I received a call from NCL financial system they told me to call [protected] so I called the number the office is closed and I received a voicemail message saying it was NCO financial systems.
I went to the better business bureau website and check the number and it says the number belongs to a company called The Sentry Group. Here is the link

My advice to all of you is to not disclose any information to them. Tell them you don't know who they are and hang up. Then block them on your phone. If they continue, you CAN file an harrasment suit about through the federal goverment FCC website. I have done it and it works!

I have had several calls from Fred Yohannes with NCL Financial Systems trying to collect a debt owed to Bank of America by my 87 year old mother who was put in a nursing home in January of 2010.

Fred said he has left several messages, and the ones I have heard have not included a phone number. After Fred telling my husband there was not a phone number in the message, my husband played back one of the messages and proved there was no phone #. Fred stated he had left it on an earlier message & did not feel it was necessary to leave it again. In that case, why even bother calling again?

Fred is very unprofessional, interrupting constantly. He also told me that the Bank of America debt was the only debt my mom has! I was trying to explain that all people, companies, etc DO NOT necessarily use the reporting agencies, and he has NO WAY of knowing what my mom's debts are. He was interrupting the whole time, and, after tellling him to never call me again, I hung up on him!

What a JERK!

Mom has subsisted on a minimal Social Security Income monthly check all of her retired life after working most of her life starting at age 14.

She is on Medicare & Medicaid and thank goodness the nursing home she is in accepts Medicaid patients. Her Medicaid is based on her incomoe and they take the majority of her monthly check and leave her with a very small portion with which to pay the few bills she has.

I am Power of Attorney for Mom in everyone's eyes, except Bank of America, who refuses to recognize my POA without an original.

We reported possible fraudulent charges on her card but have gotten no response from them on this subject.

Now they have turned it over to the armpit of all collection agencies, NCL!

I hope that company gets slapped with lawsuits galore!

The company is doing something very common called "Grave Collecting"... it's actually a 'deadbeat' company that purchases somewhat legitamate (but seriously outdated and in most cases beyond any scope of the statute of limitations or about to become defunct) debt from perhaps your cousin or a dead relative and tries to say you owe the money to them. Get their mailing address and send them a letter stating that you have no sound belief that any debt they might be suggesting could possibly be your own and according the the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they need to leave you alone. They then have to do just that or take it to court on their own. (Trust me, they'll leave you alone and go to the next person in their file.)

Enjoy.

Eric states that: "NCO has been a great company to work for and maybe some of you low-lifes should get out of the gutter and come work for us. So basically he is saying that his company hires losers. Nice.

He seems very intellegent... he goes out and gets high at lunch time and comes back in and laughs at all the deadbeats. I wonder if Chase and or NCO has a drug testing policy? So I ask you who is the low life loser here? This ### almost makes me want to default on a payments jsut to have him call me so I can rip him a new one.

Not all the people you call on are "deadbeats" Why don't you get a life you loser. Eric Giardina seems to be a real a**hole! I hope you and your company gets a class action suit against you for harassing and annoying people.

Ha, Great post whiner! This is Eric Giardina and yes, we do harass some of you deadbeats, but that's our job. Where is your deadbeat mother? She isn't paying her Chase Bank credit card bill. I know because Chase is our parent company and we read all through your account files, history, etc. Deal with it and pay your bills and we won't have to call everyone and track down you losers. I'm a tough guy and can deal with it so I'll keep calling. It is a great job actually. I will sometimes smoke up a bit on break or at lunch and when I make my calls then I can hardly keep from laughing at all of your ### excuses. Pay your bills and we'll stop calling. NCO has been a great company to work for and maybe some of you low-lifes should get out of the gutter and come work for us http://www.ncogroup.com/Careers/Search_for_Careers_at_NCO.html and pay off your debt. Get a job and pay your bills losers! You can send all the Cease and Desist orders you want. Our managers trash them and tell us to disregard them anyhow. That's why we keep calling. What are going to do? Sue us? C'mon now you can't pay your bills as it is so what lawyer are you going to get. Take care, I'll be calling! Eric

i have been receiving messages from a man identifying himself as Ray, Nick and Eric Giardina. He claims someone in my family opened a credit card in my name in 1999 and never paid the bill. I have seen my credit report recently and I know there is no card from Chase bank with an outstanding balance. In fact, I monitor my report monthly for years and know of no such debt. He then asked me for my social security number. I told him I don't believe the debt to be mine and I would like him to stop calling. He calls daily, leaves threatening messages and asks for me and my family members, sometimes beginning the call with " where is your mother, where is your mother. I filed two reports with the FTC.
