I am very disappointed in Netflix for creating original series that seem like family-friendly favorites but which are actually shows with political secret agendas. I was really excited about Anne with an E, until every episode was suddenly riddled with homosexuality and condoning a lifestyle that I don't approve of. There are plenty of platforms to reach the LGBT audience, and hijacking family-friendly movies and classic literature is not the way to do it. It's dishonest, deceitful, and abhorrent Behavior, not to mention the fact that it violates the nature of the actual original literature and the beliefs of it's author.
I don't pay for my membership with Netflix to be tricked into watching distasteful garbage. What if I had let my child watch it because I trusted it to be the safe, family-friendly Anne of Green Gables that I remembered.!?!?

@ Anne w/ an E: You make very good points. Unfortunately, media (in general) is not at all interested in traditional or wholesome values. Those with the money and power to shape minds and behavior do, indeed, have agendas and they are succeeding. Their influence is far and wide and those who don't like it are criticized and/or completely ignored. There is no easy answer. There is no simple solution beyond unplugging.
first of all it isnt supposed to be for your child as it is twelve rated and it wasnt aimed for you either who i presume is an adult... the show is aimed for teens who are going through all of this controversy at the moment so as i can see your a karen so please get of the internet shaming teen shows
plus the show isnt the same as the black and white movies that you are probably used to be watching so watch those instead please
plus lbgtq+ was in like 1 or two episodes max so why get so worked up about it
