This is my 3rd visit to this place. 1st visit was the x-ray and general examination.
2nd visit was for tooth filling. They charged me $180 even though my co-pay was $about 130.
On my third visit I paid $150 when I had to pay then $50. They credited me the difference between $180 and $130 from the 2nd service during the 3rd service co-pay ONLY when I asked them.
Now when i got the claim from my insurance and I ask them for a refund, the receptionist was very rude! I wonder why they charge so much when they know my co-pay.

I recommend every one to check their copay with their insurance if they ever got a service from these people. They are a rip off. The doctors there are really good...but the management SUCKS! its a rip-off if you are not careful.

I am one of a growing number of DIS-SATISFIED, FORMER Neibauer customers. I went in for a cracked tooth on November 19, 2012, and all they wanted to do there, was schedule me to come back in at a later date to have 5 (yes FIVE) perfectly good fillings drilled out and replaced with some resin filler crap that would only last 5-7 years max. The temp crown they put on fell apart in my mouth 3 days later - without any notice and I was NOT eating anything hard, as per their instruction to me. The final Permanent crown was TOO HIGH and has impacted the root of a perfectly good tooth - WATCH OUT for these clowns. The circus-type treatment I got while there should have clued me in, but I didn't follow my gut feeling, unfortunately. I miss the dentists' of the '70s when they KNEW your whole family and didn't try to make money at the expense of your pain. I am seeking anyone who is part of a class action suit against Neibauer. The dentist I am seeing TODAY as a matter of fact, has told me that he gets a LOT of Neibauer former patients.

I have not had a great experience with them either. They removed 2 wisdom teeth which seemed to go ok but I still had lingering pain in a tooth near one of the extraction sites a few weeks after. One doctor there said I would likely need a root canal through my existing (and, I might add, 6 month-old) crown but that they could likely fill it. Wanted me to come back thought for a second consult with Dr. Hu. On the second consult, Dr. Hu rather quickly concluded that a root canal was in order and that I would have to have a completely NEW crown put in. I was then taken to the consultation room to absorb the shock of what I was going to have to pay. Talked to a few other people who were skeptical of the need to replace the crown (I've never had a root canal) so I called back and asked why the two dentists had conflicting opinions on how to proceed. They told me they'd call me back in an hour. They didn't. Next day, I decided to get a second opinion from a prior dentist so I called Neibauer and asked to have my records sent over. 2 minutes later, the dentist there called me back (how surprising) to say that it was ultimately Dr. Hu's call on what to do and he said the crown had to be replaced because the existing one "didn't look good". Went for the second opinion and the doctor said the crown looked fine and that a "wait and see" attitude was in order since the extraction caused trauma that the tooth could still be recovering from. I also found out that at Neibauer they had marked down the WRONG tooth to have the root canal done on. Needless to say, I have lost confidence in Neibauer and won't be returning.

I was a former patient of DR Bhala until she left and now the ONLY dentist there at the Herndon branch is Dr Hu. I've just gotten a crown done and it was bad all the way. I told him and the assistant I'd some pain in the temporary crown put in and despite that he simply yanked out the temp. crown without giving me any warning! And after that, I insisted on getting an anesthetic but wait, isn't that the job of the dentist the ensure the patient's comfort level? I did say PAIN before anything started but yet my crown got yanked out without any warning? This was the first time I've had that much pain that tears were streaming down my eyes and I'd the 'sunglasses' to cover up the tears but if it weren't that painful I wouldn't have shed a tear. Never have I felt that much pain in the years I've visited ANY dentist in my whole life and this is one traumatic experience I won't forget. And on top of that, the front desk is completely incompetent. Its always a different person at the front desk and all the sudden your appointment gets switched without you knowing. So if you call this week and call again next week, you'll get two different people telling you two different timings for your appointment what the heck?! That's just non professional. There must be internal issues at this dentistry cause a year ago they used to have 3 other dentists and now its down to a newbie Dr Hu. I'm sure he's not going to be there for long. I would say DO NOT go to this dentistry. I'm done. I'll not be returning for sure after such a bad experience. And yes they aren't exactly cheap either...so go figure.

Guys, these complaints are absolutely true. I went on 3/5/2010. I had my fillings done on my upper jaw teeths with Dr.Salartash. I was having problems again and when I went back they said Salartash is not with the practice any more and Dr.Hu attended me. This guy always overbook patients, you wont believe he is worked this Christmas day also. he is just looking out for money. he attended me 45 minutes beyond schedule. I explained him I am having pain in my upper right teeths. he did initial screening and said there was a gap in between my teeth and jaws and needs to be filled. he gave me anasthesia on upper teeth and started looking patient. I waited for 20 minutes and have to call him to treat me. He came rushing looked at the computer screen and started working on filling my lower teeths. I told him I was having pain in my upper teeth. he then told me that filling is going to take long time and frontdesk has booked the appointment for filling my lower teeths. weird. I explained him I am having pain in my upper teeths, he gave me anasthesia on my upper teeth and completely forgot about it.

This guy is just money minded and keeps you waiting. STAY AWAY! from this practice. especially the Herndon one.

This place is a joke. Have only been to one other dental office that was worse. Had a root canal done. While waiting for my cap my temporary broke. I called and they said my cap should be in anytime. I went back in and had another temporary put on, at that time I found out Dr. Bhalala then iformed me she hadn't even ordered it, or put a post in. So when she was suppose to be doing a filling she put my post in and another temporary cap. Put the temporary cap on wrong and the back is cutting into the back top of my mouth. And I still don't have my cap. Went in tonight to get a filling and she told me she was to inexperiened to do my fillings and caps. Now its to late to use my dental benefits for this year. I was embarassed that she treated me like this. If she is so inexperiened if you don't need anything but a cleanning and a filling go to her. Otherwise STAY AWAY!

I agree 100%, and if you notice they keep changing your dentist. No dentist stays there for more than a 6 months. There must be something wrong with that place.
