Netflix charge record shows that they have charged my acct. once a month on the
11th day. My credit card statement shows that they have charged me twice a month.
That is...that they have been double charging me. I want the overcharges refunded
to my credit card...and their billing proceedure corrected immediately. If there is no
compliance I will terminate my account. Visa xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-5678

Today, I just discovered Netflix has been overcharging me by collecting 29.00 for one of my debit cards and 19.99 for another. Years ago, my wife was having technical difficulties, not being able to delete a pending movie scheduled to be watched. so, we called Netflix and the representative suggested that I cancel the old email and sign up with another email. I was told the old account would be deleted. However, both email accounts continued, and payments automatically were taken out from 2 different banks. Yes, we are seniors having lots of medical issues and trusted the representative. When I discovered it, Nefflix refunded me 99.00 dollars which is only a fraction of what I paid over 3 years. Netflix has been cheating people for years and making no effort of stopping this practice. My wife watches Netflix but I pay the bill so we did not communicate about costs. Please be aware! If they say an account is canceled double-check. My wife loves movies so I have Demand and Amazon Prime. So, I did not hesitate to cancel Netflix.

I just realized a similar situation has been going on and same, for years double charged and somehow the customer service came up with a $61.96 refund and a quick response of that is all, “take up the rest of the refund 16.99x2(twice a month) for more than 3 years with your bank”. I asked a few times how “Atharva” even came up with that amount and he/she can not answer that even, but tell me again I have to dispute the rest with my bank. So they (unauthorized) began charging me twice when I had my bank card stolen a few years ago and all I believed I was doing was entering my new card # into my account. Instead Netflix opened a new account . As I’m reading from , they have taken advantage of so many, I’m not alone. I have been a good customer through the years and I am so disappointed now. They are theives in my eyes now. WOW NETFLIX!

This is a third party website not directly affiliated with Netflix. You will need to contact them and/or your bank directly.

Just found out they've been double charging me for the past 2 months. Glad I caught it sooner than later. The overly friendly chat help wasn't helpful really as all he could do is tell me he sees the problem and gave me a 1-888 number to call. Bank statement shows two charges coming out but my netflix account says otherwise. Gonna call them tomorrow and hope I get it straightened out.

One thing though. I live in Canada and I (definately do not) use the DNS trick to get US netflix. Could this affect payments in any way?

Complain from Colombia. I got a subscription whit Netflix, after some time Netflix charge me Twice, I tried to cancel the account using the cancelation website in the page, but it was unsuccessful, every month I got a bill from Netflix. I called my credit card bank, and for my surprise they told me that they have received more than 300 complaints regarding Netflix billings. they suggest me to cancel my credit card number as the only way to stop this ###.

This happen to me about two hours ago.I live outside the US and there is no contact number besides the national one. The members' 'Help' area on the site does not HELP at all.. I look for them on Facebook and wrote them a message explaining the issue and requesting them to refund or cancel the extra charge with my bank but haven't answer me yet.. I'm a little worried about that. If they don't give me a solution I'll cancel the account and wont recommend them to anyone.. I work for an US company outside the country and I treat with customers and solve similar issues regarding to billing and payments and I know what is possible and what not and how to do it. This shows a bad customer service and support, and a lame company treat to outsiders.

I would definitely call or email them. I had a problem with my bill- I was supposed to be getting a free month, but apparently I had already used a free month at a previous time several years ago. I called and explained the problem and that if I could not get the free month then I did not want it. I was not given any hassle. They canceled my subscription no problem and no questions asked and then refunded my money for the month within 3 business days.

I hope they can get this all figured out for you. This happened to me about a year ago but I do not recall ever having a hard time contacting them at all. I am so sorry that you are having trouble. In these tough economic times it stinks to be double charged for anything, especially something that is technically a luxury.

My problem with them is that they do not have a huge selection of on demand live streaming movies.I would not sever ties with them just yet as I think they are a pretty good company for people to deal with. I think they can and will work out an equitable solution for you.
