documentary

"Dear White People", a show based off of the MTV documentary of the same name, has been announced by Netflix. The documentary it's based off of unethically cherry picks data from a study to further the agenda being driven, while simultaneously ignoring data that doesn't fit the narrative being presented. The show seems to continue in this vein, pushing blatant anti-white racism.
