On 5/11/2009 National Loan Resolution was paid via my VISA $2995.00 to help me obtain a Loan Modification through Bank Of America (BOA).
On 3/16/2009, I applied online through the 'Making Homes Affordable' program for a Loan Modification. Within hours of this application, I was contacted by phone by a company named Debt Solution One (DSO), and solicited for DSO to "legally"represente me through the Loan Modification process. I believed their sales pitch, checked them out online and decided I would take their representation. I didn't realize at the time that they would have NLR (National Loan Resolution) handle my paperwork.
Today, nearly a year later, I learned that on Sept.24, 2009, a NLR loand processor had told BOA, that I (The Client-Applicant) was DECLINING BOA's offer of "Forbearance" (trial modified mortgage payments). I was never told of this BOA offer and definitely would not have declined the offer. Today on the phone with BOA's Home Retention Dept. was the first I had learned of NLR's actions. BOA named the NLR's employee who gave this statement of "decline" and also gave the date of this contact. The NLR employee is no longer with NLR . NowI'm left with greater debt and have had to start the process completely over on my own.
