I have the exact same story. Purchased an item through Plum District, tried to use the voucher and merchant wouldn't accept it. Requested for money back and ncrowd issued a voucher. ncrowd became boomstreet and boomstreet gave me the same response. There must be something we can all do. The rate they keep changing their business name is ridiculous.

I got the same response. This is bull. The company is stealing money. We should be able to do something about this. It has to get out on a national scale, otherwise they will just ignore us.

nCrowd Unable to Redeem Vouchers

nCrowd has foreclosed according to the source below. nCrowd currently doesn't sell any goods or services. I would recommend that you request ASAP chargebacks from your credit card company for all nCrowd vouchers that can't be redeemed and for unused store credit (which is now useless). The fraudulent people who own nCrowd has now rebranded and launched a site called www.boomstreet.com. I would avoid doing business at all costs with Boomstreet if I were you. I bought a coupon on nCrowd and when I called the school to reserve what I had purchased they told me the coupon was a fake and that they don't do deals with nCrowd. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING ON nCrowd!

nCrowd Money not covered as per agreement

I am frustrated that I had to have my $50 voucher that I purchased from ncrowd in good faith rejected by Rocco Plum Tomato because they say that ncrowd is a scam.They say that ncrowd is not paying them and is going out of business.
My total bill was $59.66 and I expected that $50 would be deducted as agreed by the $25 purchase of the voucher. That was not the case. I am out of pocket the entire amount and $18.75 was promised to be added in my ncrowd account which did not happen. The $18.75 was credited to my mastercard eventually.
What an insult! Why was the $50 not covered as per our AGGREEMENT? The entire transaction was a complete embarrassment for me at the restaurant.This should never happen. I will not be out of pocket and I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and allowed the media to be contacted as a first step.
DO NOT SHOP AT NCROWD AS IT IS A SCAM! The only person that helped in the past-Carl Short is not responding? I have sent emails with no response. Stay away from ncrowd...buyer beware!
You cannot trust that the voucher you buy will be honored so what is the point.Who needs this aggravation?

nCrowd I didn't get the sum back, but the deal was over

I have purchased gold plated cards from the company www.ncrowd.co.uk, and the card was charged on time. However, the rep from this website contacted me and told that the deal was over and when I have purchased the card, they were available for different sum. He asked me if I wanted to add the sum or would like to cancel the deal. I told that I wanted to cancel the deal, and the rep told me that the refund would be within 10 business days. I still haven’t got this sum back.

nCrowd no disclosure of return policy

I received a defective product. Neither on the web pages, the receipt or emails does it say that there is a 14 day only return policy. I have printed out all the information just in case they realize that they do not have full disclosure and will remedy this situation.
When I emailed that I received a defective product, they emailed me about the 14 day policy. I believe I received this product 7 to 21 days ago. I have ordered 100's of dollars from this company and never complained (except for one item that took 3 months to receive) and they will not refund 16.00!
I only wanted a replacement product (I was never told whether it was just my product or all of the products.) and disclosure of their policy on every receipt that they send out.

nCrowd Refund

I bought makeup brushes online on nCrowd. It was over a month and company never delivered product. Upon contacting their customer service department, rep advised me that I am contacting them too soon and that I need to wait. After 7-10 business days, I emailed them back and they said that they vendor is not responding. I told nCrowd to return my money. I had initially paid through paypal. Instead of returning my money to paypal, they have given me store credit. I will NEVER MAKE another purchase with this company again so how can I ever use store credit? This company is nothing but big fraud. Please never make another purchase with this company. I know that I never will.

I purchased a "deal" with plum district (Ncrowd) for $45 for $500 worth of classic comics. I should have known the deal was too good to be true. Sure enough I received my purchase and $45 dollars worth of comic books amounted to 5 comic books, 2 of them which looked to be taken out of the trash. One of the comics had the the top of every page to be water damaged or yellowed from the sun, the other one was totally folded and bent and looked like it came off the floor after being trampled. When I emailed Ncrowd, I was offered 10% off my next purchase, HUH? I emailed them back asked for a refund and was told no refunds would be given. The deal terms state "No returns unless item is defective". Maybe its me but I think the condition of the comics is certainly defective. I've since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I realize its only $45 but its the principle of the thing. I feel I was misled first by the deal itself and then to receive the comics in the condition they were is an absolute joke. My only hope is to give other consumers some insight on how horrible this company is and how horrible their customer service is. Hopefully this company goes out of business soon which would serve them right for the way they treat their consumers.

nCrowd No delivery, poor customer service

One order took 2 months and was the wrong siz and poor material. Second order placed is yet to be delivered 2 months later and customer service is horrible. For example, CS sends a email saying "I should trace the whereabouts of my merchandise" even after I told them that UPS says that because of the way the package was mailed, "they" the sender has to correct the delivery issue. Each time I contacted them about my merchandise I get a different brush off including a link to UPS that says my package has been at my local post office since January 23, but NCROWD won't lift a finger...not even to return my money and they go find their merchandise. Buyer beware...don't ever spend your money with this company!

