Netcom3 No support or response

I purchased Netcom3's registry removal product. While I was downloading, it was doing very strange things to my computer and I installed it immediately. It took them 5 seconds to take my money out of my checking account $49.95 AND their bank tells you they are charging YET ANOTHER fee of $19.95 which they did not disclose ANYWHERE until you hit submit order and can't return. I've sent them emails daily asking for a full refund. No response. Their website only has 1 email address to contact them and that is the tech support one WHICH DOES NOT RESPOND. There is NO PHONE NUMBER LISTED ANYWHERE FOR THEM. Has anyone else had any luck with this scam of a company? PLEASE HELP SMB!

All the effort to contact Netcom3 results in ZERO reactions.
The only reaction is from their automailer.

After that I have sent a FAX to Clickbank [protected]) .

PERFECT!

I got a refund of the past 2 months and all the payments stopped.

Clickbank has a special page to stop the payments (http://www.clickbank.com/csinquiry.html)

In my case (after much frustration and many tries) the software package finally does work. They have claimed, my problems are indeed known to them but my case is a very RARE exception. Believe this if you will.

As far as I can tell the software is pretty much useless. Every time I sign on to the net I have between 30 and 80 "errors" reported which the software has detected. Repeat, this on first sign-on immediately after a "repair" (using their software). I guess, good old American scare tactics -- this comment, since no useful explanation is provided what these errors really are.

WORSE, they have indicated that they will charge me another $49.95 for the next year.
Since my wife hates the time waiting for the Netcom3 software to start-up and "check", we wish to cancel. HOWEVER, they did not provide a mailing (street) address, or an e-mail address for commercial correspondence. This appears to be a scam: I cannot report them to any consumer agency, since we do not even know from where they operate and conduct their business (Russia?, Bulgaria?, Israel?).

I will instruct my credit card company to block any attempt from these people to charge me for whatever..

I purchased Netcom3 back in May and was able to download it on the computer I had at the time. I have since purchased a new computer and attempted to download the same software and got an error message stating the files were corrupt. I have contacted Netcom3 via e-mail 2x and have yet to get anything other than an automated response that they are working on the problem. I reported the problem 3 days ago. I guess that's almot $50 down the tubes.

Netcom3 Well organized scam

Are you looking for Registry Cleaner software for your PC?

Whatever you do, do not go for Netcom3. It is a scam that needs to be stopped. Their registry cleaner software identifies a huge number of problems with your registry when you run the trial scan, for the first time. You panic and you buy the subscription online, using your credit card, to stop your machine from the imminent crash.

The software does not work properly and it removes files that should not be removed. In disappointment, you mail them and use their website to cancel (forget refund!) the subscription. Thats when the real fun starts. They ignore you and your credit card gets debited every month!

Do what I did. I changed my credit card number so that they can't charge me anymore.

But why is the Netcom3 software so highly rated, as you will find if you do a Google search? The answer is on Netcom3 website itself (http://www.netcom3.com/partner.php). They give you an 80% commission! I used http://www.registry-cleaners-reviews.net/, which recommended the Netcom3 software. Someone called John Whitter, senior editor recommends the software. I bet John is laughing all the way to the bank and you and I are having our computer registries and bank accounts cleaned.

There are a whole series of user complaints on: (http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/scam-and-cheating-c42649.html) for your reference.

Thank you Ursula, and all who have advised on Netcom3. I was about to purchase this and am so grateful for the heads up on the company.

I'm not sure if you're allowed on this site, but if anyone could recommend a legitimate register cleaner I'd be extremely grateful!

Netcom3 Netcom3 is a scam that needs to be brought down!

Within 24 hours of giving them my cc details, I sensed a scam and I am right! I should have caught it when their overseas address is not proper. I am from Mumbai and rest assured I'll make an official complaint in India too! This site gave me password and registry # but the software was not able to remove the critical spyware/adware at all. There was some writer for consumer-reviews.com by the name of John Whitter who had rave reviews for netcom! It was for commission! I had been hit by a company in the past, their name was The Results Group in Arizona. I did not let them enjoy my money. Rest assured, Netcom will wish they had not known me!

BBB already has a complaint from me. Credit card is canceled and # changed. Federal authorities will be notified on Monday 3/24, for a wire fraud. Clickbank took my info by fraud. Have sent them an email. Ebay also sells netcom and I have shot a letter to them. I am an author on searchwarp.com so a nice article will be written there and I have my own blog, so one goes there.

Let's see how much you enjoy my money and that of trusting Americans, netcom!

Netcom3 Scam!

8152 Rodeo Dr.

Netcom3

Scam and cheating!

Upon a web search for a hard drive cleaner software I came upon a 'Consumers Report' site claiming Netcon3 was a 'best buy'. I logged on to the site, followed the instruction and entered my credit card info. I had a virtually identical experience with Netcom3 except that in my case I got a log on code and downloaded the software. It appears to be incapable of removing anything from the computer, and they do not respond to technical support requests...