nCrowd False Advertising

So I purchased this 4 day 3 night hotel offer thinking that I would get a
deal because they advertise only having to pay for fee which were
20-75.00 per night. Well I paid my 44.00. So I went to the website to
redeem my offer and completed the form. It took more than a week for the
company to respond. Then when they did it was only by email causing me
to loose the first quote for the hotel which was way over what was
advertised $462.00. Then by the time the representative (Ben) got back
to me and I responded to him, the price had changed from 462. to 522.48.
I couldn't watch my email because of being at work and the
representative wouldn't contact me by phone. This went on for days.
Finally my hotel reservation got booked, on the day that I was supposed
to leave. I didn't get confirmation until 6:30 pm that evening and check
in time was 3:00 pm. I had to leave for my destination without
confirmation and on the way I called the hotel itself because customer
service representatives at nCrowd are very non-responsive. I emailed Ben
twice in the morning and the headquarters days before. I even called
them. No response. This was very stressful. I was desperate because it
was my birthday weekend and i had to go to take my late husband's ashes
who was a retired Veteran. This was really important to me because was
also exactly a month after his passing. They also advertised a free
dinner or a grocery card. So I emailed the customer service
Representative again and after waiting for a week for someone to help me
I did it again. Well today someone responded and told me to go to this
site and access my grocery card. To my surprise the site was to buy
grocery coupons. Not to get free coupons but to buy them. WOW.
unbelievable. Please whatever you do, do not purchase any vacations
packages like this. It's not worth you time and money. They are very
deceptive and I could have gotten the same price without having to pay
44.00 for it.

nCrowd Customer Service

I bought a spa deal you are suppose to get a link to refer people to your deal where you can get credit towards other purchases, there was no referral link, I wanted to refer 5 people which would make my deal free. I have emailed them many times, left voice mails but they never respond- KGB deals use to own KGB DEALS but since they sold it to NCROWD the service has gotten worse it was not great before.

There are local deals which are so much better since the people locally such as living social, the goods, groupon, etc actually respond to you !

I bought 4 Secret Santa Boxes from ncrowd, each purchase came with free shipping, these were bought in November of 2014, just in time for 2014 Christmas right, no still do not have these 4 Christmas presents, ncrowd is working on this complaint, but no tracking number as of today so I can see where my 4 boxes are is there travels to me, oh and Im in Canada, Alberta, not happy about this whole thing.

Yes! Mine was a 16gb iPad too @alysharogers! Just imagine. I was initially polite as it's not like me to be confrontational for no reason, but this has just become overly ridiculous

OMG I can't believe this, same thing happened to me I bought an apple I Pad 16 gb. I received it in the allotted time. BUT it wasn't working. I contacted the company . They said to send it back they will replace it. Well that was 5 months ago. I like others kept e-mailing them .Turns out the person that i purchased it form his e-mail is no longer working . Incrowd is now not responding to my emails. I lost 179.00 Like everyone else I'm very upset. Im wondering ... should we all get together and start a law suit?

I hate this company! I ordered through KGB deals and not only did the product take ages to arrive, but it was faulty. They have taken almost 2 months to confirm receipt of the returned faulty product which was sent by recorded delivery; costing over £20. I recently emailed them for the umpteenth time, threatening to contact the police for their Fraud as well as the financial ombudsman - only for this idiot to tell me that they had credited 'my ncrowd account' with my money. First of all what ncrowd account and secondly I want my bloody money refunded in cash! Plus compensation. Evidently I am really really mad!

My son ordered Singing Elsa and Anna dolls for my granddaughters to come straight to my house. They were supposed to be in a box, but were in individual bags. Shipping method was in a plastic bag wrapped around the dolls, sealed with shipping tape. The dolls are cute, but there was no paperwork with them. I discovered where the batteries go and pulled the tabs out to make them work. Nothing. Both dolls did not work. They each take 3 button batteries. If they did work, then I don't see anywhere on the doll where you can control on/off. I will now have to replace the batteries so the girls won't be disappointed on Christmas morning. (and those batteries are not cheap!)

Bought a travel voucher for $79 which was supposed to give me 3 night at a 3 star hotel. Had to email reservations and wait for 10 days to hear back (return policy on vouchers is 7 days). They got back with some offers (saying I only have to pay $300, as opposed to $500...) if I go with their reservation. I find better deals myself on Priceline. Ncrowd won't refund my voucher. Just lost $79.

I have ordered Frozen Dolls set. They are Knock Offs, Cheap Flimsy and in a plastic bag not even packed in a box. This was a Christmas present for my niece, I will be very embaressd to give this dolls as a Christmas present. I have purchased the same kind of dolls off Amazon and they are exactly how they were shown on the website. This I can't believe. This is a scam. First it took them two months to send it, on top of that I received such Crap!. The package is mailed from China, with Chinese writing. I will never use NCrowd again! Groupon, Wagjag and Amazon are what I'm going to stick with!

I bought a double breasted cost which came from China which is very badly stitched material is no good been told to sent it to America and I will not get a refund just credits and I got to pay already lost £26 on rubbish should have a place in the uk . When it was only kgb deals only had no problems had to email them five times can't even get my name right. Please don't waste ur money on this site it a scam There coats are for kids or Chinese young girls as very small.

Same trouble! Contacted them and received a "oh we'll look into it email, give us 3 business days" then no responses ever again! I am a student and do not have a job. I purchased this when I DID have a job and DID have money, but everything has changed abd I can't afford to have the company taking this money from me for nothing!

nCrowd Bad seller

I ordered necklace from the company nCrowd Tippr. The seller promised to deliver it within several days, but after a month I got nothing. I sent emails and messages through the website, but the seller didn’t reply. I sick with such services, what the hell happened with this company. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

I had a similar experience. I purchased a "deal" from this operation only to find out it was not honored by the company they sold it for. The company advised me to relay the message that they did not accept their site sales and to refund me. First I was given a "we don't refund after 7 days" excuse. When I pressed the issue they said they deposited a credit in the amount of my purchase to my account. When I went to login to my account to try to find something legit to purchase with the credit, i found my account had been deleted. Definitely reporting them to BBB and filing fraud with credit card co. This is by far a sleazy operation- I've since read several more complaints/issues similar to mine and they have been cited as a scam site. DO NOT purchase anything from this outfit. Buyer beware!