I downloaded this cleaning software only for my computer to go even slower then before. I continually got charged monthly for something that did not even work. My cpu finally shut down and had to get another one. Just today looking at my bank statement here again I am charged for something on my shutdown cpu. I noticed a phone number for the first time [protected]. I got the subcription as salesperson called it cancelled. I have mailed and mailed with no response and here now is a working number!

I too have found out the hard way that Netcom3 is a scam, paid the money but did get a code but now computer playing up which it wasn't before their program. Their website comes and goes, one day there and next can't find it. No longer answer emails, and have put in request to clickbank to stop any more payments to them, if not successful will cancel card. THEY ARE NOT GETTING ANYMORE MONEY FROM ME.

Signed up for a Netcom3 30 day trial. Canceled it at 28 days. Was supposed to get complete refund. They not only did not refund the first two charges, but continued to charge my account. Sounds as if this is a standard business practice for them. Saw no performance benefit from using their software. The scans take a very long time. With my experience with the company I would warn against trying to use this service.

Only after I downloaded the trial version did I descover the high price of this utility software.
I immediately uninstalled it, but was notified that some of the program would have to be removed manually. Now what's left loads at start eventhough it is no longer in my program list.
Software companies should be disallowed form putting people in this spot.

What's really messed up is that Netcom3 has a "product review" video on YouTube. But it's pretty much just an advertisement for this illegitimate product.

Check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwtMx9MLoq4&feature=related

The ratings for the video have been disabled and comments must be approved before being posted. Hmmmm . . . I wonder why?

These people are crooks and I just don't understand why our government isn't cracking down on these scam artists!

I d/loaded the Crap a few months ago, like others I was fooled by the amount of Malware they supposedly found, but then I ran SPYBOT the free software and it told me that Netcom3 is Malware so I removed it with SPYBOT, that will shift it, no problem

Netcom3 Scam and cheating!

Upon a web search for a hard drive cleaner software I came upon a 'Consumers Report' site claiming Netcon3 was a 'best buy'. I logged on to the site, followed the instruction and entered my credit card info and waited for return E-mail with 'log on code'. It never came. I waited a day and E-mailed 'support'. No reply. Every day for 6 days I E-mailed and have yet to receive a response. They charged my card day one. I am now going to have to 'dispute' this charge in writing, (a monthly charge of $9.95), to stop it. They have 'offices' listed around the world. I have no phone number to reach them, only a 'support' E-mail form. Big rip off,if you ask me. BEWARE of Netcom3!

My experience with Netcom3 is doubly painful. When I agreed to buy it (at US$49.95 per year), I was met by a Message Box which indicated that my credit card details were wrong, so I tried again and, unwittingly, purchased TWO copies of the program! I have been trying for the past 3 months to get my money back ("60 free trial" ha ha!) but have been met with a huge wall of silence. Having now seen this website, I finally understand - although I did have some suspicions almost from the outset.

Just thought I'd add to my previous comments about my unfortunate experience with Netcom3 Cleaner (Haven't they morphed that name into something else yet?). I discovered something called SuperAntiSpyware which did a fine job of eliminating almost all the remaining threats still deposited into my registry by Netcom3 and their good friends PCPrivacyCleaner. I've tried for several weeks now to fix my XP System Restore feature, totally disabled when Netcom3 was installed, but having explored the many technical tricks and techniques I am still hooped. Nice job Netcom3. I hope you're proud of yourselves, you crooks. Still, I've discovered some very good advice, always setup a manual restore point in the System Restore feature before downloading absolutely anything from the internet, just in case an online crook like Netcom3 fiddles with one's ability to restore his files and eliminate their threat.

Hello all,

I too was infected by Netcom3. It installed into my registry and it killed my internet connection and removed my router settings from the registry. This happened because my wife used my computer without running my antivirus software first. This is what I did to fix the mess Netcom3 created.

1. Installed Spyhunter 3 and ran the software which removed Netcom3 and other threats.

2. Logged into my router setup page at http://192.168.1.1/basicsetting.htm and hit the apply button under (Basic Settings, Wireless Settings, and Advanced Wireless Settings) to restore router info back into the registry.

3. On Windows desktop click Start, Run, and type CMD to open command prompt then type the following commands hitting the Enter key after each command:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns

It appears that Netcom3 pricing varies all over the map. This company managed to squeeze $39.95 out of me (for a valuable lesson learned) before I realized that it was an online scam artist. Not only did it never fix the bugs it claimed were on my drive, but I believe its software invites or possibly actively downloads Trojans into the registry and system 32 files. Less than 2 months after I installed Netcom3 registry cleaner on my drive, my system was infected with something called PC Privacy Cleaner. Despite using SpyBot and Malwarebytes excellent software I can't get the PC Privacy Cleaner junk off my system.
PS my system runs better now that I've deleted the Netcom3. Don't buy it, you'll be glad you didn't.
